So I will preface by saying that I come here during happy hour. I don't go here for a full on meal or anything. This is an after work treat for my co-worker and I. We were going far too regularly for a while. Then both of us decided that it needed to go back to a once in a while treat because we spend too much money on each visit. So for happy hour, you get a drink option. I think there are four drink options that vary daily plus two house wines to choose from. Then you choose one of the tiny bites to go along with it. They bring you a chexmix type appetizer, which lemme tell ya, it is surprisingly great with the drinks. The staff is so friendly. Our names are remembered and they always ask me if I'm getting x and y. I'm a creature of habit and it's clearly obvious. The manager and /or owner is quiet and always on his laptop. It's tucked away and mainly for those who work in the buildings. Interior is dark but there are plenty of seats. The soft seats inside are nice seem great for a nicer meeting, but I'm so small they swallow me up. Outside is the spot! While the seats are metal and not comfortable, the fresh air, green space and cheerful people that work within the buildings make it a great space to enjoy a happy hour. Order at the register, they bring it to you. I read one review from a while ago that said it takes forever for someone to help them, maybe that's because it's not built like that. But once you've ordered your first round, they will gladly refill you from your table, as they know you might want a second! read more

I've been to Cuvée a few times, and every time, I feel like the food is just okay and the prices are extremely high. I'd stay away from the pizzas (the dough is not very good and the sauce is meh). I think the salads are pretty standard and the pastas are just okay. Overall, this place does the job but isn't really worth it for the price. You're better off going to Mendocino Farms next door or trekking over to the Westfield Century City Mall. read more

Discreet and coy spot tucked away in the Fairmont Century Plaza, with a casual and subdued vibe. Marg was tasty, chicken sliders were decent, although a little too bready for my liking. Prices are a bit steep, but it's part of a business and resident complex so that's to be expected. Happy hour deal is solid though (it's a free select app with order of a limited drink menu that changes each day from 3-6) and service is attentive which is nice. There had been a little confusion about the drink being ordered not being part of happy hour so then got charged for the food which we didn't actually want but got it because they asked which food item we wanted from the HH menu with it (cause the sliders were not worth $18... $12 would be right, $15 at most)... but after some sorting out the staff quickly resolved the matter without hassle which was greatly appreciated! I work in the same building as this restaurant and have been a loyal, paying customer for months, always ordering the same meal. Yet every single time, I'm charged a different amount. I understand that prices can vary with add-ons, but there's no reasonable explanation for my chicken taco salad increasing from $22 to $23, and now $24 -- especially when I order it exactly the same way each time. What's even more concerning is the way I've been treated since I simply asked about the inconsistent pricing. The woman who works there has had a noticeably rude attitude ever since, and even the manager (or owner) who initially seemed polite has now shown complete unprofessionalism. It's unacceptable and frankly inappropriate to treat paying customers this way it borders on bullying. No restaurant, especially one operating in a professional office building, should make customers feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or unwelcome for asking a valid question about pricing. l've been a long time customer of Cuvée, mostly out of convenience. The company I had worked for is based out of the office park that Cuvée is located in. I'm not even exaggerating when I say every single time I've been there it is a struggle to get anyone to notice that we are seated and ready to place an order. 9 times out of 10 we have to stand up and call attention to ourselves for anyone to pay us the time of day. Earlier tonight, a group of colleagues and I were hurriedly rushed out of the restaurant, with drinks still in hand may I mind you. They claimed to have an event, no final call times posted or announced, and were happy to serve us and collect our money. When addressing the poor handling of the situation with the manager on staff we were told he'd prefer we "not come back." So my recommendation is no one spend their money here. They clearly don't value their clientele. I've already let my former employer know to stop utilizing them for their office parties and events. They're a company that actually values customer service. After seven years in the restaurant biz and 10 more in customer relations I can confidently say they have 0/10 customer service at Cuvée. read more

I met my sister for lunch last Friday. She picked up a pizza from Cuvee in Century City. She said she'd gotten it before and it was pretty good. She brought the pizza back and it was just dough, olive oil and pepperoni (NO CHEESE). When she'd had it in the past, she said it was covered with cheese. We both had one small slice each and found it inedible. She put it in her office kitchen and a couple of pieces were taken but half the pizza was left. If you know about free food in an office kitchen, then you know how bad this pizza was. She took it back to Cuvee later that afternoon. The person at the register said he would have to talk to his manager because she paid cash and they did not give her a receipt, and he tried to convince her she had ordered a pizza with NO CHEESE. She left her name and number and no one called her. She left two messages on the website and no one responded. She brought the pizza back to Cuvee today and was speaking to the manager when some jerko said the "pizza was old" and that's why the CHEESE COULD NOT BE SEEN. So he reluctantly said he'd change it out for her. She did not want another pizza as she had already ordered her lunch from a much better place next door (Menocino Farms). He would not let her talk and then with great exasperation said what do you want? She said "a refund." He grabbed the "by now" 5-day old pizza and said quite loudly in his crowded restaurant, "Okay, I'll get you a F&&king refund." She repeated quite loudly, "yes, get me a F&&king refund." Then he repeated himself with "Okay, I'll get you a F&&king refund." And.... this went on for a bit until his wife (assuming it was his mortified wife) gave her cash from the register ($22.00). A guy who is willing to tank his business over $22.00 of ill-prepared food. Will wonders never cease? read more

My friend and I both got scombroid poisoning from this restaurant. We both ordered the seared ahi tuna bowl on November 6 and within approximately 20 minutes experienced the same symptoms: hot/red itchy face and neck, hives, rashes, chills, headache and lightheadedness. Had to go to urgent care and get a shot. At least one person in my office building also experienced the same symptoms from eating at this place the same day. I called the restaurant and apprised the manager, Dodi, of the situation and requested that he not serve the tuna to other patrons. I went here for lunch with a couple coworkers during my visit to the Century City office. Ordering was simple, but somehow mine and another coworker's food came out around the same time and the other coworker's food came out much later. Not sure what happened there since it was just a wrap. Anyways, I tried the ahi tuna bowl, and it was alright. A bit bland, but a good assortment of veggies within the rice. I've had so much of Cuvée, it's unreal. They close at 9pm on weekdays, which is really convenient for when I have a late night at work. Out of all of the dishes I've had, the ahi tuna sandwich, spicy shrimp Caesar salad and their hot pasta dishes are my favorite. I definitely recommend getting the made-to-order things, because the items they have in the cooler display (where you can get three sides or three sides plus chicken/salmon) is very oily imo. There's a ton of oil at the bottom of my container each time I get the sides. Delicious though haha. The waiters are very very kind. I usually call in to order and then pick up in 15 minutes. The staff at the counter are always welcoming and quick, which is perfect for breakfast lunch dinner or happy hour. The atmosphere is always enjoyable. If you want to dine-in, you can get a number and sit at a table where they will bring your food directly to your table. The service is very fast! I got one of the specials on the menu, a salmon salad. There was tons of salmon which was fantastic and the salad was fresh. You can tell this place only has the freshest ingredients but when each salad is $14, I would hope so! For the price, the portion is generous. The dressing isn't overbearing and is delicate to the palate. You definitely pay for convenience when you decide to come here. I came here twice this past week be cause I love this place! The first time I came I ordered one of their Lunch specials--salmon with saffron rice and cauliflower. It was delicious! The second time I came, I ordered the spicy pink sauce pasta with shrimp. Although the sauce was not spicy at all, it was flavorful! FYI, bread are available upon request. So sad they shut down the location on Robertson Blvd. (after 25 years apparently) and third street. I thought they had such amazing hospitable customer service when I went, that I decided I would like to share encouraging more people to go to their other location. FOOD Situation: They had happy hour and so we tried the cheese plate, meatballs, wings, and rose of course! Each item was about $8 from their Happy Hour menu whereas dishes range around $14 They have fresh options in a cooler to pick from which was cool and their food wasn't over done. Simple and casual. DELIVERY: I believe they are going to continue delivering to the old Robertson Blvd. area as well which is nice if you had any prior cravings from them. They also sell a ton of different items. Not sure if this location is the same. Things like their wines, cheeses, little kitchen gadgets by Le Creuset. Absolute worst, rude treatment from the manager here. Beware! This man is unfit for his job and is a detriment to a business that requires customer relations. One interaction with him can negatively affect your day! An order for gluten free fish was placed and when I received a breaded fish and tried to return it, in a rude and abrasive tone he said I would just have to repurchase another dish. For the purposes of time, I did end up paying for a bland and tough kale salad. As we were leaving I did tell him that he is rude and he made hand gestures and motioned us to leave. Shout outs to Bernardino. I might be a soft grader but honestly these were the most tender and well balanced spice to flavor buffalo chicken tenders I've ever had. 9 dollars for about 4 long strips. I had a glass of Pinot for 8 dollars during happy hour and I believe the glass of Malbec which is my fave was only 9 dollars. I parked with valet but there is plenty of self park that comes with validation. Great selection of pastas, Salads and fish plates which makes this an easy west LA corporate favorite. I like Cuvee, and don't understand the so-so reviews. In the couple trips I've been here, the food was delicious, and the staff unfailingly helpful. Literally, I was just browsing the first time. The were apparently offering samples of soup. (Or maybe I just overheard someone ask for a sample and thought that was a reasonable scam, jk) Really, though, the soup was awesome and obviously created by some gifted culinary people. I like that they have food to take out for a picnic, as well as food ready to eat right there. I like looking at the wine bottles available, and am eager to pop by for their fabled Happy Hour. I came by for lunch last week, and loved it. The (non-Chilean) sea-bass is cooked to order, so it might take a minute. It's well worth it. Flavorful, sauteed and served atop a Mexican Caesar Salad.
