I love the Melanie! One of the coziest wine bars in LA. It's also a great spot for a date night. They have a great selection of wines, both by glass and bottle; the service is fast and staff are friendly. Usually their bottles are discounted, so always ask!! The space get a bit loud inside but nothing too bad. Highly recommended.

Such a cute little date spot! We had a GNO dinner here and everything was perfect. We taste tested some wines and waited at the bar for a table for a little bit. The staffs are very nice and they moved us to a table quickly. Parking is a little tough around here so you'll have to circle around a while or valet at a restaurant next door. The mussels were delicious and the burger had a thick layer of chopped bacon in it so it's extra juicy. Highly recommend these! Will def be back to try the rest of the menu. Apparently they also changed the menu recently so make sure to check out the new menu!

Ooh I don't know... Melanie has cute romantic vibes but the night I went smelled putrid. The inside of the restaurant doesn't smell good at all even though they had a bunch of candles and diffuser sticks. They need to fix something about it because I wouldn't come back here just because of the smell. Our server was very attentive! But the food was just okay. I think the steak frites were overpriced given how bland the fries were, and the steak was a little under seasoned for my taste. The burger was juicy, but it was a little too greasy. Good wine selection though! Overall, I would probably try other restaurants in the area!

Great service and great happy hour! They offer patio seating to enjoy your wine as you people watch. Check their board for daily specials!

Cozy inside, chill outside. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there's usually metered street parking if you're patient. The staff know their wine and give great recs without the snob factor. Decent selection, tasty food, and bottles are 50% off on Sundays and Mondays. Good people, good better wine, easy win.

Love it so much, got a portrait of it!

My boyfriend and I had our first date here and now it holds a special place in our hearts (I even commissioned a drawing of the facade for our anniversary). The sommelier is fantastic, he walked us through the wine list and treats everyone like family. I've been back several times with my boyfriend, my girlfriends, anyone who will go with me! It's a gem of a spot. Highly recommend!

This wine bar has the most delicious food and I've been to most, if not all, wine bars in LA! The tater lots with the spicy aioli are a must and their burger and mushroom risotto are also so delicious. I'm a huge fan of their wine recommendations and every time I come here, I try something different. The owner is so knowledgeable, attentive, and lovely and so my experience is very different from the experience of the reviewer down below. The interior is beautiful and intimate even though it gets a bit loud. Parking isn't too bad in this area with its plentiful street parking. Definitely recommend reserving as it gets popular!

Great cute little wine bar with a little French and Italian mix. The menu is limiting and the place gets loud. Looked like most peeps were in to drink wine and munch on the charcuterie boards with their date. We opted for the tater tots which did not disappoint and both got the burger. Again, delicious but it was bigger than I was expecting for a small wine bar so we really should have just split one.

I have the grass-fed burger. $21. It came with an abundance of shoestring fries that were perfectly cooked. The burger was nice and juicy, the bun properly warmed, and the special sauce they use has the perfect amount of snap. Great burger approved! Our food orders came out to us in no time at all. Can't believe how fast they were and what great care they put into the food. I'm not a coffee snob or expert in any way, but this is the best iced latte I've ever had! Great presentation, too! I'm not sure what brand of coffee it is, but it's a specialty brand, and it's a good one! Service was OK. Our server took our orders and was very pleasant, but didn't come back to check on us. Our water bottles were empty but not refilled. They have a QR code payment system, making it super easy to split the bill. I will certainly be back for some more of that great coffee!

We had the Saffron Rice Bites and Rigatoni Bolognese, and both dishes were great! The Saffron Rice Bites had ahi tuna, spicy mayo, avocado, jalapeño, and smoked trout roe. The highlight was definitely the crispy saffron rice underneath, which had a perfect crunch that complemented the fresh ingredients. Each bite was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, making it a standout dish. As for the Rigatoni Bolognese, it was a hearty and rich option made with grass-fed beef and topped with grated Parmigiano Reggiano; we asked for extra cheese. We dove into it so quickly that I forgot to snap a photo! The flavors were robust and comforting, making it an ideal choice for a chilly day. Speaking of the weather, the staff was incredibly attentive. When we mentioned feeling a bit cold, they promptly switched out a propane tank to make sure we were cozy. It was very thoughtful.

We stopped by on a Monday around 8pm and it was surprisingly quiet at first, but before long people started walking in for Trivia Night and the atmosphere became much livelier. OR Bar has a really stylish, welcoming vibe. The black and gold decor, artwork, and chandeliers give it an upscale feel. I also like that it's more than just a nighttime spot. During the day, people come in to work, enjoy coffee, and just hang out, which gives it a nice neighborhood vibe. I ordered an Angry Orchard Cider and my friend ordered one of their Espress-OR Martinis. It looked great but it was strong! If you are an espresso martini fan who likes this style of drink, you will probably enjoy it. There are metered spaces behind the bar and there is also residential street parking nearby if you pay attention to the posted signs. Overall, this was a fun find and I can definitely see why it has become a neighborhood favorite. I would come back to try more of the cocktails and experience another Trivia Night.

Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!
