Never get a prescription filled around lunch time. You will end up waiting and waiting and waiting. Twice I was told "So and so is at lunch, when they return, you will be able to get your prescription". With a sick kid in the car, waiting 45+ minutes is unacceptable. read more

As I pulled up in front store clerk waved and said hello. I had to wait a few minutes for the store to open but it was not opening time yet. I just bought a couple things and I noticed that the stuff was unusually friendly. Store is fine, not unlike most other drug stores in the neighborhood - of which there are three (3) within earshot of each other. One of the pharmacists here has a complete lack of customer relations skills. Ms. Im made a complete mockery of my request and made sure I felt like a complete idiot in front of other customers. My wife and I have both moved our business across the street. Completely uncalled for. read more

All I have to say is slow! They must be understaffed all the time because it's always the same wait in line about an aisle long then there is about a 50% chance they will have what they called me for. I should really change pharmacies. read more

My insurance company forces us to go to CVs, which is the most expensive drugstore. The cashiers and staff at the pharmacy register are usually friendly; some very much so. However, the pharmacy seems to be perpetually understaffed. If you have to work a 9-5 type job and think that you're going to pick up prescriptions after work, forget it. There's always a huge line. And whenever I wait for a prescription, they're supposed to call you on the overhead. I've waited 40 minutes for what was supposed to take 15 minutes, got back in line and then they had my prescription, but never paged me. This has happened more than once. I'm sure that's related to the understaffing, also. Management is poor; the front line employees seem to do their best in challenging circumstances. read more

Pharmacist on staff is horrible!!! Bad customer service. Also, he seems really rude towards women...not sure what his deal is. I finally couldn't tolerate his behavior & moved all my prescriptions to Rite Aid. I literally will never use CVS again due to them hiring this man & me having to deal with him for several months. The store: there are some nice clerks here but I dread the male ones. If they make me bag my own large shopping order one more time, I am never going in this store again. I may not anyway. They act like they have no experience with anyone buying more than 5 items or something. Bringing your own bag is not meant to also mean bagging your own items. They leave my items sitting on the checkout counter without helping me bag and move on to the next person. Imagine actually finishing my shopping order first by bagging my items so I can get out of there. So sick of it. read more

This pharmacy is amazingly bad. Every time I come here for a prescription I have at least one problem, if not several. Also, there is always a customer angry or dissatisfied with their prescription service, and sometimes several people in the same line. I would not recommend this pharmacy. The pharmacy on Geer Rd in Turlock, CA is the most inefficient and frustrating place. My prescriptions were rarely ready when promised even after they sent text messages notifying me that they were ready for pick up. I was also given the wrong medication and suffered some terrible symptoms. read more

I have been shopping at and having prescriptions filled at this store, since it first opened. During that time period, store cleanliness and most noticeably Pharmacy customer service has gone from being decent to absolutely dismal. During 2017-2018, nearly every time I needed to pick-up a prescription, there has been an issue. One time I received an automated call stating my prescriptions were ready, but upon arrival it turned out only one was ready. I was told if I wanted to wait, it would be 15-20 minutes. 40 minutes later, it still wasn't ready. The last time my physician electronically sent a prescription, I tried calling ahead and waited 2 hours beyond the time it was promised to be ready. Of course it wasn't, and I was rudely informed the pharmacist still needed to sign off on it and I could wait 15 minutes or come back. I had already waited in line and decided to wait the extra time. 30 minutes later .... Nada. I walked out of the store. Next time I plan to have my prescriptions sent elsewhere. No customer, especially one who is feeling ill, deserves to be treated that way. read more

I have been having issues with CVS since Anthem BX made them preferred instead of Rite Aid, which gave me excellent service for years!! CVS has a terrible supply problem on rxs. I have had to transfer back prescriptions on three occasions to Rite Aid and pay add'l because CVS had the meds on order, but had no idea if and when they would receive them. This was not only at the AG store, but Pismo as well, and two of my drs offices knew that there were grave supply issues at CVS. I have registered a complaint with BX and in accordance with their contract with the Center for Medicare and Medicade, they have 30 days to resolve the problem or notify me of any action that is taken. I cannot believe that CVS has a campaign to encourage patients to take their meds as directed, and then not to be able to supply them. We are not buying candy bars!! These are often life sustaining drugs. There must be others out there who have had similiar problems. Let them hear from you!! read more
