She was chatting with the cashier, showing her vacation photos. They both saw when I got in line and carried on. They kept talking and swiping through their phone as if I was invisible. This lasted at least 10 minutes! Another patron arrived and they carried on, the guy that was also in line was giving me "what the heck is going on" looks. The cashier and person finally wrapped up their conversation and she left. The cashier said maybe 3 words to me and sent me on my way. I have now transferred my prescription elsewhere.

We've been customers at The medicine shoppe / Auburn Pharmacy and compounding Center for three…read moreyears now, but no more. We ended up switching pharmacies because there was a huge problem. My mother just went through major foot surgery and is recovering at home, which I told our contact there. This person had told us to contact only them with any concerns or prescription refills that we needed, so I did. I told her that we needed my mother's Nexium filled, she has to take the 40 mg tabs in order to keep gerd, heartburn, and other lovely things down. Despite knowing this, the contact insisted that she couldn't get ahold of anyone at the primary doctor's office. She then suggests that I should call. The number she has is exactly the same as mine. In other words, no matter who is calling, you still have to go through the call tree no matter what. There's no magic number that goes straight to the doctor. this went on for two weeks, with my mother having to take over-the-counter Nexium in the meantime which helped but didn't fully subdue her symptoms. I finally got so frustrated with her, that I ended up switching to our primary doctors offices Pharmacy. I came to discover yesterday when I called Medicare that the "Prior Authorization" that our contact at Auburn Pharmacy had been complaining about, was not even eligible. It had expired in March of 2020... I have been trying to fill this prescription all month so far for July of 2020. She never once mentioned that to me. if it weren't for Medicare, we would never have gotten this settled and Mom would still be without her prescription. The bottom line is I would never recommend this place to anyone, they're not open on weekends and they don't seem very interested in helping you as all the other reviews will claim.

Over time its gotten way worse. 1st of all the store has almost everything under lock and key. They have a system that notify you when your prescription is ready. Well I get the notification two days ago, come in and they never filled the prescription for my new heart medication. Do they think the doctor didn't request the meds because we need them, so fill the script. If your overwhelmed with customers hire more help. This is crazy. Then when you get notified do you still want the medication? Well what the heck I came two days ago when they said it was ready and it wasnt so of course yes I want it I need it. So I hate having to wait in line for 1/2 an hour tons of customers are tired of waiting but Im still here waiting. I even have a card on file for payment. There should be an express area for pick up. I cant get it delivered because Im an insurance patient with good insurance and I guess you can only get free delivery if your on medical or something like that. Us insurance patients have to pay for delivery. This is a joke and it sucks going to look into other means of getting my regular medications with my insurance carrier.

I have even had instances where I have been on hold for over 20 minutes and then when someone finally answered the phone, they hung up on me! As others have mentioned, the wait times are ridiculous in store and in the drive through. It seems like every time I try to refill a prescription, there is an issue. I put in a refill request on Monday and it is now Friday and my prescription still has not been filled. I am almost out of my medication and I can't get ahold of anyone over the phone to figure out what the hold up is. Every month when it comes time to refill my meds, I deal with this. I plan to look for another pharmacy because this one is horrible. If I could give it no stars, I would. My recommendation to anyone who wants a pharmacy that is efficient and reliable, RUN far away from this place!

That makes no sense to me because they have list so much in sales from under stocking. I don't know if it is that they aren't in the profit range or just not well managed. This used to be my favorite CVS because it is close to home, but I'll be going further afar from now on or maybe on to RiteAid. Attention to details and working to be sure you have exactly what you need and want. Delivery is always nice but if you tell them you need it right away they are wonderful at getting it for you quickly. They recognize and greet each customer and know you by name.
