Every month I have a medication due at the same time. Every single month I practically have to beg for it. Even when I call it in the week before it's due, they tell me my insurance won't approve it until it's due. That is a lie. They simply are so incompetent that they don't have it in stock. With the computerized service they use I feel quite sure they know exactly how many patients are on this medication. I'm forced by my insurance to use these incompetent, lying pharmacists and just as soon as I can get Medicare I will no longer be their customer. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I can't believe anyone goes to this pharmacy! My insurance said we had to switch to CVS so we tried it. 2 months later and numerous visits by my wife and myself and we still don't even show up in their system. No one answers the phone - EVER. Have never gotten an answer when I had to call. Mixups are common. Service is spotty, like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Absolutely horrible customer service I called them to ask a simple question and he put me on hold. After four minutes on hold someone answered real quick and said hold please for one moment next thing I know it's already 15 minutes after so I call back thinking maybe they forgot about me and I wait on hold for another 15 minutes. Obviously this company's main priority is not the customer. I've use CVS before and never had this problem. Worst pharmacy ever! My pharmacy didnt have my medication so I had to go to CVS. The pharmacist (who is a foreigner) used some lame excuse as to why he couldnt fill my medication, because my doctor is in Houston. Who ever heard of that he was just too lazy to fill it. My friend goes here for her medication and thank God I dont have to because I saw what they did to her. Not only did they lie and say she had to wait to get her med when she went to pick it up they said it was never put in the computer. So then they partially filled it to which she waited over an hour for. Her daughter has a major staph infection and she needs her med right now. She was on hold for an hour trying to check the status of the partial fill and they hung up on her after she waited that long. Pathetic excuse for human beings over there. Soooo.....the manager told me that they have an arbitrary Covid rule that you cannot return something bought from another CVS location, even with a receipt. Shameful for a pharmacy to have such a silly "because COVID" rule that has no scientific merit (returns from purchases at their location are allowed). read more

By far the worst service in a pharmacy in Baytown, the prescription pick up line is always so full, due to the fact of the staff members always being so un organized and they tend to their personal conversations first rather than tend to the customers needs. There is only one person working the pick up section and the drive thru, which not to mention the horrible attitudes that the front ladies have. It's not our fault that they don't like their jobs or they're having a bad day. Overall, avoid coming here if possible. I would give this zero stars if possible. read more

This pharmacy is overwhelmed with business. Get ready to wait and wait for filled prescriptions. If you have to call them, they will keep you on hold in excess of 20 minutes or until you hang up. You're forced to listen to garbled piano music - which I have called the store manager about and was told it's a corporate issue. The music gets louder and more garbled as it goes along until it repeats. The pharmacy's automated system loses your refills so you are forced to call. Pharmacy seems to have no effective management. Employees seem to have no drive or just no motivation to be thorough at their job. I dropped 2 prescriptions early in the morning. I received the text alert notifying me that they were ready for pick. During lunch, I picked up the prescription, found only 1 prescription was filled, I went back thru the drive thru line, I notified the young lady working the window that I was 1 prescription short. She explained based on the data in the system that the 2nd prescription wasn't approved by the insurance until a set date. Which I was like ok, would have been helpful if she mentioned that when I first picked up the order. I agreed to wait until the allowed date, tech said she would note it in the system to have it ready that day. Well that day comes, and no alerts. I tried all day to call. Busy signals most of the day and when I finally get thru, I get the automated system, which after the process of selection, I get transferred to the pharmacy. Then no answer, one time I waited for over 45 mins. This went on for 2 days. I finally decided that I needed to drive to the store after work to get the whole situation sorted out. After all that, I still had to wait until the next day to get my prescription. I manage large scale projects with 1000s of employees, and issues similar to these are caused by very poor, absent management. Employees will do what they are allowed to do unless management sets out clear expectations and gauges their employees performance based on those expectations. Most people want to do a good job and with the proper tools, guidance and motivation most will do an outstanding job. And the CVS employees that I dealt with on this issue were more than willing help and eventually did but the process is definitely broken at this specific store. Very Very Sad. read more

Normally I only write reviews of restaurants, but I felt compelled to warn others away from this pharmacy. All CVS pharmacies that I have visited across the country seem to have slow service compared to their competition, but this one takes it to a whole new level. I waited in line for 56 MINUTES to pick up my wife's two prescriptions. Not for consultation. Not for drop off. Just to give the pharmacy tech her name and get her pills. To add insult, they overcharged me by $175.00. They had no record of the $150 coupon that she handed to them at drop off the day before. They also charged $25 more than the price she was quoted for the other one. These are "must have" medications., so I had no choice but to pay it. Stay away at all cost!!!! read more

I rarely use CVS pharmacy and I'm reminded today why. Horrible experience trying to get three prescriptions filled. Dropped off at 11am and asked to return in one hour. I came back an hour and half later, and scripts were not ready. Now I've returned after another hour and only two are ready. I'm the one who caught it as I was paying that there were only two not three? So now I'm waiting again for the third script they never processed! Not good.... read more

Worst customer service. Dropped off prescription and was told it would be ready the next day. Call next day to check on it, they didn't have a record of it. Over heard someone tell the employee I was on the phone with, that they forgot to put it in. They employee informed me that it was not ready, when I press her about what over heard. She told me it would be ready by 4 that evening. I showed up at 5:45. Just to find out that the day shift pharmacist did not get to it. Stay away from this pharmacy they are unorganized, and lack customer service. It takes hours to take a box of nasal spray off the shelf, and put a label on it. The minimum time to refill a prescription is two hours. The time starts when you arrive there. It doesn't matter that they received the prescription four hours earlier. I have received phone calls informing me my prescription was filled, but when I arrived they did not have it ready. There is no customer service, and no good management. They don't care about the customers or the customers time. read more

Being in healthcare and having a history working in retail such as CVS I try my best to be considerate and patient with the staff as well as management. I dropped off my sons prescription yesterday evening, gave them a copy and even notified the staff of the new insurance card and offered to pick up the prescription today to give them enough time to process it. The clerk informed me they already had the insurance on file and handed the card back. Today, when I called over 10 hours later they notified me the prescription was ready but the cost was without the insurance because " the policy we have on file is no longer active". Insurance updates are only accepted in person so not only did I wait 18 minutes and 22 seconds to speak to someone I more than likely will waste another 15 minutes standing in line and 10 minutes to get the updated cost. I can understand if this happened once but sadly it's not the first time around. Call it frustration but I also say it's poor customer service and lack of detail. As a convenience I would of taken the information over the phone since it was their fault for not obtaining the correct information and requested for the cards to be brought to the pharmacy. A new pharmacy in mind will hopefully streamline the customer service process. read more

They waited until a few minutes after 10pm so the pharmacist could tell me he was the only one working and come back in the morning... Still wasn't ready when I got there at 830 am.... Every time I need a script filled here there's a problem. I've been super patient everytime I've been there. They have an army of pharmacy techs there all the time, yet nothing gets done in a timely manner. None of them seem to communicate effectively with each other. Apprehensively, I had to call there this evening regarding a new prescription. I waited on hold 20 mins (not exaggerating), and no one ever picked up the phone. I hung up and called back to the general line and asked to speak to the store manager on duty. The lady said "I can help you". I explained to her how long I had been on hold for the pharmacy very nicely, and her response was "ma'am, they answer the calls as they come in. Each call lasts 10-15 minutes, and they're busy all the time. This is the busiest cvs in Baytown." My response was "I'm sorry you're so busy, but it's not helping me get someone to help me get the diabetes medicine that I need, so do you think I should transfer my prescriptions elsewhere so that I can get my medicine?" she said "like I said, this is the busiest cvs in Baytown maam". I politely asked for the store manager's name and then got off the phone. Obviously I just need to use a different pharmacy. Even they think so........ read more
