We've been coming to Qamaria ever since they first opened, and it has consistently been one of our favorite coffee spots. The coffee, desserts, and atmosphere are always amazing, but what truly keeps us coming back is the outstanding service. Jenna is absolutely the best! She is always welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and she goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Her service is consistently excellent, and she makes every customer feel valued. The entire team does a fantastic job, but Jenna's professionalism and positive attitude really stand out.

Went back to try the Qamaria latte and it was every bit as delicious as the tea. The flavors are perfectly balanced--rich and aromatic without being overpowering. They lightly sweeten the drinks just enough, creating a smooth and satisfying experience. A great spot if you appreciate unique flavors like cardamom done well.

We ordered Dubai chocolate cheese cake, coconut cake, signature coffee and tea with clover and mint. Dubai chocolate cheese cake really stood out. I prefer tea to the coffee which has cardamom in it. Tea went very well with the dessert.

I get their pistachio latte at least once a week I'm so glad that Concord has a new coffee spot that is solid! I'm pretty particular and their flavors are on point. It's a really nice interior, clean and spacious. Service is 100/10 so sweet.

Qamaria Yemeni did not disappoint! My first impression here is that everything feels intentional from the clean, warm, and thoughtfully designed decor to the aesthetically plated food. The staff was very attentive, too. I came with friends, and we ordered a few drinks and a couple of desserts to share. I had the Banana Matcha Latte, and this was really good. I asked for regular sweet, but it wasn't as sweet. I asked for a bit more sweetness, and the staff was happy to help. Once I got it back, it was perfect. My friend had the Mango Dragonfruit Refreshed, and this was a great drink. Perfect for summer, very refreshing. For dessert, we shared a Biscoff MilkCake with the texture of a tres leches cake. It was sweet but incredibly flavorful. It is a big piece and good to share. It pairs well with a drink that is not too sweet. We also ordered the Mango Cheesecake, which was a hit. Lots of flavor and delicious crust. We saw people ordering kettles of coffee and sharing with dessert. We agreed we want to come back and do this. The store has lots of space to hang out or study. I will come back for more. There are many drinks and desserts I would love to try!

Location formerly occupied by furniture store. With Qamaria Yemeni Coffee strongly trending, the change made plenty of sense. Given the open space format and friendly customer service, it feels inviting. Recently picked up on Mufawaar and gained a strong liking for it. Had it hot at another location and finally tried iced on this visit. Foreign in flavor in comparison to my usual but absolutely love it! A new addition to the palette is a positive one. Looking to caffeinate in the later hours? They are open till 11 PM. Happy to have found a new location in the city of Concord!

I've driven by this place a few times and finally stopped in to try it. We got the banana crumble matcha and the iced pistachio latte. Both were excellent and pleasantly not too sweet. Everything felt well balanced and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back to try some of their desserts!

I finally stopped by this new Qamari Yemeni Cafe at the backside of Willows Park & Shop area. The Cafe is big and the decor is beautiful. It has a Middle Eastern vibe. The menu is very unique, which is always exciting for me to try. It has a great selection of drinks, some typical, but a lot not typical. The staff was friendly, helpful & inviting. Here is what I tried. Drinks: Qamaria Latte- Espresso, steamed milk, cardamom & cinnamon. Iced Banana Crumble- Matcha with sweet banana flavored milk and cold foam, topped with a wafer crumble Iced Mufawaar- Med roast coffee with the perfect balance of cardamom and cream. I do not like a lot of spice to my coffees or teas, but that is an individual preference. So for me the drinks were ok. The Mufawaar I liked the most out of the three. Food: Honeycomb- Honey-drizzled sweet bread, stuffed with cream cheese. Known as [Khalyet Al-Nahel] in Arabic. Rose Tres Leche- A delicate blend of fragrant rose and creamy tres leches, sweet, floral, and luxuriously smooth. Saffron Tres Leche- taste of Saffron and Tres Leche. The Honeycomb was my favorite item. The bread was soft, with cream cheese balls baked in each honeycomb bump on the bread. Ask for the honey on the side so you can decide the amount to out on. Out of the cakes the Saffron Tres Leche was my favorite. The Rose Tres Leche was good, but again an individual preference, I do not like floral taste in my foods, but some folks may. The one thing common about the cakes, they are moist and fluffy, not overly sweet, but the main taste stands out. The whip cream is perfectly down & not too sweet. With all this said I will be back to try more. They have a website that shows their menu.

We went here for coffee and snacks and we enjoyed our visit! I'll definitely be back. There's ample parking and seating! Lots of tables. My only complaint was me and my friend both thought that the rose cake didn't taste like rose, it just tasted like a tres leches cake. It was tasty nonetheless. I really liked my Qamaria latte and safeeha pastry!

New Fav coffee spot (5/5 stars) I'm so glad there's another cute coffee shop in North Concord. I've been overly excited to try everything on their menu, and I've already been coming here at least twice a week since I found it. Their coffees are amazing, with a special touch of Yemeni culture that makes each drink feel like both a beverage and an experience. This is such a beautiful place to sip your coffee, catch up with friends, or get some work or studying done. They have plenty of seating and large tables, which makes it perfect for spreading out and focusing. Honestly, this place has given me a reason to start studying again. The staff here are an absolute joy. They are so friendly, upbeat, and full of positive energy. I genuinely enjoy coming here and will definitely be a regular.

I was so excited to hear that a new location has opened in the East Bay. I have always raved about Qamaria's pistachio latte! Their pistachio paste is so delicious, you can actually taste the pistachios - perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweetness. I love to enjoy it iced. Definitely a must try! Service was fantastic, the staff are so kind and welcoming. The seating area is beautiful and relaxing. Great for groups and anyone needing to get some work/studying done. Looking forward to my next visit!

    Diem N.

Overall, we had an excellent experience. The customer service was amazing, the drinks were great, and everything was made with care. The milk cake was absolutely delicious and definitely one of my favorite desserts here. I truly loved everything about this café, especially the coffee. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it a wonderful place to spend time. I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a great café experience. I will definitely be coming back again.

    Kimberly R.

Very spacious inside with ample seating and games for kids to play. The drinks OMG! Very tasty and the beautiful dessert that are on display in the case look great. I've been there 2 times and haven't been disappointed. Starting with the Friendly/beautiful staff you definitely should come and taste something that you haven't had before.

The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking in front and behind the cafe. It was well decorated, with big windows, an open-air bar, and cafe merchandise for sale. There was also a bulletin board advertising other businesses, a bathroom, and wifi options. It was a bit warmer this day, but there was a big fan in the front providing some air to the space. There was also a free or paid wifi option depending on the bandwidth one would need. I ordered the iced chai latte with caramel syrup and almond milk, which was a bit pricey for nearly $10. However, I will say it was delicious and made quickly. Probably the coolest thing here though was the co-working space. The front of the cafe had plenty of seating for people to talk or work. There was a hallway leading to the back room that had larger tables for bigger groups, implying more of a co-working or quieter space. Definitely appealing for people wanting a third space - will be back!

What Happened to the Choco Bun?…read more Plenty of free parking. When you walk in, grab a tray and window shop all the pastries. They individually wrap these so grab what you want and place it on your tray. Once you're finished, cruise up to the counter. Would I Come Back? Yes, I keep coming back. I use to come back for the Choco Bun, but if they've changed the recipe at all locations, I'll only be coming back for the Milk Bun and Nougat. Their Signature Item: Egg tarts are their signature item. If you've ever been to an Asian party, someone almost always brings a box of egg tarts from 85-Degrees. But on today's visit. Well, just look at the photo. Someone stepped away from the oven for about 6 minutes too long. Choco Bun ($2.55, Grade D): The Choco Bun has been my absolute go-to for years--the closest location to me is usually the South Sacramento store and I tell everyone they have to get it whenever they visit an 85°C. Unfortunately, it's been about 8 months since my last trip, and the Choco Bun is no longer something to write home about. Milk Bun ($2.05, Grade A+): If you've ever had their Milk Bun with the custard filling, the Choco Bun used to be very similar in texture. Now, it's flat with super dry edges. Not good at all. Luckily, I also bought a Milk Bun (my usual second favorite), and by default, it's now my number one because the Choco Bun was a complete bust. It's so fluffy and sweet. Melts in your mouth. Strawberry Banana Smoothie / no boba ($5.85, Grade F): It was incredibly artificial-tasting--nothing real about it. I only made it through a quarter of it before throwing the rest into the garbage. My fault for hoping for a "just picked" fresh fruit taste, but this was honestly one of the worst smoothies I've ever had. Nougat ($9.60, Grade A+): The bagged Nougat candy is fantastic. It's soft, gooey, and packed with what I'm guessing are pieces of pistachio. Delicious, but a fair warning if you have dental issues: these will wreak havoc on your teeth. It's not quite as sticky as a Starburst, but it could definitely pull out a denture! Bottom Line: The staff here is friendly, and there are still a few standout 5-star items that make a visit worth it (the Milk Bun and the Nougat). However, the disappointing recipe change to the Choco Bun and the absolute miss on the smoothie knock this down to a 3-star experience overall.

And it's not like I am looking for free service, I'm willing to pay, but I'm not willing to pay cake prices for icing on Styrofoam. Saying no, as a business is OK, I'm all for it. But customer service needs a serious rebranding. I have never had a good in person/over the phone experience. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.
