It's cozy, beautiful, and really relaxing. Their banana matcha is my favorite, and the desserts are always so good. Everything feels thoughtful and different from the usual coffee shops around here. The staff was very attentive, too. I came with friends, and we ordered a few drinks and a couple of desserts to share. I had the Banana Matcha Latte, and this was really good. I asked for regular sweet, but it wasn't as sweet. I asked for a bit more sweetness, and the staff was happy to help. Once I got it back, it was perfect. My friend had the Mango Dragonfruit Refreshed, and this was a great drink. Perfect for summer, very refreshing. For dessert, we shared a Biscoff MilkCake with the texture of a tres leches cake. It was sweet but incredibly flavorful. It is a big piece and good to share. It pairs well with a drink that is not too sweet. We also ordered the Mango Cheesecake, which was a hit. Lots of flavor and delicious crust. We saw people ordering kettles of coffee and sharing with dessert. We agreed we want to come back and do this. The store has lots of space to hang out or study. Given the open space format and friendly customer service, it feels inviting. Recently picked up on Mufawaar and gained a strong liking for it. Had it hot at another location and finally tried iced on this visit. Foreign in flavor in comparison to my usual but absolutely love it! A new addition to the palette is a positive one. I finally stopped by this new Qamari Yemeni Cafe at the backside of Willows Park & Shop area. The Cafe is big and the decor is beautiful. It has a Middle Eastern vibe. The menu is very unique, which is always exciting for me to try. It has a great selection of drinks, some typical, but a lot not typical. The staff was friendly, helpful & inviting. Here is what I tried. Drinks: Qamaria Latte- Espresso, steamed milk, cardamom & cinnamon. Iced Banana Crumble- Matcha with sweet banana flavored milk and cold foam, topped with a wafer crumble Iced Mufawaar- Med roast coffee with the perfect balance of cardamom and cream. I do not like a lot of spice to my coffees or teas, but that is an individual preference. So for me the drinks were ok. The Mufawaar I liked the most out of the three. Food: Honeycomb- Honey-drizzled sweet bread, stuffed with cream cheese. Known as [Khalyet Al-Nahel] in Arabic. Rose Tres Leche- A delicate blend of fragrant rose and creamy tres leches, sweet, floral, and luxuriously smooth. Saffron Tres Leche- taste of Saffron and Tres Leche. The Honeycomb was my favorite item. The bread was soft, with cream cheese balls baked in each honeycomb bump on the bread. Ask for the honey on the side so you can decide the amount to out on. Out of the cakes the Saffron Tres Leche was my favorite. The Rose Tres Leche was good, but again an individual preference, I do not like floral taste in my foods, but some folks may. The one thing common about the cakes, they are moist and fluffy, not overly sweet, but the main taste stands out. The whip cream is perfectly down & not too sweet. I've been overly excited to try everything on their menu, and I've already been coming here at least twice a week since I found it. I was so excited to hear that a new location has opened in the East Bay. I have always raved about Qamaria's pistachio latte! Since discovering this place back in February, I've been coming here, regularly one to two times a week. I even put friends and family onto this place too and now they're fans. Service is always amazing with really friendly people working all the time. The interior is a proud display of Yemen culture and it's beautiful to see. They've always got music going too so the vibes be vibing. Their coffee/espresso tastes so rich and flavorful and can help you lock in when it's time to work. I've also tried the chai and idk what their blend is but it's life changing. Try it. And their refreshers are so damn refreshing as the name implies The fruit flavors hit--strong, real, and not watered down like a lot of big chain spots. My only complaint is that they need to label what food items have nuts in it. I ordered the mango cheesecake and the display window where you order does not say that it has pistachios in it. My boyfriend had a allergic reaction to it and I found out. there were nuts in the crust (aside from when he ate it) when I called to ask. The hospitality is what really sets it apart. The owners are very nice people and genuinely care about the experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and appreciated, not just like another customer. That kind of warmth is rare and makes a big difference. The space itself is another highlight. It is huge, bright, and comfortable, with plenty of room whether you are trying to get work done, meet with friends, or just sit and relax. It never feels cramped, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. They are also open late, usually until around 11 or 12, which is awesome and makes it one of the few spots in the area where you can hang out at night or get work done. This exactly the kind of place Concord was missing. It brings great energy to the area and gives people a spot that feels both productive and relaxing. I'm sorry but I have to keep it real here. I've been to the location in Fremont plenty of times and my wife and I love it. Our experience here at this location was not a good one. First off, our drink took basically 30-35 mins to make. We ordered an iced pistachio latte and an iced Adeni chai. It took forever. The barista at the bar seemed clueless about everything. She was pretty slow at the bar and holding up the line. As a matter of fact, I think the a few of the baristas were missing orders and kept analyzing the receipt orders coming in. My Adeni chai was unsweetened when I ordered it sweetened. Not to mention, the customer in front of me ordered a hot latte but the barista accidentally made it iced so instead of making the drink from scratch and fresh, we all saw her pour the drink into a metal cup to get it steamed.. that's ridiculous. I won't be coming back. I'm pretty disappointed with this location. I feel like even if this place was new or barely opened, the team should be a bit more prepared or apologetic about the orders and why things are taking long. No initiative from any of the employees or accountability. read more

Their interior is very nice inside and they offer an ample amount of comfortable seating with large tables and AC plug outlets. Perfect for getting some work done, or simply enjoying some great tasting coffee all while enjoying the sounds of modern day Arabic pop music. The service here is great as well. They are very friendly and I have seen them even bring out dishes to their customers and apologize for any extended wait times. I used to have one favorite coffee spot right around the corner to do my work, but this spot just may be my new go-to in town. Walked in about 8:10ish. Completely empty. Was greeted & helped right away. Ordered a HOT matcha latte. Waited at least 10 minutes. Was given an ICED matcha latte - if you could even call it that. Basically tasted like a cup of milk. I asked for more matcha, which they agreed to do. The woman that took my order confirmed that I asked for a hot matcha and explained that they had run out of their regular matcha and had to buy a different one - which meant, probably wasn't ceremonial grade like stated on the menu. While a gentleman was making my matcha he says out loud "I can just run and buy some more", which didn't make me confident that the matcha being used was of quality.. anyway, he made the drink, and served me a hot matcha. This was around 8:28ish already... I walk to my car, take a sip of my drink and of course.... Tastes like a hot cup of plain Ol' milk. LOL. Spent $8+ dollars for a hot cup of light green milk. The drinks and snacks are really good! The place is always packed which is a good thing but you will be waiting awhile for your drinks. Seen a few flaws with the service but to be expected they are somewhat new. I do think they should turn the music down though it is always blasting and it's loud in there already so no one can hear their names called out. Last strawberry matcha I got with cold foam was so disappointing. The thickest layer of strawberry purée at the bottom(tasted like smuckers jam to me) and like the matcha wasn't whisked enough where it just settled. And the cold foam just disappeared. It was barely green and so milky for an expensive drink.. I got the banana matcha my last visit and couldn't even taste the matcha the banana milk was so over powering.
