I wanted to grab a quick lunch and found this cafe/sandwich spot. It looks like a small business which I prefer over franchise establishments. I'm always looking for new small businesses to support, so I was rooting for a positive experience. I'm very picky when it comes to how my sandwich is prepared. I hate dry sandwiches! I ordered the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado and my husband got the hot pastrami sandwich. When we received our order, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the sandwiches. After taking my first bite, I got that mmmmm good feeling throughout my body! The sandwich was juicy, just how I like it. They have some kind of secret garlic sauce that they toss in with the lettuce, which was a nice touch and delicious!!!! It taste speciality made with love. I also tried my husband's pastrami sandwich and it was good too. I ended up ordering one to go for dinner because I'm greedy. The owner and staff were so attentive and welcoming to everyone coming in and out. It was extremely clean and comfortable. I also ordered the Apple Cinnamon cake, and it melted in my mouth. It was so good, with the right amount of sweetness. Another plus side is, there is parking in the back which was super convenient. Went here this morning with my bf! He ordered an iced latte and a roast beef sandwich. I ordered the apple almond blueberry coconut muffin and the pumpkin chocolate chip walnut cake. He really enjoyed the sandwich and loved the sauce that it came with however he said the iced latte could be better. The sandwich was okay and I'm not a coffee connoisseur so I can't tell what makes a good coffee or not but I did try both. The apple almond was my favorite however I really wanted to like the pumpkin chocolate chip walnut cake so bad but I didn't... there's herbs or something in it that I was not a fan of HOWEVER my bf likes the pumpkin cake more than the muffin. Stopped by for a car wash and walked over to Rosie's -- just 5 minutes away and super convenient. They've got a full coffee bar, pastries, and sandwiches. I ordered the hot pastrami on sourdough with onions and pepperoncini... and wow. It was loaded -- 1 lb 8 oz of perfectly seasoned pastrami. Definitely worth it. Service is excellent Ambiance nice not crowded when we were there. We had lots of questions since it was our first time here. The soup was good nice lemony flavor with chicken and rice. Sort of like a Greek soup. Sandwich I ordered a regular roast beef with the way it comes for me trying it as they suggest makes sense to me. However this time my only complaint was the soft roll. It seemed day old or two days old. Falling apart upon the first bite. They came over and asked so I let them know. So what can we say? At least this time I remembered to take pics before gobbling down the sandwiches. Again, I don't know how they do it, but they've perfected the combination of filling to bread to yumminess. And they're huge sandwiches. My daughter said the pastrami was so good it was like 'butter' melt in your mouth goodness. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Great combo of veggies and the Rosie sauce. I took pics of the inside this time while I waited. It's small but had a few tables with fresh flowers, stools, and a water station. Everything was super clean. The sandwich has a wonderful "Rosie sauce" that has no mayo but you can ask for some mayo to be spread on your bread if you want! Rosie's Hot Pastrami sandwich has a nice balance of pastrami and lettuce with the right amount of "Rosie sauce" . The Dutch Crunch bread goes great with the Hot Pastrami! Rosie's also offers a full selection of espresso drinks. They have both sweetened and unsweetened ice tea, the later you can ask to add your choice of different Italian Torani' flavos . Cute little spot that serves up a solid sandwich. We had a Pastrami Sandwich and a Roast Beef Sandwich. The Pastrami meat was flavorful and juicy. The dutch crunch bread held up well against the juices and the sauce that they used. Very good. The Roast Beef was pretty standard but made two meals for the wife! She wasn't thrilled with the soft roll but the overall sandwich was still tasty. Great customer service and the turn around from ordering at the counter to being handed two sandwiches was very reasonable. My friends got me a vegan sandwich (and passed the ordering for a vegan test). I was running an errand and my friends thoughtfully volunteered to get me a sandwich. It is called "vegan sandwich" that has a lot of veggies that make me smile. The test was when their sandwich maker asked if they wanted cheese. LOL. The pastrami sandwiches are Not, consisting of bulking -it-up by using an overly thick (not great) roll and then adding a small amount of cheap, low-end commercial "attempted-pastrami" that tastes nothing like how quality pastrami should actually taste. And while it's true that finding a quality pastrami sandwich in Norcal is difficult and nothing like the authentic offerings at Brendt's Deli in Northridge, CA or the Katz Deli in NYC, a lover of pastrami and other superior sandwiches will, unfortunately, not find them here. read more

We found this place on social media and WOW ! We found our spot! This place have great prices and huge portions AND is farm to table high quality ingredients. The food is so fresh. We've been waiting for a spot like Rosie's in this area for a long time, now we finally have it. Delicious food made with the finest ingredients + robust coffee drinks + bright, cozy ambiance + super friendly service = everyone's favorite cafe! My family's been here twice in the span of a week, and both times everything has been on point. Their menu will please both meat lovers and vegetarians, and everything is as fresh as can be. As for portion size, not one crumb was left on my wrapper yet I was 100% satisfied - the perfect size meal. When it comes to coffee, my daughter is the harshest critic, but she *loves* the drinks at Rosie's, which is really saying something, trust me. The cafe itself is super cute and sparkling clean, well-appointed with tables for 2 and 4, each with cute little bud vases of roses. This place a hidden gem people need to check this . The pastrami is lean not a lot of fat but it's made New York style without the fat . Their fresh Dutch crunch beard is sweet and very fresh snd good they a certain like garlic butter to the sandwich which sets it off into another dimension it's awesome. I really want locally owned businesses to succeed in our town. This one too, but I have to say that our experience at Rosie's today was an utter let down and we can not be convinced to waste our time nor money in trying them ever again. The parking lot is tiny, crowed and was the first turn off. We wanted to try them so bad that we left and circled the block and tried again and finally found a spot along the roadway to the lot. Ordering was odd as they don't have a wall menu at the counter but just some laminated sheets to choose from. We ordered an Italian and Hot Pastrami. 2 chips, two cans of soda with cups of ice and two sandwiches came to $47 plus tip!!! The chip selection was left to be desired. We were told the wait was 10 minutes. It's a small dining room and the tables are tight and very close to the window dining top. Too crowded. Even though the back of the house seemed to be full of people (perhaps not all employees as it appeared to have some children voices in the the mix) over 30 minutes and 7 songs later we were given a to go bag. We didn't order to go so the server offered to take our sandwiches back and place half of each in a basket to eat in house. Even that took a ridiculous amount of time. My pastrami was not hot, the roll was falling apart, the lettuce was wilting and drowning in their greasy garlic sauce and the cheese was not detected. It kept falling apart into an oily mush. I almost needed a fork to eat the sandwich. So disappointed! The Italian also had a mushy and oily roll even though my bf switched to Dutch Crunch. He didn't particularly like the taste of the ham as it overpowered the salami. We wished we ditched the numbered suggested sandwiches and customized ours as the veggies on the numbered sandwiches are very lettuce forward and not with the regular tomato, onion pickles etc. We know we could have added them but we felt rushed at the counter. The halves we had were super soggy and not appetizing whatsoever that I actually dread to eat my leftover half. I hate wasting, especially something that expensive. We'll probably just try to salvage the meat and try to make new sandwiches with the cheese, veggies and bread we have on hand. Also, the front door was propped open with a banner advertising them. Not sure if that is allowed as I did notice a couple wasps hovering inside. $50 for a disappointing and frustrating experience and equally disappointing and frustrating meal is highly insulting and we will not be returning. I have worked in several sandwich and food service establishments and I would be very ashamed if any of my customers had the experience we had today. It was baffling. read more

I ended up getting the house dressing on the Italian salad. I would recommend this place to anyone. The matcha is really good. I found this cute little woman-owned establishment through Yelp and found out it was a new business. This place is so adorable, the design and layout is so cozy and inviting. The staff is so sweet and very welcoming, they also helped us with what to order and recommended us try the pumpkin matcha. My friend and I got the dutch crunch bread with our own ingredients as well and everything was amazing. the portions were big enough to make two meals out of it. the matcha was so big.
