Very poor service. Never enough associates and lines are huge. Hard to understand associates. Refuse to do returns easily even with receipt as they have no interest to help customers. this place sucks! overall it is a typical longs drugs. but i'm really complaining about the pharmacy dept. never in my entire lifetime, which includes several other longs drugs, have i had SUCH bad service. i called this pharmacy several times and each time, i was put on hold for at least 3minutes, according to my cell phone timer. its ridiculous! and when i mean several times, i mean i called 5+ times. also, when i went to pick up my prescription. multiple people at the cash register at the pharmacy were rude to me. however, the cash register lady at the front of the store (not part of the pharmacy) was very nice! she even searched and found a coupon for me that allowed me the get my ssecond eyeliner for free! my goodness! how sweet! she's the reason that this place gets a star more than they deserve. this longs is fine if you're gonna run in and out to grab some snacks or whatever, BUT STAY AWAY FROM THE PHARMACY!!!! read more

If I could give the CVS pharmacy 0 stars, I would. I have many prescriptions that I have to get filled every month, so every month, I have to deal with the terrible customer service from the pharmacy. I normally wouldn't complain, but it has just been one too many times. I had a prescription that cost $50 dollars and when I handed them a $100 bill, I was told that I either had to pay with a debit card or wait 15 min for a manager to come. Another time, I decided not to get a prescription because it was simply too expensive. Instead of canceling it, the pharmacy kept using the automated machine to call and leave messages. So I call the pharmacy and ask them to remove it, instead of doing it, I got major attitude saying that it was my own fault since I did not want to pay for the prescription. Every time I go in, I'm met with pissed off, moody, arrogant pharmacists whose only goal is to make everyone they encounter pissed off and moody as well. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Rite Aid on Homestead and Foothill. read more

I went for the Passport photo service to this store. Had to wait for 10 minutes for the lady (Her name is Jo) to come out and attend. Not even a single smile if not "Sorry to keep you waiting". I enquired the price with her and she said every 2 copies is $10.99, for which I unfortunately said "Let me think". When I got back to confirm that I would go for it, she already went inside and this time it took 15-20 minutes for her to come. she abosultely had no time or mood to listen to me. she took a picture finally and didn't even had a courtesy to ask me if I liked it or should we take one more. she printed out a photo with chin so high, looked as if a wanted photo. I paid 5$ each for one 2*2 photo so with tax 22$ for 4 copies of a criminal photo. She is the worst I have ever seen. AVOID GOING HERE ESPECIALLY FOR PHOTO SERVICES. read more

This is mostly about all CVS stores. Beware the 20% FLU SHOT SHOPPING COUPON... The advertising has asterisks that restrictions apply. I asked beforehand and was told it could not be used for prescriptions or liquor, etc.: the usual restrictions. They did not show the actual coupon until AFTER I was committed. I then noticed the MAJOR restriction that all SALE ITEMS are not included. Nothing is worth buying at CVS unless it's on sale, so for me the coupon was mostly worthless. Non-sale items are usually cheaper, even half the price, normally at Safeway. Go there and get a 10% grocery discount with your flu shot instead. By the way, the coupon completely excludes sale items. You won't even get 20% off the full retail price of an item if it is currently on sale. It's also limited to $100 of items. read more

This is now the nearest Longs to my house since the one on Steven's Creek and Portal closed this past summer. I've noticed this Longs to be SUPER busy now, especially the pharmacy, since most of the business of the old Longs moved to this location. Every time I go into Longs, there is always a line to the pharmacy. Always. However, I can always get my prescriptions filled while shopping - usually done in about 20-25 minutes, so I guess the turnover is pretty fast. Also, I love that I can upload pictures through their website and pick them up in store. I always do the one hour prints and they've always been ready on time whether I order 20 pictures or 200 pictures. Sometimes they have sales on their prints, but I don't think their pictures are ever more than $.19/picture, which is pretty good! The store overall is pretty big - bigger than the old Longs. I think they recently remodeled their store in the past few years too. Lucky is right next door, so between both of these stores, you can pretty much get everything you're looking for right here! read more

Stay away from this CVS pharmacy! Worst CVS pharmacy in town, period! No wonder there are so many one star reviews for this location. Got in front of the pharmacy counter a minute before 6pm their closing time, and a unhappy female pharmacist told me sorry we are closed and you can come back tomorrow. I told her i arrived before 6pm, i need my medication, it is pouring rain out there, please do not close on me. "No, sorry, we are closed." Emotionless and stone cold. I asked for the supervisor and eventually he agreed to take me and assigned me to a different male pharmacist. Probably trying to side with and show support to his female co-worker, he has "unhappy" written all over his face and his attitude extremely rude. "Sorry I can't find your prescription." He said loudly and impatiently. Are you sure, can you check again, I asked him, I got a call from the pharmacy earlier telling me to pick up the medication. "No, nothing, and we are closed" he said with huge irritation. Wow, this is how CVS pharmacy treats its customers? The worst customer experience I have ever had in a pharmacy! Just wanted to say that I go into this CVS on occasion an everytime I go I have a great experience with whomever of the staff I speak with whether it's a pharmacy person or someone working in the primary part of the store. on more than one occasion I've come in an needed assistance finding something for a cold or my allergies and one of the managers "Josefina" had been on duty each time and greeted me with a bright smile an stopped what she was doing an took me back to the isle the medications were on an helped me locate what I was looking for an when I asked about a specific item she was able to answer my questions but also suggested I speak with one of the pharmacists when I asked if there was something better than I had asked for an then offered to walk me back to the pharmacy to speak with them. When I'm ready to go to checkout I noticed she an the other staff are always courteous an friendly to the other customers in line, IF there's a line. I used to work in retail an don't usually do reviews but felt due to the excellent service I received I should take the time an write one an after reading some of the negative reviews I just wanted to share my experience. As I said I used to work in retail an found that a lot of the time the people that write negative reviews ( I knew who they were) tend to be the type of people that are hard to please in general an almost seem to go out of their way to find something to complain about or make workers or other customers for that matter uncomfortable when the world doesn't revolve around them, so to speak. So again thank you to Josefina and her staff for their excellent service an for those of you who read reviews an have great experiences whether at CVS or other merchants please take the time to write a review so there is a realistic representative of the store. Having been in retail I know for every unhappy customer there are a hundred customers that are happy but just go on with their day not thinking about writing a review. I suggest don't go to this store, find another one with better service. This store was good when it's Longs Drug. Since I live very close to this CVS, even their service is not good, my family still get all medicine from them. Two week ago, I found my medicine looks different, I went back to ask why, they said the one from Greenstone factory is out of stock, I said I have to take the one from Greenstone otherwise won't work well. They ask me try few days but end up my blood pressure can't be controlled by this one, I went back again to ask transfer prescription to another store, they said we order for you, you can pick up on Wed., so I wait until Wed., they called me to tell me the medicine is not in still, my body can't afford any more, my blood pressure is over 140 all the time. Eventually I asked them transfer my prescription to KML, a small local drug store, even my insurance doesn't pay for it, KML only charged me $10 for 30 days supply while CVS asked around $50. Super friendly staffs at pharmacy, easy to communicate with and are very willing to provide advice when solicited. When filling a prescription and asked to wait, I seldom had to wait for more than 15 minutes. They are also good in contacting doctors' offices when refills are needed. Very convenience location that's close to everything, I could easily run my errands when going to fill my prescriptions there. read more

This pharmacy was good when it was Long's. Now it is horrible. They constantly make mistakes, and many of the people in the pharmacy can't seem to communicate well in English. It is especially awful when you try to speak with them on the phone...this is just plain dangerous. Prescriptions are not ready when they say that they will be, and they just shrug. This pharmacy sucks. They are very slow, incompetent, and it is a hassle to pick up more than one medication. My doctor had to prescribe me emergency medication (Klonopin) because I ran out since my appointment got canceled. He called the pharmacy at 2:00 saying this prescription was an emergency, and that it should be prepped within 30 minutes. Guess What, my medication was finally ready at six (they just had to give me 5 pills since my doctor gave me an appointment last minute), and that was after hassling with the CVS employees. They said they were "very busy", but when I went there was like 2 people in front of us. Their is only one cashier who is also a pharmacist, and she didn't even know the name of the prescription. I only come to this pharmacy because it is within walking distance. But now me and my family have decided to switch pharmacies. The only competent person their is Doctor Sanjay who actually understands the medications being provided; he is also very efficient and understands a customers needs. Unfortunately, the other pharmacists who are all ladies just sit in the back gossiping while their is just one cashier handling the line and their are prescriptions to be filled. I'm the only person at the pharmacy, I walk up to the counter and the staff ignores me as they keep typing away on their computers. Finally a clerk walks up to me and I have to give her my last name four times, mind you I've been at this place multiple times. I finally hand her my insurance card so she gets my last name. At this point she keeps typing away for what seems to be an eternity, until I ask her what she's doing. (I'm here just for a flu shot). She has a blank expression and is annoyed, she says she's processing the information and says it will be 15 minutes before they page me.... They page me and tell me to go wait at the chair. I wait at the chair but nobody comes by (the pharmacist keeps typing away on her computer), until I ask again why nobody is coming to get me. This CVS drives me nuts. They keep calling every month, and keep auto-refilling my prescriptions, even though I told them many times to stop both. Took a lot of effort to get them to remove my phone number, but apparently they saved it somewhere else, and I was still getting calls. Then when I picked up my prescription, they told me the system won't let me pick up my prescriptions until I give them a phone number! This one is close to work, so I tolerated it for years for convenience. But enough is enough. I'm swtiching to Walgreens who never gave me any problems like this. read more

This store sucks. I was checking out at the counter. I wanted to use the coupon refund for my next item. But the clerk said that would count as two transactions, I had to go back to the end of line for another check-out. This never happened before(at CVS or other stores). So I went to Saratoga CVS to buy exactly the same things. This time I had no trouble at all. They said they never heard of a company's policy like that. I called this store's manager, Ruth, for an explanation. Not only she was non-apologetic, she also said "why don't you keep shopping at Saratoga?". So much for their customer service! Can I give 0 stars? This pharmacy is awful. They never fill a prescription until you show up, no matter how long you give them. They are nice people, but they are unable to accurately or timely fill a prescription. Which really should criteria for getting the job. The lines are long, the waits are longer. They will tell you it will be ready in 15 minutes, but its always an hour or longer. Buyer beware, check your prescriptions closely. I had to go back twice one day because they have a knack for getting everything wrong. Plan on spending a large piece of your day waiting around for them. Find another pharmacy. Went in with my wife to pick up her prescription. It was about 45 minutes before the pharmacy would close. Signs everywhere encouraging folks to get their flu shots, so I asked if I could get one. The clerk told me sure, need to fill some stuff out, then they'll ring it up. Few minutes later, a pharmacy tech tells me "Sorry, no more flu shots today, you should come back tomorrow, it will be easier." Easier for who?? Fat chance I'm going back there! There is a female pharmacist (initials M.K.) who does NOT want to do her job. Since mistakes at this pharmacy have happened before, I take precaution to compare what I'm picking up (drug, dosage, side effects, etc) to what the physician has prescribed. This particular pharmacist is rude, impatient, and acts as if she has better things to do than to counsel you on your new prescription. There were no other customers at the pharmacy; she just wanted to get back to chatting/laughing with the cashier working there. I have been using this pharmacy for many years. They used to be good, but now they have problems with just about every prescription. Today was the last straw for me, they told me I had no refills on a prescription and had me authorize them to contact my doctor, when in-fact, they had a new prescription with refills already in their system. It seems like their pharmacy has become very disorganized and they have wasted my time as well as caused me unnecessary expense. My advice is to try another pharmacy. read more

I know this store is under construction and is trying their best to stay open during it but going to this CVS is not worth it. I will probably never return to this CVS ever again. Yesterday, Sunday June 2, 2014, my mother and I were running around to different CVS's to try to find this key ring. The manager working was quiet helpful, and so was the other associate helping us out. As soon as we got to the cashier we walk up to her texting with her phone out. Not professional at all. She does not say hello or anything. Not professional. When my mom was trying to remember the phone number for CVS she was trying to rush my mom and was getting rude. So I had said to her "You don't have to be so rude" and left right after that because I was so disgusted with someones attitude. If you can not work with people professionally then you should not work there. I do apologize for going down to her low level, I could have handled that a lot better but she put me in that position. I came to pick up my prescriptions that i dropped off 3 days ago (no one from CVS called me at all but i decided to come in anyway), i waited in line for a while patiently, here come my turn, and they don't have any records of my prescriptions at all! great, it got lost! and the phamacy's manager (Singh)could not find my prescription but instead of being honest with me, she asked if they were over counter drugs? i said no they were not, then she asked if i remember the names of the medicine, i said i do not remember, then she asked what are these medicines are for. At this point, i got a little upset and told her why did you asked me all these questions, did you lose my prescriptions? then Singh said for me to calm down and she ask me to call my doctor for a new prescription to be faxed to her! why i am being questioned and then do all the work and all she did was ask stupid questions and tell me to calm down? she don't even apologize for all my trouble, I had wasted at least 45 minutes at the store for nothing, of course now i have to wait another few days for the meds to be ordered. what if these are the medications that i really don't have a week to wait? When it was Longs, staffs were so much nicer and professional. De Anza CVS is so poor in customer service! I later transfered most of my refills to Target, and I rarely go to CVS anymore! read more

This pharmacy STINKS! The ONLY TIME I have had good service is when Sanjay has helped me. The rest of the time these people are the most inefficient, incapable people I've EVER encountered behind a pharmacy counter!!! My prescriptions are supposedly on "automatic" refill every 90 days...that never happens!!! I am unfortunately stuck with CVS as they are the contracted prescription provider for my husbands health insurance plan but I am not stuck with this location! This pharmacy was once Sav-On and then Longs Drugs...the pharmacists and staff under these incarnations KNEW their customers and treated them with concern and courtesy...I have to believe that neither of these matter to either the store manager or CVS corporate. We actually had much better service for our prescription needs when we were with Express Scripts as our provider...and they are mail order! Count me gone from this store and lobbying my husbands company to change prescription providers! read more

OK! 1st let me say that i was raised going to this longs . my grandma is a long time resident in cupertino. The faces have always been friendly and i was always been addressed by name which made my family and i feel that this place was a second home! Till now there are new management which are so unhelpfull and friendly. my grandmother and i was in the store shopping and i asked a young man for a product that was in the ad, there was a tall man bald wearing a white shirt who was standing in the door way to go to the warehouse he spoke firmly and interupted the kid of helping me and told him to do something. The young kid acted scared and said with his head down i was helping a customer find a product. as the kid passed him in the doors i heard the man say very firmly with out care say "Just go back there wait a few mins and tell them we dont have it! We have more important stuff todo! and he yeld HURRY UP! The young man came back and i told him that i heard what that man said. I then asked WHO WAS THAT MAN! the kid said his name was PETER he STORE MANAGER! my family and i have since have took all our buisness to WALGREENS!
