This CVS on pierce st is great! Even though they are Alway short staffed I never have to wait over 5 minutes! They work so hard and are always efficient in there job! I worked in the medical field for 25 years and pharmacy has Dr calls, faxed, web ex to fill as well as over 100 call in for new rx and refills top that with drop off and drive through rx and they do it all and are always understaffed! CVS give them a break! With all thi new, old, refills drive through! They exceed there limits and always with a great attitude! Give them a break! read more

So the pharmacy can be on the slow side, but it's probably because they're constantly swamped with orders. This is a non-issue after the terrific customer service I received today! There was a typo on some photo cards I had printed and Karen went above and beyond to remedy it. Never gave me any attitude, and took her time to brainstorm possible solutions. Thanks again Karen! In addition to never, even having the script ready when they say they will, their prices are way high. I've had two recently, the last one was not covered by my plan. CVS wanted $87 for a 30 day supply. I got it at Costco for $17.50! That pays for membership with just one savings. There are some nice people working there, but I think it's poorly managed and they are not competitive. read more

Consistently poor customer service from the pharmacy department, especially those wearing the blue shirts. This lady refuse to lean out to hand me my meds in driver thru!! So impressed with their drive thru pharmacy, it's consistently slow and you wait forever for them to come greet you. If you're short handed you need to plan better!!! Poor management!!!! read more

I have never in my life felt so humiliated. I was shopping at the CVS store on135 Pierce in Daly City with my daughter and pushing my son in a stroller. We had been shopping for about 30 mins, My daughter in the makeup section with me son. The whole time she said the employees were looking at her the wrong way. I was walking around the entire store looking at everything. We finally made it to the cashier and paid for all the products we had chosen and it was weird how the cashier (Javin) was stalling us as if my credit card wasn't working. Once time passed my payment went through and as I was walking out of the store I was approached by two police officers stating that the employees had said that me and my daughter were suspicious of shoplifting. We were faulsey accused of a crime me nor my daughter committed. Thr police officers asked to search the baby stroller and they found nothing. They searched me and my 14 year old daughter and found nothing. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated. CVS employees racial profiled me and my daughter and they didn't even have the decency to apologize after they known they were wrong. They discriminated against me and my daughter and not a damn sorry from neither the employees or manager. read more

UPDATE!!!! This store is NEVER stocked. The workers (cashiers and managers ) are very helpful and friendly however, it's a small store and they don't carry much quantities of supplies as other stores since there's no warehouse. The CVS in San Francisco and San Bruno has more in stock. read more

I wanted to like this CVS because of its location and how it's new and well stocked and all, but an event that happened tonight left me as an unhappy customer with staff that didn't know how to resolve an issue. This store needs to have more training for their uneducated employees. Being new and being a new store is NOT an excuse for poor customer service. There should always be a resolution. Customers come first in all aspects of retail! I would not want to come back to this CVS if I cannot get the help I need. I will go to the one on Portola in SF because I know that they are knowledgable and accommodating from previous experience. The extra star, which I did not have to give is to for the cleanliness of the store, being well stocked and having a parking lot. My comment on the food selection at this store: 1.It does have a good stock of the basics.However,There were only four loaves of bread available.It would be nice if they could do better in this area at this store.Bread is necessary for sandwiches.I was pleased with what was in the cooler areas.Nice selection of dry goods as well. 2.I think the food quality of CVS is outstanding.The stock is very fresh and densely packed in! Nice job here. - 3.My mom loved the selection of beauty products here. 4.They go a nice job with quantity discounts on selected items. 5.Sergio the cashier was very helpful. 6.The people who shop here are awesomely friendly! 7.When I asked a woman in front of the store to check on our taxi,she was very accommodating,since I am one of a few that doesn't have a cell phone yet.After one taxi number was busy,she called another number for me.I had a list of phone numbers with me.When the dispatcher answered she said to her, "There is an elderly woman here(my mom)that needs a cab." It's a brand new CVS, so everything is neat and tidy. It's pretty small and the prices aren't that great. They were also playing Spanish music (maybe about 3 songs) while I was looking around, which is a first. This CVS won't take me away from Target. I would even say its lower than Walgreens. read more

I transferred all my prescriptions here out of frustration with another pharmacy who is over whelmed all the time, lines are ridiculous and the people don't even communicate properly with each other so they are on the same page, I clearly came here with a low expectation. It's seriously night and day. The staff is super friendly and kind your prescriptions get filled efficiently and if you do the back end work for getting your medication and not expect someone to just magically "take care of you" the process is simple. ROBERT, is usually the person I end up dealing with when I have to pick up or re-order my partners prescription. He's super nice, remembers my partners name when I come to the counter and always reminds me when We have 0 refills and need to call to get another prescription written. Nice new building, thus it is clean. Parking is good albeit a bit on the steep side when coming from Eastmoor. Never seen a parking where they reserve some stalls for eco-smart vehicles. VStaff relatively friendly and helpful. CVS is the only pharmacy and one of the few stores that sell those short plastic toothbrush covers which cover only the toothbrush head. read more

I get to the pharmacy while it's empty and am told to wait a minute....20 fucking minutes and a line later im told by this old lady to get in the back of a line? (Seeing that I was there this entire time she could've just helped me or told me sooner where I needed to be) Why can't this beezy just take this piece of paper and be on her way? Oh I know why cause she's busy walking around like she just took all those narcotics behind her....terrible customer service at the pharmacy, and one time I asked the manager if they had a bathroom and she was like "No, we use to but we have a safe back there now blag blah blah" and she kept rambling on why I couldn't use the bathroom ummm look it's a yes or no question....so can I empty out my bladder or nah? My all time favorite cvs to go to I love the location pretty close to home parking is easy never difficult finding a spot the store set up is very tidy and organized and I always find everything I need only issue I have is some of the cashiers are very pushy especially when your couponing they act like it's your fault you wanna save just cuz they have a line ! This is probably the nicest CVS I have ever stepped foot in. I was greeted by the cashier at the front when I first entered, and by pretty much every employee I came across during my visit. More than one offered their assistance to me, and one even was nice enough to grab a basket for my shopping convenience. Most of all this location is extremely clean and organized! Pretty spacious too, with a nice-sized lot out front. Keep up the good work, CVS! read more

Very clean and well stocked store. The staff is very friendly and professional! They even greet you when you come in. The ambiance is quiet and calm unlike the Walgreens in Westlake. I changed to this pharmacy recently. You won't encounter the hour waits of Walgreens or loud music. I hope this place doesn't change. read more

I am a frequent customer at this establishment and usually the customer service is very good. That being said, there is one woman who works here who has not only questioned my ID more than once during alcohol sales, but has also blatantly said to her coworker in front of me that "all of our regulars are alcoholics". I do not usually write reviews, however, I felt not only that she had a personal issue with me but that she was judging my purchases. When you work in retail, restaurants or any other customer service position, it is not your place to judge, let alone say it to your customer's face. I will definitely reduce my usage of this establishment. read more

After our local Walgreens branch continued to be unsure (this was going on for almost one month) if they'd have enough availability for the 4 strain flu shot we decided to enquire at this CVS pharmacy. The pharmacist clerk who answered the phone was amazingly helpful and friendly so we opted to go in. We were pleasantly surprised that the attending pharmacist was also extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. This was the case as well for the other attending pharmacist when we returned another day. So different from other pharmacies where the staff are standoffish and/or not helpful. Also the pharmacy is not hectic like it is at Walgreens so the wait time is short. Highly recommend this particular CVS branch for any pharmacy needs including vaccinations. FYI: Walgreens' flu shot prices are at least a few $$ higher than CVS. read more

I don't know who that have training there employees but alot of guys that work there really have no basic manners or customer service skills whatsoever.Paul was very short with me ,cut me off before i could answer and just left all my stuff for me to bag. I try to buy 6 bottles of wine, Micheal, the cashier was too busy entertaining his co-worker, and looking at her cell phone, during check out I found out the wines was more expensive than price on the shelf. The 4 stars are for Karen the supervisor, she was very helpful. She took her time to help me try to find what I was looking for. Although their store did not have it, the fact that she tried really matters. And I thought what she did was true customer service. However the pharmacy here, well the lady with orange hair and wearing glasses, was rude from the get. Asked me if I was doing drop off, and I said no I'm looking to see if you guys have something in particular, instead she gave me a rude look. (Mind, I asked politely and I know how it is with retail, and I deal with customers everyday) Then it was my turn for her to help me, showed her what I was looking for. She said "it's over the counter, you can look for it right there" mind you her ass was far from the the counter doing i don't know what the hell, and just pointing to me where it is, and said "yeah we don't have it here, all the diabetic stuff is over there" first of all, I'm shopping for my dog that is diabetic. This prescription was prescribed from my dogs veterinarian. And it clearly says to pick up at any Walgreens/CVS. Looking for this particular item is super overwhelming when someone who is an "expert" doesn't even want to help me. So of course I walk right to the front and asked for a manager, but they only had a supervisor on the clock which is okay. Told her what I dealt with and the fact that I just came from Walgreens and they were super rude, she obviously apologized and had offered her help. I really appreciate you Karen, thank you for that. Paul at Pierce/Sullivan CVS sucks shit!!! He provided poor customer service and unacceptable attitude. Not only was Paul rude, he clearly felt the need to embarrass the customer with a scene by saying " You can call costumer service and even talk to the company's president and I still won't honor your 30%." ......mind you the costumer had a legitimate mailed coupon and provided the email that showed where the coupon was received...clearly showing proof of the extracare account that existed but because the system had a glich of some sort and couldn't pull up the customer's acct. Paul refused to honor the coupon. He said nothing he could do but yet if I was at another CVS location a manager would tend to the matter of honoring this due to a system error on their end...its not the customer's fault they were having a problem of pulling up the account when the customer is showing two forms of proof that they have an established customer care account (email and mailed coupon under the customer's name). His demeanor on how he handle the situation was unprofessional and should not have a role where he has to deal with people. The 1 star is only because the store actually carried products I have a hard time finding elsewhere. Very professional, quickly resolved a few issues with my prescription, fast, no wait on the phone or at the store. The store crew just as personable and helpful as the pharmacy. worst service ever, do not go to this pharmacy!!! i went in 2days ago to get several prescriptions filled, the nice younger women stated they had 3 of them in stock and the other one would be tomorrow. she asked if i would like to get the 3 now or pick them all up tomorrow. since i didn't need them urgently, i said i would pick them up tomorrow. all good right? the next day came and got a text that said, that the 3 were ready, and for some reason the other one they still didn't have. no biggie, i thought i would give them another day. so now it's been 2days since i first drop off my script and now i need it. so i call the pharmacy and they say that my 4th prescription just came in and to give them a hour, so i show up at 400pm, 4hours after they said give me an hour. i planned on going thru the drive thru, but of course the drive thru is closed. so i go in after 20 min in line, a younger man helps me and says we have 3 of your prescriptions but the 4th is not ready i explain that i called 4 hours ago and thr lady said we have it give me an hour. he just shook head and said its not ready it will be 20 minutes, he asked do i want to wait or come back later. at first i was so pissed off that i said i would come back, then i found out thst i had to speak to a pharmacist anyway and while in line to talk to her i figured i might as well wait, so informed the younger man that i was going to wait since it had been 10min already, and he told me 20min. he then comes back in 5 min and tells me they dont have my prescription at all!! what the hell!! the younger man apparently didnt even check that they had it. so i was going to come back in an hour to give them more time, he would probably would have been off by then to find out that they didnt have it. what a cluster------spoke to pharmacist/manager sugar duclayan and ask her whats going on, i finally asked if they gave my meds to someone else and she admitted they did!!!! don't they put my name on it, how do they make a mistake like that, they are supposed to be professionals. do they check id's. does the person that got my medicine, have my personal info on the package?? sounds like hippa violation to me.. now I concerned that they have all my personal information on file!!! believe the yelp reviews about the pharmacy, this is the worst experience ever with a pharmacy will never go back. read more
