I want Long's Back... This CVS store is small, location is not great due to busy corner ( I often find myself driving a direction I don't want to go), but most of all it is impersonal with self-checkout and huge revolving pharmacy staff. I miss the Long's which used to be across the street until CVS bought Longs. I have more than once ordered a prescription refill well in advance only to arrive and have it not available. They always leave me annoying computerized phone message that it is time to reorder - could they not take the time to tell me my order is not avail. They are not friendly, have minimal stock and poor customer service and bad location.. The only plus -- why the 2 stars is that they have a drive thru window. read more

What delightful staff at this cvs! I've never met such genuinely happy and sweet cvs salespeople. I want to make this one my regular cvs stop place just because the staff here is so awesome. The two girls that checked me out were really sweet and seemed down to earth. read more

I think we can all admit to our own faults and I admit I tested out a lipstick on my hand that I 110% planned on purchasing. I guess it was a lapse in judgement. After being told not to do that for health reasons, I apologized and ensured the sales associate the one lipstick I poked on my hand would be purchased by me. I planned on continuing my shopping happily, albeit slightly embarrassed by my mistake. However, I was interrupted by the sales associate and manager continuing to admonish me and interrupting my happy morning shopping trip despite my continuous apologies and promises to decline such activity. I understand needing to let customers know about store policy, but I work in retail and I would never yell at a customer in that way continuously. Once a person tells you they understand your policies, that is generally when the interaction ends. You do not need to follow me shopping and continue to talk to me about safety in a loud tone, interrupting me when I try to talk. Mind you, not even five minutes later I find an open box cutter tucked between the Maybelline aisle. I come here every morning before I go to college and the employees are great, but the manager should learn how to talk to customers. Maybe we should all learn a little bit about safety and mistakes. read more

this review is for the pharmacy. I was in line and this blonde hair girl was so rude to the pharmacy staff and I couldn't understand why she was so angry. The people at this location work hard and always do a fine job for me. Some people just think they are better than other people I guess. My first thought is because the pharmacy staff is Asian and the blonde girl was white. Makes sense to me! Well it is a great store and I can always pick up the things I need when I go to see my mom. read more

I avoid this CVS pharmacy. They take FOREVER and are not not very friendly either. This morning, after taking my daughter to the ER at 3am and being there for 2 hours I tried to fill her prescriptions here because it was the only one open. They did not even have the flu medication-during flu season! So now I have to wait for another. CVS to open before my daughter can get medicine. On top of that, the chick in the pharmacy barely acknowledged our presence and carried on counting boxes. I was patient until she started to open a new box to count. Really?!? I asked her if the pharmacy was closed and got a snarky no in return. Then to find out they don't have the medicine and she was snippy about whether another CVS would have "How would I know?" UGH. At 2:30 am on December 24th I was forced to run out and find cleaning supplies after my son pulled an "Exorcist" and repainted all of his bedroom walls with vomit! I ran into this CVS and was looking for a mask and gloves and disinfectant. This store did not have any masks in stock but the manager ran all over the store looking on shelves to find an alternative. The young man who was on shift pulled her away to talk to her and before I knew it, they had gifted me with two masks of their own, used for employees. They were very helpful, sympathetic and genuinely nice! I was very grateful that they took the time to look around and try to find me an alternative. Great customer service!!!! read more

Horrible service ! My husband was trying to get a flu shot with me and after we went up and told them his name and date of birth the Asian lady was sooo monotone and had a idgaf attitude. Then she was like okay pay over there and totally brushed us off and then we waited and some guy I think his name was Brandon came up to us and said how can I help u and we said my husband needed a flu shot and he's like ok and walked away! Everyone here doesn't help the inside customers only drive thru! Wtf! So we walked out and we went to walgreens! I am now going to walgreens for my medications not cvs anymore. They just lost a customer. read more

Last night we had the most unfortunate experience here. The pharmacist Silvana West was extremely rude and overwhelmed last night although it appeared less busy than it has been during other evenings. The pharmacy, which seems routinely to be out of certain medications, did not have what we needed for my toddler. So Ms. West had me call a neighboring Walgreen's to ask the pharmacy if they had the medication. Apparently she was "too busy" to make the call herself. Seriously, I really only go this CVS because it is open 24 hrs., otherwise, I would just take my business somewhere else. If this is any indication of how unprofessional she was to ask to make the call myself, the pharmacist at the Walgreen's was also pretty aghast as well. I sincerely hope that CVS makes a full hearted effort to improve its customer relations. read more

What happened to this place? They used to be polite, competent, and efficient. The last 4 times we have been here, our prescriptions have not been ready as promised. Last time, my wife had to drive to the place 3 times. After her first trip, I called ahead to verify they had everything, and they assured me they did. They didn't. And another time, they gave my wife 20 pills instead of the indicated 60. So now I have to wonder if old man Gower is working in the back, and it will take someone dying from rat poison before these people get their act together. Something is broken here. read more

Do not have yourprescription sent here. I thought it would be convenient since it is so close to St jude urgent care. Nope. I'm told there will be a 45 min wait. Ok, they're busy. Unfortunately also too busy to be in any way polite. Made the mistake of telling the sweetie behind the counter that my Aetna card was one that had just renewed but all the info was the same. Nope says sweetie everything changes. Pretty sure it didn't and I'm the one who set up the health plan at my office. She tells me I need the new card, which if I had I would have presented it to begin with. So I ask her if they will be able to run the meds (I had 5 scrips ). She wasn't sure and she was much too busy to check. Picturing a 45 min wait only to be told they couldn't do it , I asked for my scrips back. Sweetie says they would need to transfer them and of course she was much too busy to do that. So I call the rx number on the card and explain the situation. Aetna says everything on the card is the same and target put through a rx a week ago with no issues. Yep, wish I'd gone to target but now I'm stuck at cvs. So I wait in line to let the dear thing know that the card was fine. She had me wait while she Checked something in the computer then let me know meds would be ready an hour from then. I reminded her that she had said they'd be ready a half hour before that. She says "it changed ". Well sure it did. So here's what could have happened. She could have simply called the same number I did to verify coverage. Took an entire 5 minutes. Or, when I did her job for her and came back with the results she could have thanked me and kept to the original time. I'm going to start calling st jude tomorrow and see if I can't get them to offer something other than this place. PS watch out for the sweetie her name is elva. read more

The pros, it's convenient to St. Jude. That's about it. The pharmacy is frequently understaffed, resulting is a long wait in the store or at the drive-through. Of course, I've also been in when they're not busy only to have to wait until all the personal conversations and inside jokes were wrapped up to be assisted. The techs frequently neglect to offer consultation with the pharmacist even when the RX clearly says counsel. My drugs allergies and current medications have to be updated because they seem to go missing from their system. I have gotten prescription information and called back with a follow up question only to receive contradictory information from another staff member. I recently noticed that my address had mysteriously been changed to a city I've never even lived in. Luckily, I take responsibility for my health and verify all information with my doctor. If you're relying on this pharmacy to spot potential drug interactions or allergies, good luck but like I said earlier, at least they're close to St. Jude. read more

Susan is awesome! She helped my 95 year old mother with a medical discount that had some problems! She made all the phone calls and made it happen. My mother kept changing her mind but Susan got us through! Someone else that works there took my mother's list of shopping items and knew to find the least expensive. Sunday was a very busy day but we still had outstanding service. Susan also faxed my mother's info. to another CVS near my house because I don't live in Fullerton. They should have a 10! read more

to be fair... the assistants here are great. they work hard. they are willing and trying to be helpful. Adeline the pharmacist is AWFUL. she is rude and short with people. she would admonish her team in front of people. they need to reorganize the core staff here especially being so close to an emergency room, and an urgent care. read more
