The young guy at the cash register told me I could get my prescription in 20-25 mins. So, I waited. After 30 minutes, I asked him how it was going, but he just said wait 12 more minutes. Finally, after an hour, a pharmacist saw me crying because I was so upset about waiting while feeling sick. She checked the outbox, and what do you know, my prescription was already there. The young guy never checked the outbox even though he knew I was waiting. Thanks to the doctor who filled my prescription quickly, even though the kid forgot to check on it, therefore wasting both of our times. read more

One of the staff, Leslie, was very helpful and kind on the phone. When I came in, (on an emergency run), she was gone, but the guy behind the counter (who's name I didn't get) who was working (?) the front counter had earbuds in (forget his name), early 20's with curly black hair, and gave the impression that serving me was interrupting his audio pleasure. Unsatisfactory. And when I asked where the restrooms were, I was informed "They didn't have any open to the public. We've had some trouble with people using it. We don't even have keys." I can't believe it; a major pharmacy chain that doesn't have a bathroom for it's customers? What is this, the Lower East Side of NYC??? This is in La Habra, in Orange County, CA , and an affluent neighborhood too! Man, I was flabbergasted. In my very long life, living in many different states and counties in the US, I have NEVER seen a pharmacy without bathroom access; I don't think it's even legal! Maybe the State Board of Pharmacy knows, because I'm certainly going to call them! So, kudos to Leslie (5 stars), but that CVS gets a zero stars. so overall two stars. I think the CVS pharmacy is a place that is trying to compete with many other pharmacies and stores. But what I do enjoy is getting coupons from their free rewards system. All you need to do is enter your name and also the phone number. I have noticed recently that less and less people are in the stores but they do have pretty good deals on vitamins and products that I use on the daily. That is why I like browsing around the CVS store. If your a makeup junkie and love to try out different brands they do sell many brands such as L'Oréal, NYC, Cover Girl and many more. Also sometimes they have deals on chips, sodas and ice cream!! Tip- You could also download the app to see the specials and deals every week, once they are released. Coupons and you can store a digital copy of your card on your phone to make it easier. read more

I use this Pharmacy for the convenience of it's location. The pharmacists & techs are professional & friendly. The other employees/cashiers seem to be bothered when asked questions or when they're needed at the register. They don't even say hello or acknowledge patrons. I'm not taking it personally because I've witnessed others being treated poorly for no apparent reason. One time I was waiting for several minutes for the 2 cashiers to stop talking so I could just buy a snack while I waited for a prescription to be filled. At least I had nowhere to be, but I can see why customers would just give up and leave. read more

Ive only been here twice and the customer service is the worst and it's not just from the all employees.its just from one named Ashley. The few time I've been here I've been unfortunate enough of having her ring me up. When I ask a simple question she just simply states she doesn't know. After she proceeded to charge me wrong and only noticed seconds later after leaving the store. When I came back and tried to call her attention. She proceeded to walk away to ignore me knowing she was wrong in the transaction. It want only took another employee called her attention stating that I was calling her m. Luckily the other employee helped but as she was helping Ashely stated that when ringing me up, my discount didn't show but still decided to charge me instead of correcting the price. Stopped in today to grab couple gift cards for friends and stood in line at the "Checkout line" where another guy seemed to be looking lost as well. He ended up putting his stuff down and walking out. A couple of the ladies saw him and I standing there but they went about their day because I guess it wasnt worth their time. I stepped over to the self checkout and proceeded, the machine flagged and loudly announced that help would be coming soon. Jennifer stopped by, who I actually remember was one of the ladies who didnt bother helping me and the dude who left.... She asked if I needed help (as the two gift cards are sitting on the machine) and I kinda laughed and said "apparently i do since the gift cards flagged it" and she just swiped her badge and the machine let me continue. I said "thank you" and she walked away saying "yeah" I'm so glad to see the machines in this place, can't wait for such rude staff to reconsider their life choices and how they treat people when machines replace their job. read more

I am giving 2 stars because the location is convenient, with ample parking. I have been going to this CVS for at least 6 years. There were change in staff both in the pharmacy section and the general section. The 2 pharmacists are the worst "image" for this location. They never smile nor say hello. When you ask them a question, they act like they are super bothered and no time for customers. I am sure they get tired just like every else, but certainly that is not the way to treat customers. read more

This was the most sad experience in my life. I'm a 23 year old single mom who had oral surgery about an hour prior to arriving to this CVS. As I arrived I was instantly racially profiled. I was given a prescription from my doctor who works at Western dental in Cudahy, unfortunately my doctor misspelled my prescription medication name so the pharmacist Marie (blonde hair) instantly reacted as if I was trying to obtain medication illegally. Curios I contacted my dental office To see if they would be able to fix the handwritten mistake. As I continued my doctor proceeded to contact The CVS pharmacy as they would normally to be able to prescribe me a new prescription with the correct name change. The pharmacist Marie then began to question why I was even in Fullerton, CA since my history shows I normally get my prescriptions sent to the CVS located In Inglewood. I then explained My mother's estate is in Los Angeles Ca so sometimes I will have my prescriptions sent there even though that is irrelevant. Marie then began to tell my doctor to send my prescription to the CVS in Inglewood cause that's where I usually go. My doctor then refused because He knows I've recently received a very painful surgery & that will be out of my convenience. Then Marie began to question where did I live & basically why was I in Fullerton. I was appalled and literally disgusted I was in so much pain and I trusted that CVS would be able to provide me with the upstanding service I normally receive when it comes to my health care. After Marie rudely walked away and refused to help. Grace ( black hair) processed to ask me why was I at this specific location & why was my prescription spelt wrong. During this time my doctor was still on the phone with me and willing to receive or call the pharmacy to further explain my needs. Grace then began to call the dentist office to receive the prescription once more but this time Grace decided to lie & say the Western dental Cudahy location was closed. But Grace failed to realize my Doctor was still on my cellphone and heard the lies and discrimination I was faced with. So upset my Doctor then called another CVS near by on Orangethrope this CVS was able to receive my Prescription and properly handle my health needs with care. They asked no question about my past CVS visits and did not discriminate against serving me either (CVS on Orangethrope & harbor). To end this it's very sad to say that racial discrimination is very real & it's sad that this is happened to me especially in health care at a Well known franchise like CVS it's very disappointing what Grace & Marie did today I was very disgusted and they treated Me like I wasn't human; instead of providing me with amazing healthcare services, they interrogated me and refused to service me because I normally shop in predominantly African American & Hispanic communities. Grace and Marie should be ashamed and so should CVS for this horrendous situation that I was faced with especially in a time of need. I suggest If you are a normal human, or an minority to never shop here or trust this CVS with your health care. You will be disappointed, discriminated, and overall saddened by the way they treat customers that they cannot relate too. read more

Do not try to use your roll of toilet paper they give you that they call a receipt with discounts on it. They make sure they put a for sale sign on everything so those discounts on your receipt cannot and will not be used. If you find something and want to use your discount they will tell you it's on sale Anyway and you cannot use your discount. Also the young guy working the cashier could care less he does not even understand why the customer may become upset and does not even care to check the aisle where there is no discount sticker on one of their products way and just goes by his cash register receipt. Perhaps, CVS should give better training and the corporate office should stop this nonsense of hanging a sticker on everything in the store so you cannot even really see the product it is a joke end it is ongoing as if everyone is oblivious to their tactics they use. Go to Walmart they're more useful and their products are about 50% less than the overpriced CVS read more

Is it possible to give 0 stars? Worst pharmacy with the absolute worst attending pharmacist ever: Tracy M Nguyen. It's unfortunate or fortunate that they have their employees wear badges. The pharmacist with the license had my 80+ year old grandma wait for over an hour for a pre-prescribed, pre-filled zoster vaccine that was waiting there. my review is a little late but like another reviewer said, haha "nothing to do tonight so I guess I'll review the local CVS". lol! the other reviews are spot on and also scathing... "how do you stay in business? there is a walmart across the street" This has been entertaining at least. The really crazy thing is that the CVS headquarters and super huge warehouse and office seems to be right next door to this location. It's a disgrace. read more

I ordered pictures via their app. I went to pick them up, and several of the photos I ordered were missing. My envelope also included photos from a wedding and honeymoon that weren't mine. I called the store and they said they would redo my order. About two weeks have gone by and I placed a second order for more pictures. I went in to pick them up today. Someone, who I believe was the manager was able to find the new order but not the old one that was supposed to have been reprinted. she asked me who I had spoken to and I don't remember. About this time, another woman comes up and also starts asking about the original photo order. She asked what day I ordered them. It was a couple of weeks ago so of course I don't remember. She starts looking through the app on my phone. They ask for my phone number so they can follow up which I write down. At about this time, I realize it's probably more trouble than it's worth and I just let them know that it's OK and never mind. As I started to leave the store, the second lady raises her voice to me and tells me that I gave her attitude when she was just trying to help. There were other people standing around so I was quite embarrassed. As I walked out the door I told her that I did not have an attitude and that I was a customer so she should be nicer. I will never go to that store again after being treated horribly by this woman. She should not have a job working with the public. read more

For a CVS that is right front of the CVS distribution center they are always out of items and I hope you don't need your prescription right away as you will wait for 1 to 3 hours to get it filled. No one seems to know how to check a fax machine and they are very rude to customers. Will be moving my prescriptions to Walmart or Rite Aid. read more

After today, I'm fed up with customer service at CVS. I use electronic and physical gift cards on occasion to help pay for my purchases. I am a frequent visitor to most of the CVS Pharmacies in my area and every time I present the gift cards to the checkout staff, I get lots of protests, no's, we don't accept those anymore, and other comments. Today I just left CVS and had an issue at checkout with the woman at the counter stringing along some story about 'we have fraud issues with e-gift cards on the phone'. Ummm...ok? I insisted on using what I paid for and we went back and forth for five or so minutes with a bunch of excuses about why they no longer take them. I was in CVS this weekend...I was not told this then. I come nearly every week for something. They should know me by now. I don't know what is going on here and I really am tired of it. read more

I've gone in with friends to purchase hair dye here and he has been rude to us on both occasions when all we were doing was browsing the hair dye section trying to decide on the best purchase. Went here thinking I would get my passport photos done because I needed them right away but I think that concept of urgency is lost to them. I came in the store waited a good 10 mins before they could even help me, they couldn't find the camera to take the picture then went ahead and forgot about me and started working the cash register and told me to come back at 6. The customer service at this CVS pharmacy was terrible. In my opinion, a pharmacy is unlike a restaurant where you can judge them on many factors such as food, cleanliness, etc...At a pharmacy, the staff's one and only job is really customer service. So I currently am waiting for my driver's license in the mail and I ask for a box of the Claritin D. The staff member helping me is this Indian woman (could be Sri Lankan or something like that I didn't ask), probably in her late 30's early 40's. She needs my ID so I hand her my valid passport. She taps on her touch screen monitor and a few seconds later says, it needs a driver's license. I explained the situation to her, she says, sorry, it needs a drivers license. I told her, I've used a passport in the past, not too long ago at a CVS. She touches the same spot I can tell and says, yeah sorry I need a driver's license. So, a little irritated, I say, it worked before though. Now I think it was my tone, which, yes, may have come off a little bit like I sounded annoyed, but still, I wasn't rude, I didn't shout, I didn't curse. I expected her to at least ask someone else or try to figure it out, but it was obvious she didn't like my tone and she just pretended to do God knows what, just keep tapping the same spot on the touch screen and repeating, sorry, nope, yeah sorry, it needs a drivers license, yeah, sorry, it doesn't work, sorry. Just complete unwillingness to help. I could see that I was getting nowhere with her and so instead of asking for a manager or raising a fuss, I just sarcastically said, it's OK NEVERMIND. I wanted to throw in a jab at how CVS should hire people with a little more tech savvy but what do you expect from a pharmacist but I let it go. I know the other employees heard the back and forth but no one offered to come help either. I drove to the CVS on Washington and they did it within 5 minutes and I walked out with my Claritin D. Just goes to show that as a consumer nowadays, you really have to watch your tone for fear of people getting their feelings hurt, and then you end up wasting time and gas because an employee didn't like the way your eyebrows scrunched when you spoke. read more
