Yuck! The entire place was covered in water damage. You could really smell it. The interior was dim and there were many missing ceiling tiles. The workers stood around and gossiped. I think some of the staff here needs a refresher on how to word things without coming off as offensive. Back story: I have been looking for high calorie protein drink options for my dad to try out as he's getting older and has lost some muscle mass. I saw that CVS carries these single Boost drinks which is awesome- that way he can try them before I buy in bulk. I looked online and this was the only store that carried them. I walked into the store yesterday and the app told me they were under the "health and wellness" section. I found Glucerna drinks in the medical section and Boost/Ensure with the protein drinks, but I wasn't finding these specific ones. There were two associates talking and I walked up to them and said, "Sorry to interrupt, I'm looking for a specific product" and showed them the product on my phone. One of them said, "Oh yeah, that's in the cancer section" and showed me where they were located and then went back to talking to the other associate. I picked up a handful of flavors and checked out (the cashier Dominic was really sweet). Here's the thing: I'm not someone who is easily offended at all, but really? She could have just as easily referred to it as the "medical needs" section or something to that effect. I didn't realize that CVS has a "cancer section". That comment has still stuck with me and I feel like it came off as insensitive. read more

horrible service. I have been filling prescriptions here for a few years and no major issues until today. My prescription is not covered by insurance and the past year or so I have paid a certain amount and today they said it was double the cost. I asked why and they gave me multiple false reasons.. so frustrated I asked to have my prescription transferred to Frys where I know the exact cost and she told me that would be a process and she wasn't sure how long it would take. She could care less that I needed my medication today and could care less my cost doubled in price for no reason. I won't come back here ever. read more

On my first visit this time around, the doctor was very kind and thoughtful and let me know at the beginning what I would be paying at the end of the visit. When I came back to get my TB test read, I had to sign in and one of the women there was trying to be helpful... she started reading the screen for me and then asking me what I wanted to answer (while I was trying to read it). A few minutes after, any offense was forgiven, but in that moment it made me feel dumb and like she thought I was dumb and that I couldn't figure things out for myself. So I just told her I could read and thanked her for trying to help. She said something about me doing it alone in a passive aggressive tone and walked away very quickly. I'm usually someone who is quiet unless I need to speak when I'm around new people, so that was how I was and I think she took that as me being slow or dumb. Overall it was a pretty good visit a false assumption. So, great place to go. I would probably go again if I had to, but I would recommend speaking up confidently from the start of any visit if you're a young adult. read more

The worst CVS, my prescriptions are never filled and ready until I'm literally waiting at the window. They need more staffing or something!!! My doctor had put in my prescription on Friday and I come on Monday afternoon and they tell me they don't have it? After I called in the morning multiple times waiting on hold for no one to pick up. Then after waiting 30 minutes she states they will get it in tomorrow and order it. This couldn't have been done Friday or Saturday when they received the order? read more

Today I went to this local CVS, I needed to buy some things but unfortunately I couldn't buy anything. From the moment my husband and I walked in the store manager Tabetha and her coworker were looking at us every chance they got and followed us around the store thinking we didn't know. There was no reason for these girls to treat us like that, we weren't doing anything wrong we were simply going to shop. All of a sudden, the store manager Tabetha comes up to us and tells my husband and I that we need to leave the store. Mind you, she was giving us no reason on why we needed to leave only that she was the manager and she could tell us to leave. I'm not sure if this girl Tabetha is racist or if she just judges anyone she feels the need to but I do believe people that do this should not work in customer service. I continue to ask for the store manager Tabethas name and she refuses to tell me so I try to see her name tag and she walks away and proceeds to call the cops on my husband and I. read more

I've been frequenting this pharmacy for at least 3 years, and I find this review is long overdue. I'd like the start by saying the pharmacists here are skilled and knowledgeable, even if they never remember who I am. The techs they have working here are another story, Not only are they not skilled, and not knowledgeable, they very obviously lack general customer service skills. I have two of my scripts set up on auto fill, every 90 days. For those of you not familiar with the auto fill concept, it's supposed to take the hassle out of refilling your drugs, with the pharmacy taking care of contacting your Dr and filling it on time. In the last 12 months, my auto fill has been messed up 3x, considering it only fills 4x a year, that's not really impressive. Each time it's been a different excuse, and each time I end up making multiple phone calls and trips to the pharmacy to get it straightened out. This last time, it took me 3 phone calls and 3 trips. The techs with whom I spoke to on the phone were rude and argumentative. After I gave up on calling and went in person, with a reasonable solution, Ada (the tech attempting to assist me) spent a solid 15 minutes arguing with me, insisting what I was asking for could not be done. Since this wasn't my first rodeo with Cvs, (I had them perform this request before), I knew I was being bs'd. While a line of angry people formed behind me, she got flustered and took a phone call. Apparently she decided she was no longer going to help me. One of the pharmacists stepped up to help the next person in line, and she told him to help me instead. I explained my plight to him, and he resolved it in less than 2 minutes. The moral of this story is if the techs don't know how to do, they will tell you it can't be done. They have no interest in actually helping you, and are not concerned with the lack of customer service they provide. On my last call, I informed the tech that I found her inability to provide a solution unacceptable, and her response was I can't change it....no admission of guilt, not even an apology, just pure attitude and contempt. So go ahead, mess up my prescription, catch an attitude with me and refuse to fix it. I'm sure that will work out for you in the long run. read more

This review is for the Minute Clinic inside CVS. At first we thought it wasn't open because the store is under construction but it's just tucked back in the corner and we met with the NP in a small office. The noise from the construction was a bit jarring(especially while sick and with a headache) but they are expanding the Minute Clinic area so I'm sure things will be better in the long run. I signed in and was seen within 30 minutes, the NP Marisa was very personable and nice. She truly cared how I was feeling and made sure she was familiar with my heath history. We were in and out in under an hour. The pharmacy is another story(but I don't want to reduce the minute clinic's rating based on an awful pharmacy experience). This is the perfect option for cold/flu or when you need a quick prescription, they get you in and out quickly and on your way to feeling better. read more

This pharmacy at CVS has always done and outstanding job on getting the prescriptions correct and getting them right on time, or sometimes even get them earlier your able to get it in the easiest way. And there has always been an employee that has been super super helpful and caring and kind named " Ashley Kelly". Ashley deserve a gift from her mangers or corporate of even if it was just a raise. My daughter purchased a phone charger at this location. The second time she used it, the charger caught on fire. She no longer had the receipt because she didn't intend to take it back. When she tried to return to get her money back, the manager accused her of not buying it at that location and refused to refund her money. They offered an exchange but she didn't want another one since she was worried another one would catch on fire. So in the future, be careful of those cheap colorful chargers. Also, not refunding a 17 year old a $6 item made you lose the mother of said 17 year old child from shopping at this location. read more

I got my flu shot here. It didn't hurt. They were very nice. No problem with the pharmacy. My warning is: Don't bother unless you are some high risk patient (or obviously listen to your doctors advice) because one month after my flu shot I got the flu anyway. I normally don't get a flu shot and I hadn't had the flu in eons. I'm starting to think it's just away for the pharmaceutical companies to play crapshoot! read more

Ok , so the minute clinic was amazing and fast . I don't really ever go to the doctors , this was my first time . It was amazing . I was sick boo, got a prescription and just had it emailed to the store pharmacy . They were extremely busy . Their tall blonde female clerk Marisa took the time to call my insurance company and find out numbers needed that weren't on my card. She went over and above . My frustration was handled with such care , time and Patience , it made the whole being sick part less of hassle . So thank you to the store and its staff. So I tried contacting customer service, but waiting on hold for one hour is not for me. I tried calling three different times, and I kept getting transferred. I went into this clinic two weeks ago due to a sore throat. The lady in there told me it was just allergies and a cold, and she recommended some over the counter medications. I asked her if she would make sure the medicines would be covered using my health savings account. She ensured me they would be. She also recommended an "over-the-counter" drug, Nasonex or Flonase, which is not over-the-counter. I went and picked up the medicine, and the pharmacist basically told me the minute clinic girl did not know what she was talking about. She told me I could go back over, but by that time, there was a line. In my world, time is money, and I wasted a bunch of time at this place. I left after an hour with nothing. And I still have symptoms, which is pretty inconvenient due to my profession. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. It's the closest pharmacy and its terrible every time. From not having flu shots at the "Minute" clinic to gross inefficiencies in insurance confirmation. There are always 4+ pharmacists standing around and always a wait, always some kind of problem. They are friendly but they have some issues to resolve. I hate coming here to bag on some place but when it's frustrating 5 of 5 times that I've been there, it's worth saying something. read more

I saw Joanie and she was so nice and made me feel as if I was actually important. Awful experience in the pharmacy today. I went in with two prescriptions for eye drops, emergency going on with my eye and I needed them pretty badly. The girl waiting on me was having some difficulty figuring out how to get all of the instructions typed in as one of the drops was a steroid drop. Then, she said she was having some difficulty calculating the amount to give me based on her bottle and on my prescription. All told, this was a 20 minute deal...that is not a stretch. Finally, she came back and said she did not have one of the prescriptions. I said, "I wish you had checked that before all of this other activity". I said I have to get these filled, I was very cordial throughout this conversation. She just slid my prescriptions back to me, no apology or anything at all. This review is for the Minute Clinic. I had such amazing service here. My primary care doctor did not clean my ears when diagnosed with an ear infection. When the pain persisted I came to the minute clinic to have it checked out again. The wait time was very minimal and she immediately was shocked that the ear wax wasn't cleared out as it prevented the medicine from getting into my ear. She cleaned my ears and even answered questions I had regarding migraines and my PCOS. She was so friendly and helpful and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She even called around to other CVS pharmacies to prescribe me some medicine to help with the pain. I was so impressed with the care and attention she gave me. I felt valued and not like I was being rushed. I will never be going back to my primary care doctor at Gilbert Center for family medicine and instead will be returning here and finding an OBGYN. You guys rock, I seriously am beyond impressed read more

I have had numerous bad experiences at this CVS but this one takes the cake. So I go to drop my prescription off at 4pm it takes them 10 minutes to even acknowledge I was at the drive thru. I drop it off they say it will be ready at 6pm. So at 6:45 I get my mom to watch my newborn baby so I can hurry and run over to pick it up.. I sit at the window at the drive thru for a good 15 min before the RUDE lady comes over to help me. I give her my name and she says its not ready. I was like "Oh you told me it would be ready at 6" and she says "we are running 5 hours behind" so I ask when it will be ready and she said she will send me a text. I was already annoyed because it wasnt ready when they had told me and she couldnt even at least say she was sorry?! But of course I understand things happen. BUT then I say it will be ready tonight though right? and she says probably not unless you come in and sit and wait for 30 min. I was so frustrated because Im in my pajamas with a newborn at home and need this prescription.. I mean if they were that behind then tell me when I drop it off so I can take it somewhere else. The lady never said sorry and was a complete you know what. I was so mad.. I went inside no bra and all and asked for the manager. The lady came out and was SO nice! She went back and got me my prescription in 5 min. But that is the last time I will ever use there pharamacy again. read more
