I just finished picking up a couple of things. My cashier, Artineh, was super nice. She greeted me when i walked in and was very nice when she rang me up. Some pointless Asian lady (who looked like she hadnt slept for 90 years) was also greeted by Artineh as she was ringing me up. Lady reaponded by giving her the dirtiest look. Sadly, this CVS is just that...sad. I'm not surprised that my experiences have mirrored the other reviewers. Slow lines, slow service, etc. Even though I live very close, I always plan my "five minute" trips to pick up my prescriptions or some other random items to take at least forty five minutes or more. I would've given this CVS one star if it was located more than four blocks away. The CVS on San Fernando is a little bit better. read more

i cant say i enjoy shopping at CVS. the lines are always long, and their prices are high. aside from the wait, the actual pharmacy was on point. understandably they deal with people that dont speak english or good english all day long. but i havent had a problem yet, and they are always so nice to me when im there. i never get good customer service at retail pharmacies. damn the prices! this location is always stocked up with everything i need, but it seems so much more expensive... because it is. i usually buy girl stuff when its on sale, which has been quite a few things recently, so at least i save that way. and i love how they carry salon products... but you do pay a high price for it. its a convenience store, what can you do? just be selective with what you purchase and do all your major shopping at walmart (and become one more bargain hunter that hurts the economy. dammit, walmart.) read more

Not my fave CVS, the one we usually end up going to. They're not all too coupon-savvy, but I haven't had any problems. Wish it was a little bit more well-stocked, cleaner and friendlier. Parking is never an issue though. read more

This place is run down, nothing is ever stocked - it always looks trashed. The line is always huge and there has never been more then 1-2 registers open, at most. Its ridiculous. I used CVS.com to try and get a digital photo printed, and everything went wrong. I uploaded and processed the print order via CVS.com and selected the CVS on York Blvd (4414 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041) for pick up. I received a confirmation email that the order was received and that it would be ready in about an hour and then no further communication. I went to the store a couple of hours later to pick up the photo and was told when I got there that the printers were broken and that I needed to reorder for pick up at another store. Would have been nice to get an email saying the order was not going to be processed! So then I went back online to CVS.com and reordered the same thing for pick up at CVS at 1122 E Broadway in Glendale. I received a confirmation email that it would be ready in about an hour. Then an hour later I received an email that the order was ready for pick up. Note, this order consisted of just one single 4x6 print. I drove to the store and when I got there they told me they did not have the print ready. Then the clerk fiddled around with the computer and told me that the order was in the system and that it was behind other orders and wouldn't be printed for another hour or so. This turned out to be a lie, as confirmed by a different clerk later, and only served to waste my time further. My order was not in their system at all. The second clerk (after the first one's shift ended and she left) advised that I use a USB drive and print it on demand using their other machines. So I went to my car and copied the image off my laptop and onto a USB drive and brought it back in. Put it into 3 different computers and none of them could read the drive. Then he suggested putting it on my phone and try that, but the computer couldn't read images of my iPhone (that approach seems to only work for Android). Then I found a different USB drive and tried the whole process over again with the same result. Then I tethered my laptop wifi to my phone and uploaded the order once again to CVS.com to see if they could get the order that way again. I waited another 10 minutes and the order never arrived in their system. At that point, I'd wasted another hour with these people, was extremely frustrated and fed up. I tried every possible way to use their service, but was an utter failure. I would never use CVS again for photo services. Their Kodak equipment is super obsolete and the clerk basically told me the company doesn't care and will not upgrade or fix problems, because even though it doesn't always work, sometimes it does. And for CVS, apparently, that's good enough! read more

This pharmacy doesn't deserve the 1 star. That said, you better know your medications well since they make many errors. For example, one RX I picked up had 2 different doses of the same medication in the bottle. When I returned it they had the nerve to ask me "did you mix up 2 bottles of pills?" Really? No, I'm smarted than your pharmacist and at least I know the difference between a 20 mg pill and a 10 mg pill thank you very much. Another time the pharmacist herself was speaking so loudly across the room to a customer discussing her medication/private information (violating HIPPA laws) it was decidedly embarrassing to witness. Is this place for real? Lines can be awful. I have waited up to at least 1/2 hour to get a medication. And for just ONE RX (which was a common antibiotic) I had to go in THREE DIFFERENT DAY AND WAIT 1/2 HOUR EACH TIME TO GET THE WHOLE THING!!!!!! Who friggin does that? I could give more stories, but who wants to hear more about the WORST pharmacy? There are 2 ladies there who are super nice (I'm a regular here until I switch to someplace professional)--the Indian lady, and the tiny Armenian young lady. Mary, on the other hand, is very unfriendly, acts like you are ruining her day, and has actually helped customers behind me (while she made me wait) who were Armenian like she is (I am obviously not Armenian). She has NO idea of what customer service is unless you are her nationality then she is very nice. Just today I went in and she was nice sweet and helpful to someone (again, Armenian) in front of me and then when I came along and said "hi!" she just looked at me as if to say "you again"? She barely answered my questions and tried to rush me off the counter. As usual she doesn't want to explain or help out and even once said CVS doesn't give out the large CVS cards anymore. How stupid does she think I am? Mary is beyond rude and clearly prejudiced against at least some caucasians. If CVS cared about their professionalism someone would be monitoring these awful reviews and bettering their relationship with the community. Would give zero stars if I could. Called pharmacy and put on hold for....wait for it....40 minutes!!!!! This is unconscionable!!!! This afternoon, I waited in line for 20-minutes with one other customer, while Tahnvir, the manager, and one of the clerks very, very slowly worked with two other customers. As we waited and waited, one of the customers at the register eventually went back for more items. As my wife was sitting in the hot sun in the parking lot, I finally asked Tahnvir if there wasn't another cashier......which was immediately nixed by the manager. I need to revise my low review left about 30 min ago. I said the parking was horrible and it was when I tried to park. I was in the store for about 30 min, I got good service and my rx was filled in about 5 min. When I came out to my car there were plenty of parking spaces. I think the Tae Kwa Do center is the cause of the congestion. I'm guessing their class ended around 2 pm and everyone left and there are now plenty of spaces. I think there are times during the day when the lot is packed. Timing is everything here. read more

I've been going to this CVS since it opened and have always been happy with the service, both in the retail area, and especially the pharmacy. The pharmacists, Angela and Elizabeth, are top-notch and are supported by an excellent, friendly staff, especially Silva. Never had to wait more than 20 minutes to get a prescription filled. Granted, sometimes the retail check out lines are long, but they move and the wait isn't as long as one would perceive. This is my "go-to" drug store. read more

a pretty standard CVS. the pharmacy is pretty quick with your prescriptions and i've found that if you have like one thing you want to buy they'll ring you up there which is nice because yhea, the normal checkout line is usually mindbogglingly long. i don't know if they'd ring you up if you had a giant cart full of stuff though, you might want to ask them. it also shares a lot with 8th wonder spa which has been having a lot of groupons lately so you could go there to kill some time if your prescription or whatever is taking a while. read more

This CVS isn't getting enough credit, so I thought I'd write a review with some positives. First, about a year and a half ago they didn't have any carts due to them being stolen. I spoke with management about it and about a month or two later they started carrying rolling shopping carts again. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, even when you call to inquire about something being in stock. The negatives are that the line tends to grow quickly but this could just be because it's the only CVS in south-mid Glendale. The missing star is for the fact that the store could be a little cleaner and more up to date. But as far as customer service goes, I think all of the staff and cashiers are extremely helpful and pleasant. read more

I played CALottery this morning at about 8am and I won $$$. I approached the Sales Clerk on duty to claim my prize, she checked the winning cards that I gave her. She printed the cash receipt and told me that they don't have enough money in the cash register. I was told to go back a couple of hours. I came back at 11am and told me again to go back later because they don't have enough cash. This is unfair, I need my money. I tried to get a prescription transferred to this pharmcy from another pharmacy. I spoke to Liz who was extremely unhelpful! The other pharmacy asked me to have Liz call them and she refused! I needed medication for my son who had Crohn's disease. I guess besides being a horrible employee she's not a mother or a very sympathetic person. read more

I just saved $65 on 4 prescriptions! I went to the hospital pharmacy first but CVS's prices are $65 better. Their service is excellent and they carry a wide range of non-Rx items as well. If I have to call in I get a real pharmacist and he/she gives me answers I can understand without attitude. It doesn't get any better. read more

I've been coming to this CVS for years. After several visits, I noticed something: if there was ever an issue with a customer about ANYTHING, there was this one guy working there who would handle it, and always to the customer's satisfaction. His name is Loris. I mean no matter what the issue was...if you needed to find something, ask Loris. If a fellow cashier had a question about something, ask Loris. If something was out of stock, find Loris and he'll get it for you. If the coupon I was trying to use didn't scan correctly...if the price at the register didn't match the shelf...if I didn't receive all the ExtraBucks I was supposed to...Loris, Loris, Loris to the rescue. This dude is simply amazing at his job of managing the store. So eventually, I began to look for Loris everytime I went in there. And if I didn't see him, I'd still shop, but admittedly, I'd be a little disappointed. So when CVS transferred him to another store, I was a little upset! So I asked about his new location...then I "followed" him to his new store. But they never let him work the floor at the other store, so I stopped seeing him. I was kinda hurt. For 8 months, I'd go into the other store, but I never saw him. Eventually I asked about him. By the time I inquired, his fellow associate told me that CVS was thinking of transferring him BACK to his original store! Sure enough, a few weeks later, I go into the original store (on Broadway) and there he was! I was overjoyed! I told him how much I had missed him & that I was very glad that he has returned to his first location. Now my beloved Loris is back, and all is right with the world. So for Loris being there alone, I give this Broadway location 5 stars. His attitude towards his job trickles down to the rest of the store & his fellow employees. It's always a good experience to shop there, especially if I see Loris. He's just awesome. read more
