This pharmacy is horrible. When there is a problem with a prescription they wait until you come in to inform you. When your sick making multiple trips or having an extra long way time is difficult. They also think it's ok to randomly change which birth control your on, again without asking you if it's ok. They have no respect for their patients, and are incompetent. read more

I just moved to Glendale from Sierra Madre this month and usually have had positive experiences with CVS; however, this one takes the cake. I only give this CVS one star because it's a huge store with a bigger selection than my old one in Hastings Ranch and it's within walking distance of my place. The clerk at the pick up window at the pharmacy is rude and impatient. I saw her in the bathroom and she didn't wash her hands; albeit there wasn't any soap. AVOID the bathroom at all costs. I never understand how women can be so nasty in public restrooms. I'd hate to see how their bathrooms are at home. I digress, even though you need a code to enter, the bathroom was filthy and unkept. Splatters of god-knows-what were all over the stalls, no soap and the paper towels were on the baby changing station (oh yeah, how sanitary is that?). I complained to the manager that it needed to be cleaned. I'll definitely be sending feedback to corporate. read more

The pharmacy here is the most frustrating pharmacy in the world. I've been with them for A YEAR and they have never once gotten my prescription to me right and on time the first time. Several times they have FORGOTTEN to call the doctor or notify me that there was a problem. The only reason I still use them is because I'm sure trying to get them to forward my prescriptions would the other half of my sanity that they have already taken. read more

This my go-to store for when I need something and everything else is closed or when I can't sleep and like to browse. They have a nice wine and spirits selection as well as a lot of fun seasonal items. This is a great place to find gifts or to find items for gift baskets believer it or not! While I may never have the patience to figure out their discount rewards program, there are decent occasional sales especially on cosmetics and over-the-counter medications. read more

I don't know why the reviews are so low, I've never had a bad experience here. I'm always greeted by a cashier upon entry. The pharmacists are always nice and friendly, and the pharmacy line has never been too bad when I've gone. Even on a Sunday when I couldn't find parking the line was okay. The checkout lines are a different story. They're always pretty long, but they move pretty steadily and the cashiers do their best to get everyone out. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I keep returning because it's so close to home but regret each and every single visit. I would rather drive an hour going elsewhere than spend a second here. You get a notification that your prescription is ready and everytime I go in, I wait in the pick up like and my prescription is never filled and ready. I love this CVS! Every time I walk in the door, they immediately greet me with a smile. There may be a line at times, but what I love is that the cashiers constantly acknowledge the customers in line and reassure them that they will be with them shortly. My favorite thing about this store is the pharmacy. They definitely know what they are doing and try their best to get medication filled as quickly as possible. They are willing to spend the time that it takes on the phone to get the medicine approved. Overall, this is a great place to shop! read more

This CVS is a disgrace to the city. I went in to the store at 7:15pm and not a single employee in sight. I needed to use the restroom before I left there was no one to direct me. When I gave my prescription to the pharmacist he said it would be abt 15 min. and they'll call my name when ready. I waited and waited. Finally after 30 min. I decided to get in line which was 5 people long by then. Another 15 min. later when it was my turn I discovered that my prescription was sitting right there in the ready basket! Came here to fill a prescription. The pharmacy staff was rude and spoke down to me. When Armine was trying to verify who I was in the system, instead of asking me to verify my address or date of birth, she starting reading information off the screen. For some reason, that seems like a violation of HIPAA as she hadn't yet determined who I was. The other pharmacist who checked me out, I believe it was Marti, was kind of insulting when she told me to enter my phone number. As I was waiting for the credit card screen to change so I could enter my number, she begins to speak to me like a child telling me I have to press the buttons to put in my number. The only reason i gave two stars is because the wait wasn't very long. Overall, I'm not really sure what the deal is with this location but I definitely won't be back here. If you have to find any product, you cant rely on any worker, they are extremely unhelpful and stupid, nobody knows anything, you have to walk around the whole store to find something. The pharmacy pick up line is always busy, the cashiers are slow and relaxed, usually they spend 10-15 min on each costumer to find the correct medicine on the shelf and to procees the card. they have problems all the time, the medicine is on wrong place, costumer's date of birth is wrong, the last name they have is not last name, but firstname. They are confused all the time, but nerve wracking relaxed at the same time. read more

This CVS store is usually where i have to go to get either prescriptions filled or i stop to get stationary paper or other things for my home and they usually have things pretty well stocked and organized here. The parking gets congested and as long as you stay away from here in the afternoons when all the junior high and high school kids get out of school then you shouldn't have a problem with the parking structure. They do need to open more cashier registers at times that is my only complaint here. read more

I recently moved to Glendale and rather than switch pharmacies, I thought it would be easiest to stick with CVS. I picked this particular one on Broadway because its closest to my apt. Bad move. The employees are rude. Beyond rude. And rub some salt in that wound, because they are incompetent to boot. There is no such thing as putting the customer first. Even when they are wrong and not seeing the forest for the trees, every single interaction I have had (in-person and by phone), has resulted in a pharmacy employee turning back to me and sarcastically asking me something. Such as - "Are you SURE this is your date of birth, because thats not what we have in our computer." Well, then, if your computer says differently, then I must have my own birthdayincorrect. Or, after I said, "Hi, I just called to have my Rx filled over the phone system with my Rx number. The recording said it was being worked on, but is not ready yet. Since I havent asked for it yet - why is it being worked on? Please take me off any automated refill system." To which I received the reply, "Your refill is NOT ready yet." This place deserves NO stars, but unfortunately, that is not an option. read more

Worst experience I every had! I got this pharmacy threw my health insurance. I dropped off my prescription this morning. I asked the pharmacist if I could pick it up this afternoon , he told me no problem. When I got that another pharmacist told me they have no record of my prescription on file. The first pharmacist forgot ( that's what he claims) that they were out of my medicine . Doesn't he know how to check the store computer to see what meds are in stock or not. Oh my gosh, if you need meds that you need to take asap or can't afford to miss in a couple of days, do not go to this pharmacy. All the years yelp has been in existence, I never had the urge to write a review until my recent experience with this pharmacy. The staff are so rude. They are not friendly at all and act like they hate their job and do not want to be there or deal with people. I get that the customers probably abuse them but that is probably largely because of the incompetence of their staff and their system. It seems as if they have some kind of language or cultural barrier that prevents them from communicating or understanding their customers well. You guys need serious training in customer service. The first three times I went to get meds, they've told me that they do not have it and blamed my doctor. I called the doctor's office only to find out that they faxed my medication the same day CVS faxed them the request. Why then was the medication request missing for three days? Finally, when the order was placed, every time I call to ask them if it was ready, the answer would be "give us a couple of hours." I gave them 6 HOURS last time and when I got there I was asked to come back the next day. This was insulin. Highly disgusting service. It took one week, four trips, and plenty of phone calls to CVS and the doctor just to get the meds. Good thing one week was alloted before the reserve ran out. read more

Using the kodak photo kiosk at this store is like pulling teeth. They didn't have ribbon for the in seconds printer and they also don't make double sided cards. After a number of awful experiences at the Rite Aid on Glendale Ave, my family switched to this CVS. It's not the fanciest or newest, but there's ample parking, an employee always greets me when I walk in, seems well stocked enough, the pharmacy line is not too bad, and the last two times my kids' pediatrician called in a prescription, I got a courtesy call that it was ready 20 minutes later. They have a system and it seems to work, which is way more than I can say for our last pharmacy. read more
