Disgusting pharmacy in all ways. The store is filthy. The shelves are bare, with very little stock of goods. When I was told by an AI robot to come in to pick up my necessary prescription I did so and was turned away because the "computers are down," wasting an hour of my time. When I called the following day to ask if the computers in this national chain were working, the pharmacist hung up on me. When I called back again, I asked if the store would deliver the prescription, the pharmacy manager told me I would be required to pay for the delivery. My receipt printed blank, I guess no ink in the printer, and the guys that work there could not be less interested in remedying the machine. I live for the printed coupons, (small pleasures), but these employees don't seem to care about extremely loyal customers. While I'm at it, the parking lot is filthy. I have been buying from CVS for over 20 years. They recently answer phone call using a computer answering system. I needed to speak with a pharmacist and the machine whould not put me through. It asked me multiple questions like my B-day date, am I calling about prescriptions and so forth. After 10 minutes I got fed up and continuely asked for a representative. the machine said it would put me through but instead sent me to a message center and said leave a message and we will call you back. I can't believe this terrible system. I went to the location, picked up my script and told them it would be the last time I have my doctor send them an order. I am disgusted with the way their phone system works. it's obvious they could care less. So I recommend to everyone find a small pharmacy that will treat you with respect and actually speak to you on the phone. I am done with CVS read more

Let's start with prices. CVS prices are a scam. You go to the store to pick-up an item you found on their website for $4.99 and then get charged over $7 in-store. Why? Because they're frauds. That particular store will have you waiting for ages at the check-out because they don't schedule enough people. You can use the self-checkout but it almost always hangs and calls for an attendant - who is the slow check-out person and the only one scheduled. The parking lot is awkward and always dirty. They have many items behind locked glass panels, which you wouldn't have to do if your prices weren't so ridiculous. And I don't know what they're paying the employees; but, considering their lack of class and overly casual demeanor, I'd say 'not much.' Lastly, but not least, aren't we all deserved of a receipt that's not over two feet long? I bought one item this time and receipt was short - thank goodness - but last time I was there for a prescription, the receipt was 27 inches long. I hate CVS. I just experienced yet another instance of racial profiling at a CVS location in Los Angeles, and I feel compelled to speak up. I stopped by this CVS because I had a dentist appointment just down the street. I was early, a bit hungry, and wanted to browse around to pass the time. As I was walking through the store, texting on my phone and casually looking at a few items, a staff member -- either white or Hispanic -- approached me from behind and asked if I needed help. I replied that I was just browsing. I genuinely wasn't looking for anything specific, though I had a couple of items in mind I might purchase. Within seconds of that interaction, I heard him call for security over the radio. Because this isn't the first time I've experienced something like this, I knew exactly what was happening. I continued shopping calmly, still unsettled, and eventually went to check out with the two items I chose. As I stood in line, another call came over the intercom: "Security to the front." No one ever came, but the message was clear -- my presence and my browsing were perceived as suspicious. Let me be clear: window shopping is not a crime. Walking around a store and browsing without grabbing something immediately is not suspicious behavior. It's normal. And yet, as a Black woman in Los Angeles, I continue to be treated as if I'm doing something wrong just by existing in certain spaces. This isn't just about one store employee -- it's a pattern I've seen too many times at CVS. I'm deeply disappointed and frankly, exhausted by this experience. For now, I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I cannot continue to support a business that consistently makes people like me feel unwelcome or presumed guilty simply for shopping. I can see why the ratings are low, yes it's dirty but it's not their fault, so much homeless in the area. I know a lot of items are locked up as well which can be stressing but again a lot of homeless. I can slowly see self check outs are the new thing at most places I miss the cashiers to be honest. I just had the worst experience at CVS on Vine. I wanted some toothpaste. I saw one behind a locked glass cabinet. A nice lady opened it for me. Then a bit later I found one - unlocked - that I preferred. I went to the counter to pay, and tried to give the man there the "behind the glass" toothpaste so it could be returned. Went there yesterday, during shopping I needed to go to restroom, so I went to front and asked Martha to buzz me in and she made me wait for several minutes for no reason and I almost pissed my pants. Me, in pain from my gallbladder and needing my medicine went against my better judgment and came here. My doctor sent over the medication twice to this location and for some reason they didn't receive it, but the pharmacy that's a little further away received it immediately? This is an overdue review I've been coming to this location since 2008. I've actually known all the staff here for quite some time and actually one of them passed away not so long ago I can't remember their name very extremely welcoming though and actually broke my heart when I found out the bad news. All the staff is very attentive and welcoming. Be warned there's a lot of Karen's that come into the store yes I said it. Imagine that I am the customer experiencing that. Imagine the people that work here I salute you.It is very clean is comparing to other ones I have gone around. Every time I've had gotten a product no-one opening Or stealing something . This CVS but I had it with another one where I wanna buy my hair dye and literally they stole the conditioner which was completely annoying. But that has nothing to do with the products that they sell here. Came here to drop off a prescription--The pharmacist here flat out told me she would not help me that she was only taking emergency antibiotic prescriptions. I said "great, thats exactly what this is." She then told me that she "couldn't read the handwriting and she would not call the Dr. to confirm"...so you literally won't do your job? Update on my review from 2017 saying, "I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews" - I get it, I finally get it!!!!! I rarely ever give bad reviews and do not take pleasure in doing so. As a matter of fact, it's been a long while since I posted any reviews at all. However, I'm always SO frustrated with this pharmacy, and I can't help but vent and warn others about this place. There is one pharmacy manager who's a doll (I forget her name), but she is the only one I can vouch for who does her job and does it well. She has gone above and beyond for me when the rest of the staff were slacking. First, don't try calling there because you will NEVER get an answer. As I type this out of frustration, I'm on minute 16 of my third call in the past hour. My last 8-minute wait was picked up and then immediately hung up on. They just don't do phone calls, I guess. While that's annoying, I've had bigger issues here on multiple occasions that were unacceptable. I won't get into it, but the pharmacy manager took care of me whenever it was brought to her attention. And picking up your meds that are "ready,"... I'd say about 90% of the time I go there, I'm in line for an average of 10-15 minutes. And there's only usually a few people in front of me, although there's also usually 5-6 people working... so although this may be in a convenient location, depending on where you live - I would avoid this place. read more

Three people ant three different registers. All three people had problems at the check stand. What's wrong with this picture? Part of it is probably the CVS electronic system, but the other part is the staff itself. The staff doesn't seem to care a lot about helping customers. I was at the self-check out and had a problem with my checkout. I pushed the "get assistance" button but assistance was nowhere to be found, even though two clerks at the register were about ten feet away. After waiting a few minutes I went and asked a floor clerk to help me, and she said she couldn't help me. Finally, one of the clerks headed my way only to completely ignore me and walk right on by. Really? How lame is that? She knew I needed help because on her way back she finally stopped and helped me. It's obvious they hate their jobs. Too bad they can't find employees are willing to help people and who realize that their customers are the reason they have a job. The store itself is nice. It's clean, well stocked and laid out well. There's also plenty of easy parking. Hopefully, they'll make some staff changes or get them some customer service training. read more

CVS is my closest pharmacy but I'm trying to switch to all delivery through my insurance (Ingenio/Blue Cross). Although they have 6 foot intervals clearly marked out on the floor for the pharmacy, they allow two patrons to check out a the same time, when the two registers are not more than 4 feet apart, which is clearly unsafe and not following Covid distancing protocol. It is not clear if they sanitize the register stylus between customers. I don't feel safe in the store. When I attempted to use their delivery service, I found the process to be ridiculously convoluted. I can't access it online from my desktop, I have to go the text and click on the link and then try to select delivery. I did it once, thought it was working, but continued to get texts for the same Rx. One Rx wasn't eligible for delivery, though I can get it from my online pharmacy. I find it hard to believe that they cannot figure out how to have a simple, user-friendly desktop and phone-based app to process delivery orders. read more

The pharmacy stuff is awful! I was using this pharmacy since it was open in 1999 and never got problems before but when they got a new manager everything changed to the doctor worse. I have a doctor prescribtion for my medicine signed on 6/4/18 but since then I was at the pharmacy more then 5 times to get my medicine but it was out of stock, they have to order it, the manager left earlier, the manager has to call my doctor, and finally the doctor didn't put in codes for my diagnoses!!! Wow! It past already more then two and half month and nothing done. Also, I spoke to the manager of the store and he promised me to call back on Monday but the week passed and he never called me back. Now I have to complain to the headquarters! The one manager I've met is great. The parking lot is nice. I know it's LA but how much broken glass does one lot really need? They seem to prefer you use self checkout. Never enough shopping carts or wheeled baskets. I've had a staff person ask me to surrender mine to someone else. I understand, but they really need more if they want people to buy only light bottles of shampoo and not more than a basket's worth of paper towels. They often put the store seal over the ingredients on lipsticks. Maybe it's the manufacturer's fault? The pharmacy needs work. They are always understaffed. And they don't always have medicines in stock. And they can't look up on their computer to see if another cvs has it. read more
