Proof the CVS on 800 Palm is an in network VA community Pharmacy.
    Vince F.

The Pharmacy doesn't listen to Veteran patients. According to the Veterans Affairs website, The CVS here in IB is an in network Pharmacy and there should be no copay. But when you hand them your VA Medical ID card, they say they don't accept it. The VA website says I don't have to pay a copay but I got charged $5 because they used my tricare retired insurance and not VA. I also printed out the instructions for the pharmacist to ensure billing will go through and they didn't even want to see it. I feel like this place can do better. I attached photos of the VA website and the instruction sheets so maybe someone can take a second to follow up and make sure that Vets are getting the services they earned. You're probably losing a lot of business to local competitors because you don't know how to bill the VA. I won't come back if I am getting charged a copay and the VA says I shouldn't pay one. If I'm wrong, prove it.

Went in to buy batteries, asked to use the bathroom. The lady couldn't give us any explanation as to why they were locked when we asked and proceeded to throw a hissy fit and be extremely childish and rude as she went to unlock it so I left because I'd rather have an accident than be treated like that by an employee (Rosy).

Seems like a newer building and it's very clean inside and out. Nice wide parking spaces (very important for the anti-door-ding crowd. Well stocked with easy to navigate aisles. Friendly helpful clerks. I also like how it's easy to see what is on sale with the labels they use. It's always a bonus when you can get inside, grab what you need, and check out using very little time. Because of course our time is valuable and we need it to do those other important tasks like surfing the web and responding to the wants and needs of all our electronic gadgets. So you see, in an indirect way, CVS helps us be the best tech gear servants we can be. If you happen to find yourself way down here along the coast and in need of something you ran out of or forgot to bring with you, this is a good stop.

Thank You CVS for your 24 hour business and fine arrangement of flowers/roses!_!

I can always count on CVS to be open and have flowers and roses for Valentines Day! I snuck out of the house to pick up the flowers at midnight. She'll see it at 5am when she gets ready for work! Thanks again CVS! I'll be back next year. Same time!

Knocked on the door to ask the employee a question he just came to the door and walked away

Store has a sign that literysays open 24/7 yet at 12 they have the gate locked and employees visibly in there stocking pretending not to see that there's about 3 others trying to come in. I don't know if they've changed their hours but there's signs all over the store that say 24/7 and they have the door closed

Great place forlast minute gift cards and card's

Stopped by on our way to the beach. What a nice surprise to find a well stocked well managed store like this. They actually have items that I have searching for at our local CVS so I bought them here. We needed a gift card and they have hundreds of choices. We asked for help and received perfect customer service from an employee. The check-out was fast and very friendly. Looks like moral is up here, which is pretty good and makes us want to shop here more often. I will remember this and come back again soon. They deserve 5 solid stars.

    Reads, Store Closed.

This store is advertised as 24 hours on the website and Google GPS. The sign with store hours on the outside reads 24 hours, one neon sign is lit up, one 3ft by 3ft lighted sign is lit up that reads 24 hours, and a large window sticker of at least 3 ft by 4ft reads 24 hours. Yet, a night employee has placed a printed out sign in the window, on more than one occasion that reads "Store Closed," including right now. It is 4:am - This is a huge issue. I'm sitting here having an allergic reaction, and need Benadryl! If the store refuses to open when advertised - what does corporate plan on doing about it? I don't know the store number, but the address is 800 Palm Ave, Imperial Beach California. This is NOT Okay!! I can see an employee in there. Are they just refusing to open up and do their job? This is false advertising and it is illegal!

Resting at the CVS after my bike ride from Coronado.

To be fair, I feel safe parking ny car here and there are parking spots available. I got tired of looking for parking for 45m during lunch hours. Its impossible to find one on orange or nearby. I might as well pay for parking. This parking is convenient and easy.

I was visiting Coronado and walking with a friend along Orange. Since it was summertime, it was…read morequite hot, and at one point, I needed to grab a cold bottle of water. Then, I happened upon Walgreens! I was delighted to find regular Walgreens prices right on Coronado, where I expected a cold bottle of water to be $5 or more. I ended up getting two large bottles for $3 using a Walgreens deal. I just used some W Cash Rewards that had been saved for quite some time, and now, when checking out, I have to start earning my W Cash Rewards from scratch again. I enjoy the occasional visit to Walgreens, where I typically see it as a good excuse to stock up on paper goods, such as Kleenex or facial tissues, which I often run out of at home. I found multiple options for brands, box sizes, ply count, and whether they were soft or had lotion on them. I do enjoy just walking around the store as you never know what you will find. While walking around this time, I noted that this store regularly keeps the aisles looking good and the items in stock, though I also saw employees restocking items and changing price tags in various aisles. When I was checking out, there was one person ahead of me, but the line moved quickly, and once I entered my phone number for my rewards program, my transaction went through quickly, too. The W Cash Rewards program is free to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons, where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why, when I happen to visit a Walgreens store, as it's so easy to shop there, and my experiences are often very pleasant. Though on Coronado, I would consider my visit to Walgreens to be a big success!!

I switched to this pharmacy about 6 months ago because they were able to get a hard-to-find…read moreprescription. The staff had always been super friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. About a month ago, when I was calling to get my monthly prescription, someone new answered their phone and when I asked if they had the medication available I got an immediate "No" there's a shortage blah blah blah. I know it's been super hard to get so I asked if they were able to check their supplier because every other time I called the person would always check their supplier's database and usually they had one they could get the order. Sometimes I'd have to wait a week or so which was fine but the person always checked the supplier first before just telling me no. This new person put me on hold and then came back a couple of seconds later and said it's not in stock and they don't know when it will be restocked. I was skeptical but I waited several days and then called back again, hoping to get a more knowledgeable person. Got the same person as the week before, and got the same standard reply, no, it's out of stock and we don't know when we'll get it in blah blah blah. I asked if they could check the supplier and the person put me on hold and came back and asked me if I was a regular customer there, I said yes, gave them my information and she verified I was a regular customer and then put me on hold again. She came back and then asked me if I get prescriptions at other pharmacies? I was confused and asked her to clarify. (thinking to myself why are you asking me this, are we dating, are we supposed to be exclusive, I certainly didn't get a ring or anything!) The girl asked me again if I get prescriptions filled elsewhere and what their information was so they could transfer my other prescriptions. At this point, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager got on and I explained that I was confused about why they were asking me if I got prescriptions filled at other pharmacies ( please note this prescription is not for a controlled substance so it's not like I am trying to get extra pills or medication, in fact, I was about 3 weeks overdue because the medication is hard to get due to a nationwide shortage). Anyway, the manager gives me the same standard response they are out of stock and don't know when they will get it in. So, I ask the same question I've asked for the past 6 months, could you check the supplier to see if they have it in stock? They didn't check and I got an immediate response of the same party line. Now I'm irritated and frustrated and explained I understand that the medication is hard to get but what was so great about their pharmacy was their customer service, which the past two times I called, had been severely lacking. The manager didn't seem to care and was uninterested in trying to even "hear" what I was saying or asking. She was just interested in having my other prescriptions transferred to their pharmacy. Needless to say, I will not be going back there again! As I said before up until January they had always been super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, I don't know if management changed but clearly something changed and it was not for the better.

Even when they do claim that they open at 9:00am, they are not open! They also have no hours listed on their door which makes this place super sketch. Their "will return" sign lists that they will re-open at 8:30am, but they don't. There is a lack of consistency for store hours which makes it very inconvenient for customers. They are also not open on the weekends. People are better off choosing a place like CVS rather than this place in Paradise Hills/National City/South Bay.

Not to mention the attitudes a lot of the employees have sucks. One thing i have to do besides leave this rating is call the corporate office. For some reason they like to fallow me and my family around the store. The last 4 times have been real bad. Im not sure why they fallow us. We look and act just like everyone else in the store. For some reason they harass my oldest daughter she's only 16 but every time she comes with me they follow her and stop following me there's no reason for it they like to profile people I guess. Today my daughter was waiting for fitting room but i was already late to where i had to be so i told her try the shirt on over her other shirt real quick to see if it fit so we could pay and go. That was a problem the woman literally said my daughter couldnt do that and called security, even though there was another woman doing it they said nothing to her. When i check out evrry single time they stand there and stand literally at the =bagging section and watch every move i make. Its very uncomfortable and on topof that we have never done anything to make them stalk us ever. They act like were a bunch of thiefs. We are the farthest thing from that. They should know we are not like that by now. But the harassment is getting worse. I will make a purposefull trip there again this week with camara in hand. Im goingbto record every thing. If need be i will open a claim for harassment and profiling. Ive already spoke to my lawyer. We are ready. This is for the store in general not the pharmacy.
