This review is for the Pharmacy and their staff! Specifically the date 4-13-2023 around 6pm i went in for a prescription i got from urgent care down the street The ETA of it being ready was a little after 8pm but i was in so much pain and far from where i live, i couldn't sit in my car for that long. i decided to go inside to see if there was any way they might be able to fill it sooner and i was okay with waiting in line as well (they had about 10 ppl in line) The gentleman at drop off let me know he'd do his best to have it filled the next 20 min and i got in line. It was apparent they were understaffed but they didn't let that affect their service to every person there. This gentleman that helped me that day and the wonderful (blonde) lady that was helping check people out at the computer made this experience a good one especially when i was in so much pain and discomfort. They let me suffer all day with a migraine while I waited for them to fill my migraine prescription. I went to the store after 6 hours and waited in line for 20 minutes with my head pounding. When I got to the front they had no answers for me and sent me to the drop off line. If they don't have the capacity to fill a prescription, why wouldn't they send you to another pharmacy instead of leaving you suffering for hours. read more

This place is literally a block away from me. So if I need something and don't feel like driving in traffic. I'll slap on my chucks, dickie shorts and depending on the weather if I need a shirt or a hoodie. Comon we in the sunny South Bay. There only a very short period of the year we need sweaters let alone jackets. Haha anyways it's a hop skip and way for me. Close and convenient I just failed to post my reviews and my check in...my bad! Long story short stores clean, employees are professional but the ancient machine take forever to ring up. I pick up my dad's medication for him. He's pretty much quit this CVS due to customer service, but a couple of times they've had a particular medication that his other pharmacy didn't so he's sent me there. The past two times I've dropped off a prescription for him, I was waited on by the same lady. Good grief... I realize people have bad days. I work in retail, I get it. But people are coming there for medicine to make them feel better; they shouldn't have to deal with somebody who acts like they'd rather be anywhere else and it's YOUR fault. The people I've picked up from are friendly and cheerful; there's a new kid in there I watched interact with a mom and her kids that had them all laughing. THAT's customer service. THAT's what makes people want to come back. So lady at the drop off counter, take a lesson. And take the stick out of your butt. read more

This place is a fricken joke and a half! My doctor called a prescription in for back pain, I had her call it into this pharmacy because it is closest to my house, as I recently moved, I don't normally have my prescriptions filled here, but I am in P A I N!. I called to see if the prescription was ready and they said "It's on hold because we don't have your insurance info"...well no shit Sherlock, I've never been there mofo! So I said "Ok I'm coming in to pick it up and I'm just wondering how long it will be before my prescription is ready?" This dude says, and I shit you not, "could be 5 minutes, could be 20 minutes"...oh ok that's fricken helpful, I say "thank you" and he says "sure"...because apparently "You're welcome" is above his pay grade. So I go in and there's like 5 people in line, two sitting in chairs, one checking out, etc, etc. I gi to the "drop off" window and wait for someone to acknowledge me...finally the pharmacist helps me, says it'll be 15 minutes...i grab a seat next to someone who has never used deodorant in their life, and I wait. Great experience so far...lol! After about 15 minutes the pharmacist calls my name over the loud speaker in the store, because walking 5 steps and saying "ma'am your prescription is ready" is above his paygrade. So then I have to go through the young dude that was so wonderfully helpful on the phone as he is also playing the part of the cashier...oh the joy of it all! He's dumber than a box of rocks. He has me verify my phone number, which is wrong, so I have to give him the correct number, then "accept" that they can text me when future prescriptions are ready (which there won't be cuz I'm never setting foot in this hell hole again), then I have to sign my name that I am picking up the prescription, then the next prompt on their menu of never ending bullshit questions is do I wanna donate to...fill in the charity here....then rude dude asks if I have any questions, I say yes because I don't know what the hell the doctor has prescribed me, so I'd like an explanation about the medication I've just been prescribed. So rude dude says "step to the right" he means his right, my left but whatever I've already lost 10 points on my IQ since I've been at this place so I go to the window that says "consultation." I look at my daughter and say "why didn't he just say If you'll step over here to the consultation window the pharmacist will be right with you?" My daughter says "I don't know, because he's stupid?" Lol...good times! As we're waiting another rude individual, a loud female pharmacy employee is on the phone with a person calling to see if their medication has been filled and the rude female must've asked them 7 times "what prescription are you looking for?" Each time she asks she gets louder and louder as if yelling the same question over and over is helping the sutuation, the rude female finally finishes interrogating the customer on the phone and then yells over to me and my daughter "did you guys have questions?"...no sweetheart we're just standing here at the consultation window because this is the only window we haven't been to yet, that's what i wanted to say but I just politely said "yes" she replied "someone will be with you"...ok well I hope so, duh. Finally the pharmacist does come over, he says is this prescription for you? Dude, you're the one that helped me at the drop off window when I came in and gave you my insurance card, have you forgotten me already? Were you just there? WTF! So he explains the medication and once again I'm asked "do you have any questions?" Yes, why is this place so fucked up? is what I wanted to say, but politely I replied "no" and 25-30 minutes later we're on our way outta there...I now need to call my doctor and request something for a migraine because these people have truly made the experience of picking up a pain medicine a real nightmare and now not only am I in pain, I now have a migraine and wanna puke. This place is tacky, unprofessional, rude and fucked up, so if you've read this entire review and still choose to go here don't say I didn't warn you! The award for Worst Experience at a Pharmacy goes to: CVS. I think the CVS stands for Customers Visiting Shit...but I'm not certain. read more

First let me just say I think everyone has their own of days and they deal with them differently. With that being said I have been a customer from day one and I have found myself really struggling to even use them at all for any business these days. It's not just the store, most of it steams from dealing with the pharmacy. They as a whole don't really have the best attitudes and they seem to have these issues often. This is for the Pharmacy. Short chubby lady that can lose more than a few pounds and could obviously smile a little more (not that it would help) needs more training in people interaction. I call to check on a prescription and she blurts out "no insurance info was provided" ok no big deal but ask me and I'll be more than happy to provide what's needed. Or even better did u follow up with the hospital that provided the prescription request and ask for the insurance info? I arrive stand in line same voice same woman "yes I can help you" I state my business "did u bring the insurance info?" Yes "ok stand in that line" the woman working the second line I am asked to stand in asks for help and the lo and behold the woman I am roasting in the review comes to "assist" me. After all that she didn't ask for my insurance info over the phone nor did she bother to check if what was needed was in stock which it wasn't. She just wasted my time and I had to be in her pitiful presence. Now I know work is stressful and I too can use a day off here and there but Jesus emit positive vibes and positive vibes come back and hey if u having a bad day don't take it out on someone just trying to pick up some medicine for their infant. Horrible customer service from mostly all the employees. Have used this pharmacy since my father got open heart surgery in September. It's been one mistake after another, no empathy at all even from the two pharmacists. There's one employee who takes the cake with the worst servíce and for some reason is the one who is always at the drop off desk (Jessica), she sent a request to the ER for a prescription knowing that thy do not renew prescriptions, what's worse is that it was prescribed by his Urologist at UCSD. This prescription nothing to do with the ER. She will not give me any prescription when I get her.. read more

I dropped off two prescriptions slips yesterday following a surgery. Upon receiving my medication at home I realized the pharmacy had missed one of the two prescriptions written on one rx pad. I called 15min to closing and they confirmed one had been missed. They said I can pick it up in the morning. I asked if it was okay for them to fill asap and my mother could get there before closing. She said that was fine. I was very surprised and grateful that they could fill my prescription in 15min. Medication I absolutely needed following my surgery. While Purchasing Items from a CVS Checkout Machine where there is a Center Lane For Exiting the Store... A woman ENTERS the store then walks up fairly close to me (the wrong way) with her hand in her purse. She stands with her back to me and begins talking with the Attending Clerk who Monitors the Machines. I already feel threatened. I continue to checkout though because of the distraction or whatever it was... The machine asks me to select a different payment type... well because of that I looked to the clerk for help and she swiped something then continued talking with whomever that woman was... So then, It gave me the same Error again. I asked the Clerk for help a second time... I shrugged this Other woman off from ACROSS the Room. I want the Clerk to help me with my Problem... AND SHE Immediately Copied my Shrug, and begins to Verbally ATTACK me. "Don't Shrug me!" "My SON would tear you apart for something like that" "Drink a Beer" "Your UGLY you Should Go Home and Take a SHOWER!" ... All i did was Shrug her with my arm quickly and she Unleashed a TYRANT of Verbal assaults. I Summarized her actions as she continued. "You are Threatening me." "I'm Trying to checkout" "I look at the machine and silently Motion raising my Hands; why IDK.... So..." "Okay Yeah." They ask me to leave the store... Which is Very Dumb... So today on August 11 I came into the CVS store to buy some Pedialyte. Unfortunately I was not able to use the restroom before I left my house and needed to use it when I showed up there. I requested to use the restroom and was ignored for 10 minutes. A gentleman passed me to go into the break room and I requested from him some help contacting somebody so the bathroom door can be open because they keep them locked. He replied to me that the girl in the front of the store would be coming in just a moment to unlock the door from me and went onto his lunch. After another five minutes of waiting I knocked on the door that I knew the gentleman was in and asked him if he can call the front or assist me because I really needed to use the restroom badly. He responded with it's my lunch break I do not need to help you right now. I stood there in shock for a moment and replied you've got to be kidding me it can literally take you 10 seconds to assist me he looked at me and did not move. Keep in mind this break room is in the same area as the restroom door and all he had to do was bring the key back with him and unlock the door for me to go to the restroom. After this I decided to go to the front of the store and ask the girl working in the front and she replied with the bathrooms are closed. I know this is untrue because somebody else had exited the bathroom however the door shut before I could enter. So I replied with is there a manager available for me to speak with her reply to me was that she was the manager. After a few moments of talking then she said she was not the manager that the manager was the guy on the break room and began to laugh. Just be warned this is a area that is known to have issues throughout its time and it is definitely represented in the CVS store. My apologies if my grammar is not perfect as I am voice texting this. In regards to this store it is my highest recommendation to avoid this place and go to a Walgreens or Rite Aid. There is zero professionalism in here and everything was a joke to them after sitting in that store and waiting for a extra 20 minutes while needing to use the restroom badly. To top it off I was there to be a customer and purchase items which I am glad I did not purchase at first because now they will go back on the shelves and I will never again go to a CVS. read more
