The CVS has the rudest people working at it at a consistent basis. I had a specific mascara that said it was in stock on their app, but couldn't find it. I went up to a woman's stocking the shelves and said excuse me the app shows this mascara is here but I can't find it, do you know where it's at? She took a full 15 seconds before she even acknowledged me, looked at it on my phone and just said "no". I turned around kind of in shock and said "wow, thank you for the help" and she could care less to even follow up. I will be avoiding the CVS going forward. read more

CVS DOESN'T SERVE - THEY ABUSE: the new AI chat bot answering the phone for refills is programmed to hang up on customers who request to leave a voice message for the pharmacist. THIS IS DELIBERATE! As a disabled senior citizen, this flies in the face of the ADA - Americans With Disabilities Act, which is Federal law. I must now drive to my CVS pharmacy (29995 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677) to merely speak to the pharmacist. To add insult to injury, Andrew (CVS store manager), was most happy to tell me the matter was out of his hands and he could do nothing. He chuckled and I think he was smiling. I've filed a complaint with CVS corporate and the matter has been escalated. I'm visiting the pharmacy on Monday and they will KNOW I've been there. If my Medicare part D prescription plan wasn't tied into Caremark thru SilverScript, I would transfer all my meds to Costco! I will be informing our union, National Association of Letter Carrriers, of this issue. I can't really say good things about this CVS. For whatever reason, I was in the area and stopped by. I figured it would be a routine visit but this CVS was really lame. The staff seemed really young and they had no idea what they were doing. Customer service was lacking but to be honest I think they are short-staffed. There is a huge box of free masks at the front in case you need a mask. I mean, there's no shortage since it seems the stockpile resides at this location. It's become to be very annoying regarding the CVS pharmacy on Alicia Parkway in Laguna Niguel, CA. Ive been going there for many years, and Im considering a switch of pharmacies. It use to be a smooth transaction. When I get on my app and request a refill, and it was done. Not anymore. There's always a little hair on the transaction. Also, when you call no one answers. They use to answer the phone. Now I have to drive down there. Also, they may not have a good relationship with Cigna insurance because its an issue when I needed a new Rx. I select the refill on my app, and the refill isnt there, or they don't refill it for some reason. The pharmacist had to call Cigna. I use to be able to call the pharmacy, but recently I had to drive to the pharmacy to get answers regarding my refills. You can't call, you have to drive down there in person. Also, they can't seem to get their refil system on track. I have my own phone number to refill, and my husband has it's own. Somehow after all these years, the system is not registering. read more

If I could choose zero stars I would. I have a prescription for my dog that I need to refill every 120 days. Without fail, this particular CVS pharmacy has offered the worst customer service -- versus Rite-Aid or Costco -- for the last 5 years. Today was the final and worst experience I have ever had at this CVS and, quite simply, just too much. I won't return to this CVS for anything. 20 days ago (03/31/22), I switched to a new veterinarian. In turn, I asked for a new prescription from the Vet and, that same day, dropped it off at this CVS. The pharmacist made clear "we have this new prescription and we will keep it on file for your dog; when you complete your existing prescription 20 days from now, please come in and we will provide the refill." Today -- 20 days later -- I showed up to get the refill, and the pharmacist gave 3 reasons for being unable to fill the prescription: (1) they couldn't find the prescription I dropped off on 3/31/22; (2) the vet is "not in the system;" and (3) "you are not in the system" (even though I last filled the prescription there 120 days previous and several times over the last 5 years). I asked the Vet to call, and CVS then claimed this type of refill could not be by paper prescription but instead "had to be submitted electronically only." The Vet called me back and said many of his clients had recently filled paper prescriptions there (even for narcotics) with no such "electronic only" requirement. He said he's seen this sort of thing happen there before -- they make up reasons to turn clients away when they are very busy. These pharmacists seem not to care at all that an animal could suffer seizures or more difficult circumstances without their medicines. Very sad considering they are supposed to be professionals, but on the other hand you can see the morale is so bad with the pharmacists and employees at this location that I guess you should come to expect terrible customer service here. I suppose I should have known better than to take the script here. I hope they turn it around, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. read more

The restroom was disgusting! Clearly hadn't been cleaned in over a month. Seriously, how do you go to work everyday and live in that filth! They should not allow customers to use that restroom, someone is going to get sick! The photos don't really show but it was bad. read more

Interesting as most CVS Pharmacy usually don't normally get a five stars rating, including the CVS where I lived in NV. However, I was out here visiting in CA and shopping inside this Target store when I saw this CVS Pharmacy inside and then I realized that I had some prescriptions that were ready to be refilled. However, I'm in CA and my pharmacy was in NV so I went up to the counter and spoke with this young lady named Senti who was very helpful and assured me that I could get my meds right there so she checked and sure enough not only did I have one ready but had several that were ready to be filled. In fact, my pharmacy back home was in the process of refilling them as we spoke, and she was able to contact them and filled them for me here instead. I have to say that I was not only happy but surprised that Senti went above and beyond to not only check but to contact my pharmacy and then filled my meds for me here instead since I would not be back home for a while still. My only regret now is that this was not my home pharmacy as I was so pleased and grateful for the way Senti helped me, and I only wished she was working at my home pharmacy in NV. If I could only give you an advice and that would be to have a little patience with the staff at your local pharmacy as most of them worked very hard and sometimes they're under a lot of pressure to have your prescriptions filled and ready, but maybe it's beyond their control as I have found quite a few times it turned out to that they are waiting for your doctor to okay your refills. read more

People working here are always helpful. Many times, if I can't find something, they will go out of their way and take me to the product I'm looking for and ask if I need help with anything else. The stockers are polite and will move everything out of the way so you can get to what you want. Workers will check on a price for you if there is a question about the cost of an item. For the most part, they are well stocked, however, get there early after the Sunday adds come out, because they do run out of stock occasionally on high demand items. The pharmacy can get backed up, so I try to go at times when it's less busy. They are good about filling your prescription and best to wait for it. I suggest you shop if you need other things while they fill your script. I'm also impressed with the phone service and how often they will call to let you know when your refill is ready. The cashiers are friendly and speedy at this store. They take coupons, are good at making sure you use your extra bucks rewards, and will ring up more than one transaction to save you the most. They are always happy to do it for you, that's what customer service is all about! read more

I called back some guy asserted and said hold, didn't even let me me say 1 word and now I've been on hold for 35 mins they won't answer my calls. I just moved back to Laguna Niguel from San Clemente. I needed to get my medication transferred and I have NEVER in my 49 years experienced a less helpful and courteous staff. I had NO voice as i have walking pneumonia. They refused to call the doctor or the previous pharmacy. "We would be on hold for 20 minutes you need to call" I have NO voice! They made me wait for 45 minutes I begged them to call and not until I broke down in tears did they do ONE thing to assist me. I will never recommend anyone to make this their home pharmacy. The WORST Pharmacy!!! Zoom, the Pharmacist, actually told my out of town guest she was too busy to fill her prescription. We weren't even in a hurry, so when she initially said she was too busy and it would be an hour, we said fine. My review is only for the curbside pickup. I ordered a few items and was quoted 1 hour to pickup my items. I ended up stopping by a couple hours later, expecting my purchase to be ready but was sadly disappointed. I waited by the register while a specific employee was called to handle the curbside pickup order. After 5 minutes of waiting, as people were coming and going, he shows up and starts ringing up people in line. After he was done he went around the store to grab the items I ordered. I could have done this! What is the point of ordering ahead to save time? I could have walked in, picked out my two items, paid and left in the time I was waiting for my "time-saving" curbside pickup. The employees are nice enough and the store is clean but this was truly a disappointing experience. I recommend just going in to get your things. read more

Do not go to this pharmacy location! Pharmacist is incompetent! She questioned and voided my wife's pain medication prescription because she was suspicious of me apparently and called to verify the prescription was legitimate. The doctors office said the doctor wasn't in that day so the prescription couldn't have been written that day. So rather than ask me she voided it! My wife's doctor sees her in our home due to her condition and fills her prescriptions then. Apparently the pharmacist has never heard of this and called the Sheriffs on me!! When she was proven to be an idiot she had to correct the whole debacle over her discrimination of me! Not to mention my wife has been getting this med for nearly a year. If the pharmacist had cared to investigate at all instead of assuming I'm a criminal she would of figured this out. We are currently looking into moving our several thousands of dollars in prescriptions to another pharmacy besides CVS. read more

I just had a tooth extraction and had to get antibiotics and pain killers and an oral rinse. I asked the pharmacist how long it would take to fill the prescription and he said 20 minutes. I said how long just to fill the antibiotics because I was in pain and I just wanted to get home. He said 10 min. I said just fill the antibiotics. Well 10 minutes later he had all four of my prescriptions ready!!! I was so grateful. Thanks go to all the staff at the Alicia CVS for showing that you care for your customers. read more

Just went to pick up my prescriptions and while the worker "Shannon" was checking me out she was telling her co worker that she can't wait to have the next two days off because she's sick. As a cancer patient with low immune system it's a little worrisome to come in close contact with people who are sick. I would think the pharmacists know that... why would you say that in front of me as I am picking up my chemo meds lol. Then she says to her co worker next to her that she can't handle her other co worker because "he is too soft".
