It'd be nice if this location answered their damn phones. My husband and I were both on separate phones on hold for 45 mins until we finally decided to just hang up and drive over there. I shouldn't have to drive to any location for a simple question about the status of my prescription. All we wanted to know was if it was even ready. Then when we got there their staff hadn't even ran it through my insurance and said Kevin advised that we had to pay $116 for my nausea medication. We advised the prescription was supposed to be free and he asked, "Who told us that?" We told him it's what the doctor prescribed it's covered under the insurance, did you even run it? I had to force Kevin to run it through my insurance and in the end it was FREE of course. I wonder how many people paid full price for their meds without even asking questions about if it was ran through their insurance or not. We asked for the manager and he claims that they're "short staffed" and that's why they weren't answering the phones. The manager didn't even seem to care about how this location is being managed. We couldn't remember his name but he's the worst. Seems like this CVS needs to fire their entire pharmacy staff and rehire otherwise they'll be losing a lot of business. I only came here because it's contracted with my new insurance but I am almost willing to just stick with Walgreens and pay full price from how terribly I've been treated at CVS. I called the Minute clinic number and was told only walk ins welcome. The website directed me to Sahara and Valley View. This location was not open for business and still under construction. I called again and was directed to Charleston and Decatur and where they had no openings available. I was once again sent to a 3rd location at Desert Inn and Ft Apache where they were also booked up. I tried scheduling an appointment but the site stated they were only accepting walk in visits. I was sent on a wild goose chase oy to be turned away at every location. I ended up at E7 health where they happily took us in and performed the Pbysical needed. For those of you looking for a quality place I would suggest anywhere but minute clinic but especially E7 Health because they actually answered the phone and were willing to see us. read more

My favorite CVS for sure. Mainly cause I an walk to it from my house. Great coupons, extra bucks, and deals on every turn. The employees are friendly and know us by name and call my daughter little Annie. (Se has Curley brown hair), and are extremely helpful. My favorite employees are definitely the older man sady and the other African American lady, can't remember her name right now. Love that its 24 hours and the pharmacy is open til 11pm. I have no experience with the cashiers but I do have experience with the pharmacy. I needed to get some prescriptions filled and came here through the drive through during COVID. I dropped everything off, he told me when everything would be ready and I agreed to come back once called. About an hour later I got a call from the pharmacist asking if I would need all of the pills prescribed (they were pain meds). He told me that by only filling half, I would save $60. I couldn't believe he called me over that and I was so happy to not get all of that filled. I wasn't even sure that I would need that amount of pills, plus....he saved me money. Wow, what a caring person! I was happy to not have those extra bills and money in my pocket. As he said, if I really needed them I could call back and they could fill the rest within a day. Seriously, great pharmacy and this guy was just a great person. I will be loyal to this place just because of him. read more

Well I knew we should have went to Walgreens! Anyways, they are extremely overpriced and never have anything in stock. When you get a raincheck, then they do not order it. And the worst part is their customer service. It is absolutely horrible. Sylvia, the checker, she doesn;t speak English. Oh, and who uses a phone number still, That system is bullshit. The only reason I go to CVS is because that is where my employer has our prescription insurance. It appears that the pharmacy staff has a very large turnover, when you call they will never answer the phone. I was told on two occasions that the district manager call me on certain situation he never did. I would highly recommend not going here. On multiple occasions I know my doctors office has sent in a refill, yet this CVS mysteriously does not have it. And when they do not hear back from the doctor regarding refilling my prescriptions, they say that they alerted me, but I never received one - either text or email.although they say they do. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because it won't let me give zero. read more

One star is generous.. I came to the pharmacy to pick up my 5yo son's medication. I arrived about 3:20 and did not receive his cough medicine and medicine for his nebulizer until about 4:20. It was already ready for pickup and in the pharm tech's hand as soon as I walked up to the register. Her name is Eliza. How do I know this? Because my 9yo daughter remembered, due to the lack of help/consideration that Eliza had proven over and over again. Enough for my daughter to notice. That is so upsetting. She sent me back and fourth to drop off and pick up 3-4 times. You'd assume pharm techs are there to help. I was so wrong. Everytime she found it inconvenient to help me, she would send me to the drop off line. Then they would continuously send me back to the pick up line. She kept looking over my shoulder, noticing that the line kept increasing. There are two open registers. Why not help the customer right in front of you? Why shoo me aside to other lines, to assist others, when I could have been helped with patience and knowledge? My son is sick. My daughter is tired from school. My mom is anxious. By the 4th, maybe 5th time of being tossed around, I'm dizzy, overwhelmed, filled with anxiety, completely exhausted, concerned for my family waiting, and especially concerned for my sick son who is in CVS as well. Whenever I came back to her register, she would leave, socialize with her coworkers, and speak tagalog about me to her peers. How do I know? Because I am a Filipino American who can understand every word. One coworker even shouted "Eliza! Stop flirting with James!" MA'AM.... my son is sick and I just need to pick up his medication. I am disappointed with the service. I am disappointed with how I was treated. I am sad that Eliza had put other customers first as I was shooed to other staff members in the drop off lane. I am bothered by her social life in the workplace when she has a job to do. I am disheartened by lack of morality she has. 1 hour.... 1 hour, back and fourth to her incompetence to simply help and ring me up for a prescription that was ready by 3:20. Seriously, what is up with this location? They all clearly do not want to be there. They were rolling their eyes after customer phone calls and gossiping about customers. These are people who are picking up medication. People who need help. People who are there because they are struggling. Where is the humanity in that pharmacy? My son is 5 years old, sick, and you really don't care? Eliza is terrible. Luckily I had 1 singular interaction with a girl named Mikaela that was actually positive. Even though she had also sent me back to the pick up line. I'm at a loss. These people are terrible and I suggest to anyone, to change locations. I had a doctor appointment last week and today they called me stating my medication was ready at THIS location. I went to this location right away to pick up my meds and ERIKA told me it wasn't ready. i had told her i was told it was. she said it wasn't ready checked her computer twice and also said she didn't know what i was talking about. I left very frustrated and angry. After i tried calling my doctor back which took about an hour to get ahold of her she had said she called THIS location and said the SAME GIRL told her it has been ready for 4 HOURS !! & I WAS JUST THERE LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?! So , I went a SECOND time to pick up this medicine and the same girl took me. she knew exactly why I was there. it was funny because she told me " i tried to give it to you earlier but you didn't want it so i threw it away " & i told her she didn't hand me a damn thing. I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for a few years now and they're never on time filling prescriptions... if there's an issue with the insurance covering a prescription they don't call about it and when coming to pick up they still need multiple hours to fill. Every time I come back to get the prescription they tell me they are behind and still need more time to fill it as if they didn't even put it in the first time... Horrible service. I had a simple request and was met with attitude, side eye, and entitlement by the lead pharmacist and the guy at the counter. Like Jesus Christ I'm not asking for the world here, just basic customer service without the attitude? You literally don't even have to smile - I don't care. The Minute Clinic is wonderful to have at this location! I've needed to utilize that service a few times. The store is consistently clean, organized and calming. I think the subdued lighting provides a calming effect. I've always been able to find what I'm looking for on the shelves and check out has been consistently quick. read more

The following is a response to a CVS who I complained to via their own survey about closing down their restrooms to customers. Seniors be aware, CVS DOES NOT HAVE YOUR WELL BEING IN MIND! They responded stating they are not willing to assign personnel to maintain restrooms during Covid 19 and therefore they are protecting customers, yet all the retail chains I have patronized during Covid are doing the opposite. See following: Dear Lisa, Thank you for your response; albeit, we are confounded by your response. How is it a company like CVS, that caters to consumers health care needs can be so insensitive to "Seniors" who often encounter unforeseen circumstances such as having to use a restroom? If you can't accommodate such a need you should shut your doors. You should assign someone to look after such needs and pay whatever it costs in order to ensure your customer's safety and needs, especially senior's needs are addressed. I was put in harms way. Your explanation is unacceptable. Even your in store staff agrees. Get your act together. You should be embarrassed! This is completely bogus. The following was their response. Another great experience from the pharmacy after Walgreens across the street wasted my time! I checked in with them because I couldn't get all my meds from across the street. They had what I was looking for but not enough to fill my entire prescription so I could come back in several hours and pick up half of my needed request. Once again very young guys & gals working the pharmacy and nobody cares about anything. I'm not sure if the pharmacies are purposely looking for heartless kids to help those in need. I finally got my glorified cough medication 2 hours later because it takes 2 hours to go down an aisle and pick it up to give to someone who's sick. Just a horrible experience, I hate that I have to go back to pick up more stuff this week. Dreading it already! It's beyond disappointing to know we have people like this working at pharmacies. Set up online for a Covid test. There was zero signage stating where to go so I went into the minute clinic. Was told rudely by the employees there that it was outside and there was signs. Got in my car drove around the whole building and there is zero signs. Called inside the store to question where I go and was told it's through the drive-through pharmacy. Completely inapt put up a sign that states Covid testing through pharmacy drive-through. Don't be nasty to someone when they ask where it is because there's no signs. This is the number one reason I never come to CVS. Worst part is they never asked for any identification. How are they to ensure that I am the person that's actually taking the test and not using false information? read more

Had a bad experience with the cashiers at this place. Hes an old gentleman working there and I am always respectful to older folks but he really push me on the wrong side. I was carrying my daughter and popped in to grab a few quick items. At checkout he asked if I had cvs card. I said let me try my phone number and it didnt go through. (I dont always remember if I have a card registered, literally every place have a card and it's sometimes trial and error for me). After he rung me up I asked if I can get a card. He told me, oh I can put in your phone number. I said no, I dont have a card. He insisted to input my number. By this time I jokingly said sir, why are you making it difficult I would like to sign up for a card. He raised his voice and told me no I am not being difficult, you told me in the beginning to put in your phone number. I said exactly, isn't it obvious that I don't have one that's why my number didnt show up so I would like a card. He still stood there not doing a thing so I said never mind I dont want one anymore.
