I was not shocked to see such poor ratings. This place is always crowded and at best 2 cashiers. It seems like staff shortage. Plan to have at least 10 people in line for PICK UP! You heard me 10 in line to pick up, this is after you recieve notification your perscrption is ready. So you end up waiting twice (once to drop off and once to pick up). The only reason its busy is because theres no other CVS pharmacy in the area. Poor management to see these long lines daily and not do anything about it. Whats sad is some that come and pick up are sick or in pain and they have to wait 45 mins in 1 line. I witness one lady crying she could barely stand. read more

Please, if you're not ready to help your customer, do not call them up to your window. I don't wanna hear the conversation between you and your co worker about last nights group chat. 30 long seconds it took you to help me after calling me up. Since you seem to be close with said co worker, how about pulling her to the side and telling her to brush her hair. It's not very professional to be at an establishment where you're rendering services and looking like you just stumbled out of bed. I'm very disappointed since I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. And never once had an issue or a thought of changing pharmacies. I suffer from depression and anxiety so getting to the pharmacy is a struggle for me as it is. Then to get there and deal with such incompetence takes a toll on me. My health! I like this CVS they have friendly staff. Although I think they are understaff at least the time I went. I had to look for a d chase a worker, ultimately I just ended up asking a cashiers if I can get assistance for an item that was locked. So for that its 4/5 stars read more

Today I went to this pharmacy for the first time, to drop of a prescription paper. There are two lines for the drop off, as I waited only 5 mins Cory attended me and next to him was the other pharmacist technician Jessica. She didn't have anyone at her window at this time, some older lady came up to her asking why was she was waiting if they already had the medicine. Jessica explained but in a rudely manner leaving the older lady saying "okay I just wanted to know the reason that's all." Next an adult male (Hispanic) asked Jessica for some assistance and Jessica's response was again rude to my ears, Jessica said (in Spanish) " hold on im doing something right here so let me finish." Yes she was busy but that's no reason to speak so strictly to a customer. Her job as a pharmacist does require positive customer service which she was not giving today and I'm sure it's not only today. On the other hand, Cory was very polite and helpful & that is why I'm giving the 3 stars only. Otherwise I'd give them zero stars. read more

EVERY time I come into this store it's a problem with the photos. And it appears to not just be this location, they have people that work here that have no CLUE as to how to operate the computer in order to print out your photos. Unsure as to why they still continue to offer this service. Something that should be in and out always turn into FOREVER. I wish I could give no stars. read more

As a customer, I'd be expect there to be a restroom to use - especially at a place that has them for customers. At this CVS, there are two restrooms: one labeled "women" and the other "men". The women's restroom had a sign which said "Out of Service" but there was no "Out of Service" sign for the men's restroom. I went to speak with one of the customer associated in the floor and asked for the code for the restroom. Her response is that the bathroom is out of service. I told her that the women restroom is out of order but the men's restroom is not. She then went on to state that the women's restroom is unisex (the sign clearly is labeled "Women" not "Unisex". I asked what about the men's restroom and she stated that it's only for employees. This clearly is a restroom for customers. I'm pretty disappointed that they would not let a paying customer use the restroom because they wanted to have a personal (and probably always clean) restroom for employees to use. read more

Worst service EVER. Had my mother waiting for a prescription that should've been done since yesterday. She called yesterday asking for a prescription to be transferred. And they said they'd do it. She shows up today and the medicine was there but the order wasn't so they had her wait for more than 1 hour. That's ABSURD. Won't be going back here. read more

Ordered online photo prints and was given a confirmation that it'd be ready for same day pickup at 11:30 am. I get there at 12:45 pm and turns out i still need to wait because they never printed it out. At the end i had to wait over 15 mins while they got it all sorted it out. The Tech name "Jeanette .V." was very unprofessional, no eye contact,no smile on her face,.. today I had my worst experience at" CVS " absolute the worst customer care ever, I was not happy for their attitude towards the client. Not only me but with the rest of the customers... i was there for about 1 hour and 20min with my sick child waiting for he's medicine... I have literally been waiting 30 minutes in line to drop off my prescription. There's one person working the drop off window and he has the audacity to have a nasty attitude because everyone is starting to become upset. He's been "helping" the same customer for 30 minutes. Worst pharmacy ever! I needed some Aleve and of course it was in a locked cabinet, I pressed the button for Customer service and waited for about 5 minutes and pressed it again. By far THE WORST CVS ever. Longest lines I have ever seen. You literally will spend more time in line than actual shopping. This CVS should either close down or hire more people to work the checkouts. No matter what day I come in here, lines are crazy. CVS on Slauson and Vermont is the worst. This store/pharmacy has a bad rep, but being a cvs employee I must go and they're closest to my house. I walked in with the idea of having to wait for at least an hour for my sons antibiotics and steroids. The girl who helped me was efficient but they weren't very welcoming or friendly. She didn't ask me how I was doing or even acknowledge me and other waiting customers in line! Being acknowledged may not sound like a major deal but at cvs it's a must! Anyways she told me it'll be in 15 min (really?? In a good way lol) so I walked around and heard his name within 10 min!! Great job guys!! They even pulled the bags for those waiting to make it move a lil faster (smart!) so I was satisfied with my visit that day!!! Only bad thing and this is very important: she didn't offer counseling!!! Most of you may not care once again but at any pharmacy this is a big no no!! I could've been BOP ?!!!
