I was on hold for 1 hour. The lady did not hear me but kept saying your on hold. I am very upset. I use to come here all the time and now I will never come here again. I do not recommend this pharmacy place at all. Needed medication for my surgery right away and they did not help or answer at all. read more

This pharmacy is very UNDER staffed! The pharmacists (Devora) told me that she was helping several people and would help me soon. After 32 mins she finally came back to the line but was very rude and impatient. She should have had another staff member come onto the line to tell me she was still with someone else. My doctor called in a prescription yesterday and they told me my prescription would be ready the following day. When I went in today they informed that they were out of the medication and that my doctor has to call it in to another pharmacy that has it. However, it is now Friday after 5 and now I have to go the weekend with out my mood stabilizing meds. Why they couldn't have just told me that yesterday, when I had time to call my doctor, is beyond me. read more

I'm so bummed! I live so close, and it would be so convienent. The Pharmacy is outrageously slow!!! It's flu season. Everytime Iv'e hobbeled over there I've had to wait an hour to pick up a perscription! and it's not even crowded. I'm on hold with the pharmacy t riht now ,and ITS BEEN 50 MINUTES!!! TORTURE!!! Pharmacies are for people who need medicine, this is crazy, and maddening! Why wont they hire more people? This a terrible way to treat people. The CVS store is fine, and I don't have problems with their employees, the parking attendant, Marisol, employed by Columbia Parking Valet, on the other hand, is straight up harassing me. Every time I come to the store, she is following me, asking if I'm going to CVS and watching me make sure I don't leave the store. The other day, I went to the store, purchased something and saw someone outside. I walked out to say hi and walked them across the street. I wasn't shopping around the neighborhood, I went back went to my car. The whole trip took maybe 15 minutes. She tried to charge me as another person wrote below. I don't understand how this works if a customer comes in and shops at the store, how can they be charged? They are just trying to scam CVS customers and are making up rules as they see fit. The Manager I spoke to had no idea what she was talking about and didn't want to deal with the situation, and the way he handled it was really upsetting. This is about her constantly harassing me, and this reflects really poorly on CVS and the management at this location that they would allow their customers to be charged for arbitrary reasons when the parking is supposed to be free. It makes no sense, and the harassment is getting over the top. read more

Let me start by saying that I love CVS and invariably end up at my local CVS in Westwood at least once a week. The employees are always friendly and helpful and I'm usually in and out of the store in 5-10 minutes. But tonight, on my way home, after a long week of work, nursing a horrible cold, I stopped off at the CVS on Melrose to purchase some Zicam. I found the item and walked back up to the front of the store only to find a line of about 20 people with only 1 cashier working. Realizing it was going to be a VERY long wait, I walked back to the Pharmacy and waited about 10 minutes to purchase my Zicam. Just as I got to the front of the line, the cashier asked the Pharmacist if she could step in to help people pay for their items. He was being paged to come to the front of the store to help. A Code Red had been issued on account of the massive line. When I presented my item to the Pharmacist, the first words out of her mouth were: Just so you know, this line is only for people picking up their prescriptions. You're supposed to use the line at the front of the store. I responded by telling her that I had taken my item to the front of the store, with every intention of paying for it there, but the line was just too long. (At least a 20-25 minute wait, with only 1 cashier working.) She replied: "Well, for future reference, you can't use this line to purchase store items." I wanted to tell her that there was no need to allude to any future scenario where I might be returning to this CVS. Not after I waited in line for 10 minutes only to be admonished for purchasing ONE item (Zicam)that was displayed directly next to the Pharmacy counter in the "Pharmacy Section" of the store. For future reference, please don't blame the customers for your staffing issues. And try to limit your Pharmacist from directly interacting with customers. Customer Service is not her strong suit. read more

Came on a Sunday morning to pick up some meds that were accidentally sent to another location. There was a woman and young man behind the counter. They were friendly and attentive. I had to wait for the other location to transfer my prescriptions over to this one but no worries - it's called patience :) Anyway, I appreciated their assistance and periodic updates. read more

Hands down worst CVS I've been to and I say this after visiting this location multiple times. I should note this review is strictly because of the staff, particularly the pharmacy, not the store itself. It's actually a fairly larger CVS with lots of products. I've been to a ton of CVS's over years and throughout many cities. The female pharmacist (don't recall her name) is extremely unfriendly and I had to call multiple times to check on a prescription and was on hold for over 30 minutes combined. There were no apologies for the delay or anything. Upon arrival there was a mix up with the information provided and again no apologies by the other pharmacist or assistant. At checkout their systems were all the sudden down. With rx in their hand they said I just might need to "come back at a different convenient time." Uhm no. My rx is ready and I am able to pay for it and additionally it needs to be started ASAP. The seeming inexperience, lack of regard for even decent customer service and sheer lack of knowledge of care is honestly appalling here. When the pharmacist mentioned my information including birthday was put in the system wrong by previous pharmacist he said should we fix that to which I responded, yes clearly otherwise how would I ever be able to verify a prescription with date of birth. It honestly seemed like no one here had it together and I'm honestly not even mentioning my other thought about their behavior, just that it was "off". After multiple negative experiences here I will gladly drive further to go to any other CVS because of repeated poor service and more importantly because of the lack of caring regarding it. read more

Super useless passport photos. Total rip off. Paid almost $35 for two passport photos on a USB stick that ending up being rejected by the passport agencey for poor quality. Wasted two trips to this location. It would help if they used a camera that was newer than a first Gen. digital from 2005. Even second trip pics were rejected. So pissed I never went back. read more

The worst pharmacy in existence does not even begin to describe this place!! I was given the wrong medication which was not prescribed by my doctor!! The pharmacy did not reach out to tell me not take the medication under any circumstances until a week after the prescription was filled because my doctor called them to see why I was given medicine with the side effect of dizziness, which was what the medication was supposed to treat. The follow up by the pharmacy a week later telling me not to take the medication is unacceptable especially considering the medication was supposed to be taken 4 times a day for a week thus the medication would have already been completed. To prescribe a patient the wrong medication and allow them to complete the entirety of it is absolutely ridiculous. This place is a joke and should not be allowed to remain open after something like this has occurred. Please go elsewhere if you care about your health and receiving the right medication!! I wish I could give this place zero stars. Beware!!! read more

I needed to get shots because of immunization requirements, so I visited CVS. I didn't expect too much, but they were very professional and patient. I told them I didn't know what kind of shots that I should take, so they look through my yellow card, and gave me a list of shots that I have to take. One person in the pharmacy - kept saying "I'll be with you shortly" while she took phone calls and worked on her computer, I just wanted to drop off. Horrified at how Marc the manager treated us. We came in to get passport photos and after one staff member shared details about the packages and pricing, she left and then Marc charged us twice as much as what she had mentioned. When we asked to resolve the issue with her, Marc said that she went home. He was rude and pushy. Terrible customer service. read more

The new store is nice but very small. I was also bombs to see they don't carry the impulse late-night snack stuff that most CVS stores do. I guess they're trying to make a good impression because everyone is in super CAN I HELP YOU? mode. I was pretty happy to see this place open less than two blocks from my home. I received a 40% off one item discount via email, and when I went to make my purchase I was informed that the offer expired one day earlier. When I asked if they could still honor the discount, I was rejected.
