Came by here this morning to grab a Neutrogena face mask pack that I need for work purposes. The CVS website stated that it was in stock hence me coming to this specific location. Walking in, I didn't see any employee but proceeded to try and find what I needed. I kept looking but no luck so I figured I'd look for the employee and ask for help. Couldn't find anyone so I stood at the register for a minute - then I clicked a customer service button. An older male employee came out and asked if I needed something. I let him know that I was looking for an item (showed him the exact product on my phone) and that it shows it's in stock at this location. He pointed at the Neutrogena makeup department signage and asked if I looked there. I said no (it's a skincare product not makeup) but I'll go check it out. Again, I didn't see it so I went back to the front to find the employee. He was standing behind the register and I stood there watching him on his phone. I won't assume its personal vs work related - I get that he could have been corresponding with other employees or something like that. He acknowledged me about 90 seconds later and asked if I found it. I told him no and his response was "oh well then we don't have it." He put no effort into actually helping me and honestly just acted like I was bothering him. I walked out - will continue to use the CVS on Stacy Rd instead.\ read more

I visited this location specifically to purchase a money order because the website clearly states that this store is partnered with MoneyGram and offers those services. When I spoke to the store manager, Hadi, and requested a money order, he informed me that I would need to create a MoneyGram account and have it printed at the CVS location. I've never heard of this process before, and it did not align with the information listed online. I attempted to follow his instructions and created a MoneyGram account while in the store, but there was no option to digitally create or print a money order. When I asked Hadi for assistance walking me through the process on my phone, he refused to help. As a result, I had to leave without being able to obtain the money order. This experience was frustrating and a waste of time. If the service is not available at this location, the website should be updated to reflect that. Additionally, customers should not be turned away without proper guidance or assistance. I hope management addresses both the misinformation and the lack of customer support. read more

Horrible svc at the drive the attendant named Wai was a lazy employee like i owe him a damn favor in getting my meds because he's too lazy to verify my insurance. I drove off and transferred to a different pharmacy. They are not the only game in town. Stay away from this place unless you want poor customer treatment. cvs should train their employees better. The CVS located at Eldorado Parkway and Ridge Rd is by far the worst pharmacy I have used. The phone is NEVER answers MF when I would attempt to call and I finally discovered why during one of my in-store visits. As I was standing line the phone was ringing for an extended period of time but no one was answering the caller. To my utter surprise, the manager picked up the receiver and disconnected up the call. I was in shock. During another in-store visit the way the manager treated one of the staff was horrible. She totally embarrassed and humiliated him. Each and every experience with this pharmacy had been very frustrating and behaviors from the manager forced me to finally make the decision to move to Walgreens. Best decision I could have made. All other staff members were great however, it appears the lack of proper leadership is what is bringing this pharmacy down. My mother is in stage 4 cancer and I am her daughter and full time caregiver. The last thing I need is additional stress when dealing with my pharmacy. Walgreens actually answers the phone, and in a timely manner, and ALL staff to include manager and technicians are very professional and accommodating. I am a forever customer at the Eldorado & Hardin location as long as they continue to provide great service. read more

I don't know if it's the staff, management or a corporate problem but this store is completely incompetent in having medications that I've been using for years in stock. A 4 year old could manage their supply chain better. I understand shortages, but other nearby stores don't have this problem continually. The pharmacy section of this store should be closed immediately. The retail side is pretty nice though. Anyway, thank goodness Amazon has started a pharmacy - I'll be moving my business there going forward. read more

CVS doesn't manage their website correctly & provided false information. They are a HUGE profitable corporation that allows their website designers to provide false information in order to corner you into a situation where you buy things that you don't need because you invested so much time only to learn all the information the CVS provided is false. Then it's too late & someone you truly care about dies. This is especially evil when it a retail is providing medical needs to others. We have moved all our prescription business to a different pharmacy- for 2 reasons. 1. Their GoodRX prices are significantly higher than our new provider. 2. It is near IMPOSSIBLE to get anybody on the phone at CVS when you call them due to their ridiculous phone menu structure. Our new prover, call the store and punch zero and you are immediately transferred to a pharmacy representative. read more

this place is HORRIBLE. They tell me they don't have my scripts from doc so I call doc and they say they send 5 days prior...every time come through drive thru it takes AT LEAST 20 mins to get script. Yesterday my script was sent at 2 pm, never got a text it was ready, I called at 630 to check and they closed at 6. I show up right when they open today at 10am and they say "it's not ready they just received the script" which is obviously a lie. I ask why it wasn't ready yesterday and they just say oh I don't know what happened. That's the theme here...RHWY NEVER KNOW WHAT HAPPENS OR WHAT IS GOING ON and they do nothing to make it better. Then I'm told I can come back in 10 mins to get it to which I refuse and say I'll wait in line and I'm told there people waiting behind me...sir I have been waiting on yall... read more

I have gotten prescriptions from this location for years. Got in line recently at the pharmacy drive-through to avoid the heat. After nearly a 30 minute wait, they closed the window gate & set a recording on me that they were 'closed for lunch'. Now, I'm sympathetic to staffing issues & sure, everyone deserves a break in their day. But I get a million emails from this place, they couldn't email to let long-time customers know of this change? And how is there not a giant sign on the drive-up overhang to advise of this early-afternoon closing for lunch? Who would expect a pharmacy to lose at 1:30? Shows no regard at all for their customer's time that nothing was posted & no prior notice was given. And this place already has terrible wait times in the pharmacy at all hours of the day. read more

CVS pharmacy is declining in service. I have previously used this pharmacy because of convenience and the service was good. Oh but the last three (3) times have been miserable. Today, I waited in drive thru for 35 minutes exactly and there was only one car in front of me. I decide to park and go inside only to find a line consisting of five (5) individuals. I asked the patron in front of me, "Sir, how long have you been in line?" He stated about 30 minutes. I am baffled at this. I had to walk out without my medicine. read more

This CVS is the rudest store I've ever visited in 20 years of shopping at CVS. It takes forever to get a prescription and the quality of service is terrible. We have been going to this pharmacy for about 5 years. Granted the service has never been great but today's experience made me fear for others. I placed my online order for my daughters prescription to check out online and pick up in store. I placed this order prior to July1st, however still within the time limit to pick it up in a couple of days, without it being restocked. The total for my order was $0. I received an online confirmation of this. When I came into the store I immediately received an email saying that my order was cancelled. With no reasoning. I then try to proceed with my order at the counter and they tell me that the new total is over $200 because of my deductible. Mind you... I had already checked out prior to July 1st with my online order. I told the pharmacy tech this is not alright because I had already checkout online. They proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they can do and that they have NO access to prior orders. Being someone who works in logistics and knows how order management works I knew that was not true. They did not care and said they did not know why the order was cancelled but that we would need to pay the new price. They said they would call insurance and then told us it was because of the new deductible that starts mid-year. I hardly ever complain but found this to be a truly shameful experience on their part. I called their corporate office where I have officially filed a complaint. I was able to escalate to the DM and also connected to their online department. The online department said that the prescription was cancelled by the pharmacy for "low stock". Yet when I was at the counter they had a new prescription ready for me at a new price. I am not normally someone that complains and I thankfully am blessed enough not to worry about $200. However I did not grow up with much and I know how hard it is for some people to get their prescriptions. So experiencing this really through me for a loop. How is it justified or okay to take advantage of people like this? We are now transferring all our prescriptions. I will not purchase from a company that takes advantage of its consumers like this. read more

My criticism in this review is of CVS Pharmacy's management, not the pharmacists, techs or employees. CVS has the pharmacists, techs, and employees doing everything BUT dispensing prescriptions. If you want a Covid shot, a flu shot, a shingles shot, or a covid test, you get waited on BEFORE all of the people who were there first waiting in line to pick up their prescriptions. This CVS has one overworked tech to take care of all of the people waiting in line to pick up their prescription. Seriously consider transferring to Market Street (across the street) or one of the nearby Krogers. read more

Worst pharmacy staff I have ever had the misfortune to have to work with. My mother just move into the area and we have been trying for 2 weeks to transfer her out-of-state prescriptions and they have done nothing to make this as easy as it should be. We have been on the phone with them, came by when everything was filled only to get home and find something missing. No apologies. They do not accept responsibility for their incompetence. CVS is terrible! You try to do the responsible thing and dispose of your old prescription drugs the proper way. The box that outdated meds goes into is always "temporary closed". Of course no one in the pharmacy will take it. They always tell you to come back next week. Forget that, old medicine is going in the trash!!! read more

Let me just start by saying I was in the drive thru pharmacy for 30 minutes and was never helped. I rang the button at least 5 times and still no one came to even tell me they would be with me in a moment. Second, I had to go inside to the pharmacy since no one would help me at the window. As I was in line I watched 3 people get flu shots... NOT ONE TIME DID THE GUY GIVING THE SHOT CHANGE HIS GLOVES. He used the same gloves on 3 different strangers. Bad energy is passed from employee to employee. I'll pray for y'all. Everyone in this pharmacy looks like they have no idea what they're doing, I will not be returning. read more

This pharmacy is horrific. My husband just retired so we now have to leave the pharmacy we loved and go to this, incompetent, under trained, Over worked staff. I have waited over an hour for 3 prescriptions. Sat in my car today for 25 min to pick up 4. When I requested a prescription Transfer, from Market Street which is kiddy corner from there, I was asked to give the Pharmacy's address and phone...Geez... I've seen people walk out, cursing why they had to wait 45 min. Just to hear, they didn't have his meds. One of the employees, on my first visit said, "ID"! Do you want my drivers license?, I asked. "ID" he loudly replied. Do you mean my drivers license? Another booming "ID" even though I'm younger than most in this situation, I felt like he was purposely being annoying and disrespectful. I later thought, he must enjoy intimidating older people. I'm not that person. I look for him when I'm in there and I want his Grand Mothers phone number...I bet he does t talk to her like that. I want out of this CVS system. Like many others, we are trapped. I would love to know how the employees feel about working at this AWEFUL place. I have to say that the pharmacy team here is off the chains quick. I went to an urgent care only 15 minutes prior. From the moment they sent in my prescription to the time it took me to get over there in less then 10 minutes, my prescription was already waiting for me... insane fast compared to the one in Richardson off Campbell. read more

It's a cvs located next to Market Street with a Redbox around the corner. Now that alone would be 4 stars but I have to take -1 BC of these reasons: Service: there was this old lady helping me who I believe was getting up there in years and was checking me out at the cashier. I asked for a book of stamps and she asked me back if I knew where they were. Um, no. lol. And when the receipt came, she just handed me this 2 ft receipt w/o folding it up for me. I don't mind old ladies working, but not as a cashier where there are thousands of buttons they must remember. Redbox: idk why it took forever to return my redbox movies. Do not get your prescription filled here! I've Ben three times now and had the same lady help me. I've waited well over two hours for medicine. When your in pain you don't want to wait 5 min. The lady has always Ben rude to me. She asked me to circle the parking lot then come back to get the prescription. This is after waiting 2 hours. I said ok then when I circled there were two cars ahead of me. I go here because it's close to my home. I guess ill be making the trip to frisco from no on. I went and took my covid test over that and the person who took my test (Mrs Congling) was the sweetest person ever. She was kind and made sure i was comfortable and took safety precautions in sanitizing and maintaining distance. If you want to take your test i recommend coming here it's very professional and great customer service. read more

Pharmacy phone response - Don't bother calling this pharmacy as in the past month they have stopped answering the phone. I've called on several occasions in the past month to inquire about prescriptions and the phone rings, and rings and rings - after 5 minutes I call the Store Manager (three times) who has been less than helpful. I went to the store to and discussed with the head pharmacist and was frankly told the phone is not their priority even though it appeared all the all employees behind the counter were not fully engaged? I have been doing business with this pharmacy for over ten years and calling to inquire about a prescription in the past this has never been an issue. I get the COVID issues, but if they don't want to answer the phone, they should disconnect the phone and give a message to their customers if they want to talk to the Pharmacy to come to the store. read more

I have never witnessed such poor service from the front of store to the pharmacy. The ladies at the front follow you around. I know they are asked to watch the floor but they are not trained in apprehensions and one day they will come across the wrong person. The worst CVS pharmacy I've experienced. They have a 15 minute policy and will not honor it. The staff is very hard to understand (very heavy accents) and the drive thru is an average 10 minute wait with only two in line. If a prescription isn't ready, politely ask the customer to come back. It's a painful process coming here. read more

My prescription was filled at the wrong CVS pharmacy, and I was told that it was waiting at this CVS pharmacy. By the time I made it there it was 8:55 pm and their posted hours said they closed at nine. They already had the window closed and although there were employees staring at me and I pointed to my watch, they wouldn't open the window. The CVS pharmacy at 2100 W. The pharmacy at this location is a nightmare. I'm not sure if it's just incompetence or pure laziness, but I've never not had some kind of issue getting my prescriptions here. They also have lied to me and been caught in it several times. Not qualified to handle people's medications. They need to be cleared out of there. The way the try to function is dangerous.
