The pharmacy at this location is a nightmare. I'm not sure if it's just incompetence or pure laziness, but I've never not had some kind of issue getting my prescriptions here. They also have lied to me and been caught in it several times. Not qualified to handle people's medications. They need to be cleared out of there. The way the try to function is dangerous. This pharmacy is horrible! I have gotten random pills in my prescription bottle. Yup! I brought it back and the tech acted like I put it there. The pharmacy manager took the bottle counted the pills, traded out the wrong one. Gave it back to me and apologized. I left wondering if that happens often because it might be dangerous! I had to block their refill auto call. Calls 5 times a day. Really 5 times a day. But when you get there the prescription is not ready. I brought in a paper script from my dr. It was for the non- generic medicine. The pharmacist said I was already taking this med. and gave me the generic. Told him the script was for NON-GENERIC. He insisted I had the right one. Was NOT. going to give me anything else. Took it anyway. Went back the next day to get the right one as per the dr office. They lost the paper script and it was never put in system. I had to have dr office call it in again. Only took 2 tries to get it right. Next day I brought in the non-generic for a refund. She they won't take it back because it left the store. They really don't obey the HIPPA laws as the tech was giving me some instruction on how to take the med, using the name of it, across two other people standing at the counter. Had horrible service at the Drive-thru today. Was going to pick up a prescription that was never ready. First time I went the guy said it'll be ready in 15min. So I went back 30 min later and the guy said it's still not ready. He told me to come back in another 10 min. So I went and came back 2 hours later and the guy still said it was not ready! Seems like this place doesn't know what they are doing. Would stay away from CVS from now on. read more

The pharmacy staff are the worst. They forget to input your prescription, then take 25 min to fill it while you are waiting. No apologies are given then just take your money and ask for the next person in line. Worst ever! read more

Our Doctor called this pharmacy and left messages many times to have my husband's daily prescription filled. After going through a holiday weekend in pain, I had our Doctor call the Market Street Pharmacy across the street. Not only did they have the message, but filled it within minutes for me. I won't be going back to this CVS Pharmacy. read more

No complaints here. I've had several prescriptions filled and purchased many a late night packs of twizzlers and 20oz of Mountain Dew. The store has a standard CVS selection and the staff is friendly enough. Some are nicer than others but no one has been rude to me. The pharmacy staff members are also nice - same deal there...the level of friendliness varies. My prescriptions have always been correct; I ask for generic versions of any super expensive prescriptions I have to fill (they don't volunteer alternatives - you have to ask). Normally it doesn't take long at all and I'm off. I'll return. read more

The lady manager (store manager?) is the worst. Extremely rude and unprofessional. As a tip: Avoid making purchases which have even the smallest chance of being returned. It's a hassle to try and return anything here. Not to mention, many things are overpriced compared to nearby stores like Walmart, Market Street or Kroger. Now, I come only for the pharmacy, and perhaps some snacks if I'm really in a pinch and can't make it to Walmart. read more

Brought a foundation in for a refund. I had my receipt but was informed I needed to go get my extra bucks receipt as well. No big deal. I brought it back and she then told me she couldn't give a refund on something that didn't have a bar code. I didn't realize that the plastic on the bottle had the bar code on it. I told her I would go get another one. I then brought it back and she did the refund. I was holding my debit card because you just never know if it's going back on there or if it will be cash. She said it wouldn't go back on my card. Then she handed me a receipt and told me to have a good day. I asked her if my refund went back on my card since she didn't give me any cash. She said, "No, I just gave you cash." I told her she didn't give me anything but a receipt and she then proceeded to give me my money while mumbling under her breath. No reason at all to be so nasty. This CVS is the worst CVS I've ever been to in my life. Leann the MANAGER was horrible to myself and my siblings. Customer service is obviously not important to herself nor CVS seeing the way she handled herself. I came to this CVS with my 3 siblings and my grandpa. My grandpa had walked away from us for a second to find something and my brother lowered his mask to take a picture we were to print, Leann came to where we were in the store (the makeup section) and literally yelled at my brother (13) saying "SIR PUT YOUR MASK UP NOW" my brother said sorry and put his mask on correctly. I fully understand the importance of the mask but she didn't even ask him nor act civil to us. After she walked away we just stood there waiting for our grandfather to finish and she came once again over to us and said "now are we shopping or chatting" to which I replied "shopping". I would like to add we had not been in the store more than 5 minutes and this had already happened!! Truly uncomfortable with the situation and how she had been treating us, we went to our grandfather and she FOLLOWED us to the back of the store. Once she saw my grandfather she proceeded to walk back to the front. Once my grandfather got what he needed we went to the front of the store to pay and a group of 5 came in and not a single person had a mask on. She checked them out. Not once did she ask for them to put the mask on instead she checked them out with their masks half way on their mouth and was laughing and joking with them. Therefore not following store policy as well as acting horribly to us as. What really pisses me off is the fact that she yelled at a 13 year old boy. By far the worst experience at a store. I will never go back again. I cannot explain how pissed this experience has me. read more

I will not be using this pharmacy any longer. I work in the healthcare industry so I know how patients are supposed to be treated. My prescription was called in around 5:30 and I came to the pharmacy around 8. I waited in the drive thru line for about 20 minutes before heading inside. The prescription wasn't ready. I asked if it was normal for them to be behind and one of the pharmacy employees, Katie, stated that "you're not the only person who's dropped their prescription off, there were about 100 other people as well". I told her that I was just a little upset because I had already been waiting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. She then stated "well this is the busiest season right now". I believe the pharmacist heard the conversation because she called my name and reassured me that I wouldn't have to wait long for my medication. I am very well aware that it's busy season, it's 4th quarter for the entire healthcare industry... That doesn't warrant having an attitude when speaking to patients who are not feeling well and in need of help. I'm thankful to whoever the pharmacist was that helped me tonight, but unfortunately I will not be coming back. read more

The CVS at El Dorado in Ridge Road has the worst customer service of any store in McKinney. They never have enough employees working the front register. There will be employees walking around the store and one person checking out with 20 people in line. I refuse to ever step foot back in the store. read more

I turned in a prescription, picked it up when I got home (I was in a hurry, so just paid & left) there was a message on it saying they charged me regular price because my insurance information was incorrect, so instead of them calling me and asking me they billed me at regular price. A time before that, I went inside and stood there I know for a good (or long) 20 minutes (only me in line) say 4 people behind the counter - No one acknowledge me there - I finally had to ask for help and still had to wait - why I don't know, but I was not happy. read more
