The worst. Have never gotten one of my prescriptions right. One of them needs to be refrigerated and it wasn't. They lie and then tell you to come back later as they are too busy to help you. Without fail, a terrible pharmacy experience and I blame myself for ever thinking it will be different. There's a CVS down the street with far better pharmacy care but I get bated into coming back to this location because it's a little closer to my home. In any case, my medication is never ready when it should be, they're clearly understaffed and those that are working are tired and unhelpful, and even when a medication HAS been called in, you still have to physically ensure it's being worked on otherwise it falls to the back of the line and you'll have to wait a whole day. As it is, even waiting in person, it's no less than a 1 hr wait in store. A complete waste. Every. Time. read more

This is the WORST CVS pharmacy they do not care for about the needs of the customers. They have to empathy for people who are in need of their medication. I spoke with so many representative to get my prescription that they did not order from their provider timely. Finally was transferred to the pharmacy manager Mona only for her to tell me to call around and figure out who had it. I'm my opinion they really need to be retrained or change the staff because there's people who's life depends on medication. I have had nothing but problems with CVS. The final straw was the lie they are now telling about getting free delivery of prescriptions for high risk patients during this COVID 19 time. You must sign up on their app and pay $5 for extra care to access their free delivery process! That's not free! It is not uncommon to wait over 15 minutes on hold to speak to someone in the pharmacy. Then they have messed up my co payments so often, my health plan told me to try a different location. I wish my health plan would go back to Walgreens as their primary pharmacy. Multiple people working there didn't have masks on. The person at the front of the pharmacy didn't have one at all and the person at the check out counter wore hers below her nose. It's amazing no one dies from trying to get a prescription filled properly at this location. I went on Saturday to try and help my 90 year old parents who were being told repeatedly that their prescription was ready only to find out that it wasn't the right one. I went myself and Mary, the pharmacy tech couldn't tell the difference between Verio and Blue so I wasted a trip as well. No one there seems to have any idea what they're doing and it's disgusting. The whole store is depressing to be in but the Pharmacy is just a complete disaster. I wish I could give this location negative stars for their horrible and uneducated staff. They should consider closing this location as it appears I'm not the only one having poor service issues. read more

Update: This is for pharmacy: they don't fill all your prescriptions at once, instead they trickle them out. Which is annoying because if you don't have a car like me you'll have to keep going and going and going until you have them all ready. Also, the pharmacy personnel, for lack of better words, they don't know sh*t. The pharmacy techs are condescending and don't know anything, also they don't show you your meds or even tell you what you're getting. I also asked for arthritis friendly bottles and they "forgot" twice. As for the pharmacist, they are the reason I'm transferring soon. I asked her some questions and she wouldn't answer them, instead she kept passing the buck to my doctor and saying "well what did he tell you" I finally got irked and told her well I'm asking you for options, and she repeats herself again "what did your doctor say?" I am aware my doctor can tell me but if I had other questions about over the counter stuff you would think going to school to be a pharmacist would let her help people? Nope. I'm not trying to be mean but she shouldn't be in a position if she feels inadequate to help her customers. That's just that. As for me... as soon as get this prescription that she put on hold, I will be transferring to a better, helpful pharmacy. The male pharmacist is just as bad, he acts like it's beneath him to help the customers. I'm done This is for pharmacy, the weekend girl time was not helpful at all. I had new prescriptions and she didn't do much or say much or even offer me a consultation with the pharmacist. They weren't even busy I went in at 3:00 since they are only open on Saturdays until 5pm. I regret using cvs I never had good experience with them. first off let me say that the CVS pharmacy on Victory blvd 13021 is the absolute most incompetent pharmacy I have ever used. Over the last few years they have lost my prescriptions, can't seem to contact my Dr. for a refill and now I have been waiting 3 weeks for them to fill a 90-day script for my cholesterol medicine. They say my Dr. hasn't contacted them and my Dr. says they have never sent in a request. I believe my Dr. Because of past bad experience with CVS. I come here mainly for my prescriptions and the pharmacist is always nice super helpful when I get a new medication that I know nothing about. The only down fall about this place is when I grab something else to buy there is only one cashier and a huge line that goes down the hall dose not matter what time a day you go there is always a long line wish they would have the other register up and going to at least cut the wait time down. read more

This review is not for the store, it is only for the pharmacy. I just moved here and my family got sick during the move. We saw a doctor for a nasty bacterial infection, he prescribed antibiotics and asthma meds for my son. I called the pharmacy and asked when is the latest I could pick up. A young lady said we could arrive as late as 10pm. I said ok, (that was 6:30pm, but I had to wait for furniture at my apartment). We arrived at 9:15pm and were told that she wasn't going to have it ready until the next day. I explained my conversation on the phone and pleaded it was for the kids. She was nice enough to fill the Rx. The very next day, the same doctor prescribed steroids and antibiotics for me and my husband. We brought our Rx around 12 noon, they didn't have all the meds. We had to run to another CVS and have it filled. The day after, we are diagnosed with pertussis and they change our antibiotics again. I should have known better, but this is the closest CVS and my doctor called in the Rx. When I called to see if they had it ready, the pharmacist acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I was furious, after being on hold for a few minutes, he found the Rx and said it would be ready in 30 mins. We arrived one hour later via drive thru, they only had my husband's meds and were charging him full price cause they didn't bother to look up his insurance info, we left cause they were about to close. We came back the next day, insurance cards in hand, ID in hand, and waited 20 minutes for our Rx. This has to be the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever been to, and I have worked with many as a health care provider. They have a real lack of communication, of empathy, and common sense. read more

This CVS pharmacy is located in a small complex next to a LA fitness, petco, and Fashion Q. There is a parking lot and numerous food options. If you have to stay and wait for a prescription to be filled, there are plenty of places to explore whether shopping or hungry. Since I've lived in LA, this has been my pharmacy. The staff/pharmacists have all been very nice to everyone they interact with. I only take a star away due to the fact that it is not 24 hrs and the line can be very long as it seems to be a very popular pharmacy....but hence my good review, it seems like its for a good reason that they are busy. ^_^ read more

I came into the store looking for a black Friday deal that consists of a Conair blow dryer. The deal is buy 1 receive a $5 ecb. To begin with the store is not tagged with current promotions. I took my item to the register and my Ecb did not print. One of the employees then called a person named Pedro to the register. Pedro as soon as he saw me said "this is not on sale because your ecb did not print" He also told me, the customer, show me where it says that it is on sale. He is the EMPLOYEE. NOT me. He proceeded to accuse me of "doing this deal" that's why my ecb did not print. He then told me "someone is using your card and your number because you already did this deal" I have never been so bombarded with confusing statements before. I asked for my money back and right in front of me and other customers he told his co worker "someone is using he number that's why her extra bucks did not print" I will never come back to this location. I was disrespected by the pharmacist tech here. She is so rude and will talk over you. I couldn't get her name and would try to hide her badge whenever I would try to see her what her name was. She picked up the phone and started talking aggressively to someone over the phone and put him on hold and told her co workers she would leave it like that until they hung up. Her name was Dayne once I finally got to see it. I recommend being assisted by someone else. read more

Sandie, the Lead Pharmacy Tech, was nice enough to take my call and tell me if an Rx was in stock. It was and I told her I was on my way and I would be right there. Fifteen minutes later, she greeted me and asked if I had been there before (I had) and she said it would take an hour to fill the prescription. I was surprised (and in pain), so I asked if there were a lot of people waiting. She looked around the store and said yes. Very nicely, I told her I really would have appreciated if she would have told me that on the phone. Upon leaving, it was clear there was no one in the store. Now, I understand that it usually takes an average of 15 or 20 minutes, sometimes longer, to fill prescriptions. And I realize pharmacy techs cannot control the time it takes to fill prescriptions, especially when they are busy. But proper communication with customers should be just as important as everything else they do. Otherwise, you start to loose customers... read more

I go in with a sore throat and give my perscription, I said I'll be around, I need it badly. 30 mins they told me, I go back an HOUR later NEEDING my cough medicine, and they said it's not ready, 30 more minutes..... Going to a CVS pharmacy is never pleasant but this one is close to my house so when I need meds I have no choice but to go. Well tonight is my last time using this particular location. The wait is always long and there was a mix up with the medication my insurance will provide so I had to step out of the pick up line and go talk to another pharmacist. She explained to me that my insurance wouldn't cover my medication. I understood that but she said it so condescendingly and LOUD. Normally I don't write a yelp review unless a company goes above & beyond or fails horribly. First of all, they do not deliver - I paid for same day delivery and my rescue inhaler I NEED to breath better never showed up. I spoke to the pharmacy manager whom I've dealt with before and some of the Medical assistants/RNd my Drs offices have dealt with her before when calling in medicine for me...all negative with her. This pharmacy manager said my order wasn't on record with their delivery service but yet they charged my credit card, this was completely CBS's fault for not ordering it - I called around 9am today to request home delivery since I'm sick & self quarantined. They charged my card immensely and then finally when it was 5pm I ended up calling them to see where it was, I was told a manager would call me back in 30 minutes. She did call me back but 1 hour later so around 6pm. She was extremely unprofessional & more than rude multitasking times but this time was the worst. The woman who I dealt with pharmacy manager who wouldn't give me her first name is the sole reason why I will never be using that CVS again. Stay far away from this one if you wanted to be treated with respect & dignity because you won't get that from this CVS location. I still don't have my rescue inhaler and I've already filed a formal grievance with CVS corporate office and will speak to her district manager within 24 hours. The representatives at the CVS call center were very nice and were shocked at how I was treated and especially that my medicine was never delivered. I would stay far away from trusting this pharmacy with your medicine, your health & privacy because they give loud consults & yell out your prescription name from their computer with many people standing in line, so basically everyone in line now knows your medicines you're walking out of the store with. Huge safety issue & HIPAA violation. They just simply don't care. If you are going to use a CVS the one on Raymer inside target is really good! The pharmacist, Jonathon is super nice and respectful and actually seems to care about us as patients. I hope the CVS corporate & district manager take immediate action because if I'm being treated poorly by their pharmacy manager & being violated of my rights as a patient & consumer, then I'm sure others are too. I could write more horrible verbal conversations I've had with this pharmacy manager but I'm sure you get the point. Don't trust them to order your meds, don't trust them to deliver meds and don't trust them to treat you with dignity and respect at this location. Tonight I was physically threatened by THE pharmacist who also told me to F*ck myself and told me to Get the f*ck out of HIS store TLDR; First, I called twice, was hung up on both times with no greeting, just picked up and hung up. Mind you, this is to pick up anti-seizure meds that my life depend on (epilepsy). Once after being on hold for 15 min. The 3rd time I was told I'd be transferred and they'd walk back to the pharmacy and ask them to take my call. When I walked into the store which I drove to from Hollywood while on hold, it was still ringing on my speaker and the girl who transferred me was still helping customers. After waiting a couple min I told her I was the one waiting and that I wanted to speak to a mgr and headed back to the pharmacy where I had to go thru the line (about 3 people). One pharmacy employee was taking calls. When I got to the counter, there were 2 employees at the counter and the one who recognized me, said, "just one moment, Mr. [Last Name]," he recognized me and walked away to go answer phones! How was I on hold for 15 min with 2 people answering phones? And then get screwed even more when I came in and waited another 10. I have always been nice, until tonight. So I wait for the smiley new girl, she asks how I'm doing. I tell her calmly, I'm actually pretty pissed and will want to talk to the mgr, but want to know whether they have my prescription first since I know I'd have to wait even longer to talk to him. She looks at my file and walks over to the other man who's asked me to hold on (to answer phones) and whispers something and they both snicker. Then I hear him say, "I left a message for their office and we're waiting to hear back." At that point I snapped and said, "this is f*cking bs! You guys are f'n snickering back there when I called 3xs, was hung up on twice and then you walk away to answer phones when I'm next in line!" The gentleman told me to go f*ck myself, to get the f*ck out of his store and physically threatened me. They usually have what I want...it has the same stuff the others have that Ive been too and also theres ample parking.....so hey...yep! im a fan! I'll def be back...plus the staff is always helpful! This is a good OLD store. It is always clean and organized. It is also huge, I think they literally have every pharmacy product ever made. The pharmacy has things I have never even heard of before. Lol lots of useful stuff. Like liquid adult Tylenol that is so helpful since my gastric bypass. The staff is very friendly and almost always say welcome as soon as you walk in. Arpi Karsian at CVS located at 13021 Victory Boulevard Valley Glen denied giving my filled paid for by my insurance prescription that was called in by my doctor on 10/26/18. There is no disclosure stating a patient will be refused their medication and I have been denied. The prescription has been filled this year 2018 and today this person refused to give me my medication. Stating there is a California Regulation in which she was also unable to produce to prove that California has a regulation stating a pharmacy or pharmacist has the authority to refuse a patient a filled prescription. Was there more than 2 hour attempting to get my prescription and refused due to CVS refusal to provide disclosures, printed law disclosures and the patient privacy protection disclosure. I have been going to this store since it was a Savon drug store in the 90's. The checkout clerks are above average in politeness and remembered me and my children from yrs. of shopping there.The pharmacist Pargev Varzhapetyan,Rph was too busy entertaining his friend behind the counter to be bothered with filling prescriptions.I'm sure this store must have a video camera to see that this pharmacist is having friends "hangout" in the pill aisles while he's supposed to be working. The clerk continually reminded him that there were customers waiting,but he just glared at us and continued laughing and joking at our expense. I spent $93.00 and my refills will be going to Target next month! read more

Worst pharmacy overall. Customer service is the worst, you wait forever, they are very rude and always sound like they're miserable, never a smile or a hello. Very unhelpful, and they seem to treat everybody like a criminal, I had to get a painkiller for my broken hand and I went to a Walgreens first that was across the street and they said they were out so I went to the CVS but since it showed they looked it up in the computer first they made me wait an hour to make sure I wasn't some drug dealer I guess.
