No one is more important than anyone else so do what you need to do to remain patient and pleasant to the staff who are working hard to help everyone. Two other pharmacies in Novato have closed in recent years and it seems like everyone has come here now. Lines are long and if you have any issues at pick up they direct you I er to drop off meaning you cannot get one stop resolution. You have to wait in line again. If they have an issue filling your prescription they won't call to ask you anything. It just won't be there when you arrive at pick up time. The Costco pharmacy and either of the other cvs stores in Novato would be a better choice at this point. I'm hoping to get all of my prescriptions transferred out asap. It would be great if cvs corporate would increase staffing and review customer service protocols with existing staff here.

My dogs' vet office communicated my dog's antibiotic would be ready for pickup same day but to call Brava first. I called and was displeased with someone who told me they have certain pick-up times and that it was too late for same day pick-ups, in addition the medication needed to be processed and also they had to figure out the cost of it, which minutes later she found out and charged me for it. Due to her telling me I could not pick up the antibiotic because their pick-up times was over (after 1 PM) I made plans to take my niece to her soccer practice. While at practice at 5 PM a man from Brava calls and informs me the medication is ready for pick-up. They close at 6 PM, there was no possible way I could have made it in time from Berkeley to Novato, at the peak of traffic on a Wednesday. I probably wouldn't have cared as much for a random medication but an antibiotic, in my opinion, is a stat.

Today, I called about prescriptions I'd called in and Natalie answered, she was so kind after listening to my complaining about how my prescriptions and information were transferred to a company without my consent. Her response was so incredibly professional, this is something that is rare today. Kudos to Natalie!!! I'm looking forward to a continued relationship with Rite Aid Pharmacy.

And Natalie the pharmacist who may be the pharmacy manager provides bad customer service and is not a competent pharmacist. Some of the Rite Aid Stores are going out of business. And if this store remains, they should bring in good employees from their other Rite Aids and get rid of Natalie and bad employees at Northgate Pharmacy. Some, but not all of the pharmacy techs and clerks are incompetent and provide bad customer service.

Anyway, Charley, is my favorite pharmacist because he is a gentleman and he is straight with you about your medication if they have it or not, or if they have to order it and how long it might take! I like that because it gives me options about maybe trying another pharmacy if I have to wait a long time! A lot of pharmacists are not so straight with customers and it can screw up their medication plans for the month, especially if you need a ride to the pharmacy! Try Safeway pharmacy if you are having a rough time in lower Marin. They also have a Quest, blood draw lab right in the grocery by the pharmacy! It's great!
