Ive been coming here for years. The pharmacy always has a line but they get around to you. Im hacing an allergic reaction to sunscreen and my doctor prescribed to ointments. One of them is 13 dollars and the other is over 250. When my insurrance refused to cover anything, i asked them to just fill out the 13 dollar ointment and ill pay for it out of pocket.... because my face is on fire. This horrible girl literally just told me to go to another pharmacy, saying she didnt have my medication anyway, then she pretended to send over my rx to another cvs. The other cvs basically did the same thing, but at least they were alot nicer about it. No problems with the store but if they could come and get there carts around the surrounding neighborhoods once in awhile that would be nice. I've called to ask and they have difficulty responding in any decent amount of time. I'm guessing maybe people from the neighborhood brought them back maybe cause they were left on the streets so long. As for the store, it is organized and usually fully stocked. They're also always been fully staffed. The checkout staff are a little more nonchalant, get you in, get you out. They aren't as aggressive about asking for your rewards card when checking out, so if you want your reward points then you'll need to remember yourself. I've always loved CVS because of there great deals and coupons with there rewards card. If you have the time to match there coupons with manufacture coupons you can get things sometimes free. I used to be a big couponer and they were always my go to spot for deals but you gotta follow the ads closely. read more

I have had problems here before, but this was the tipping point. My doctor was to call in 3 prescriptions for diverticulitis. I called CVS yesterday to see their status. They said they had only 1. So I send a message to my doctor blaming him. So I call CVS this morning. Took 8 minutes on hold. Finally got through. They took some time but realized that they, in fact, did have 2 more. First thing out of her mouth was "I didn't work yesterday, will have it ready in 5 minutes". So I go down there expecting a long line, considering the length of time on hold. Not a soul. They dig out my prescriptions. Had the nerve to charge me. I looked at the pharmacist and said "see those, those are the last you will ever fill for me. 8 minutes on hold and 2 days to fill an antibiotic for infection". He then tried to put it on the pandemic, like everyone else providing crap service. So I said "when you see my ass leave the store, it will be the last time my ass is in here. read more

Good service for a CVS. Always a little pricey though. The rewards card is nice. This particular CVS is really behind in new product launches (especially if you are looking for that new makeup item that just came out) and labeling what is/isn't on sale. I shop around at other CVS's and they always have stickers on their products saying 75% or 50% not this one. It's like they don't care. read more

This is my local cvs and I unfortunately had a bad experience. Nothing wrong with the customer service, pharmacy, or products available for sale. My only issue is that they are not enforcing the mask policy which is state mandated. They are enforcing it on customers but I guess the employees are exempt. I hope someone from corporate sees this. read more

I love my shopping at CVS because Derek makes it fun at check out. He is very helpful and he likes to joke around and that's great cause you don't want your shopping experience to be all serious lol. There are 2 other guys there that are super nice but can't remember their names. One has a bald head and always chewing gum (sorry no offense lol) the other guy, older, wears eyeglasses and he is very nice. My review is based off customer service experience. You may find cheaper prices at a discount store but for convenience this place is great especially combining extrabucks with the sales. I am glad they are near housing so we can walk there when we need something quick. read more

This place is good for that quick stop in for makeup, tampons, or whatever else... However, the manager in here is a total jerk. She comes up to me, 'Excuse me, can I help you???" No, but thanks I already found it... Um, we dont have testers for those, and tells me she now has to put them all in the contaminated bin. EXCUSE ME LADY, they were all open before I got there and how am I supposed to find my 'Fit Me Perfect Shade' with no tester?? THEN if that wasnt rude enough, she followed me around the entire store for 20 minutes and counted the items I was carrying and announced them on her walky talky. This is quite possibly the worst CVS. The employees are rude, unhelpful and would prefer to just stand around, they seem quite bothered when actually required to do their job or even asked a question. *The lines are ALWAYS long. *There is never an employee around to ask questions to. *The pharmacy staff needs to be retrained. *there are always bums asking for money out in front of the store. My last visit here was the day before Xmas eve, to print some photos using their instant photo printer machine. After you have chosen to print your pictures on the machine an employee needs to "force" them through by pressing some keys on the machine, I know this because I watched the manager help the customer out before myself. Once I was done, the manager was no where to be found and there were 2 young employees behind the counter and I let them know I was done, I had asked if they needed my receipt. Sam (I believe that was her name) looked at me with a bothered-blank stare and said "I don't know" I asked what she needed from me to print my photos, she again replied "I don't know, I guess I'll call the manager" so, I walked back over to the machine and forced the photo process through myself. After my photos finished printing, I took them to her register, she didn't say a word to me except what my total cash amount was, didn't even offer a sleeve for my photos like they are suppose to. That is the last time I am visiting this run down CVS. I honestly hope they close this store down and build a higher quality pharmacy. read more

I have been a regular at this cvs ever since my family moved go Oceanside. It didn't take the staff long to really consider us a almost part of there family...so what if I spend too much time at cvs. The staff is always pleasent and inquires about the latest to dos in my life. As much as I believe in shopping small and supporting local business I do overlook that because the service and staff here have that small business feel. The pharmacy staff is helpful however the wait sometimes drives me up a wall. I don't want to make multiple trips for my prescriptions. Have them ready as you said they would be. That's the only compliant I do have and that's what prevents them from receiving 5/5 read more

In my 53 years of existence I've never experienced customer service as bad as this place. Within 3 seconds of handing my prescription over to the pharmacist technician I was met with attitude due to the fact that there wasn't a phone number on the prescription. As I attempted to google the Doctors phone number, the pharmacist arrived to inform me that the pharmacy was closing in 15 minutes and they wouldn't be able to fill the prescription without the Doctor's first name and DEA number. As soon as I asked if there was a Manager on duty, the tone of the pharmacist technician changed. I informed her that I was amazed at the way I was being treated and that customers should be treated with a little more empathy. I was merely attempting to get some pain relief for my pet. She informed me that the pharmacist was a floater and that he had been confrontation with customers and employees all day. I can remember when, or if, I have ever experience a professional act in such an unprofessional manner. If you're not happy doing your job, find a profession does, DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR CUSTOMERS! PRACTICE A LITTLE EMPATHY! Worst pharmacy and customer service possible. After calling and confirming it would be ready for pick up and telling them we needed to update our insurance. I asked if I should do it over the phone or in person and she said when we got there would be fine. When we got there they didnt have it ready, and quickly left the window 20 mins later a different lady asked how she can help us. We told her we were picking up and she was oh we are working on it and hung up while we were trying get her attention for to update the insurance. After waiting another 30 min we push the button and she was like oh they are ready we said we need to update the insurance she was like oh you have to come back and do that. Then she called the pharmacist who then blamed us for not telling them we needed to update it and told us we need to leave and come back. The shelves can get a bit messy and disorganized at times, the prices can be pretty high if they aren't having a sale. It's not uncommon for the line to get pretty bad here There was one time when an old person was literally paying with pennies and they only had one associate to check people out...Thankfully she was smart on her feet and was able to take care of other people while this senile old thing painstakingly counted each copper Lincoln. The associates are the high point of this place and my only experience with their younger male manager was pretty bad. I think it was 11 pm and we went in to get beer. I forget what the wording was exactly, but I know he said "We stop selling liquor at (some time I can't remember)", then my buddy said, "oh, that's cool, we are only getting beer." Then he came back with an attitude saying they don't sell beer after a certain time either like we were idiots for assuming beer and liquor would be treated under separate rules. read more

The staff is nice and friendly, some more than others, but welcome to reality, what else is new. Today, I did purchase a box of biore strips that are labeled with a qty of 8, and there were 6 strips inside. Not going to lie, the box had some sort of cvs sensor sticker that looked suspicious and the price was marked down for members and this was the very last box, but no where on the sticker or the price cut did it mention "ey, yur bout to get jipped." read more

The store it self is not the issue. It's the pharmacy. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME, the wait for simply picking up a prescription that's sitting on the shelf, has been at least a 10+ minute wait. The staff is scrambling. This is not their fault. They're obviously understaffed severely. read more

Shorted me 30 pills on a 90 pill supply, staff usually seems like they don't want to be there and annoyed if you ask for assistance, and I have to go through a huge hassle to refill my prescription every month. I never used to have problems with this pharmacy until about 6 months ago. Every month when I go to refill one of my prescriptions they tell me they cant refill it because I need a pre-authorization done with my insurance because I take 3 pills a day and they only will approve 2.6 per say or some bs. They tell me they already submit one to my doctor to complete, then I call my Dr and they say they have received nothing from CVS, so they call my insurance to get one started on their own and the insurance says they have no idea what they are talking about and one is not needed. Every. single. time. Finally, after this last time I called my insurance directly to ask them what the heck was going on since we just did the pre-auth 2 months ago and this keeps coming up, then I have no pills left to take for several days until it gets worked out (on a prescription you are not supposed to abruptly stop taking). They told me not only is there no cap on # of pills per day, but they don't need a pre-auth for ANY medications on my plan. They gave me a 800 number to have the pharmacy call, then magically an hour later I get a text that my prescription has been refilled. What bothers me is that when I called in the refill 5 days earlier, they never called me or anything to say they were having problems refilling so I could contact my Dr. and try and get it sorted out. Anyway, I picked it the last prescription through the drive-through, then a couple of days later I was looking at the bottle and thought...hmm this does not look full enough to be 90 pills. So I count them and sure enough there were only 51 pills in my 90 pill prescription (after taking them for 3 days). I thought I was crazy when I ran out early last month since I never take more than I should (no reason to even if someone wanted to, its not something that would get me high or anything like that). Now I realize they probably shorted me last month as well. So now I am out 10 days worth of pills on a 30 day prescription, which is completely unacceptable! I wonder how many people they have done this to. I am moving my prescription to another pharmacy immediately and will never come back to CVS for a prescription again. Horrible, horrible service. Save yourself a headache and find another pharmacy. read more

Pharmacy staff appears to be challenged by the English language. Long story short, gave them a prescription and a competitor's $25 coupon. They were "checking" on whether they'd honor it and took the coupon (then lost it). Then I went back in 25 minutes and they didn't fill my prescription! Great job, don't go here! Sadly, their language skills were probably the biggest leap - Wherever dude went to school, the teachers didn't expect too much from him. I love CVS personally! This location is the closest one to my home, so it's the one I go to most offer. The building is fairly new (last 5-10yrs) and inside the store is always well kept, organized, and stocked. I coupon here quite regularly and the staff is amazing!!! They are all so nice and friendly and patience (given that you are too, you receive what you dish) and understanding of my request - I try not to be too annoying (separate transactions the number of coupon etc) they all know me and say hi to me and my baby when I walk in (but they always greet everyone anyways) they build friends in the community. My doctor's office submitted an electronic prescription to my local CVS pharmacy for me early on Friday. I called to check on the prescription on that evening and the pharmacy just said "it is not filled yet." I gave it some time and called back on Saturday. The response I got this time was that it could not be filled yet and I should call back tomorrow (Sunday). So I called back today (Sunday) and I find out that they didn't have my medication in stock from the beginning. They knew this on FRIDAY! And they did not bother to tell me. If I had known that it was out of stock I could have asked my doctor's office to forward the prescription to another pharmacy. I am now on my 3rd day without my medication. This is not the first time CVS has delayed the refill of a prescription, but it will be the last. I am cancelling all of my prescription business with them and taking my business elsewhere. read more

I picked up a prescription today and when I got home and opened it I found that it was incomplete. I called the cvs and they basically accused me of lying. If you plan on using the pharmacy here then you would be wise to count out your medicine in front of them because it might be incomplete. I would advise against it.
