5 stars simply because they have a 24 hour pharmacy here, and that's crucial because sickness does not necessarily operate during business hours only. Right after I left One Medical in Los Angeles around 11 AM, I arrived at this place sometime shortly after 12 noon. Traffic sucks in LA. I reinforce my 5 star rating of this CVS since my prescription was ready to pick up by the time that I got here. Also, place is clean. I don't know, what else do you write about drug stores? Lol. Other remarks: - My Android Pay didn't work here. Not a deal breaker per se, but wanted to point it out. - Mobile app is almost 60 megabytes no idea why, but I can't hold their mobile app negatively to the review of their physical business. - Something something there was a line here but it didn't matter for me since my prescription was filled digitally. - Plenty of parking - Right off the 210 freeway. - If you're not digital in the year 2017, I don't know what to tell you, writing 1 star reviews on Yelp for a drugstore for your unwillingness to adapt seems pretty self explanatory in itself. read more

If I could give a negative zero I would. They are incompetent, rude and lack the necessary skills to perform their jobs at the lowest level. Tommy was ringing up our purchases and when it got to over $700.00 we asked him about it, he didn't even look up at us and sent us directly to the lady ten feet away so she could re-bill the purchase. She checks the insurance which should have been done in the first place then placed our order in a different spot and we have to wait again for the incompetent person to assist us once again. my family and i have been coming to this cvs for over 20 years. the staff have always been friendly and kind, until today!!! a snobby, snooty, ugly everything cashier lady by the name of "SUMMER A" claiming that she is the manager because she refused to get us an actual manager for us to speak to. when i came up to the register, i asked for a price check on a squishmallow please and she replied, "i don't do price checks!!!!" she then directed me to a machine which i have never used before. the whole time she was so nasty thinking that she's god's gift to mankind. she never helped us once!!! They don't have customer service, but when you need something and they are the only store open and close enough to get what you need you can't complain when you're there. Just go in and get what you need then leave as fast as possible. So avoid this place and go to Target before it closes for the evening. read more

My check ins may only be two but it's because I really just want to leave this store. This is the most poorly organized store. The workers look completely miserable under the fluorescent lighting. Every time I ask for help they seem to be unaware of where anything is at all. I have been here a few times mainly for prescriptions and cold medicines. Whats the point of having a 24 hour pharmacy if you cant fill freggin prescriptions??? I work in LA so my dental appt was there, during which I got a root canal.I had to go back to work after, anf by the time I make it home the numbness is wearing, and pain kicking in. I got to your pharmacy to fill a prescription for Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen. The lady looks at my prescription and says "The office is in LA, its too far and its too late to verify." Lady, wtf am i gonna do with Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen besides have a painless comfortable evening? Now i have to count ok Vodka to take the pain away, thank you. My experience picking up my medication was fine, but the person in front of me was treated horribly because he was a Spanish speaker. The pharmacist Debbie A. clearly displayed her frustration that English wasn't his native tongue. She talked to him as if he was a child and talked about him to others around her as if he wasn't there right in front of her picking up prescriptions for his sick children that had a flu. I had a short conversation while waiting in line and it frustrates me so much that he was treated so poorly because he seemed like such a caring, hardworking dad that is doing his best to help his family. He didn't deserve to be treated like this. He may not complain because of the language barrier that lays between him, but I WILL COMPLAIN AND ADVOCATE FOR BETTER SERVICE FOR NONENGLISH SPEAKERS. CVS PLEASE IMPLEMENT PROPER TRAINING ON HOW YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD HANDLE THIS FORM OF SITUATION!!!!! SoCal has a lot of Spanish speaking individuals who cannot always speak up for themselves and social injustices like this are constantly overlooked. I wish I could leave a 0 star review, because it really warrants one. I went to a nearby urgent care to get some help with an ear infection, which took 4 hours, so I was already sorta annoyed, anyway, I got there and everything was ok, but there was only 1 tech at the pharmacy, and a huge line. Once I finally got up to the front(45 minutes later) the pharmacist told me that I had the wrong insurance card. He then proceeded to tell me that the medicine I needed was very expensive($85) and then we asked him if I could get the information he needed by calling our insurance company and he said "maybe but you probably won't get through in time because I am going to lunch in 5 minutes. So it would be $85 or that." I'm not even joking. We asked for our prescription back and left immediately. I'd rather wait overnight in pain than deal with that much rude behavior. read more

This place really needs a break down on customer service. The woman behind the counter informed me that my daughter's medication wasn't covered by her primary Insurance. I had her run her secondary.. she informed me that it wasn't active. She got on the phone with anthem and followed up with that the insurance was no good. Mind you, my daughter is crying because she is sick . . I called anthem myself and they said that my insurance was fine... the lack of compassion and help really got to me. The pharmacy is the most incompetently run operation I have ever encountered. I've been coming here for 15 years and only in the past year has the staff completely disinagrated into a nightmare. Ive been treated rudely every time I go pick up my monthly medications for me and my family. The staff truly goes out of their way to not help people. Today, they found a reason not to fill an elderly woman's prescription because they would have to order it after making her stand waiting for over 45 minutes with no customers ahead of her in both the pick up line and drop off line. Then they denied filling mine even though my ID matched the prescription. I should have ran when our family doctor told us they were atrocious and recommended we go elsewhere. Well now I will never shop or use a cvs. This place is a disgrace to our community standards. As our family company provides medical equipment for most of the local doctors we will be spreading the word to send their patients elsewhere so that they may be treated with dignity and avoid having to be treated so poorly. Beyond disappointed and disgusted with how downhill this place has gone. read more

This review is for the photo center only. About a week before Christmas I came into the photo center to make a calendar for my mom's Christmas gift just as I do every year. I reviewed all of the options listed and proceeded to make a double sided calendar. I finish up and take my receipt to the cashier. There is no barcode on the receipt so the cashier calls the day shift photo person and I am told that the option I selected can not be printed in store and will take 2 weeks make but that someone would call me the following day to confirm. Great, I won't have it till Christmas. There were no notifications in store or at the the photo kiosk that stated that the option chose couldn't be printed in store. The following events ensued: - Next day: the store manager called me and said that it would in fact take 2 weeks to print my calendar and basically said it's my fault for not knowing that when I selected this particular calendar option. Maybe put some signage up! - 2 days later: cvs called again and said that they can't make my calendar at all and I have to come back to the store and pick another option. - 1 week later, now past Christmas: I go after work, select a different option and ask the night manager if the one I chose can be printed in store. He didn't know and there was no one from the photo staff there. He said to come during the day. Ummmm I work full time so that's not possible. I again finish up and take my receipt to the cashier and this time it prints in store. Yes! But not so fast, no one there knows how to put the calendar together so I leave with a bunch of loose pages and have to put it together at home. I paid $20 for mediocre quality pictures and for poor service. I was extremely disappointed with the customer sevice. It would be smart to have an employee in the photo center during the holidays who knows what they are doing. I will not be using this sevice again. read more

Me and my family have been getting our medications here for 10+ years, just for the occasional antibiotics usually. It's close to our house so we just automatically choose this pharmacy. It's ALWAYS been bad. Waits are horrendous, they always give you a false wait time, and now the last 2 times I've come here for my babies antibiotics they've made typing errors on the dosage amount on the label. Luckily, I'm a technician as well and catch these things a little more easily than someone who is completely trusting in the pharmacy (like you should be anyways!) I'm making a conscious effort to try Walgreens next time. read more

When did things get so bad? I understand that it's cold and flu season but my experience today was ridiculous. Our doctor sent in the prescription over an hour before I went in to pick it up. I got there, awesome, no lines. I went up to the counter and asked to check to see that our insurance information was up to date and the person helping me quickly looked it up and assured me that everything was good. Great! Then she said they were still working on the prescriptions and they will be done in about 15 minutes. We walked around the store for 20 minutes or so when we finally heard my name called and we then made our way back to the pick up line. Then, everything went downhill from there. After waiting in line the cashier let me know that they were still waiting on the second prescription. Hello, then why did they call us? I watched as she asked the pharmacist, Phillip how long. Annoyed, he said 2 minutes so I stepped aside and waited. 20 minutes passed, still waiting and watching as every single customer who made their way to the register was was turned away because their prescription wasn't ready. Some of them called in earlier that day, others dropped theirs off the day before, another person was told 2 days prior that it would take an hour, he came back today and it still wasn't ready for him. Each time, I watched as the cashier walked over and asked about a prescription and each time the self absorbed pharmacist turned it around and placed blame on the cashier. I waited for the line to disappear and made my way back to the register. The lady who was helping me (and everyone else) was clearly new and not very well trained. She walked over to Phillip, the pharmacist once again to check the status. Once again, he didn't make eye contact with her, looked annoyed with her and then yelled to me, across the pharmacy, again avoiding eye contact that he will get to it in a minute (in so many words) Very rude, and very unprofessional and now I'm pissed! I took it upon myself to inform him that every person I've seen go through here for the past twenty minutes had left (or should I should say got left waiting) had been left very unsatisfied in their tact and competence. Phillip proceeded to argue from across the pharmacy, no eye contact mind you. There was no way at this point that I was going to step aside and wait another 20 minutes and he knew that. Then, magically in a matter of 2 minutes my prescription appeared, hand delivered by another, very sweet pharmacist because Phillip can't take credit for his own negative actions. After all was said and done, our "fifteen minute wait" turned into an hour and a half! Needless to say, as long as this Phillip character is in this pharmacy, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I, myself have worked with the public and in customer service for nearly 20 years. I understand when people have off days, I don't believe that the customer is always right and I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this experience today was completely unprofessional, incompetent and very uncalled for. read more
