I've been searching for a decent pharmacy for what seems like forever. I've been here for a couple months. You can never get through on the phone. There is always a line. I was text my script was ready so went and waited 20 minutes in the pick up line. The pharmacist pulled someone from the store and put them at the head of the line. Finally it was my turn. They tell me they have no prescription. I told them I got the text. They told me their screen can't look it up that I have to stand in the drop off line. BS... last time I was here she found my scripts. So don't waste your time. Keep looking for a pharmacy that gives a crap about the customers. read more

Just about the worst customer service at the pharmacy. Woman in front constantly has an attitude and I've been picking up meds here for over a year. Every time she hands me my meds she just shoves it towards me and NEVER says anything; meaning never a "thanks" or "have a good day". Not to mention I always have to wait at least 40 minutes to pick anything up. Also, cosmetic section isn't stoppable because they are constantly out of stock. read more

Nice new pharmacy but nasty grounds, trash over flowing and in dire need of hosing down of dried fluids of unknown origin. Head pharmacist is a grim woman with a sour soul. Pharmacist Jad is great. One of pharmacy staff had a rare case of B.O. Ack! You can't make this stuff up. CVS management has no concern for this store and it shows it. Understaffed with already broken fixtures. Note duct tape holding shopping cart bay together. CVS is next door to new Raley's with upper end shoppers. This place should be a gold mine. Best bet, try Folsom CVS across from Trader Joe's. read more

This is the last time I'm using this pharmacy. They are constantly changing their procedures and it's always a multiple step process of calling in, being told one thing, following what they say, calling in again, and then being told something completely different. I'm waiting for a prescription to be refilled when they sent me a message saying it would be ready two days ago. When I called again to double check they said it couldn't be released yet and to pick it up the next morning. We found one more pill as emergency backup. Just showed up to get prescription AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO WAIT 30 MINUTES BECAUSE I DIDNT CALL IT IN!!!!!! I'm done! I've been patient for over a year dealing with them because it's the closest to the house. read more

I have previously gone to this very location for my first prescription of Zoloft to help with my depression. For a little context to go with what I'm about to share, another name for Zoloft is sertraline. I go to this very same pharmacy to get more Zoloft to last me a few more days because I've been having trouble getting into contact with a clinic to get a prescription. I called ahead of time to see if they did this and the pharmacist I spoke with on the phone confirmed it. I go up to the counter and explain to the woman my situation and she says she'll look up my information and do what she can. I tell her I needed Zoloft and after looking up my history, she apologizes and says she can't help me because I'm on their records for sertraline.. I try to fish out the bottle they gave me for my first prescription and I see the name sertraline and try to show her but she waved me off and didn't even bother to look at the bottle and stressed that they can't help me. Well, if she had looked at the bottle, I can guarantee that she could have helped me instead of waving me off. read more

I came in to pick up my prescription a couple of days ago and as expected there was a wait time. This is a pharmacy people, not a fast food drive through. Many people's lives and wellbeing is in their hands. Both pharmacists are amazing and are always helpful. Great team! Ignore all these bad reviews, they're isolated incidences that are inevitable in any work place. read more

This CVS just opened, and you can tell. On the inside it is spacious and quite large. Much larger than the old one caddy corner next to the Safeway. The store seems to be well organized, not nearly as messy as other more established CVS stores. I had an issue finding Athletes foot medicine, and I had to search a bit for someone to help. But the gentleman at the front counter was very friendly, and overall the employees there were helpful. The location also isn't the most convenient. I took a left off of Howe, and then had to cut way over to the right to get into the parking lot. This street corner is a nightmare at rush hour, and it looks to me like there are accidents just waiting to happen, especially when the add the Raleys and the Coffee Shop. Get to this CVS soon before the finish construction off the rest of the shopping center! read more

The staff is extremely rude, I waited for assistance in the makeup department because the most of the cosmetics are locked up for over 15 minutes after i was told someone would be right over to help me so i wasted my majority of my lunch break on what should have been a quick trip to cvs. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this location but i thought I'd give it another try, I've learned my lesson read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager was very rude and very racist. I will never go to this location again. I noticed several reviews that would give zero stars and I see why. I never write yelp reviews but after my experience I felt I had to. The manager's and clerks elitism and superiority complex was just too much and certainly NOT customer service oriented and was anti-disabled as well. Terrible staff and terrible location. I would be surprised if that location ends up shutting down for lack of patronage. I'm one of several poor yelp reviews and they are truly worthy of every bad yelp review they get. read more

I had the most helpful experience at this location. I needed electric dishwasher detergent soap and the staff was so helpful. They even showed me where it was. At the register I received a very good discount about 1/3 of the price by putting my phone number in. I highly recommend this place read more

I recently moved to Sacramento and had to transfer my long list of drugs for a chronic disease. I found the pharmacy to be slow to respond, overwhelmed with people when I actually visit the pharmacy and downright neglectful. Somebody needs to thoroughly manage the pharmacy area. Maybe having a drive in, walk up service, and online service is just too much. I will be moving my service as soon as possible. read more

This has to be the worst CVS in the country. Staff that barely speak English, rude people behind the pharmacy counter and the slowest place ever! Doc called in 2 prescriptions at 3 pm. We arrived to pick them up at 4:30. Girl at drive up window said only one was ready and to come back in a half an hour. Came back a half an hour later and was told pharmacist was at lunch and we would have to wait as we were picking up a narcotic and they could not sell it without the Pharmacist being present. Came back 45 minutes later and we were told we could not pick it up because the tox screen was not back. WHY didn't they tell us this at 4:30 pm. 2 hours of our life we can never get back because of stupid people. read more

I am stuck with this pharmacy it is close and should be convenient. I have over 18 times asked to not have any of my RX's on auto fill. I logged in today because I must call in 1 RX a month and of course they filled 5 RX's I do not need. I am in and out of the hospital take everything on time, but need to control when I refill. How hard is that? I literally had to remove my phone # from there system it was a fight but I received so many auto messages during recovery they were waking me up night and day. The behavior bordered on harassment. So my call today I was told she put in the order, but they were out. This is the 3rd time they were out of something basic. I asked can you do a partial fill. NO and no explanation, I asked can you transfer to another CVS NO and no explanation. When I can walk and can drive again I will find a competent Pharmacy. I must pay by the hour for a care person to help me now $30.00 minimum and I will now have to pay for another visit. 1 star is generous most of the staff are rude, but there have been a few super nice, but they do not last long. read more

Compared to other CVS locations this fair oaks Blvd locations has horrible customer service and unacceptable turn over time for filling prescriptions. There is no effenciency. What should take 20 minutes to fill an electronically sent prescription takes days, weeks or when you finally show up to pick it up. I receive messages that my order is ready and it is not. I worry about children in need of their epi pens for example and having to wait 30 plus minutes for it to be ready a week after it's been electronically sent from their doctors office or elderly people in need of blood pressure medication. There needs to be a change. read more

The pharmacy here is a joke! I dropped off a prescription @ 830a and said I wouldn't be back @ 1p to pick up before a Dr appt. They said it would be ready. I show up @ 1:15p. The pharmacy tech said the full prescription wasn't ready. She can't even give me half of the prescription bc pharmacist has to review it with me and he/she isn't avail for another 20 mins!? Yeah, I have nothing better to do than wait around for you to get your act together!?!!!! Frustrating!!! Avoid this pharmacy unless you have time to kill .... read more

Had an appointment on 07/15/21 4:10 PM for COVID test for my daughter. We arrived 20 minutes early and were not seen until 4:30 PM. Pharmacy told us we would receive an email to set up a mychart account to get our results. When I had not received an email by the next morning, I contacted them and the automated message told me that they do not provide mychart accounts for minors but I would receive my results via text message in 3-4 days. This was supposed to be a 72-hour test for travel. She had the test on Thursday and left Sunday. We had to go elsewhere to get her results in time for her trip. I received a telephone call (not text message) today, Monday, that our results were ready. When I called the number back to get the results, they said they were still pending. When I texted the results number, it also says her results are not ready. If you are trying to get a COVID test for travel, I cannot recommend the CVS pharmacy at this location. read more

Bad all around -- bad location (difficult to get in and out of) and LONG wait times even if you call in ahead; even if NO ONE else is there! Always an hour wait. They were a little better at the previous location but maybe they have downsized their pharmacy staff when they moved. Now it's an hour wait minimum without exception. I will be moving my prescription to a new pharmacy ASAP. The service, however has usually been friendly (hence, the 2nd star). read more

This CVS is huge, it's kind of tricky to get in out and of but maybe because this area is still under construction. Great location since so many people have to pass this area, super busy intersection. I have to go this way when dropping off and picking up my nephew from school at Sac country day. I have to bribe him with snacks so he doesn't get all bunged up. read more

Pharm tech said she's not sure if my medical will cover one of my meds. But she'll double check (never tell someone this before double checking). It turned out she selected the wrong med. That automatically made me distrust the whole pharmacy. The worse part is they didn't even go over my meds with me! I don't know if the is a legal policy to review meds with clients. I know the pharmacy at Raleys ALWAYS will go through the perception before handing off the meds. Everyone there looked miserable and sad. Never coming back, had more expectation since it's somewhat a new cvs. Big disappointment. read more

I went in to buy a couple of things but when I got to check out I was forced to use my credit card because the chip on my card didn't work. the girl who was helping me didn't know how to enable me to manually enter the card information so I so asked her to get the supervisor. the supervisor said that "they didn't allow this to be done on their machines/store". Their card machine allowed three attempts with the chip and was then supposed to allow me to use the magnetic strip which was working on my card. But the machine errored-out when I went to swipe. Instead of allowing me to manually enter (I had the card with the exp date and the CVV number as well as my dl)which I have done in the past or fixing the error on the machine I had to either leave without my items or I had to use my cc. Given the current state of things I didn't want to have to make another trip so I was forced to use my cc. Not very helpful. I understand the need for security but this seems like they were just trying to be difficult. read more

Im not sure why this CVS has such a low rating. Im constantly impressed by the professionalism of the pharmacy staff. Today was very busy and there was only one pharmacist. He had his hands full, but his calm and efficient demeanor made everyone relax while he took care of everything. I was very impressed with the excellent customer service provided. Especially since they were obviously low staff and under a lot of pressure. I like this pharmacy. read more

EVERYBODY has been extremely helpful to me with my move to Sacramento! The pharmacist and all of the pharmacy employees have gone above and beyond with their efforts to make this a smooth transition for me and not miss a refill, and the store employees are always friendly and help me find things by taking me right to them. Customer service at the pharmacy is dreadful. Complained to the "manager" who didn't want to hear it. Suggested if I wasn't happy to take my prescriptions elsewhere. Despite this CVS' very convenient location, we'll be moving our prescriptions to the Rite Aid on Fulton and plan to never set foot in CVS again. read more

First time in this store. 3 people working there. Asian girl was extremely helpful and had an awesome personality. Melissa was a total bitch who refused to speak to me but glared during the ring up of sale. I felt completely judged and absolutely NOT WELCOME ever here. I live across the street from here. I will be changing all prescriptions within our home with elders, from this cvs to rite aid on fulton avenue. She was completely unprofessional and rude. She also rang me up for alchohol without asking for I'd. I look 20. This store has no hope for survival. I even asked her if she sold zonnic brand smoking cessation gum. I have had nothing but a HORRIBLE experience with this CVS. First off, I have a bit of a complicated situation being type 1 diabetic and on welfare insurance, I get that. But these Pharmacy employees have been nothing but rude, and every time I go in there they treat me like I'm less than. I damn near broke down in tears trying to explain that I need my meds to live. Thank goodness there was one woman later in age with enough compassion to go above and beyond to help me. I REALLY wish I remembered her name. She salvaged what was left of my bad experience with the Pharmacy. I thought that was the end of it, but now, here I am a month later...I'm on the phone, ON HOLD, have been for 15 minutes...having enough time to write this entire review (with much thought). It's really ridiculous how awful the customer service is here. Definitely switching to my old pharmacy who mails my meds & definitely calling the better business bureau.
