I came in for a routine shop for "cosmetics", and I have no clue about cosmetics, so I was lost! Rachelle helped me all of the way, even though some of the items were out of stock she knew where everything was in the store! I was very appreciated and happy how she took the time to help me, a man that had no clue! The downside to the whole experience was not anything that had to do with the store, the company would not approve the credit I was shopping with which was not for me, but someone else!! So my hour plus was in vain, but even though I was very frustrated Rachelle still had a smile! She never complained about having to re-stock everything, and gave me great customer service in spite of everything going south! So I figured I'd buy some a essentials since I was there! Highly recommend to come here with walk ins for flu and vaccines! The pharmacist whose help was super appreciated, Helen, administered the shots with great professionalism. She was super kind and informative and the whole process was super quick! My mom is usually scared of shots and both she and I were surprised how well the process went and that it was not painful. On June 16 I came to pick up a prescription. Seeing a long list of coupon on the receipt, I strolled to the snack aisle and picked up a few things. As I walked toward the checkout, the cashier lady called to me from where she was tidying the merchandise 'I'll be right there'. As she helped me check out, somehow the barcodes on the coupons were mushy and can't be scanned. She was so patient in keying the code manually that I felt bad not to be patient myself! Although the pharmacy receipt printer probably needs some work, this lady's dedication saved the day! read more

Always a nightmare in the pharmacy and the store is so bare, it looks like they are going out of business. Prescriptions are never ready when promised and lord help you if there is anything extra they have to do. One gentleman behind the counter can never find my name despite both first and last being very common and easily spelt. He always has to go to a seperate computer to check on a rx that is ready. This is all after waiting more than 5 minutes for them to actually acknowledge there is someone waiting for help and a line building at the counter. If bare minimum pharmacy services are what you are looking for, please go to Valley Med. I've heard the experience there is a nightmare but better than any CVS or this joke of a location. read more

ZERO stars. This pharmacy location does not answer phone calls, which is incredibly problematic for customers. It is crucial that clients be able to communicate with the pharmacy to ask questions or solve medication issues. I don't know how it is allowed to happen. I've broken down and DRIVEN to this location to ask the pharmacist a question, and have witnessed elderly clients ask why they can't reach anyone on the phone. It is clearly an unspoken understanding among the staff that they just ignore phone calls. So completely unethical. I understand phone calls are probably annoying, but they are crucial! Please, please, PLEASE, somebody instruct the staff here to answer phone calls. It's been a problem for years. I've even switched my prescriptions to other locations to avoid this particular store site. Ultimately, I switched to Alto, because the communication was so impossible here. I waited more than 10 min for the only person in the store to open the lock for me while she continue to serve the next, and then next, and then next customer? I got fed up and left. I had a minor incident when I was working out and stopped off here to pick up some pain relief around 8.30 in the morning. I startled the pharmacist with a question which was not my intention and I felt bad. She did point me in the right direction though and I was in and out fairly quickly. Getting to the parking is a bit of a pain because of how the intersection is laid out. read more

Came here solely for passport photos and I HIGHLY recommend this place. From the moment I walked in I was approached by one of the staff Andrew H asking if I needed help. Super kind and communicative. Andrew was helping another customer with photos too and made sure I knew I'd be helped next. Andrew was also aware of other folx needing help and informed other staff to come help. Overall great customer service. I'm terms of the passport process it was super fast with no issues. read more

I am sure if you have made the mistake of sending your prescriptions to this store you have dealt with the fool. She should get some customer service training or honestly just stop serving customers. She was charging $80 dollars for a prescription that was supposed to be covered by insurance. We had to ask her why the charge was so high to get an answer. I mean seriously yeah we love to come in to experience your ugly attitude. Save your money and go elsewhere. I don't know how many people have probably gotten ripped off by this idiot. So frustrated with CVS. Scheduled an appointment for my 2nd booster. I qualify based on medical status, not age. Scheduled the appointment online - easy. Answered the questions, validated the immunocompromised status on questions. No additional information requested. Showed up for appointment today, pharmacist wouldn't do vaccine because I didn't have an email from my doctor. I wasn't about to sign into my EHR records and let him peruse my medical files. Nothing online when I scheduled stated that I needed an email, letter, or other validation from my physician to proceed with vaccine. If this is CVS policy, it should be clear when scheduling the appointment. I would have happily printed something out to bring with me, but did not appreciate being grilled at the pharmacy counter with many other patrons around. Completely unprofessional and a violation of my privacy. It should be clear when scheduling that you will need to arrive with additional information in hand. A complete waste of my time today, and a waste of an appointment that could have been used for someone else. Verified with Walgreens that they do not require me to show up with anything from the doctor, just validate the information in the online questionnaire. If you need a pharmacy that is consistently slow filling orders, understaffed, and doesn't answer their phone then this is the place for you. I had been waiting for one of my prescriptions to go from "processing" to "filled" for 4 days until I eventually ran out of the medication. I tried calling to check if it was ready, but after getting transferred to the pharmacy line, it just hangs up on you. Don't bother calling. When I went in, the pharmacist informed me it wasn't ready yet. I told her I had been waiting four days for it to be filled and she told me she was out sick for 3 weeks and so they were weeks behind filling prescriptions. I'm not sure what that had to do with me needing my refill, but I sure hope they get some help soon. read more

This pharmacy never answers the phone. I called several times & phone system transfers to their voice mail. You can't speak directly to anyone in the pharmacy department. After trying several times for my grandmother who just got discharge from hospital & needs her heart medication right away...I giving up. They won't answer the phone. It's an automated system. Perhaps there's no staff working today. It's not the first time, they are understaffed & CVS management doesn't care to address it. Utterly the worse customer service. I would give zero stars if I could. For the last several months this location has not been serving anybody at the drive-through. What's the point of having a drive-through if it's always closed? When queried the employees say they are short staffed. This may will be the case but they are the only drive-through location within 10 miles. What makes it even worse is that there are about 6 different locations within 2 miles and One is just a block over. But none of them have drive thru. Have pity on the mother who has a carloadload of kids and doesn't want to have to offload them just to run into pick up a prescription or two. The overall experiences were fine, many people came here and asked for the prescriptions fill out due to the unusual early fall seasons. The counter medications does help some younger generations and elderly populations to combat during the flu seasons. The pharmaceutical techs did well by answering many questions in regarding to their medical concerns. But there are bunch of youngest interfered the workers by asking too many passport or photo questions. This is the pharmaceutical place, but some younger generations doesn't understand that. read more

This review is for the COVID-19 Drive-thru testing. I made the appointment online for 1pm and arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. There was a line of about 6 cars ahead of me. The line moved excruciatingly slow. We finally made it to the window at 1:35pm. The process after that was very quick. The employee requested the insurance card, ID, and confirmation code (found in email sent after scheduling the appointment). Once that was verified the employee checked us in and put together the test kit). Once ready she opened the box and a test kit rolled up with a rubber band and asked if we watched the YouTube video they send you by email about the process before you go get the test done. I responded yes and grabbed the kit. After completing the swab you place it in the front pocket of the bag with the barcode. The swab trash goes on the back pocket. I rolled it up again and put the rubber band back on and the employee asked me drop it in the white container right by the drive-thru window. The container was full but able to fit my test in. After that you are done and wait for your test results. The wait was about 40 minutes to reach the drive-thru window on my visit. The wait was very long. Once you reach an employee the process is very quick. The employee noted we'd receive the results in 1-2 days. I got our results in 2 days. read more

My review was for their covid-19 testing. I decided to just go with the flow and get a test via appointment since I have asthma. My appointment was at 9:20 AM and the NP gave me a call at 9:15 AM to get some info and remind me of my appointment. She was super helpful, kind and courteous. The process was super simple, she made it super easy and very friendly throughout the entire process. If anyone needs and can get an appointment for covid-19 drive thru testing at this location, please do! The NP was amazing and made it very comfortable throughout the entire time. read more

I did the cov19-test at cvs on Saratoga on Saturday and by Wednesday I still have not received the results so I called cvs pharmacy. The gentleman at the pharmacy told me that they just did the test but for the result I needed to call quest. I called Quest and could not get to a human In order to ask for the result. I finally went to Sutter Health to test and got the result next day. Maybe I was unlucky but definitely will not go back to cvs. If I have to call Quest why don't I just go to Quest in the first place. And calling Quest is a painful experience. read more

The employee in charge of the photo counter provides excellent customer service! I visited another cvs pharmacy in Santa Clara to take passport photos of my 5 month old and they told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have the right equipment to take photos of my baby. I called around to other CVS locations and they referred me to this location. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and the employee at the photo counter (young man) was extremely helpful, patient and went above and beyond until we got the photo just right. Also note that this location didn't have any special equipment to take my son's passport photos, but what they did have was an excellent employee who was willing to try his best to help us! read more

I go to the CVS because it is near me. It's not great as far as quality of the store and organization of products on the shelves, but I'm usually there for the pharmacy. They all seem very overworked, but trying to be as friendly as possible while, probably being exhausted, they have answered any questions that I had without making me feel like a nuisance. The pharmacy and drive through are horribly inefficient. When calling about a medication recall text I received from them, the pharmacist had no clue what I was talking about then after a 15 min call with long waits, finally knew what it was but not without a bunch of back and forth with me throwing out guesses of what it could be. Based on her recommendation, I'm in the drive through line, which was 5 cars long when I arrived. I've now been waiting 30+ min for only 4 cars to be served and still have 1 left in front of me. I really dislike leaving bad reviews but want others to know so they can be prepared. I would have gone into the store with a mask and been done but have been blocked in this drive through line by others that probably also thought this could be efficient. read more

I am in dire need of Claritin "D" for my very bad allergies. I asked if I could pick up Claritin "D" at the drive thru window if I had all the IDs and such needed in the store. I was told "NO!" I asked for some consideration in the matter due to my advanced age? Again "NO!" was the instant answer. I almost didn't call this CVS to reorder because it has been so difficult the last two times. Thought about transferring my rx's to the CVS inside Target - across the street. But I thought I'd give it one last try. Sorry I did. Tried to do a basic refill of two fairly common Rx's. No glaucoma eye drops - have to order and wait 4 days and she had the nerve to tell me I didn't pick up the rx in July so she'd have to resubmit it. Huh - read the review from July. CVS didn't have the eye drops then either - had to wait several days, make a few calls to the doctor so they wouldn't think I was over-ordering and then picked them up. Looking at the box as we speak. The other Rx they closed! Tech (Liz) said it had expired. Nope. CVS closed the prescription when it had 4 refills left on it and doesn't expire until next year. Then Liz had the nerve to tell me I was giving her a hard time. Really? Well - I think CVS is giving ME a hard time. read more

Got a call today that they're canceling my Covid-19 testing in 5 days because they have a staff shortage. "You can try kyla.com". Great! Sounds easier than counting 1, 2, 3. They cannot transfer my schedule to another store even after I told them I needed this test to attend a company meeting in NYC and it must be performed between 72 to 50 hours before the meeting or I may have to cancel my flight and hotel bookings because of it. I have no idea what customer service means to these people, they have the time to call everyone to cancel but not the time to assess their situation before accepting bookings. My advice to CVS: treat your staff well and make sure they treat the customers well. Allow stores to stop Covid testing well ahead of the time if staffing is an issue, it's better than abandoning the customers like this. read more

I sent refills on 5/6 and doctor approved four refills. I picked up on 5/15. Nothing. The pharmacist said auto refills on 5/18 by insurance. I paid one medicine by myself because it is important for me. I visited on 5/20 to pick 4 refills promised on 5/18 today. I got nothing. One medicine rejected by insurance, because only one allowed and doctor asked two. And I can't get other three refills. I got confused. The four refills in one case. One refill rejected and other three rejected? The pharmacist asked the doctor call insurance, not her business. She only care about if she can get the payment for insurance. She didn't want to help patients for a work around. Finally she can give me one refill but pick it up tomorrow. She will be off duty soon. !!! read more

This is a nice CVS. It is fairly new so it is well stocked and clean. I especially like how friendly the staff is here. The pharmacy staff took their time to help me find some medication and walked me through the dosage. Some CVS pharmacies rush you out but they did not make me feel rushed here. I would definitely come back to this location for my medicine. read more
