I sent refills on 5/6 and doctor approved four refills. I picked up on 5/15. Nothing. The pharmacist said auto refills on 5/18 by insurance. I paid one medicine by myself because it is important for me. I visited on 5/20 to pick 4 refills promised on 5/18 today. I got nothing. One medicine rejected by insurance, because only one allowed and doctor asked two. And I can't get other three refills. I got confused. The four refills in one case. One refill rejected and other three rejected? The pharmacist asked the doctor call insurance, not her business. She only care about if she can get the payment for insurance. She didn't want to help patients for a work around. Finally she can give me one refill but pick it up tomorrow. She will be off duty soon. !!! read more

This is a nice CVS. It is fairly new so it is well stocked and clean. I especially like how friendly the staff is here. The pharmacy staff took their time to help me find some medication and walked me through the dosage. Some CVS pharmacies rush you out but they did not make me feel rushed here. Incredible customer service experience thanks to the even more incredible Denise! She was full of joy and fun, turning a snafu at the self-checkout into a genuinely pleasurable shopping interaction. Andrew was so helpful when I needed to print photos. I had to go back and bring it on a USB because their computers struggle to recognize hard drives for some reason. It was clear though this store is understaffed. There was another employee chatting it up outside with a customer and Andrew was the only one who could help me with photos while also ringing up customers at the cashier and directing people to the right aisle. Brand new CVS now open! Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Pharmacy staff is a lot faster here than most other CVS's I've been to. I was very surprised to see how modern the inside of the building looks considering most other drugstores look old and worn down. Tmvery poor phone service . . Called with a prescription issue, was put on hold for 18 minutes, NEVER got through. Called again, they never picked up. Finally got thru on 3rd call at around 8:30 PM. Unreasonable to have a customer wait 18 minutes for help and then give up. Maybe they need another pharmacy clerk. Service in store is generally fine. read more

The pharmacy customer service is poor. A refill request sent by my doctor was still waiting to be filled 4 days later even though I had spoke with the pharmacist personally on day one regarding the need for the refill. It was only refilled on day four do to my calling again to ask the status. To add to the poor service, I was informed they did not have enough of one my the medications in stock and I would have to come back the next week for the remainder of the prescription. The medication in question was a common drug and given that the prescription had been sent 4 days prior by the MD should have already been ordered . I also did not appreciate being asked a qyestion and then being cut off mid sentence with another question. It was very rude. I will be changing to a different CVS. read more

Picked up some pain meds and antibiotics after getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. I was in and out. Dropped off my prescription and looked around the store a bit. My prescription was ready in about 15 minutes. Pharmacy staff was friendly and went into detail about exactly how my prescription should be taken, and the dangers of pain killer addiction. Store was clean and everything seemed to be in order. This CVS just opened, let's hope they can keep the good service going. Tip to store: could add a few more chairs for the pharmacy waiting area. read more

They always suck at their service but I have been visiting them given it's the closest pharmacy from my house. I explicitly wanted to write about craziness recently. My doctor sends the prescription around 4pm. I call them at 6pm and they confirm it'll be ready at 7:30pm and they also mentioned they close at 8pm. I have a injured foot and have mobility issues. So, I call them around 7:15pm and they confirm I can go in 15 mins and it'll be ready. I go at 7:30pm and they say they are busy and can't make it today, asks me to come the next day. I requested if they can help with just one of the medicine, and rest can wait till tomorrow. They say, no. Then I asked them, why was I asked to come at 7:30pm today, when I checked with them just 15mins ago? They say, sorry, we have one pharmacist here and she can't help today. Now the pharmacist proposes some option to this lady handling customers and this lady says, no (I could not hear the option though). I check with them, if I can transfer the prescription to another pharmacy and they say, yes. I call another pharmacy, who were very kind but they tell me that my prescription is already marked as in-progress at CVS on Saratoga Ave. He calls them to release it from in-progress so he can take over the prescription. They put his call on hold for 20 mins and after 20 mins, they pick the call and say they are closing now, call back tomorrow. So, they blocked me from getting my medicine from other pharmacies, too! This is cruel for a person in pain and needing one of those medicines badly to help. Lady helping the customers at the pharmacy desk was RUDE! Hope pharmacy takes some action to improve their service for future customers! Another recent incident was not having the prescription ready for 3 days and then when I call, they say "let me expedite it now". Expedite after 3 days?!! Always their excuse is we are unstaffed! read more

Y'all are incompetent fools. Or just liars. The lady originally told me that my prescription would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. No problem; I'll just read some of the magazines and wait. After about 30 minutes, I return to pick up the prescription. A new lady tells me that it isn't ready yet -- it will be 20 minutes to an hour more. ???? Why ??? Didn't ??? Y'all ??? Tell ??? Me ??? This ??? Earlier ??? I have better things to do with my time than hang out at CVS, as new and boppin as it is. Valentine's Day candy is only so interesting. So I ended up going home, 40 minutes of my life spent waiting for nothing. Gosh, just tell me originally that everything is backed up. This pharmacy has cost us hundreds of dollars!! Twice they couldn't fill needed meds in a timely fashion so twice we had to pay cash. They could not get their act together in order to run it through insurance. The biggest problem seems to be understaffing. Was on hold for 54 mins and then they disconnected call without picking up. Once mid-day there was a sign on the door that read "sorry for any inconvenience the pharmacy is closed". 5 or 6 times they promised a prescription to be ready, but when I went to pick up they said just said "sorry we're understaffed". Really wanted to love these guys since they are so close to our house, but now I'm mad I waited so long to find another pharmacy. I am done with them!!! read more

I went here on Christmas Eve and I loved it! The staff is so friendly and I love how I can pull up right up the front door, with handicapped parking, but the rest of the parking is pretty close. The store is clean and well stocked; a lot of the stores aren't... I met the manager and I could tell she takes pride in her store and she's very friendly and customer focused. I had dental surgery across the street from this CVS on a Sunday. My dentist wanted me to have an antibiotic right away. I saw this CVS across the street so stopped here to have my prescription filled. When I got there , I went to the drop off window. There was nobody else in line to drop off or pick up. There were 3 associates behind the counter. One was working the drive through window and two were in the center. Nobody made eye contact or acknowledged me. I waited for thinking one of them just had to finish something up and then would come over. Then the phone rang and one of them answered the phone ( this turned out to be Kristina) as I would later note from her name badge. When she answered the phone before coming to help me I thought maybe they can't see me as the drop off window was off to the side and not prominently visible in front. So, I walked over to the pick up window, raised my hand and said " excuse me" just in case they hadn't seen me before. That is when Kristina said rudely that I would be helped I. A minute and please go back to the drop off window. The fact that she said back to the drop off window clarified that I had indeed been seen. I was just ignored. Kristina then said to the person on the phone " Sorry about that" . So she was sorry to the person on the phone who called after I arrived but she did not feel bad at all ignoring me, and speaking so rudely. I did go back to the drop off window at which point, someone came up to the pick up window. At that point, the pharmacist looked up and saw her and told her she would be with her in a minute and I guess knew she kind of had to come help me first. When she got to me, she was rude to. Somehow. By Kristina treating me rude I guess the pharmacist decided I had done something to deserve it. It was a really strange experience. I come from a retail management background and now work in the medical field. Our patients tell us all the time the horror stories they experience trying to fill their prescriptions at pharmacies. I got a good glimpse today of the kind of rudeness and nasty attitude that can occur. Rule number one is to acknowledge or greet your customer and let them know you will be with them in a minute. It doesn't take much effort and it makes all the difference in the world. If anything these gals today were a perfect reminder of how not to treat customers/ patients. I still had the process of paying for the prescription when it was done and receiving advise from the pharmacist which were equally uncomfortable . I would invite these ladies to think about what exactly it is they think I did or said to them which would warrant how they treated me. If they are truly honest with themselves and have the ability to be objective, maybe they might realize they were rude to me for no reason. If not, we'll too bad for them missing the opportunity to grow as human beings and too bad for future customers who will be subjected to their behavior. In regards to the actual filling of the prescription, it was done in a timely manner and the advise given although rather coldly and forced, the information was detailed and helpful. read more

Had a nasty experience with the cashier named estabon. He was very rude and seemed more interested in texting on his cell phone rather than helping me. I always enjoy Pam. She's probably the best cashier out of the whole team. Estabon had a negative confrontational, attitude. I noticed how he interacted with the 3 people ahead of me...same snotty attitude. This wasn't my first "run in" with him. I had him check us out on 2 prior occasions. Both times we got the same negative, snotty reception. His cell phone kept ringing and he'd look at his phone every 5 seconds. One time we came in with our $12 rewards bucks and I put it down on the counter with 4 other coupons. I KNOW he saw the coupons...however, when we got home, my sister was looking over the receipt and noticed that the $12 rewards bucks coupon was not applied!!! My sister went back to retrieve it but when she got there, estabon swore up and down that he didn't remember us and that he had to go take his break...he said, I've clocked out for lunch and this isn't my issue to deal with right now!!!!! Can you believe this? So we asked him to page someone else to come up and help us...he slammed his phone on the counter then grabbed the phone and paged someone named Alice. Alice was extremely helpful. She found our $12 coupon, returned it to us and apologized for estabons nasty attitude. I gave only one star because after a fun shopping experience with my sister who was here visiting from Europe, it was a real downer once we got to the check stand and had to endure this person's rotten attitude and dishonest customer service. Just terrible service. The old cvs on prospect was so much better. Facility was old but service was great. This new cvs has been a disappointment on several occasions. I have reduced my shipping at cvs more than 50 % because of this one store. They don't accept coupons which are not even expired. Once they told me I can't use the $off coupon with% off coupon. That was a first I said and they gave me 1800 number to call which I called and I was told that I can very well use them together as I have been doing for years. On other occasions also they have just given out 1-800 number instead of making any effort for solving the issue. Once I tried to use my extra bucks and they said it's been used before!? Really!! I never used it and don't they collect them from customers so how could I have it . Complete rubbish! They didn't honor it ultimately ..such stingy behavior; ruined CVS for me:( Manager Paul seems to get an anxiety attack if there are more than two people in line. He couldn't resolve a simple issue. I bet a regular cashier could have done it but I got stuck with this anxious manager. When I expressed my dissatisfaction he just shrugged it off. This is about the lack of personnel in the pharmacy. Do not expect to get you prescriptions filled in any timely manner! It usually takes them at least a day to fill them, not matter how I important they are. I recently had a prescription for antibiotics that took them 52 hours to fill even though they had the medicine in stock. The staff has told me that all CVS's have had a cutback in hours, and they are so backed up. This is not my problem. I complained to the company both in writing and called them, but they do not care. It seems like since Anthem took over, the quality has gone down hill. I am wondering if it is just this CVS, or all of them. But I will be switching to Walgreens or Rite Aide! read more

Went to CVS for some medicine and snacks, and was helped by Pam. She was really nice and the overall shopping experience was great.

When we went to check out everything seemed pretty normal. Then things went awry. The checker who's name is Esteban checked all of our stuff out and proceeded to ask if we wanted to use the coupon on the account, to which my mom said yes. And then she also handed him a different physical coupon of extra bucks to use. My mom asked if it was too late and he said he already finished the transaction but if we would like he could cancel the transaction and check everything out again using our $8 off $40 on the account and the physical coupon of $6 extra bucks. So. He had to have the manager come over to void the whole transaction to start over so he could also use the extra bucks coupon. Esteban literally said to the manager "I was given the coupon too late" obviously blaming my mom which is rude because she was standing there with the coupon in her hand the whole time if he was paying attention. After having the manager void the transaction we started over and he checked everything out AGAIN. Mind you this is a time where my 70 year old mom should not even be out of the house so we are trying to make this trip as quick as possible and now we are checking out for the second time. After checking out the second time, he said he applied the $8 off of $40 account coupon and also the $6 extra bucks. But when I looked at the screen in front of me the extra bucks coupon said "approval pending" and I told the Esteban at least twice that it said approval pending so I didn't think the coupon was going to go through. He reassured me multiple times that once we finished the transaction that it would take both coupons off. He proceeded to finish the transaction and we went out to the car where I looked at the receipt and it clearly stated "coupons used" and it only said the $8 off $40. So I had to go back into the store and wait in line again just to tell him that it didnt take the $6 extra bucks off. When I showed him on the receipt where it says "coupons used" he said and I quote "oh shit. I forgot you could see that" like he knew the coupon wasnt going to go through but didnt give a crap at all because he thought we would never know. I then asked if we could have our $6 extra bucks back to use (which expires in 1 day that's why we were trying to use it) and he didn't even remember which one it was (we had literally checked out 2 min before). So he had to look through all the coupons...luckily I remembered the coupon had a red stripe on the side like when the receipt paper is running out. Esteban finally found it and he gave it back to me. So basically we cancelled the whole transaction and checked out a second time for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON because he didnt even put the coupon on the second transaction!!!!! This was as such a frustrating experience especially in a time when we were just trying to get in and out of the store to which the point of the trip was to USE THE COUPON that we didnt even get to use after checking out twice!!! I am irritated that Esteban didnt do anything to fix the problem when I clearly had told him the coupon said pending approval before finishing the transaction. This was all very stressful. Dont think I will be returning to this cvs anytime soon which is a bummer because it WAS my favorite. read more
