I hope the CVS District Manager reads Yelp I just came to this store and I had a very disappoint experience, they rang the wrong price and when I told the cashier she called Michelle " the store manager" on duty to check the price She did not say hi or smile or made eye contact ( basic steps on customer service ) and went to check just to come back and said that was not in special (25% off like the sticker said) that it was different color and left I went to check again after paying cause I was sure it was and of course it was the right one . I took the sticker and brought it to cashier (nice lady but she needs more training) and I asked her to call Michelle to fix it please Michelle came once again with more attitude and went to check again even when the sticker says the right name (she did not believe it) and she went to scanned different boxes to the price check machine to just come back and said to her just do it Once Again like if I was not there No smile Not a singe sorry not a word CVS bosses please do something about it, retrained, coach or do whatever you need to do to have nice customer service oriented employees and even better Manager that knows HOSPITALITY Pleaseeeeeee this is now my first time having bad experience at this store And after reading yelp reviews I am not the only one This are hard times for every business You are still in time to fix it read more

The WORST service ever. Make sure to double check your receipt because the prices that are listed and what they charge you are different. I had that happen on two different items today. The manager on duty made me walk around the store and show him where the prices where. Then when I quoted the policy of CVS giving free items up to $4 off if their prices where incorrect, the manager refused to give it to me because he had already adjusted the price on the items. The cashier, Terri, who was very helpful was so embarrassed by his behavior she told me to call the store manager at a later time. Apparently this assistant manager did not feel it was necessary to 1. Provide good customer service or 2. Follow CVS policies as advertised. Terrible! read more

I worked in the pharmacy industry as a technician in the 1980's. We had really good customer service & rapidly expedited prescription(s) to the customers in a timely manner. This particular CVS pharmacy is a prime example of lack of efficiency when you go there to pick-up drugs &/or drop them off. Each customer "served" by the employee(s) take on average 20-30 minutes or more which is unacceptable. Another very poor aspect of this pharmacy is that you have to wait in line--down various aisles for the "pick-up" & "drop-off"--That is unacceptable & bad customer service. There should be chairs there for people who have trouble standing for these long periods of time; ie. the elderly & patients who are in pain. When this pharmacy was called, "Longs", there were chairs & the service was excellent. Over-all this shows that this company has no respect or consideration for its customers. I would advise to find another pharmacy (company) to fill prescriptions unless you enjoy waiting in-line & being treated as just another number. read more

The cashier who checked me out was Alice, she the mostly rudeness, fake, and no personality cashier I even gotten at CVS. Her attitude towards me during check out was beyond dreadful. The employees at this location, are mean and evil and rude and disrespectful! They do not like to accept coupons, even cvs coupons. The employees at this location, have a reputation for hassling customers, that use more than a couple of coupons. I don't know why, because the store gets reimbursed. First time dealing with this Pharmacy and I must say that I'm a tad bit perturbed. They dispensed the wrong glucose test strips, so I went back to have them replaced. After asking the pharmacist to explain how I was given the wrong type of glucose strips, she tells me that since the doctor didn't specify, they just assume it's the one they dispensed to me. I suggested that she start asking customers which type of meter they have or calling the physician for clarification. She immediately became defensive and lectured me on how belligerent customers get when asked which meter they use and why she didn't feel the need to do things differently. Really!!?? I explained how she could have avoided forcing me to drive all the way back to CVS to have my prescription corrected. She held her ground without regard to logic. Ugh!! The pharmacy is RIDICULOUS. Very rude pharmacists. Very slow. Will not answer your calls most of the time and the staff could care less if you dropped dead because they took too long to refill your meds. FYI will not send you a text, email, phone call, letter etc if they can't get in contact with your prescribing doctor, they will leave you hanging for days until you call and they FINALLY pick up and say "Oh yeah, your doctor didn't respond to our fax." Like I could have done something!! I know you guys are incredibly understaffed but I could harass my doctor too!! Then you ask the HORRIBLE pharmacist (who never smiles) and she will be horribly distraught that you need emergency backup meds. read more

I liked this location at the time that I went because there wasn't much people in there. I came for the cheap 75% off of Christmas items which was AWESOME!!! I got so many items for $32! The service was also good and cashier was very friendly. They seem to have a lot of items stocked. Plus it's easy to find parking in this complex. read more

There are a lot of low ratings of this CVS but I will offer my perspective. Yes I agree Longs was better, but CVS is still good. It is easy to get in and out, always lots of parking. I have never experienced long or slow lines at check out. The prices are higher than local big box stores but it is much more convenient shopping at CVS especially with little kids. Finally, I mainly go the CVS for the pharmacy. All of the pharmacists are great there and most of the techs are cool. read more

I used to go to Lucky down the way but their pharmacy hours sucked. We transferred our prescriptions to this CVS and I've been happy so far! The ladies in the pharmacy were super nice. I waiting about 20 min for my prescription which, lets be honest, is normal for any pharmacy. I don't like CVS's whole card/coupon thing. Every receipt is a mile long and I feel like I pay a bit too much since I don't keep the coupons to use. But for prescriptions, I'm happy. read more

Was really hoping that there was an option to give ZERO stars. Had the absolute worst customer service experience today. Went in to purchase a pre-paid Gift Card with Cash. There was a system malfunction and the activation confirmation did not print. I have had issues with prepaid cards before and was told by the provider never to leave a store without activation confirmation. So a manager was called to assist. The manager had extremely poor customer service skills to say the least! She was unable to confirm that the card had been activated and I was told there was nothing they could do, that if for some reason the card didn't work to call the number on the back of the card. So let me get this straight, I purchased something CASH from them and because they had a system malfunction I now do not have the item that I paid for. I let them know this was not an option for me, that I was entitled to leave with the item I purchased or my money back. I was informed a refund was not an option that there was nothing more they could do. I was then told to call 1-800 CVS and they could help me by emailing me a activation confirmation. Once again, they have the problem, But I am the one who has to make the calls, Ok so I proceed to call them while Im still in the store, after multiple menus and having to explain the situation to 2 different operators I am told that they would not have access to my transaction for 48 hours. Again, this was not an option, I felt I was entitled to leave the store with the product that I paid cash for. After over an hour of worthless options it was MY son who finally determined a suitable solution to the issue and we were able to leave the store after confirming the card has indeed been activated buy buying a pack of gum with the card. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience in this particular location. Their computer systems are outdated, the store is messy and disorganized and management has absolutely ZERO customer service skills. Im amazed that in this day and age with Amazon & Target that they are even still in business, Im assuming NOT FOR LONG. The manager was HORRIBLE her name so I am told was Princess Medina. I love this CVS. Most of all I love the Pharmacy staff. Specifically the "drop off" technicians named: Shasha and Kay are top notch. Shasha has gone above and beyond in terms of customer service for me, at a time when I really needed her help. My first experience with this pharmacy was outstanding, because of Shasha and the CVS stock of medications. They carry my favorite brands/manufactures. Ever since my first visit, I have had nothing but positive experiences. I love this pharmacy. Thank you! read more

This CVS really does have terrible customer service. I used their online service to get pictures printed out for a recent trip. When I went to pick them up the lady working there commented on how big my order was and how long it took to print out. Okay... So I went home and took a look at my pictures. Not only were they out of order but a random family's pictures were added in! So I went back to CVS to let them know about this jumbled mess and the lady working acted so inconvenienced by THEIR mistake. We had to count through them and she told me to come back in an hour to pick them up, adding that it was going to take her so long to do on top of her other work. I asked her just to print them out again and she said it was too expensive. I've worked customer service before, I know it's hard, but it's part of the job! So I picked up my pictures even more out of order than before. Just go to Costco to get your pics printed y'all because CVS sucks. read more

So its Christmas time and I need to use the restroom. My next stop is CVS my plan is to buy ALL of my candy, stocking stuffers and wrap things up. Well back to the first task.....Restroom. so I ask staff who lies straight to my face and tells me we dont have a restroom. I give her a look of confusion because I previously worked for Longs Drugs Corporate Office and frequented this location. After my look she changed it to "its under construction". Then she instructed me to go to Mc Donalds and use theirs. Well I left and will not go back. CVS will not get my Christmas shopping money this year and I will start going to Walgreens which is closer. Shame on you CVS for hiring dishonest lie to the customers faces employees. I wish I can give a ZERO! This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever been to. I was asked to transfer to CVS due to my insurance and my job's new policy. From the very beginning that my prescriptions were transfered to them all the way to just a month a go, I experienced nothing but problems with my medications in regards to ordering, processing, and pick-up. The workers are very rude and never accepts responsibility for their mistakes. They never bothered to check the notes on my account with regards to what they can and cannot do in terms of changing my meds. Also, when I was supposed to 90 count of my medication, the bottle only had 30 pills in it but the label says the quantity is 90. I tried in vain to get a hold of the pharmacy manager but according to the staff, it's either she is gone for the day or not in for the day. It's the same answer no matter what time and what day of the week do I call. Since I can't get a hold of her to let her know about the issues I spoke to the store manager who was very nice and he listened to my concerns and apologized for the troubles. He also gave me a $20 store card since I mentioned that I have to drive back and forth several times to the pharmacy to get them to fix their mistakes. It wasn't necessary but I appreciated his gesture. He also promised that he will get a hold of the pharmacy manager. When I finally got a call from the manager, she seemed very jolly and from her tone of voice she couldn't care less about my bad experience. Although she was not rude to me, she was obviously in a hurry and she avoiding the conversation about my concerns. By the way, every single time that I will speak to the pharmacy technicians and the pharmacist about their mistakes, they were always upset and majority of them told me that "it's my first day here." When one of my medication was changed to a different manufacturer without informing me, I called them and a woman named Elena answered the phone, I told her that that particular medication cannot be substituted with anything or else I will end up in the ER. She was unapologetic and was very rude and impatient.......she said "so what do you want me to do?" When I mentioned that she should take my concern seriously because they are playing with my life....she yelled at me....and said "we are not playing with your life! How are we playing with your life? We didn't make any mistake! She went crazy! This is the person that's supposed to dispense my medication? My former pharmacy, my doctor, and myself already informed them never to substitute that particular medication, but it's either they did not note it on their computer or they are very lazy to take a little bit of their time to my record before refilling my medication. read more

I don't fancy this CVS but it's convenient to my home. I don't like the supervisor, Michelle. I try to avoid her as much as possible. She's not friendly and customer oriented. The other day I went in, they had expired DiGiorno pizza dated 12/2016. I notified the cashier and he said he'll let someone know. I'll check back in a day or two to see if they took it off the shelf or else I have to call a health inspector. They need to be checking their inventory and making sure they aren't expired. I've always checked expiration dates when it comes to consumable items. Even the CVS on Capitol expy had expired chocolate when I was there a few months ago. Obviously store management is not checking to make sure things aren't expired. Apparently it's our duties as consumers to check them. Another problem I had here was using a raincheck. I had one with no event code on it and they told me to go back to the store that wrote it. This is coming from the store manager. Really? Don't you all work for CVS and you are representing the brand. Take ownership versus telling the consumer to go back to that store. I would stop shopping at CVS, but they have good deals sometimes. read more

I didn't get the name of the woman who took my prescription on Friday January 8th around 5:30 pm. I wish I had. I usually go to Safeway but their computers were down. I am recovering from pneumonia and still have a nasty residual cough. The doctor prescribed Hydrocodone to aide in the cough and help me rest up over the weekend so I could return to work (21 years at my job, same Blue Shield insurance) on Monday. This woman was snotty and very condescending. I asked why it would take an hour and she stated that it was a controlled substance. Curious, I asked what the reasoning behind the wait was, and she very rudely repeated that it was a controlled substance. She treated me with disrespect. This made me feel worse. I was just curious. She shouldn't be dealing with sick people. I hope you find out who I am talking about and I hope she is reprimanded. I will not return to your store and I'll be suggesting to my family and friends that don't either. read more

This is an awful Cvs. Unfortunately I have made the mistake of using them for prescriptions and each time it is a hassle. When I call the pharmacy they seem to always be very busy and have to keep me on hold for a minimum of at least 5 minutes if not longer. Each time I have gone into the store to either buy something or pick up a prescription there is always a long line with one cashier, this never changes. They seem to always have some discrepancies with customers using their cvs coupons and this combined with having only one cashier, results in a long slow moving line. read more

I have shopped this store weekly for 4 years and as a senior citizen I cannot praise the service enough! I have used the photo machines a lot and this week was copying some special ones pics, Joanne came to my aid and showed me a new feature that amazingly enhanced my very old photos. she was so patient and kind! Fran and Terry on check out always take the time to help me find in that maze of items just what I need and the sweet blonde gal who stocks shelves always leaves to walk me to the item I need. This review is solely for the Pharmacy - I haven't had any other interactions with the staff. My doctor called in a script for me. I went the following day for pick up & they said, 'it will be ready in 10-15 minutes, we'll call your name, there's some seats right over there'. Ok. I thought it was weird that it was called in the day before & it still wasn't done, but whatever. 10 minutes passed, then 20 minutes so I waited back in line & gave them my information again. She said, 'looks like we don't have it in stock, it won't be here until tomorrow', I questioned why they didn't tell me that 25 minutes ago, I wouldn't have been wasting my time, especially at 9 months pregnant. She said, 'oh we normally page people, sorry about that'. Fine, irritating, but what am I gonna do? I show up the next day & called from the parking lot. Same line - 'oh it is not filled yet, the pharmacist has to complete it, it will be 10-15 minutes'. This is Day 3 people -- what is the deal?! Horrific service, terrible wait times, and complete disarray. I don't have any faith in this pharmacy - it should not take 3 days from a doctor to call something in to the customer getting the product, simply ridiculous. read more

How do you let a regular customer who shops at your store weekly leave $60 worth of product on the counter because you can't/won't figure out a way to honor the coupon that I printed but must have misplaced? Even have the email to prove it but can't send it to my card because it's already been printed once. I have shopped here several times a week for at least a decade. If it's a matter of the employee not being able to judge my honest character after all this time, well then I guess shame on me AND the employee. This CVS Pharmacy is awful!!! Their service is terrible, especially if you are here for the actual pharmacy services. You can be "promised" a prescription at a certain time, but when you go in to pick it up, the "it will just be a few more minutes" almost ALWAYS turns into 30-60 minutes later having to threaten management to get anything done. They are rude, condescending, and they are not good about getting your records right. Also, if you have a medication that you need every day for maintenance, most pharmacies will give you a stop-gap of meds if you are waiting for a prescription to come through. These people will give you maybe 2 days worth, and make fun of you for even asking for it, like it was your fault for choosing that physician, not the pharmacy's for having a broken system that is difficult for doctors to use. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

service orientation is horrific. i called earlier in the day to make sure my Rx was ready. i waited patiently with my daughter for 30 minutes in line (yes about 15 people ahead of me) and then when it was my turn they told me that i'd have to wait in line again b/c the order wasn't ready. this was a sub-par experience to say the least and was exacerbated as I did my best to entertain my 4 year old daughter. go to Walgreens fast!! read more

-10 stars if I could. This pharmacy is awful. Every time I would have to get a refill they would give me such a hard time. I'm unable to a generic form of my prescription I have a note on file from my Dr. to the pharmacy as well as my insurance. They still insist on trying to fill my prescription with the generic. I was trying to explain this again to the pharmacy over the phone while this woman is chewing in my ear. She's rudely telling me I need to call my Dr. To have her prescribe this AGAIN. Than she goes on to tell me that my prescription will be $200. The over the counter price is $340. Last time I paid $100 this makes no sense. I was trying to explain this to her and she hangs up on me. Really lady? You lost your store a customer and I hope you lose your job. You have no empathy for patients and no business working in the pharmaceutical industry. I spoke to my insurance they again said it's $100. Now I'm ordering my prescriptions from optumRX, with no need to deal with rude customer service. read more

I came here weekly for my med over a year . I have just finished my chemo so now I don't have to go there often anymore.. Yesterday I picked up my medicine and my husband bought 2 bottles of detergent . He paid with $ 100 bill . Frances the front desk didn't have enough money , she called the manager . He brought the money to her .she gave my husband 4 pieces of $20 and took $20 and rung up for $20 in the receipt ( suppose she has to ring $100 and give him $80 something back.) i will tell you what is happening . We stopped by the gas station near Marina Market on Monterey hwy. we paid with that money and knew that 2 of them are counterfeit . We went back to CVS talked to them . Frances she remembered my husband with $100 . She called Scott the manager he talked to us as a criminal . I was shocked feel like lost $40 and get slap on the face . Like other yelpers, if I could give zero, I would! The employees are not helpful and the cashier who rung me up was rude! I had 6 items (body washes and shampoos that were on their weekly ad) and 6 coupons (in the ad, it said that there were coupons in the Sunday paper). One coupon was from their coupon machine and the computer rejected it. She checked the coupon and verified that I got the right stuff. But I'm not sure if she was just tired or just mean that she just started saying that she can't give me the value of the coupon and that I have so many coupons that even the machine got confused! I only have 6 items! With 1 coupon each! What's so confusing about it??? Before I went here, I was debating on where to go, here or walgreens? I went here because I want to spend the cvs cash I got from my last purchase. They're the one who keeps on giving out these stuff and when you use them, they complain? I already have a not-so-good experience before in this store but it was months ago so went back here to give it another chance. After my experience yesterday, NEVER again. I'm going back to my old cvs at San Felipe-Yerba buena . It's farther from me but I always have a pleasant experience there! read more
