Went to this CVS to print some photos. The manager kept helping other customers who arrived quite some time after I did. I just waited and waited and the Manager would not assist me even though I told him I've been waiting for a while now for his help. The Manager told me that he's helping customers in the line and I said I'm a customer too and that I've arrived here way before these other customers have. The Manager didn't care and still didn't help me so I went to the Stevenson Ranch Staples and was treated with dignity and respect and was provided excellent courteous prompt service by the Staples wonderful Staff. read more

When asked about it after the man left m, opened the large can of beer and getting in his car to drive even drunker around Santa Clarita. This is a pharmacy review - Extremely disappointed at the incompetence and rude treatment from 2 people at this pharmacy. I came in to fill a prescription for my family of 3 and the first woman that helped me at about 7:30pm appeared bothered to be helping. She gave attitude while inputting the information in her system. I asked the approximate time they would be ready just so I would know and she made sure to tell me the meds would take about an hour to be filled and that they closed at 10pm but made it seem like I should just come back tomorrow. This could not wait until tomorrow, we were all hit with covid very badly. I came back an hour later and only 2 out of 3 were ready. I came back 20 minutes after that and the next man that helped me asked me to take my mask off like it was bothering him that I was wearing it. I told him I was sick and could not remove it. Finally got the meds and went home only to find out that my daughter's liquid med did not include a syringe to give her the med, luckily we keep extras at home. Now for the other 2 most important meds, the Paxlovid we got was expired!!! Expired 5/23 and it is now July. They also crossed out the expiration date on the outside of the box to say from 5/23 to 5/24, this just does not sound right to do. Not sure it may still be ok to take but thought I would mention this due to all of the frustration from this experience. Will not be coming back to this location that shows zero empathy for people that are sick and that only care about closing up and going home. CVS hire people that are right for this type job who actually enjoy helping people who need it. read more

The Pharmacist Morgan was very rude. I arrived for a consultation at 5:53p for a fractured wrist in which the doctor recommended a brace. I explained my situation and she basically told me that she couldn't help in so many words. Seemed overwhelmed and annoyed that I even asked her within the last 10 minutes of closing. So I sat in my car and called the doctors office only for them to tell me that I can use a brace for carpal tunnel and CVS should have it. I went back inside to confront Morgan but she was closing and I decided to allow her to leave work peacefully. However, this review will be here so that everyone knows how I was treated. She could care less about what I came in there for. I also work in the medical industry- fast paced and stressful at times. I audit laboratories that hold 9 million patient samples and would never lose my patience with a client or treat them as though they are inconveniencing my life. Maybe she'll be more gracious moving forward and if the pharmacy needs to close by 5:55p to help Morgan then it should be considered. FYI - I have time stamped proof of my allegations. read more

Lost honeymoon photos... I am disappointed in CVS's lack of regard for the human aspect of business. I used to enjoy going to this CVS. We dropped off our camera to get some honeymoon photos developed and got a receipt for it. A couple months later, we realized we had not heard back, so my husband called. He spoke to the manager and the manager said they had no documentation of our order. My husband provided them the receipt number and the manager told us he would get back to us. We did not hear back. My husband contacted corporate and received an incident number. He called CVS back and he had to explain the situation to someone new. He provided the photo receipt number and the incident number. The manager called us back and left a voice message saying that the photo company they sent it to has no recollection of receiving the order and suspects that it was lost in the mail. I was upset and asked friends who work in retail management what I could do. I understand that they were lost and those things happen, but my priceless memories were lost too. My friend said that most companies will allow you to file an insurance claim for damaged/lost items. So we thought we'd give that a shot. My husband called the manager back a few weeks later and a cashier answered. She was not welcoming, and transferred him to the store manager - this may or may not have been the same manager we spoke to a couple months before. My husband had to explain the situation a third time, and he provided the photo receipt number and the incident number. The manager had to review it again and said he would call us the next day. The manager called us back and said that USPS lost it. He continued and said that on the photo receipt, we basically signed a waiver saying that anything that happens to the photos when it's in their possession, it's not their responsibility. They did nothing for us. No apology. No sympathy. Complete disregard for humanity. They didn't do a thing to try to keep us as customers. Like I said, I understand these things can happen and any sort of apology would have made me feel just a bit better. I'm heartbroken that I'll never get to see the memories we captured during our honeymoon. read more

I should have read the bad reviews before I went here to fill my prescription. I waited 45 minutes only to get told that only one of my two prescriptions was covered by my medical insurance. I was then told I could call my insurance company to ask why it wasn't covered. I asked if they could check again since it seemed unlikely that my insurance wouldn't pay for prescription Ibuprofen. I was then told again that the insurance didn't cover it, but I could pay the full price without the insurance. I paid the full price for the medication and left the pharmacy and called my insurance. Turns out that CVS didn't even run it through the insurance, they only ran one prescription! WHAT!? I called CVS back, they did not apologize. Instead she said that "no one told her that I had more than one prescription". I don't really understand this response. Is it possible that I am the first person to be filling more than one prescription at a time???!!! She then said that I could get a credit for the amount that I overpaid, but I had to come back in person. SO inconvenient! I went back and got the money credited (I'll have to wait and see if I actually get the credit) The Total time dealing this was 2.5 hours. It was such a huge waste of time and so frustrating! All my time today spent driving back and forth to CVS, calling CVS, calling my insurance company, waiting on hold, waiting in line at the CVS multiple times. The people that work here are just bad at their jobs! I have never written a Yelp review before but I figured maybe I could help someone. Please, please avoid this place.... it's awful. Today was a great day at this CVS! I called this morning about some woven patio chairs they had. I had called every other store in Santa Clarita. Brandon the Manager was awesome! He answered the phone. Knew which chairs I was talking about and held them for me. I got a great price! Brandon was even kind enough to load them in the truck for me. Aside from Brandon being awesome. This store is located in Granary Square. While I deeply miss Longs Drug store CVS has come in and NOT been disappointing. They have a variety of merchandise and if you play it right you can get some pretty great deals! read more

I come to this CVS regularly, not because I absolutely love it, but because it's convenient. I don't have any major complaints about it. This location is always clean, they just have a very old, dated decor. I don't use their pharmacy so I can't confirm or deny all the bad reviews about it. I come for toiletries, vitamins, cold medicine, etc. They usually have a decent sale, i.e. buy one, get one half off for CVS rewards members. So that keeps me happy. I'm easy. The only negative I would have is that they always seem to be short staffed. If I ever have a question, I always have to search for someone to ask. There are never visible staff members on the floor for assistance. But besides that, I have no serious complaints. There are some areas that could use improvement, but nothing that will prevent me from coming back. read more

CVS puts their profit ahead of customer service every time. Today I called to have prescriptions refilled. First I waited until all of the COVID information was provided. Then I asked for "refills" - again more COVID information. After almost 10 minutes of this poorly managed phone system, I was told the pharmacy line was busy and to call back again. There is a simpler and more efficient way to operate a menu of options and save the customers' time. But CVS could obviously care less about the customers and their time. And don't get me started on CVS always trying to push more drug sales by refilling prescriptions earlier than needed. read more

The pharmacy at Granar Square in Valencia is the worst I have ever been in - and I don't know why I even bothered to try them again- They have zero customer service skills- do not acknowledge that you are even in a line- I have had all of mine and my families Rx transferred to the Walgreens on Lyons avenue - where you can at least be acknowledged at the Rx. This is only for the Rx at this store - they say hi at the front when you come in, but they are all rude in the Rx- The definition of insanity is expecting a different result - then I was insane for going in here to buy Zyrtec D at the Rx- Was totally ignored after being the only one in line for 10 minutes- I will drive past this store in a hundred degree temperatures to go anywhere but here- too bad- I always buy things I don't need when I'm at the drugstore - too bad for you read more

Yes they are slightly more expensive than a Walmart or Target BUT if you are signed up for their extra care rewards they actually end up being way cheaper than other stores. Their extra care rewards provides users with tons of coupons & you are able to use multiple coupons at a time. You also can earn cvs extra buck rewards which is basically cash to shop with in the store (these are very easy to earn.) read more

Customer Service, at its worst. Lost a customer for life! Sanitary: is key to any medical business, and from my experience today, I saw an employee sick as can be touching pills and boxes of medicine for patients with bare hands (no latex gloves). She was coughing, trying to sniff and clear all the mucus in her nose over the pill tray, she couldn't breath through her nose so she was only breathing out her mouth(you could see her deep breathing)! Then while patients are waiting in line, your employees are on their phone showing other employees pictures, going between the medicine racks to text. And the icing on the cake! Customer Service: All I know is every single employee in that pharmacy has an attitude, like they have one foot in the pharmacy, and one foot at home. Cosmetics I came to see if any of the new cosmetic releases were available. Other CVS locations had the latest Maybelline, L'oreal, Wet N Wild, etc. on display. Terrible!!! The pharmacy service here was bad, but since this became a CVS it has gotten worse. There are long lines, long waits and the staff have attitudes. Co-pay on a prescription went up to $50 for some reason. They claimed it was due to a change in my insurance plan for the new year. Since then, I transferred the prescription to Vons pharmacy on the Old Road. Not only is the service 100% better there, but according to them my co-pay for the same med is only $5. I have now transferred ALL my prescriptions out of here and am much happier. read more

After my phone call just now it was time for a review. This is my regular CVS. All of my prescriptions come through here. My insurance insists on CVS. I waited an hour today to ask for my prescription once again be filled WITHOUT insurance. They will not cover it. After I was asked multiple times what med after stating it and then saying it's the o my one you have sent in there today waiting for me she put me on hold out of nowhere. I was sent all over the store. Once I finally made it back to the pharmacy the woman was an absolute jerk. She wanted me to know it's $314. I said no not with good rx. She then gave me a quote for 114. I said I'm looking at it and it isn't even half of that. She wanted my good ex info which is ALREADY THERE. I said I'm not opening anything else on here and I accidentally hang up. I'm not sitting on hold for another hour to do this again. I finally said forget it. I'll fill it at vons where it's 1/3 if the price anyway. This store is always a nightmare. Every time I have to do anything with them it's a huge issue. Save yourself all the trouble and headache. I went to Granary Square CVS for my Covid vaccine and they were amazing. They were very organized, professional, and the appointment went seamless. I was nervous and uncomfortable about getting the vaccine but the staff made me feel at ease. The pharmacy manager as well as the employees behind the counter were very helpful in processing my appointment and sending me over to the minute clinic area. The nurses explained everything to me in advance. I did not even feel the needle! There was a lovely woman who stayed with us outside of the minute clinic while we waited to make sure there was no reaction. She was very Organized, friendly and talkative and truly kept an eye on us to make sure that we were not experiencing any side effects. She is a gem. I admit I was experiencing nervousness and anxiety prior to my appointment but the CVS staff and nurses made me feel comfortable and confident in the whole process. Thank you! read more

In the past I have had so many issues with this CVS. They were rude and arrogant, just unpleasant staff to deal with ( in the Pharmacy department only). Yet, I went into today and they were great! There was a really nice older guy and he saw I was confused as to how the line worked and instead of yelling at me or being rude; he politely smiled and asked me to please wait one second over on the drop off side. Even the next two people ( pharmacist and pick up cashier) were polite and friendly. I was shocked and amazed, because any other time the staff looked half dead and angry. I am new to the area and moved my pharmacy to this this location. I am extremely disappointed with BARBARA in the pharmacy area. She was rude, unprofessional and had a nasty attitude. This lady that was in front of me waiting to be called completely avoided Barbara and ran to another staff member. We both were listening to her be rude to many customers. I did not want her to call me but unfortunately, I was the unlucky one and got paired with Barbara. She seems to hate her job. I asked her a simple question and she raised her tone of voice and just gave me a nasty attitude. Is it so hard to be nice now and days??
