So onto attempt #1: I came to the pharmacy on a weeknight and immediately after entering, I see from the entrance a half dozen people in line. Ugh. Nevermind. I turned around and left. Waited a minute and was able to talk to the pharmacist. Asked a few questions and paid for what I needed and left. Free at last! This was my first time using any pharmacy for my new prescription for my recent diagnosis with ADHD. When I stoped by on Aug. 15th, Saturday, around 4:00pm, Bryan C. helped me at the Consultant window inside the store. He looked me up and down like I was a criminal, and I felt judged and profiled. It is my first time picking up a prescription for this medication as I was only recently diagnosed by my doctor. Bryan C. asked me personal questions like, "Why is my doctor so far away?" "Where do you live now?" "Have you lived with near your doctor before?" He seemed like he wanted to play detective instead of help me with filling my prescription. He basically told me "Since you don'y have medical insurance, I don't trust you." He told me I NEED to get medical insurance. He told me he doesn't trust my doctor based off the 2 minutes of speaking to me, as if he knows more than an actual psychiatric doctor. Bryan C. denied my prescription even though it was in the CVS system. He verified it, but since my doctor is not close by, Bryan chose to judge and profile me. I already have a new appt. to see my doctor now because I need my prescription sent somewhere else. I will never use CVS for my future medication because of this guy Bryan C.

The store was nice and clean, and the employees were very friendly and welcoming with smiles. One employee named Fernando was especially helpful, polite, and professional while assisting me with my items. When he noticed there were about 3 customers waiting in line, he immediately opened another register to help everyone faster. When I paid, my reward paper slip didn't print, but Fernando kindly explained that there was a computer issue. He apologized and even offered to add the points directly to my card instead. I thought I was slick thinking I'd save time rather than going to the ones in La Habra or La Mirada. I was taking a risk as I didn't know if any locations had the Accu-chek Guide Starter Kit. I walked to the rear of the store to the pharmacy. I thought great no line, but the waiting customers were hidden behind the aisle shelving! I'm already here, just get in the back of the line and wait my turn. FYI, it's the holiday weekend. If your prescription isn't already in the system, save time and come back on a regular business day. My prescription wasn't able to be transferred from the mail order pharmacy. Thank you to Jennifur, the pharmacy manager. You get 5 stars for customer service. You went the extra mile as I wasn't local to your pharmacy. I appreciated this a lot even though I didn't come away with a new glucose meter.
