I happened to be nearby and needed few things from this CVS. I am not a fan of this particular CVS for different reasons. Walked in around 10am and there was no one to greet me, I waited for like 5 minutes and someone from the back came to help me. I needed some feminine care products, couple of drinks, 3 vitamins, shampoo, bath tissue, conditioner, dish soap couple of sponges, toothpaste and toothbrush. Out of the 10 items, I only got 6. I was still grateful, because I mostly needed the feminine products and they had them in stock. Store is not well organized and a lot of things are missing from the aisles/shelves. Store was clean and they didn't let me use the restroom, telling me to go next door to Habit restaurant, knowing and seeing the sign for the restrooms. Prices are fair, I have been a customer of CVS for literally 35 plus years and we get their promotional coupons in the mail. Comes very handy on a BIG purchase. When it was time to check out, I had to wait in line, because the cashier was M.I.A. Once he returned, he didn't even acknowledge me by saying hello or something.. Can't comment on their Pharmacy, because we use other CVS's pharmacy. Please hire more people and stock up your shelves!! Parking lot shared with other businesses.. read more

Arrived to the store for an online pick up order. This location stays busy as it is located off Lankershim and Oxnard. Parking lot sufficient for parking space. I formed line and then, once it was my turn, the associate assisted me. Based on what I was able to grasp, they do keep certain items locked up, so you will have to ask someone to help out. Other than that, a pleasant experience overall. read more

CVS y Mas! Located on Lankershim Blvd/Oxnard Street This CVS and or is solid. The pharmacy is definitely not the best by several miles, but they keep this store clean and typically more stocked up than in previous years. The parking lot is pretty easy and as a stand alone location, not in a shared plaza or shopping center you can get in and out fairly quickly. I pass this location often in North Hollywood, being a beat away from North Hollywood Station and L.A. Metro hub, but tend to find myself at the other North Hollywood locations, also on Lankershim. A lot of items are locked up as part of lost prevention/inventory protection for high theft items, but this is kind of happening at several locations including the others in the area. It's not that big of location so the "y mas" might through you off. While North Hollywood is very diverse (like the SFV #MeltingPot) with an amazing Latin American & Hispanic population, pero no creo que the "and more" adds anything that shouldn't already be part of CVS including products and multilingual staff. I understand the frustations with the pharmacy alone, but I pop in for a snack, hydration, and small things and have only had an issue once with products and once with the pharmacy in the past years. Typically open everyday from 7AM to 11AM, pharmacy hours are from 10AM to 6PM or until 9PM. The pharmacy does close for lunch from 1:30PM until 2PM. Self-check out is easy. read more

Today I was helped by an amazing woman named Mayra who helped me resolve an issue with protein bars I bought from Tru Bars. Sadly my favorite branded protein bars were heavily molded and were labeled to expire in Oct 2026. All 4 of the ones I purchased were molded. Mayra and her team members Eric and Annie all helped me to rectify the situation and compensated me. I appreciate them for taking so much time to assist me even with a long line behind me. On my first visit, I tried the drive thru but no one came to the window so I went inside. The next time I walked in, there was dark vomit/poo on the carpet in front of the pharmacy. An employee was sprinkling some powder on it and vacuuming. That mess needed a wet vacuum! Yesterday, I went it at 1:30pm and they were closed. According to the person at the register, the pharmacy opens at 2pm. It's almost always busy and I never end up with a good feeling going in there. read more

Ms. Tonya at the front counter is truly a gem. Every time I come in, she is extremely pleasant, professional, and genuinely kind. On a recent visit when I wasn't feeling my best, her warmth and helpful attitude made such a difference--it was exactly what I needed in that moment. I live close to this location, and because of her, it has now become my main pharmacy and go-to convenience stop. I kind of like this CVS location. Their kind of in a raunchy, nasty part of town between Oxnard and Lankershim. Parking is plentiful, but just make sure you lock your doors. They always have the little stuff I have wanted. Service is good, they need to hire more people tho. read more

If you're hoping to make a quick stop in to buy basic essentials (toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) forget about it. Everything you probably want to buy is locked in a case. Expect to spend 10-30 minutes waiting around for someone to get around to you in the line of other people who also need something in locked cases. Tatev in the pharmacy should genuinely not be a pharmacist. She openly admitted to not filling prescriptions she thought people couldn't afford...without notifying patients. Went a week without a prescription update. Doctor & insurance both stated it is approved & with the pharmacy. When called she said "oh well it's a high copay that most can't afford." When I said "choosing to withhold filling prescriptions because of copay cost without notifying patients is not a choice you get to make." She stated "yes it is and because of how you said that to me I will wait until another 3 days to process this since I'll be off. You can wait until next week for it." Sorry but pharmacist do not get to play god with patients...that is for skeezy insurance companies. We are supposed to not have issues with the middle person. Last minute shopping for a gift card. After work, I was searching for a place to buy a gift card that is on my way home. It was 7ish so the parking lot is almost empty as well as the store which I like. They have a big stand of different gift cards. I found what I was looking for and head to the card for all occasions. CVS is located near the metro station, which is convenient, but you need to be careful because there are often homeless people around, and there's a risk of being robbed. It's good that a security guard is now present, which makes it feel safer. This is not the pharmacy where I usually get my prescriptions delivered, but I was able to find what I needed. It seems like they've changed the staff: two ladies at the registers were very kind, but another employee gave me a judgmental look, which was unpleasant. There's parking near the pharmacy, but it's not always available, especially during peak hours. read more

This CVS is so crap it's unbelievable. I just waited 30 minutes to pick up a refill prescription they said would be ready today. It is 6 PM and they told me they would expedite it to be ready in another 30 minutes. I refuse to let them waste another minute of my time today so now I have to come back. I mean.... I'm giving them 5 stars because the workers deal with some crazy people and deserve a break. I've never had a bad experience here myself, but I have been here several times to pick up my meds and the cops had to be called on other unruly people. Look. If I can take my meds. If you're going to go in to the store to buy something, perfect. You'll find what you're looking for, but this store is severely understaffed so if you come during a wave you'll have a line. DO NOT order pickup from this store though. Because of the staffing issue it's a toss up on whether you'll get the stuff you want or not. They're rushing so they're grabbing whatever looks right. They'd hear from me but I'm still dealing with COVID and my voice sound ridiculous. No hate to the pharmacy though. I've seen 10 people come it all at once and the staff is scrambling to make sure everyone has been helped. Unfortunately this team deals with waves of customers for some reason. This is ridiculous. I submitted and provided every info that they needed for my prescription refills. And it's been more than three weeks now and I have not receive any of my medications. I hate this. I just spoke with Lucy and she's nice enough to answer all my question and says will help me and will call my previous pharmacy. I will not suggest to anyone to have business to this place. Pharmacy tech reasons for not processing my refills is they were on hold for an hour at the pharmacy which I myself as was an employee from kaiser will never put you on hold for an hour. She has been over the top helpful and friendly even when you can see they are sooooo busy. Even then she was patient and had a smile to greet with. I only hope this review doesn't get her transferred to a better place!!! The las few months or so have been A++++++. She clearly has been a breath of fresh air to this place. All of the reviews you see here are ACCURATE to the CORE. The pharmacists here are some of the rudest pharmacists I've ever come in contact with and you can tell they were definitely mean girls in high school or they just absolutely hate their lives, perhaps both. 1) the woman at pickup was kind, but she spoke so quiet I literally had no idea what she was saying, she also had no idea what she was doing in terms of my prescription. 2) the pharmacists (idk what their names were) were so dismissive and judgmental, buddy-buddy, even giggling at times when I was seeking help. After 45 minutes, I gave up and left. Quite literally the most unproductive hour I've ever spent in a CVS. Will be getting my prescriptions sent elsewhere ASAP. DO NOT GO HERE. Understaffed, understocked, undermanaged. The truth is, you're going to come here anyway. You don't have a choice -- if CVS handles your medications and you live remotely nearby, you have to come here. And they know this. That's why management can't be bothered to fix or change anything. And the poor handful of employees they have try their best, but are wildly overwhelmed. (And if you call, expect to be on hold for 15-20 minutes minimum.) The pharmacy and pharmacist is a joke. I'm currently here sick for an hour now waiting and they are so rude. They noticed me waiting and we figured out my prescription was sent to the wrong location. After correcting the address to here, I asked when how long and she said 1 hr ??!!! That there is more to be filled before mine. I was the only person standing here. And how long can i possibly be to grab my antibiotic and do mine since I'm standing here. So she's just being a B making me wait. I guess writing this review is the only thing i can do and let her have her minute of power. Well 2 hours or power. You'd think as a pharmacist you'd understand that the people you're filling antibiotics to are sick and just getting to the pharmacy is a lot let alone waiting for an extra hour for it to be filled. I went in for my annual flu shot this weekend and was surprised when the pharmacist said my new insurance didn't cover the shot. I'm on an individual plan (not through my employer), so I assumed it must be because of my new type of plan. Well today I found out that not only is my flu shot 100% covered, Oscar specifically has a relationship with CVS Pharmacy. I called Oscar and they told me the pharmacist never even submitted a claim. When I called CVS back for a refund, the woman on the phone was nice and told me they would refund me if I came back in, but it's a total pain. When I looked through Yelp reviews, it looks like they've done this before -- so make sure you question the pharmacist if they say your shot isn't covered! read more

Worst Pharmacy EVER! Naie, the pharmacist, told me the VA doesn't cover CVS...they are literally in the VA network. After an hour of Naie and her pharmacy technicians "Gregor" and "Marsha" rudely trying to turn me away, I finally called the VA insurance provider, Tri-West. Tri-West told me they have the same number I called and are trained to call them if they have issues, NOT TURN AWAY VETERANS. Once the lady informed them of how to do their job, they just hand me my medication. No apologies, no sorry for the wait and the mixup and trying to turn you away! No respect, no training, no customer service skills. These people SUCK from top to bottom. This is the second CVS I've had this experience with, first one on Hollywood Way in Burbank. I will never be back at a CVS as long as I live and will be complaining to corporate about these unskilled rude pharmacists & technicians. read more

What a mess! We went to this location for our COVID boosters. We checked in on the phone, (per the instructions), waited ten minutes in line to let the pharmacist know we were there, and then waited another 30 minutes until we got our shots. The pharmacists seemed to be all over the place. There weren't enough chairs for the number of customers/patients in the vaccine waiting area, so we walked around the aisles for 15 minutes before leaving. read more

This review is strictly for the pharmacy, it is the absolute worst pharmacy to get anything filled at. It does not matter what time of day you go you'll be waiting at least 30 minutes and they could not care less about any questions you may have in regards to your medication it's unreal.
