Instead of addressing the concerns, he became dismissive and ultimately refused to work with me, calling my questions "red flags." And these mirrors are very heavy! I was very impressed with his cleverness in hanging them. The pole ended up being more of a challenge since it didn't fit in the room. But he helped me figure out a solution by cutting down the pole a bit. Pricing was more than fair, especially with the amount of work and brainstorming that had to be done to install these giant mirrors and pole. He also answered all my questions and explained his thought processes. I definitely learned a few things. I plan to hire Mario again in the future for other work.

Steve at My Family Handyman came by to take care of a few house projects that I had put off longer…read morethan I'd like to admit. Scheduling was straightforward, though there was a little mix-up with the date and time, so he ended up coming a bit later than planned. We hired him to rehang a door, mount cabinets on a wall that had both gas lines and electrical behind it, and install shelving tracks. He was careful not to hit anything that could've caused trouble, and everything turned out solid and secure. What I appreciated most is that he got through all three projects within the budget and time frame we agreed on, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. I'm glad we hired him. Getting these projects done really put the final touches around our home and made the spaces feel complete.

It's humongous, heavy, and no one's touched it since it was installed in the '70s. I reached out to a few handymen on Yelp, and I liked Justin's responses and responsiveness the best. A couple of guys had said they couldn't do it, and another was very brusque in his responses. Justin was thorough and polite! He came by today, was super punctual, and tackled the problem right away. Not only did he fix the door so my parents wouldn't have to purchase new doors, he took the time to vacuum and even used a pen to get all the dust/hair/debris that had gathered in the track over the years. We were thrilled with the outcome, and will definitely call Justin in the future for our handyman needs!
