We highly recommend CYC Landscaping! Mark helped our dreams come true on our newly built home in North Scottsdale. Mark and his team had a blank slate and took our inspiration and wants and designed the most beautiful hardscape and landscape design that truly exceeded our expectations. Mark had a large scope and his attention to detail really showed while still taking our budget into consideration and often offered alternative options, to not sacrifice design, but to support our budget. Besides all the hardscape and landscape, Mark and his team designed/built our outdoor kitchen, fire pit and half sized basketball /pickleball court. It is hard to imagine what it would look like all pulled together (although he does design on paper, so you will now exactly what you are getting) but Mark exceeded any and all of our expectations. We get so many compliments from all our guests! I trust Mark and his team and highly recommend CYC Landscaping!

I came home fro work to find that these landscapers had services our yard, charged us, and didn't even trim the bushes. Not the first time we have had problems with them. Laziness and obviously they don't care about their customers. I don't have time to babysit these people any longer. Called the manager and he didn't even apologize. He was too busy "at the races" with his kids.

We had CYC landscape our backyard four years ago and not a rainstorm goes by that I don't think to myself, "wow those guys did an awesome job". They did such a superb job preparing our yard before laying artificial grass and pavers that we never have any flooding. The rain drains almost immediately. The last big storm we had in Phoenix a month ago (where there was flooding everywhere!) we did have an ankle deep pool in the turf area, but it had drained in about an hour after the rain had stopped. We also use CYC's sister company, Complete Yard Care to do bi-monthly maintenance on our yard and they do an excellent job, even fixing things or cleaning up messes without being asked. They're always professional, and we get a polite knock at the door before each service to make sure we don't have anything special we need done. Our backyard is beautiful as well, and when we move to our new house I will definitely miss my little oasis, which is why we'll be having CYC Landscaping do the work we're planning at the new house!

We got 5 different quotes, and even though they came in higher than some, they do a great job of educating you on why, and they have all the receipts to back that up. We went with them for that peace of mind, the unmatched warranty, and knowing it would be done correctly and not falling apart in a couple years. They way they manage the entire project from the first to last step, is a constant reminder on why they are worth it. They run this ship like a well oiled machine! Every appointment was so professional, always on time, and always informative. From the very first appointment with Joe, he was so kind and personable and informative. He really treats the whole appointment like an educational session, and I understand why now. I was thankful for all the information, and how non-salesy he is, no pressure and just really comfortable and detailed as well. He provided very professional, detailed drawings and photos of what it would look like. When we met the project manager, Chris, he was just as friendly and personable and informative. He kept us updated at every step, and was on top of every detail. He always texted us updates, and very communicative. The crew they sent out - AMAZING. Not only did they get the job done in half the time, but their attention to detail was above and beyond! They were very friendly, and top notch on their work ethic. On the final clean up day, I was expecting maybe an hour of tidying up, but what I got was one extremely dedicated guy that spent 5 hours METICULOUSLY double checking every inch of my entire yard, even the areas that they did not work on. He cleaned every inch of our yard, the street, the driveway and even part of our neighbors! He held a level AGAIN at every section of the pavers and double checked it, and then he cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Every time I thought he was almost done, he'd come back with a new tool for more cleaning. Truly, I've never seen a crew work so hard and diligently and be so scrupulous with their attention to detail. You also get a portal to track the entire project, and to access all the warranty and contract docs that no one wants to file anyway. I would highly highly recommend System Pavers for any project, and we will absolutely use them again. Thank you!

We chose System Pavers because they were the premium option. They were also the highest bid we…read morereceived (around $38,000), but we believed we were paying for quality, expertise, and project management. Their sales presentation was impressive, and we were told they would coordinate everything for our pool patio remodel. Unfortunately, our experience looked nothing like the polished videos we were shown. The project stretched from February 5 until May 14 and required constant homeowner involvement. Instead of having a project manager ensuring the work met quality standards, I felt like I became the project's quality-control inspector, inspecting every stage of construction, discovering mistakes, documenting issues, and asking for them to be corrected. I expected to hire a contractor. Instead, I spent three months acting as the quality-control inspector for my own project. During the project we dealt with broken pool pipes, damage to our pool aerator, fill tank, and underground plumbing, uncapped sprinkler lines beneath the patio, missing weed barriers, uneven pool coping, improper edging, damaged landscaping, and extensive construction debris left throughout our property and neighboring yards. In addition, several pieces of our personal property were damaged or destroyed, including a broken pool net, broken garden hoses, a seven-foot wooden shade post that workers used as a cutting surface, and a planter that was thrown away after crews moved retaining wall blocks to drive equipment through our yard. We also endured weeks of piles of pavers, dirt, rocks, and construction materials stacked in front of both our home and neighboring properties, along with plastic bottles, McDonald's bags, and other food waste left behind by crews. One thing that became obvious was the lack of communication between departments. The salesperson promised certain things that the installation crews clearly never knew about. For example, we specifically discussed reusing our landscape rock, but it was thrown away during demolition because that information never reached the crew. Customer service became increasingly frustrating. When we emailed management documenting workmanship concerns, we received little response regarding the actual problems but had no trouble receiving payment requests. During one phone call, the project manager told us, "We thought the ship had sailed on customer service." Hearing that after months of issues was incredibly disappointing. One issue that really damaged our trust involved the sprinkler system beneath the patio. When water started shooting through the middle of the new pavers, we were initially told the lines had definitely been capped and it must simply be leftover water. Once someone inspected the problem in person, the response became, "Oh, we must not have capped them." Because multiple pool components had already been damaged during demolition, I insisted on having the underground plumbing pressure tested before resurfacing the pool. That test found additional damage that required repair before the pool could be completed. Had we not pushed for that testing, the pool company told us hidden leaks could have remained beneath newly installed plaster. Near the end of the project, I refused to sign the Certificate of Completion until the remaining work was finished. I was initially told work would have to be delayed if I didn't sign first. After refusing, management then said they would finish the work regardless of my signature. That experience left me questioning why there was so much pressure to sign paperwork before the project was actually complete. To be fair, not everything was negative. The second project manager, Jose Corral, completely changed the direction of the project. He was knowledgeable, honest, respectful, and immediately recognized many of the quality issues that had been overlooked. He worked hard to make things right and deserves recognition because he was the one person who consistently treated us like valued customers. I understand that construction projects can have unexpected challenges. My frustration isn't that everything didn't go perfectly--it's that we paid premium pricing and repeatedly had to advocate for issues that should never have occurred in the first place. Looking back, I don't regret investing in our home--I regret having to spend three months acting as the quality-control inspector on a premium-priced project. Homeowners shouldn't have to monitor every phase of construction just to ensure the work is completed correctly. If you're considering System Pavers, keep detailed written records, photograph every phase of the project, inspect everything before it gets covered up, and don't sign completion paperwork until every punch-list item has been completed. They did an extensive front area remodel --4100 square feet of pavers for a circular drive, re-designed the front hill by removing 20 tons of dirt and old plants, added a river bed, replaced all the granite, installed new lighting and watering system, added new plants, built stone accent walls and the list goes on. Once you give Sean a deposit and you agree on the work, he gives you a firm start and end date. Taking into account weather delays, the schedule is right on target. Our project encountered one entire week of rain but the crew worked through it (6 days a week, 7-5) and finished the project within only a few extra days from the original end date. The crew was timely, professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. If we ever had questions or needed to reach Sean, we received a return call, text or email within minutes. Having lived in Arizona for almost 50 years and dealing with many contractors, we can honestly say that Sean and Envirogreen Landscaping are the only contractors that we do not have one complaint to express. They were awesome! As a side note, Sean and Envirogreen did a major project for our community about 5 years ago. Many of his workers are still with Envirogreen which says volumes! I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!

We used JNK for a minor project two years ago, and Naji and the crew were superb: they showed up on time, worked diligently to finish the project in a professional manner, and brought a remarkable attention to detail to their work. Therefore, we chose them again for this much larger project, and I'm pleased to say they exceeded our expectations in every way. Naji arrived to discuss the project, and based on our conversations with him, was well-prepared to discuss options. He is a deeply knowledgeable person who is personable, professional, and truly customer-focused. The crew showed up right on time, and the point person on the job, Joaquin, explained the process of removing sod and dirt and installing the pavers--over 1,000 of them. It was a crew of seven, who were perfectly coordinated, worked well together, and hustled to get the job done in the promised timeframe--one day, which astonished my wife and me. Because the job required cutting a number of pavers there was quite a bit of brick dust. After completion, Joaquin used the hose to meticulously spray off all of our trees, shrubs, and all of the rock, to make it look pristine--that's going the extra mile! You can evaluate other companies, but if you want exceptional quality, attention to detail, honesty, and integrity, I recommend JNK without exception or qualification. We began by ripping out existing plants, pavers, brown gravel, and artificial turf for both a putting green and a general use area. We started by building a pool (a cheap plug for Dolphin Pools who did an amazing job). After the pool was completed, the second half of the project was ready to begin. This is where Colorworks stepped up to the plate. I could not begin this without mentioning one of the owners, "Jon Hammel". Colorworks Landscape Design, Inc. received rave reviews on Google and Yelp, so we reached out and were promptly scheduled for a complimentary estimate. Upon Jon's arrival, I could sense his excitement and creativity as he envisioned transforming our dream backyard into the upgraded space we desired. Although we had a plan in place, Jon skillfully incorporated his unique ideas, resulting in a comprehensive rendering of the project. We were immediately convinced that Colorworks was the ideal choice for our project. What truly set Jon apart was his unwavering honesty and thoughtful approach to refining our existing plan, ensuring that it reached its full potential. I want to clearly state that there are many stages to such a massive project. There are always going to be delays, and we had a few. Additional parts needed to be ordered, and of course, the weather did not always agree (lots of rain). Since our backyard is not the largest, every inch of the project required attention, and Jon fully comprehended that. The project included 3 large retaining walls, 164 Sq ft. of pearlescent travertine, 18 Indian laurel ficus trees with 6 tons of topsoil, 450 sq ft. of Daytona 80 0z turf, 4 stoned columns on a pergola, a wood accent backdrop for pots, and white rocks. This also included taping into existing irrigation drip, electrical lines, and reusing leftover pavers in other areas. Jon (along with our ideas) was the brains of the project, but Cesar Aldama is the contractor who brought it all together. Cesar, along with Ginato, is an excellent team. They showed up on time and worked tirelessly each day, and consistently cleaned up before they left. They always treated our home with respect, and we couldn't help but notice. Cesar is an expert in construction projects and possesses extensive knowledge in the field. My wife, being meticulous and OCD, wanted perfection in the job. Cesar meticulously coordinated with us on every aspect of the project, providing valuable advice on what could and couldn't be done. He is truly an artist, and we couldn't thank him and Ginato enough. The straightforward truth is that Colorworks fulfilled their promise! I can't forget to mention other members of the team that did amazing work: Jeff (owner), Mark, Manny (Turf installer and his awesome crew). Colorworks Landscape Design, Inc. is an exceptional choice, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. It's one of the easiest 5-star reviews I've ever written. Gary and Terra!
