Omgee our local Cycle Gear location in our city moved to Goodyear. Right in the shopping center with some of my favorite stores. Their new location is sexy and huge!!! I think they get a lot more street bike business, but they have so much to offer. Customer service with the employees they have had the past year is always awesome. I bet it is a treat working at this new location. It makes me want to join my husband and ride dirtbikes. Unfortunately I fall on them even when the kickstand is down. When I rode one they forgot to show me how to brake and I had 4 grown men chasing through the desert trying to catch me to help me stop so I have retired. Ha ha My husband loves riding in the desert. No more track riding since the one in our area closed and after breaking his arm in 2 places with a concussion. Del Webb had a nightly parade of trucks lined up at the hospital with bikes in the back parjed in thr emergency parking lot. The fresh Arizona air in the cooler months with the beautiful scenery and the freedom of a single track really helps my husband wind down froma crazy work week and stay fit. Cycle Gear is so hand to have and even though a new location, my husband can swing in here on his way home from work. Being near all my favorite stores, he doesn't need to ask me twice if I would like to go.

The competition in the area has nothing on this place. Their prices and service are outstanding.

My experience…read morestarted off strong; I was greeted warmly with a water, and my salesman, Dustin, was a polite, upfront gentleman. However, the experience fell apart during the trade-in process. After being quoted a fair range of $1,500-$2,000, the "verdict" came back at a laughable $500 for a low-mileage Ninja 300, citing wear-and-tear costs that didn't come close to justifying a $1,500 drop. When I chose to walk away from the deal and mentioned that my time had been wasted, I was met with shocking behavior from the General Manager, Brian Ruiterman. Instead of trying to save the deal or de-escalate, Brian made a dismissive hand gesture and told me, "BYE, BYE." To be treated with such arrogance by a GM is unacceptable. Dustin actually came out to apologize for his manager's behavior, which says a lot about the culture Brian is fostering. I would have likely bought the bike outright without the trade-in if the management hadn't been so disrespectful. I will be reaching out to corporate and Gina Marra. If this is how the leadership treats customers, go elsewhere.

In what took less than 3 minutes Kyle was still getting himself worked up over this situation. Kyle even gave a rude hand gesture to the driver upon my leaving the property.

I wear L and…read moreXL, and according to the automated size software I should get a L, but using the actual measurement chart I had to get a Medium... I haven't worn a medium anything since high school. So definitely use the chart and NOT the size analysis thing, unless you like looking like a baggy bum. Glad I went that route, it DOES fit very well, just really odd sizing. I really do like it. I'll be honest though, this is not a $300 vest. I would happily pay $200, but the leather feels no different than any other leather and is actually 1.2MM as opposed to a more traditional 1.4. Overall I'm happy with the purchase though. I would like to see them show more love on the warranty because it does state it voids the warranty if you put patches or rockers on it, which is pretty much exclusively the dumbest thing I've ever heard considering the patches themselves aren't going to be ruining the actual seams or stitching; if a zipper or snap comes off how is that my rocker or tabs fault? Obviously it should be inspected and reviewed because people are always trying to get free shit but when it's obviously not the fault of the patch that should still fall under a warranty, logically. So I'm hoping they lighten up on that a bit, for $300 I feel I should get a little more support than that but, I digress. It's decent. I'm sure I'll get a lot of miles out of it but I'd love to keep it for a long time but I can't exactly predict if a snap will fall off or something. 4 stars for the shoddy warranty, I don't know who buys a vest and doesn't put tabs or rockers on them unless you're a nerd lol.

Oh matt, lying to make yourself look better…read more I took control of the situation to try and remedy the situation. The gift was for me. I can handle it. I have 18 emails to prove you're a liar. On top of you lying I called you out in public at an event. You gave me your supposed direct number that didn't work. So I emailed again. We scheduled a time. You didn't show up. Your employees were there laughing in the distance. 18 EMAILS later all you can do is lie to save face. Running your soft hands all over rebranded merch that you've sourced out doesn't impress anyone. Hard to have customers come through your doors when you leave them locked outside after scheduling an appointment.
