03/28/2026 Came in to purchase a motorcycle helmet. Ryan, the manager, helped us with our entire visit. Helped try on helmets to find the right fit and installed the Cardo unit we bought. We've previously come to purchase another helmet & Cardo unit, and again to balance a tire--Ryan helped us each time. Overall we ended up getting a helmet, Cardo freecom 4x, riding jacket, and some oil. Was able to utilize my military discount which was nice. Ryan was super patient and knowledgeable. This location is very good. I was in a bit of a bind trying to get four tires mounted after what I guess I would describe as maybe a miscommunication with another location. These guys went above and beyond in my opinion. Ryan, Harry, and Case? I'm not great with the names. But those three guys were incredibly nice, seemed knowledgeable, and even showed me a few things with my bearings and sprocket that I didn't know. They turned a kind of stressful situation into a positive experience and I will drive a few extra miles to go to their store when I find myself in the valley. read more

We stopped in today to check out some possible new riding gear. The boys have grown so much nothing is fitting. This store is pretty good size compared to other locations. Store was clean and easily to find what we were looking for. Service was awful however. Not one person said hello, asked if we need anything.....nothing. We were in the store for quite a while. Unfortunately we left empty handed. We'll most likely stick to one of the other locations in the future. read more

Omgee our local Cycle Gear location in our city moved to Goodyear. Right in the shopping center with some of my favorite stores. Their new location is sexy and huge!!! I think they get a lot more street bike business, but they have so much to offer. Customer service with the employees they have had the past year is always awesome. I bet it is a treat working at this new location. It makes me want to join my husband and ride dirtbikes. Unfortunately I fall on them even when the kickstand is down. When I rode one they forgot to show me how to brake and I had 4 grown men chasing through the desert trying to catch me to help me stop so I have retired. Ha ha My husband loves riding in the desert. No more track riding since the one in our area closed and after breaking his arm in 2 places with a concussion. Del Webb had a nightly parade of trucks lined up at the hospital with bikes in the back parjed in thr emergency parking lot. The fresh Arizona air in the cooler months with the beautiful scenery and the freedom of a single track really helps my husband wind down froma crazy work week and stay fit. Cycle Gear is so hand to have and even though a new location, my husband can swing in here on his way home from work. Being near all my favorite stores, he doesn't need to ask me twice if I would like to go. read more

So Sean is great and was helpful first trip and just went another time and was helped by another representative and was completely unhelpful and rude. If you're first starting out on owning a motorcycle definitely would not recommend going to this place of business, they will question your knowledge and make you feel completely dumb. When going to this specific cycle gear know what you need, get it, and don't listen to certain employees "recommendations". I was recommended and told to get a 200cc-400cc(which was for dirt bikes which I have a sportbike and aswell another employee confirmed I was sold the wrong chain for my bike) when I had a 600cc+ (which I knew what one to get but since you know "they're the experts" I listened) bike. Now due to this I have very costly repairs I have to fix outta pocket due to incompetence and when discussed about the issue towards higher staff (which never directly talked to their district manager like they said I would) they wanna say they aren't liable because "they do not know how the chain (a chain of all things which at the point they aren't manning up to their mistake) was put on". I've spent well over $600+ at this store (that I know could've used to fix the bike since I have to fix it with the money of out my own pocket) and even have a membership aswell so I would have to say honestly 2/10 for which only a 2 because one of the smarter employees confirmed I was right with the wrong chain predicament(and later membership incompetence that will be explained). So on top of that they completely messed up my membership almost making me pay for an additional years membership which I will never use the benefits of after spending all that money and this happens. But hey at least I'm owning up to my mistake which was trusting these certain employees and paying for it to be fixed myself when it should be common courtesy that they should it due to THEIR mistake. It doesn't take rocket science to put on a chain correctly. At this point after 2 years of riding im thinking about putting my helmet up and selling my bike for what it is after this fiasco and all I can say is, do better Goodyear Cycle Gear. read more

We had purchased two sets of riding communication systems that Monday and later found out they weren't what we needed. In short, John not only helped us return the original items but also helped us pick out exactly what we needed. He then went ten steps further and set up the headsets into two of our helmets even though they had already closed for the night. On 4/3/2021 I went to the Cycle Gear on Reems Rd. to have new tires mounted and balanced. The guys they had doing the mounting and balancing made it obvious they didn't want to do the work. The guy I was first talking to told me he had to get someone else To do it because he was leaving in 30 mins. The next guy got my info and starting looking for the tubes for my tires ( I called ahead to make sure they had them ) He said he was only able to find the front tube and they wouldn't mount my tires until they received the rear tube, so i told him I would go purchase a new rear tube from another place in town and bring it to them. He seemed hesitant but I let him know I needed them done because this is the only time I could do it because I ride the bike to work during the week (went to Ride Now to get the rear tube). By the time I got back they started the front tire. Rear tire was left unattended on showroom floor. Had to find someone in the back to give them the new rear tube. Took them an additional 2 hours to get them done, only to find out they were done incorrectly on my way to work when the front end started to sway on the freeway. Which it has never done before. I called Monday to speak to a manager after work to let him know the situation and that I noticed they had left old weights on one side of the rim. The manager argued that the tires left the "shop" perfectly balanced and that it didn't matter that the old weights were still on. And after he told me he has been doing this for a long time and knew what he was talking about I asked him when his balancer was recalibrated. He admitted seemingly proudly that it was around a year to a year and a half that the procedure was done. Which in reality this should be done at the very least twice a month but in reality should be done every morning to ensure safety for anyone who gets their tires balanced (especially for motorcycle tires). After giving him this information he apologized and offered a full refund and a free rebalance. I made him aware that I would prefer to go to a different location due to the Obvious lack of knowledge and "want to" at his location. If I was a beginner Rider I could have lost my life due to the lack of attention these people had. Want to keep two wheels down? Don't go to the cycle gear on Reems Road for Mount and balance. read more

I don't know much about bikes and stuff like that but when I do need some help shopping for one I will ask the staff here. They don't have bikes for sale but they do have all the accessories that you need. This will be my go to place. read more

I purchased a BiLT helmet a few years ago, and the rubber ring came off while out on a ride. I took the helmet in to see if they could recommend a good glue to repair it with, and they gave me a replacement helmet at no cost. They have some great customer service reps in this store, and some other motorcycle shops could learn something about it from these guys. Thank you again! read more

Their sales on items like Heat-Out Gear are a f*cking MIRACLE out here in the desert. Cycle Gear's product selection might not be great, but for what they do carry in-store, they have great prices and some awesome deals for every season. Gotta love 'em just for that. read more

So let me start off with the fact that I am a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and I have been going to this place since I moved here a year and a half ago. I have spend over 1500 dollars here since i have lived here mainly because they are cheaper then ride now. Until today.... I bought the battleax tire set for my R1 about 3 months ago. I have maybe put 2500 miles on them since i bought them. Two days ago i walked out and noticed my tire was indented in the middle with the braid showing. Holy crap. Mind you when i ride its always in a criss cross pattern. I dont burn out and i have never skidded the bike. I took it to someone i know who has been around bikes longer then I have. He agrees the only way to get that indent is if the tire was over inflated. I mean the sides were 80% and the middle was -10%! So here goes the problem. I asked travis the manager to help me out and mount a used tire that had more than 50% tread on it and no holes or anything and he told me no. Ok messed up but ok. He then tells me the cheapest tire he has is a diablo for 160. Well great not a bad tire why not. I find the diablo online for 132.53. Since they do price match figured thats even better. When i get there travis is gone. He twlls one of his sales guys through text that i am coming and to get me a dunlop qualifier...(garbage tire). I say no we talked about the pirelli diablo. The kid says ok thats fine but i have to run it through travis. He calls him and travis refuses to price match it and then says he cannot mount the tire until he comes back from prescott but if i want the dunlop his guys can mount it for me... So you want me to wait seven hours for you to come back to mount a tire i over payed for??! Got to be joking. So i end up going with the q3 (still a bad tire) just so these guys would mount it and not wait for him. Well when it comes down to the military discount I've always been given before i get told there is no military discount on tires because they are already prices less than everyone elses.... (i got a military discount on the last set) ok sooo i showed you a lesser price which INCLUDED being mounted for free. You CHARGE ME TO MOUNT MY TIRE AND FOR NUMEROUS OTHER FEES BUT YOURE CHEAPER THAN EVERYONE? Even RideNow mounts their tires for free. So for a 140 dollar tire...yes more expensive then the one i wanted that i would have had to wait seven hours for i end up paying over 180 bucks due to their "fees". And the worst part? I was the only one there for a tire. I was first in line. They tell me it will be an hour to do...Ride Now does it in 20. And they price match... So the worst part. I went next door to the coffee shop and wait over an hour. I come back and they say oh sorry at least we broke the bead...really???! It then takes the two of them another 45 minutes to an hour to mount and balance my tire. I will never go back. My friends that i bring with me every bike night and to buy stuff will never come back. And hopefully no Vet that I associate with will ever go back. This is as much of a slap in the face as the Obama taking five days to lower our flags to half mast. You dont support your Vets i do not support you. read more

Visited the store to introduce someone to the store because he just moved to the state and rides a motorcycle. About a year, year and a half ago, I had purchased a SEDICI motorcycle jacket from the Cave Creek location. Unfortunately, the zipper broke on that jacket about four months ago, so I had a useless jacket just collecting dust in my closet. When I mentioned this to John, the manager at this location (at first, I had no idea he was the manager), he pointed out the fact I could exchange the jacket. I went home, picked up my jacket, and returned to the store. I left with a brand new jacket and no money out of pocket! I did, however, purchase a few other items because of the tremendous amount of money John saved me. John and I spoke about many different products and he is knowledgeable in every aspect! He did act like he was in a hurry or just wanted me to purchase something. I hadn't shopped at Cycle Gear in quite some time because of unsatisfactory service at another location, but John made me a customer, a very happy customer, once again. I went to Cycle Gear to have a tire put on a wheel for my husband. They were so helpful. I did not even have to ask for help getting the tire from the trunk the clerk was making his way to the door to get the tire. I know this does not sound like alot but the tire is heavy and I went to Ride Now first on Bell rd and they did not even help me bring the tire in even tho they all seen me carrying the tire. We will do all our business with Cycle Gear. read more
