I'm doing this review as a walk off the street consumer. I don't ride, but my son does. Little backstory... my son got a dirt bike and has been replacing everything on it slowly and so far has had no issues. Well, he decides to replace his back tire. He's watched all the YouTubes, gotten all the tools/parts and he feels he's now well prepared to replace the tire. After 3 days of trying to get his new tire on the rim I tell him "let's just pay to have it done". Cycle Gear to the rescue. I, a boring mom, went into cycle Gear with a tire, a rim and no knowledge. Tommy was so great. He made me feel comfortable not knowing what I was doing or asking for. He assured me they could take care of the tire and get my son riding soon. Then there is Kate, she knows her stuff backwards and forwards. She told me things the tire/rim would need and got it off the shelf, instead of sending me out into the store on the hunt. The tire was ready in a matter of hours. When I walked in to pickup the tire, Kate welcomed me to the store by name. Tried to exchange knee guards that were to small for me. Store associateociate said they were "used" which they were not. They would not exchange. These are a $20 item. I probably spend $500 year in the store. I will now plan more ahead and order from Rocky Moutain. read more

I was in need of a new helmet and was planning on just shopping and fitting at the shop, then buying online. After trying on multiple lids, and getting some great advice from Brandon, I settled on a Schuberth modular. When we got to the price, we found out the helmet was on sale and was able to get the bluetooth accessory for about the same as some of their other helmets solo. Brandon also installed the bluetooth for me, while i waited. 5 stars for salesmanship and Customer Service! As I was riding that day I had to leave my old lid at the shop to pick up later. When i called today (about 15min before they closed ) The guy Greg that answered said, "you are just picking up your old helmet, c'mon by... we will still be here closing up. ...." When I asked for a product he didn't even offer to try to research it which of course would have made me spend more money here but guess my $ isn't good enough here. Stop by to buy riding gear, no one ask me if I needed help which I don't care about that too much because I don't like to get bother while shopping but my complaint is about the music that it was playing in the store! This is the place to go for gear! They have tons of different styles in jackets and helmets for women and men. Their boot selection is not as great but it's functional. Staff are super helpful and know what they are doing. Quality is good and they stand behind their products . Our jackets and gloves, Sedici brand, have a lifetime warranty on them. They even happily accept exchanges when you buy the wrong item. Love this place, everything about it is bette than Mountain Motorsports, their closest competitor. MM has NO selection, especially compared to this place! read more

At the time of my visit everything seemed great, good customer service and pretty informed on the bike I recently purchased. The trouble came when I brought the battery home. It had been incorrectly sealed and thus spilled all over my car mat. Battery acid and carpet don't mix. I got no apology and not even a sympathetic word. read more

Helped a lot with a helmet fitting even going is far as to asking an Arai rep for upgraded cheek pads. 1st star - Location CycleGear is in a good spot near Killer Creek Harley Davidson and Atlanta Motor World. You'll need to look for it just south of the Rick Case Hyundai dealership on Roswell Road. It's located in the same shopping center as TruPrep. 2nd and 3rd stars - Friendly staff I had a terrible time getting my noggin' fitted for my first motorcycle helmet. I measured my head at home and went into the store having some idea of what size I needed. After 1-2 helmet tests, I was referred to an Arai (expensive) Signet-Q -- a more long oval shell shape. I was hesitant to spend that kind of coin on a helmet, but it is my head, so I went with the recommendation. I custom ordered the helmet and went in to try it on. It seemed to fit pretty well, so I took it home to give it a longer fit test. The staff told me to come back if there were any issues. I ended up getting hot spots -- I'm at the edge of an XL helmet in most brands, so I took the Arai back and asked for advice. They ordered an XL and also contacted their Arai rep to see if there was a chance to get some replacement cheek pads if the XL was slightly loose. The XL Arai arrived, and it turned out I needed the thicker cheek pads. I was happy the staff went out of the way to work with a dealer rep to get me the right fit. I've ridden with the Arai several times now and it's been a great fitting helmet. 4th star - Weekly deals I signed up for the CycleGear newsletter, and I get notifications of specials quite a bit. They have something of interest to a rider almost every week. The deals on their store brands like Bilt and Sedici are pretty good. 5th star - Iffy in-house brand quality, have to custom order name brands I tried on a Sedici 3-layer mesh jacket that compared to a Tour Master Air Intake 3.0 mesh jacket. I found the seams / hems to be frayed and the multiple layers to be less than comfortable compared to the Tour Master product at near the the same price. Also -- CycleGear sells all the big name brands on their website. You have to special order them in the store, though. It's kind of a pain -- sometimes you just want the good stuff and not the house brand. Overall, I like CycleGear for those bits / pieces I need in a pinch. I still will probably cross shop big ticket bike gear online. read more

Once again, the Staff of the Roswell Cycle Gear surpass my expectations. All I needed was a replacement visor put on my ARAI Vector Helmet. Well, I left the helmet overnight since the old visor wasn't coming off and the Sales Person said Conner (?) was coming in the next day and he had a lot more working knowledge of ARAI Helmets. I had no problem leaving it until the next day for pick up and received a call before Noon that it was ready. When I get to the store, not only was the new visor in, but they took the time to actually take apart the side panels to clean and lube the visor gears and then clean up the shell to it's original glossy white. No extra charge involved and I was very appreciative for the effort put in. How can I not praise the Roswell Staff? Please let them take care of you when looking for bike parts or accessories; service like this is rare and a joy to experience read more

I've been going to Cycle Gear in Roswell for a number of years, and the main reason I keep going back is the staff. I feel I'm *always* guided in the right direction, and the advice invariably pans out. Additionally, they always go one step beyond in making sure their customers are satisfied. I recently needed to find the right paddock stand for my bike. Ben un-boxed one he felt would do the trick, assembled the proper spool holders, and made sure it not only fit my motorcycle, but worked perfectly for my purposes. This is value add you can't buy... The people working up front are amazingly knowledgable about bikes and the accessories, and I'm not sure about other Cycle Gears but these guys know the Sena communications systems like the back of their hands. I accidentally ordered the wrong battery for my Sena, and the customer service in the return process was absolutely top-notch, including a complimentary install in my helmet (far better than I could manage). Seriously, if you need a helmet, a bluetooth communications setup, anything, don't look online. Go see them first, and if they don't have it, order it from them. These folks are that cool. read more

Don't mind ordering, but we needed guidance in sizing. Was extremely disappointed. Got online on our way up the interstate and found good reviews about the Roswell store and Rachel. Let me tell you, Rachel is amazing and amazing is an understatement. My husband is hard to fit and although we had to order the gear.
