    When you're on two wheels, you gotta be geared up. Cycle gear is ready to provide everything need from boots to helmets, phone mounts, new tires, dirt bike gear, and much more. I like that we can try stuff on here and I found I tend to prefer the mens boots and gloves. They don't have much in the way of plus size gear for women but some jackets go up to a 2x. If you ride, you can usually see a familiar face or two while stopping by or make new friends. There are round picnic tables outside so you can rest up during a long trip or wait while they do the small repairs they do there. I have had great service here myself though the bathrooms are not the cleanest friends and you have to ask for someone to unlock it for you. The boys in the helmet section will help you find what you are looking for and will also sanitize the helmets for you- love it!

    Needed a pair of leather chaps. Walked in, asked for assistance, described what I needed, got helped immediately and was fitted. Good variety including sizes, great fit, good pricing, exceptional customer service and in and out within 30 minutes. Signed up for emails got 10% off plus spent $150 so got a $25 gift card which I applied to my purchase. Found a good deal on leather gloves, too. I'll be returning soon when I replace my helmet.

    I have been visiting store with my fiancé, same old guy at same location of sore, insulting the same way, I complain last time and as cycle gear respond I email it to the manager but look a like nothing happened, I come to conclusion that I never ever should shopping this store and look a like managers are behind this.

    Well we used to go to cycle gear but not anymore. We purchased a LC gas nozzle with a ball regulator. We went to go use it today and it broke. So we didn't even get to use the product one time it broke off. We called ahead of time and the lady refuses to help I didn't want a return but a simple exchange which they had the product in stock. They did not care that we never even got to use it so I will take my business else where.

    5 workers talking in the store I received no help and the prices are hundreds more than online stores for the same product.

Shawn Owens was fantastic - the bike was exactly as described and the entire purchase process was smooth and professional. The Bad - Indian Scout Sixty Consignment Sale: However, selling my 2024 Indian Scout Sixty through them has been an absolute nightmare. Here's the timeline of just trying to get my check: PAYMENT TIMELINE (49+ days and counting): October 3: Victoria confirms check (approximately $2,500) will be sent once title received October 27: I follow up after 24 days of silence October 30: Told check will be prepared "tomorrow" and mailed October 30: Provided my mailing address November 14: Still no check received - requested tracking number (15 days after supposed mailing) November 14: Forwarded to Victoria for Monday follow-up November 18: STILL no check, no tracking, no response from Victoria Major Issues: No tracking number provided despite multiple requests 18+ days since check was allegedly mailed - still haven't received it Poor communication - Victoria never followed up as promised Time-sensitive - I'm leaving the country next week with no resolution Communication delays on other issues: While I understand the odometer discrepancy was ultimately a DMV issue (which can be ignored), it took weeks of back-and-forth just to get clarity on something I flagged back in August - another example of the ongoing pattern of poor communication Bottom Line: Great at selling bikes, terrible at follow-through on consignment sales. If you're buying, you'll probably have a good experience. If you're selling through them, be prepared to chase them for weeks to get your money. Nearly 2 months later, I still don't have my payment and am being sent in circles. Would I recommend? Buy from them - yes. Sell through them - absolutely not.

Both times I asked for the price quote over the phone/text and got a cashiers check for that amount and had no extra fees attached or added. The whole team from the Service Counter, Sales, and Garage were all helpful and treated me like a valued customer.     I was searching for a specific Dual Sport, a Beta RS 500. There are very few dealers, and this bike…read moreis somewhat hard to find. I found one at Capitol Yamaha in Sacramento. I live about 2 hours away so I spoke with the sales rep, Ernie and handled everything over the phone. This part of the process was fairly easy. I went to pick up the Beta a couple days later, and that is when things went south. When I arrived to pick it up, it was ready to go, signed the paper work, loaded it up and headed home. When I arrived home and went to unload my new Beta, I noticed parts were hanging off the bike. Upon further inspection I noted screws missing, loose bolts, and a broken left mirror. I let them know, and they apologized and said to bring the bike back so they could go through it, again. I tightened things back up myself, and strapped down the part that was hanging off. When I took it for a test ride, something blew out from around the silencer and melted to it, leaving an ugly mess, coolant was also leaking from a lower radiator hose, and throttle response was very jerky, and not smooth. I parked the bike, loaded it back up and brought it two hours back to the dealer a few days later due to the long holiday weekend. When I dropped it off, Mike the service manager made me feel like they were doing "ME" a favor by fixing it, even though some of the issues were due to their negligence.I asked if they were trained on this bike, they said no. So they're selling and servicing a bike they are not technically trained on? I contracted Beta USA, they contacted Capitol Yamaha and walked them through repairs. After another week, I was told the bike was ready and drove another two hours to pick it back up. Returned home and proceeded to adjust the levers for my riding style. When I went to adjust the front brake lever, loosening the top clamp bolt first, the head of the bolt snapped off. I took it for a test ride and the idle was so high it was like it had cruise control. Very frustrated, I called the dealer again. Spoke with Mike, and again he made me feel like they did me a favor, never once offering anything for my troubles. I contacted Beta USA again, looking for another dealer to take it to, and they got me in touch with another dealer. I contacted the other dealer, and immediately they gained my confidence by explaining why I was having some of the issues I was dealing with, and knew exactly how to resolve them. I'd like to also add that Beta sent me a hat and t-shirt for my troubles. Yes, a branded hat and t-shirt. Yay for me! I had just spent $14K on a new Dual Sport bike that has numerous issues. I'm currently scheduled to bring it in to the other dealer. Will updated once work is completed. All in all, I feel like the dealer dismissed me away, and Beta USA did the bare minimum. Very disappointed, and feeling as if I should have gone to my local KTM dealer and went that route.
