Sure enough, I was charged $599 over what I should have. They did refund that amount. If I would not have looked it over closley, I would have been out that money. The second incident occur a couple days ago. I got a 5k service done. A wash is included with that service. when I got my bike, I could tell it had not been washed. I emailed the service manager and he confirmed my bike had not been washed as we specifically discussed. They allegedly did a "wipe down" instead. I had wiped my bike down before bringing it in for service so it need a full wash and we discussed this very thing. For some reason there was sand all over my bike. sand even on the dashboard of the fairing. not a happy customer for sure.

While we always…read morethought they were a bit expensive they always treated us fairly and honestly until a couple of weeks ago. We listed our Harley on FB a rep from their establishment called us. They offered my husband a price which was ridiculously low he said no and told her what he would take and ended the conversation. Not more than 5 minutes later she called back to say OK they would give us that and arranged to have the bike picked up, brought to their store to make sure everything was good and to write us the check. All this happened, we were told to drive down there which we did and they tried to low ball us $2000.00. Very poor service came up with ridiculous things that they thought needed to be done. Then when we said we wanted the bike brought back they said they couldn't get to it until the following week! We said absolutely not and thankfully they do have employees that actually care about people and we're able to get it back to us the original day. ​There is no way we will ever do business with them again or will we ever recommend their business to our biker and other friends.

Wanted to get new wiper blades and light bulbs since I tend to do a lot of night time driving. Staff were busy, probably about a half dozen customers in the store. I normally look for the items myself via vehicle parts search on their website; found them, brought the items up to the register. A really kind and knowlegable gal (and here, I'm apologetic that I don't remember her name) helped me by verifying that I was getting the correct blades/bulbs for my vehicle (they weren't lol). She helped me get the correct stuff and even offered to help replace them for me--I was very grateful. I've switched out blades/bulbs on my own, but she was so kind and patient while she did that for me. She really gave me a moment to just be still and collect myself from the hectic day I was having. Absolutely amazing!…read more I was skeptical going to an auto shop connected to a gas station but I'm SOOO glad I did. WHAT HAPPENED: I blew out a run flat on an AWD vehicle in the evening not long before closing time. I called several large chains who specialize in tires closer to my flat location who all told me crazy things from "they didn't have the equipment to take my tire off and they'd have to cut it off and replace it with a regular tire" to "I could play for a regular set of tires then but a set of run flats when they ordered some" (aka pay for two sets of tires). HOW THEY HELPED: I called North Oaks Auto Service at the urging of a friend. Josh assured me they could handle my tire no problem and waited for me to arrive despite the fact he was getting ready to close. While they didn't have 4 tires that would fit my car they were able to get 4 tires in first thing the next morning and have me on my way by 10am! Amazing service and customer service. I purchased the bike on March 5, 2024 with 15,253 miles. Over the next year I added approximately 10,000 miles and kept up with regular maintenance throughout ownership. At the time of purchase, I also bought what is presented as the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan (administered by Continental Service Provider), with the understanding that it would provide meaningful coverage in the event of a major mechanical failure. On July 29, I began a trip from Minneapolis to Sturgis. The ride was uneventful through Worthington and Sioux Falls, and I continued west on I-90 at normal highway speeds (80 mph). After roughly 140 additional miles, near Chamberlain, SD, the engine suddenly lost power. A rider behind me observed smoke and flames exiting the exhaust. I immediately shut the engine down and coasted to a stop, at which point the engine had seized and would not restart. Due to the timing during Sturgis Rally, Rapid City Harley-Davidson was unable to take the repair. I incurred over $700 in towing costs, along with approximately $600 in additional travel expenses (rental car, hotel, and return flight). The motorcycle was ultimately returned to Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson in Eden Prairie, MN, where I was informed the failure was due to a blown wrist pin and catastrophic piston damage. I was also told there was no maintenance-related action that would have prevented this failure, and that this type of failure is considered extremely rare. The repair estimate was approximately $11,000, which exceeds the value of the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan only covered up to the market value of the bike (approximately $6,000), leaving a substantial remaining balance. At the time, I still owed approximately $5,000 on the loan. I was offered approximately $3,000 for the motorcycle toward the purchase of a new bike, which would have required rolling negative equity into another loan. While I was told this was essentially a "once in a lifetime" type of failure, my experience was that there was little effort made to stand behind the product or build customer loyalty after the fact. Given that this failure occurred after roughly one year of ownership and consistent maintenance.
