I called Thursday 21 June at 5:45 and David had it ready. It's incredible he got it all done within the "couple days" as suggested. I'm picking it up this morning and will write a follow-up after I peel myself off it! OK, he did a few things unexpected. The turn signal switch was "sticky", as well as the brake light switch. He must have cleaned them as they work just like new now. As for the other issues, tires- take-offs but of very good quality and excellent condition. Brakes- all three sets EBC, final drive- DID 520 and sprockets front and rear. Oil change- Royal Purple synthetic and Hiflo filter. Fork seals- replaced as well as fork oil. All told I am VERY happy with Cycle Techs work, and the pricing was well below any dealer would dream of. Not to mention this all was completed in an amazing two days! Moto Cafe has the best turkey burger in town. The salads are excellent and to top it all off the owners, management, staff, cooks, and mechanic are FIRST CLASS! I eat there at least 3 days a week and always feel welcome. Dave (the mechanic) is quite knowledgable and the Cafe is completely state of the art. There are so many things to do that you can find yourself just hanging out there all day. There is a pool table, flat screens all over with mind boggling races playing all of the time. The lastest motorcycle magazines, They even have a sitting area with a playstation! Even though the cafe is geared towards racing bikes those of us on cruisers feel quite welcome. wow... just worked my Honda XR650R a little bit off in the desert. Rear wheel bearings and fork seals has to be replaced. And cause we´re from Germany and just travelling through Vegas, I looked for a fast and good work for a reasonable price. I called CT and got David on the phone. I explained the work and that we´ll be just for some days in Vegas. 20 minutes later he gave me a call back and said, that the bearings will be deliverd next day and teh fork seals are in stock yet. Brought the bike in the same day evening and got a call from Badger next day around noon, to pick it up. They matched their estimate, did a good work and where fast. I arrived in Las Vegas just after noon on a very hot Monday with a chain that was starting to show several links seizing up and not likely to make it home, several thousand miles away. A call to Cycle Tech was answered right away and after checking their inventory they gave me an installed price that was very reasonable. I expected to have to make an appointment and have to extend my stay beyond the planned two days but to my pleasant surprise I was told to get right over there and get it done. I found this shop via word of mouth. The guys quoted me $200 LESS than the dealership to jet the carburetor. When I brought it in, Badger and Nick rode it and agreed it didn't need to be jetted. After checking the spark plugs (with a full tank) Badger noticed that the dealer technician kinked the brake line, which he proceeded to fix for no charge. Overall, my expectations were completely exceeded. They did not take advantage of my naivety and were kind enough to explain things in a manner that a novice could understand. They gave me a quote and a time estimate. These guys installed the parts I brought in. They did not try to up sell me or "convince" me in anyway. The work was done under the estimate (saving money) and my bike was done way sooner than expected. I took my bike to cycle tech to have a new exhaust slip on put on a couple weeks ago. Scott and Nick were very helpful and had it on in no time. I had to take it back for an ECU flash and Scott took care of that also, informing me of what he was doing as he did it. I have to say obviously my bike has never sounded better but she also runs better than she ever has!!! My bike will be taken care of by them from now on. Wow! (First time Client) Impressed! All the BIG brand name shops didn't want to work on my older (84) Goldwing, and even said parts aren't available. (not true) Cycle-Tech solved my Clutch & Brake issue, set the idle right, and did it 2-days quicker than promised! Dave was so awesome! I could not recommend him more! I needed a part that was no longer sold by the manufacturer, he had it, I came in same day, and he even took his time to teach me how the for adjustments work, and even installed the part in my forks!
