I took a neglected e-bike into the shop after requesting quotes on Yelp. Kapfenberg Chinchilla (owner) was great. I left the bike in good hands. Before quoting a price, they made sure I understood the pros and cons. It was a great experience and I feel very safe to ride.

Ended up with a flat and no spare. No worries though. Cycling World staff helped out.

From repairs to cleaning your bicycle, Cycling World is the place to go. Chinchilla is the owner of the place. Ever the helpful, friendly and welcoming person. But the goodest employee is Bolt. I'm always happy to see him help greet customers. My bf and I have always come here when we have issues with our bikes or in need of a general tune up. The prices are quite reasonable, definitely cheaper than Incycle, since this is a smaller company.

Took my bike for repairs beside from good service the service fee is quite reasonable for an average rider like me, Tech Chichila really took care of my bike, my primary concern was a busted button brackets but on top of that he made all the adjustments particularly on my derailleurs & shifters made it feel like new again, inspite for a basic bike like mine, Great job & keep up the good work bro!

can you find Bolt? hehe, and my bike on the stand with Chinchilla helping me out

Came in for a small repair and they took care of me ASAP, bought some supplies as well and they had what I needed in stock.

Ask the Community - Cycling World

Is this shop still in business? I ask because I came today and it said they were closed today on Monday at noon.

My kids old bikes maybe too small and need some fix ups? Do you guys do trade-ins?

How much does it cost to fix a back v brake cable?

What's the cost to repair or replace a flat tire on a BMX bike?

How much does it cost, parts and labor, to install a basket (size: hold two grocery bags) on a female bike?

When I actually went in, they gave me the time of day to help me find the parts that worked best for me. I've been to other bike shops where I have questioned the work done, the price they charged, or both! But I never walked out of this place with that kind of feeling. It's nice to feel like I have a shop I can go to that I could trust. I would rather drive extra to come here than visit my local bike shops. I'll be back, I have a lot of bikes...

I asked the employee if it made sense to perform any of the fixes (aka is it going to cost more to fix than buy a new bike) and he said likely. On the spot, he fixed my daughter's chain and said it would be $8.50, amazing. He then looked at my son's strider bike and said that the bearings would need to be replaced and that he would look for the part and call me when it was ready. He told me it would cost parts ($8-9 dollars / bearing) + labor. Given that he fixed my daughter's bike for less than $10, this sounded reasonable. This is partially my mistake, I should've asked him how much the labor was going to cost. I went home, got the call to pick everything up. I was shocked to be quoted $80ish dollars for the strider bike: ~$30ish for 3 bearings and $40ish for the labor. A brand new strider bike costs $80. It would have been nice to have been informed how much the work was going to cost. I ending up paying more to fix a old strider bike than it would have cost to buy a brand new one. Not the best experience.

Super knowledgeable and impeccable service. Great follow up during the build process and explained everthing about the bikes and the car rack we bought! 3 months later, my front break was rubbing ever so slightly. "Bring it right in and we'll have a look" Tito said on the phone. Turned out to be a simple adjustment on the breaks, but then my bike got the spa treatment. He cleaned and lubed the drive Train and tweaked a few extra adjustments. He spent at least 30 minutes on the bike and no charge!! I initially just needed the seat raised and the handlebars adjusted, but it turned out the chain was incredibly loose, the tubes were probably at least 10 years old, and there were a handful of other things that needed attention. I worked with Joe, who was absolutely fantastic. He was genuinely excited about the bike and eager to help. He even brought me outside, watched how I was riding, and made adjustments on the spot. After that, we brought the bike inside so they could take a closer look and handle the bigger fixes. They really took their time to make sure everything was dialed in perfectly. Joe also noticed I had a women's seat on the bike, which is fine, but as a man it wasn't the best fit. I appreciated that they paid attention to details like that. They were also very mindful of my budget and made sure we didn't overspend while still getting everything safe and road ready. Ben handled the tube replacement and did a great job. It truly felt like a team effort to make sure my bike was not only running well but completely safe. They even threw in a free water bottle holder and installed it because it was hot out! I ended up grabbing the sickest Grateful Dead inspired water bottle and filled up while I was there, the ride home was so much less intense because of that. My family and I have been going to Around the Cycle for years and have bought multiple bikes from them. Every experience has been excellent. It's clear this is a tight knit group that genuinely cares about their customers. This isn't some corporate chain. It's exactly what you'd hope every neighborhood shop would be like. Anytime anyone I know needs anything bike related, I send them to Around the Cycle without hesitation. They're simply the best. Huge shout out to Joe and Ben for the amazing service and going above and beyond. They will have my business for life!
