OMG these guys are wizards at collision repair. The only autobody shop you will ever need. Scraped up the whole right side of my BMW X5 bumper really bad. Went to several shops and all said not fixable you need a new bumper. $3500 to &6000 estimated. I heard about Cypress in Hermosa Beach and the person said they can fix this. I went down there and met Beau who said yes we can repaint and you'll never know for $1400. Skeptical but they seemed like great guys so said ok. I cannot believe the unbelievable job they did. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! When my husband brought my silver Mercedes back from the shop I said "OMG, that's absolutely amazing!" The repair paint matched perfectly with the original factory paint. The body work was also perfect so that the transition between the original undamaged door and the repaired area was seamlessly imperceptible as to be invisible. (I asked my husband if they graduated from Hogwarts.) It was also finished days early at a fair price with interior and exterior cleaning. Max is full of BS. He sent just sent me the following after 4 months since we had contact. He wrote me this yesterday. I'm replying less than 24 hours later, just like I have with his business this whole time. "I am sorry it has taken so late, but I have been very thorough with this and I have looked into the problem, and have spoken with the parts manager at the dealership to find out the cause for the big delay on these parts. His reply to me was that Toyota & Honda are getting ready to move to Texas, Therefore this is what was causing some confusion. Adam has bugged me to death for these parts, especially the seat- which was a special order. I have come to the conclusion that for the size of the job, and the time it took to repair it, it is not my responsibility when the dealer is at fault; unless you want me to buy junkyard parts. P.S. In regards to the rental- your insurance company should extend it because of the circumstances, as another example one other customer had a range rover whos both doors needed to be shipped in from England and that insurance company extended their rental , if one does it to their customers so should yours have been able to extend the same courtesy. " 1. What does Toyota & Honda have anything to do with the parts! My car is Audi. 2. It was your manager Adam(who politely spoke to me over the phone screaming like a lunatic and dropping multiple F bombs, I have it in recording). Who failed to assess, not once, for 4 times in a row; the work to be done. The misappropriations is what caused the delay in the overall repair time. 3. At this point, you have lost credibility, judging from all my accounts and documentation. You yourself agreed about the incompetence of your Manager Adam from our phone conversation (which I also have the recording.) You stated you went to England and when you came back your business was ruined because of Adam, whom you fired. The nail on the coffin is the timeliness; or lack thereoff of your responses and follow up(why am I not surprised?) 4. My insurance followed their rules in regards to providing me rental. My truck was sideswiped while parked with No note on the windshield claiming responsibility! Stopped by Cypress without an appointment and was immediately greeted by Chase who came out took some pictures and emailed me a quote that afternoon. It was reasonable so I gave him a call. Said I could bring it in that afternoon Wednesday and would have it done no later than Monday. Called me on Friday and said it was done. Looks just like new and washed the truck. Terrible experience...would never recommend to anyone...I to my car in to get an estimate a month or so back. Barely looking at my car, Adam quotes me $550. I asked if I can get that in writing and he mentions he can pretty much do anything for that price. I thought the price was too good to be true (major front end damage). Sure enough, I turn my car in, Adam calls me the next day and says it's a lot worse than he thought and that he can do it for $1650. I told him I got an estimate to repair the same damage for $850 and told him to put the bumper back on my car, which him and his crew barely did. The bumper is in a lot worse shape than when I left it. Be careful and make sure you aren't easily excited, only to be let down. Max: I appreciate the response and since I can't directly respond to your comment, I'm updating my original post. If you guys really "take photos" of before/after work, I beg you to check out the shady job your guys did in putting my bumper back on. I was so embarrassed by the way it looked, I took it to another body shop a day later...I understand how estimates work, and understand what an estimate is...however, I am not ok with someone who literally looks at my car for 10 secs and gives me a quote, only to then quote me $1k + more. I'm not looking for anything and would never return to your shop, but maybe this review will keep Adam honest in the way he does business going forward...he also had the nerve to call me the next day to come pick up my car (as if I was going to leave it there)! Cannot say enough good things about Cypress. If you have any autobody issues, this is the place to go. In my case, Chase / Beau and their team installed roof rails on my new SUV since they did not come standard. While "easy" on the surface, it truly was NOT. More specifically, "don't believe everything you see on the internet", and this was very much the situation in my case. After discussing with Chase / Beau, they took the time and effort to sort the correct parts direct from the OEM, followed up on multiple occasions given relatively low service levels and quality for aftermarket parts from the OEM, and subsequently installed them to perfection via their top notch team. I would also note that post work, the Cypress team provides you with a car washed and cleaned in better shape vs. even an expensive car wash. I thought the estimate I got was too good to be true and was waiting for a last minute price hike, especially since it is a BMW and previous places tell me my car is more expensive to fit. Not here. David and Josh did phenomenal work on my severely damaged door. The work is perfect, the price was fair, and the people at the shop go above and beyond. I was going to be out of town on a work trip while they finished, so they made sure to move my car for me and took pictures of the repairs for my peace of mind. I have never come across any business, especially a car repair place, with a 5 star rating, but that's the thing... These guys are that good and good people. We have all been to places where we felt the business was being pushy and made us uncomfortable, but from the second I introduced myself I knew this team had my business. I won't speak poorly of other businesses in the area, but I will say that I greatly appreciated the way I was treated by the Cypress team. They were respectful and professional. I am the reason my car was damaged, and for some reason damaging my car really upsets/angers me, but they have turned a negative into a positive. Of course, I never want to have to use their services ever again, because nobody wants to damage their car, but I know that if I do, I can trust that they will make me whole and I will hopefully not get so mad at myself. I really encourage anyone suffering from car damage, that probably thinks you're going to get overcharged or pressured by another body shop, to visit Cypress. They will make your car look like new, treat you with respect, and just be honest and quality people. I actually had to download the Yelp app, because I rarely post reviews, but I did for this business, because I actually feel like it will help other people in the area and I feel like I owe the feedback to Cypress. I want businesses like this to thrive, because I prefer to work with people/businesses like this as opposed to ones that would constantly try to take advantage of customers. I wish I could could give them more than 5 stars. I had a little damage to my bumper and had gotten a $1300 estimate from Jim & Jacks. They wanted to replace the entire bumper. I explained that I was paying for it out of my own pocket...not insurance. They said that was the best they could do. I found Cypress on Yelp and went over there. I spoke to Max (I think the owner) and he said about $500. This was a few weeks ago. I went back yesterday and spoke to Chase (the manager). He called Honda...they had the parts and then asked his repair guy how long it would take. They got me in yesterday and I got it back the same day! It cost me $531. A fraction of what my original estimate was. This place reminded me of my dad's body shop when I was growing up. An upstanding, small, locally owned business. Love them and can't recommend them enough. I would have never known they were there if it weren't for Yelp. read more

Go here, talk to David, let him know what you need and he'll give you a fair price. There was some damage to my left rear bumper and historically, anytime the actual part is damaged, it's had to be replaced. He gave me an estimate that was $200 under the average estimate when I called over the phone so I decided to bring the car in and actually let him look at it and decided that point. It was almost like insulting their talent to tell them I thought the bumper needed to be replaced. He took one look at it, waved his hand, and charge me even less! Not to replace the bumper, but to repair the damage. It was literally repaired, painted, and Polished in less than a day. I couldn't believe it! See pictures, $250 for the bumper damage. It looks like a large amount of scuffs, it's actually dented with a chunk of the plastic damaged. My paint is also a difficult paint to manage for a lot of people, it's a graphite metallic made by BMW and I've had it done wrong twice. When I came to drop off my car, I also asked about my front headlight, I've seen some pictures of the touch-ups they've done and the person who actually did the work said it would be no problem. My left headlight had been replaced before so looks sparkling new but the right one show the age of the vehicle and was a little bit yellow too. With anything I could find to restore a headlight, I couldn't fix it. They had it looking brand new in about 10 minutes! And didn't charge me. This place is ridiculous. See the pictures, I was super skeptical at first just because anytime something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. This place is! It's a Hidden Gem, Mom and Pop shop, and David is the best! Bottom Line: I had a great experience and would very much recommend this place for auto body repair. See below for details. I bought a Honda from an old lady who must of had really poor eyesight, cause the poor bumpers on this car had some serious road rash (see photos). The rest of the car was in great shape, so figured I'd just get the bumpers repaired/repainted. Now I know the South Bay, along with all of LA, is expensive, but I was in some serious sticker shock after getting 5 quotes from other shops. I went to each shop and told them I needed the road rash addressed, and all 5 quotes came back within a few dollars of each other. They all wanted a lot of $,$$$. In shock and a bit panicked by how much getting these bumpers fixed was gonna cost me, I hit up Yelp and stumbled upon Cypress by chance. I figured they would be unreasonably pricey considering they are in Hermosa, but I was wrong. I called during a time when the shop was closed, but Josh picked up and said to swing by with the car for a quote. I stop by, Josh comes out and looks at both bumpers, and gives me the estimate. I was in shock (in a good way) by the price he provided, and I think I asked him 3 times to confirm that we were talking the same work. The price was great, I'll leave it at that. I dropped the car off on Thursday morning and literally had it back the following afternoon. No BS, it was that fast. The pictures speak to the work. The job came out great. Josh was very easy to work with. Automated text messages providing status of work was a nice touch.
