    Crudo + kalamata

Wine and food were delicious and the bar was cute, but the three 21 year olds behind the counter on Saturday evening couldn't care less about service or providing an accurate answer about the menu. My friend and I were craving olives and asked if the "Crudo & Kalamata" was just a bowl of olives, the blonde girl behind the bar said yes, yet a bowl of raw fish, onions, and olives arrived at our table. Fortunately it was delicious, but not what we were expecting at all based on our question to the server. Typical Marina attitude at this bar and lack of service was frustrating, but not surprising.

pretty small wine bar inside but they have outdoor seating. it's pretty dark and vibey inside. I only tried the food: - house hummus: there were too many huge chunks of vegetables so it was hard to dip the pita in the hummus - house potatoes: the aioli was nice, potatoes were really hot when they came out

Céleste is thee place to be! I've been to key klub a few times so I thought I knew what to expect, but Céleste is a completely different vibe! It's definitely more intimate and French-y with the best shawarma I've ever had in my life. Finding a place to sit and eat was a bit challenging since it's a bit on the smaller side, but it was so worth it in the end!! The service is great! We were quick to be greeted and given a menu even though the room was busy and packed. The servers were attentive and were quick to find us when our food was ready. I do recommend going a bit earlier before the night starts so you can grab a seat and have some bites!

Rolled into Celeste's late morning, already emotionally invested in a short rib breakfast burrito only to find out they were sold out. Cue dramatic sigh. But hey, that's on me for showing up fashionably late. So, I pivoted to the chorizo breakfast burrito and WOW what a happy accident. This thing was massive (definitely shareable) The eggs were fluffy, the chorizo was bold and flavorful, the tots added the perfect crunch, and the avocado brought that creamy balance. Also, huge shoutout to the melted cheese on the tortilla--a detail that should never go unappreciated. They give you salsa on the side, which I always consider a non-negotiable. It was decent, not mind-blowing, but it did the job. The real MVP though? The sweet, bubbly gal at the counter--such warm, welcoming energy. Made the whole experience feel like I was grabbing breakfast at a friend's place (if that friend made bomb burritos). Next time I'm showing up earlier for that short rib burrito--but I wouldn't be mad about ending up with the chorizo again.

Having been to celeste a couple times, it's definitely up there in terms of wine bars in the city! I came at 7 on a tuesday and the place was packed which was unexpected. There isn't a ton of seating so keep that in mind. They have a great list of wines -- I ordered an orange and my friend a white wine, both of which we got to taste before. Don't miss out on the food here! We ordered the spicy feta dip and the chicken skewers -- both were so delicious and flavorful :)

My friends and I went to Céleste on a Friday night around 8 PM, and it was packed. While we appreciated the quick service at the bar, the indoor space was quite crowded, leaving little room to stand without being shoulder to shoulder. To have more space, we opted to sit outside in the parklet. The setup was pleasant, but it was chilly--so definitely bring a jacket if you're planning to sit outdoors. They had a good wine selection, and the pours were a decent size. Overall, it's a good spot for drinks with a busy atmosphere.

went on a friday night with a girl friend ! wine is delish (~$16/glass), bar gets crowded and loud (fun for groups if you fit inside!!) hard to get seating but you can stand. There is also outdoor seating if that's more your vibe. would be a cute week night date spot or small group outing.

Celeste is my go to neighborhood wine bar! I usually stick to their Lambrusco but they recently changed the brand and I'm not the biggest fan. So, I have shifted to their chilled Celeste red wine which is fantastic replacement. In my most recent visit, I went with a couple girl friends and we shared the hummus plate and skewers for a light meal. You order everything at the bar which is very easy on a laid back Wednesday night. Definitely becomes a little more difficult on popular nights when the place is packed. Doesn't stop me from going either way.

the beef skewers were delish and pita side for each dish was addicting! cute little spot on union and the vibes are fun! glad to have gone on a Thursday where not too crowded and the small bites were enough to share a few :) the potatoes too had the PERFECT crisp

The super tinted windows and vintage but chic furniture gave the vibes of speakeasy mixed with record store. The prices were also pretty reasonable, at par with other bars in the SF area. Tips are already baked into the menu prices which I love, so it's not as pricey as it seems. All of the drinks we ordered were beautiful and delicious. I love whiskey sours and espresso martinis so my favorite drinks were the Arlequin and the Gospel. The Arlequin had a perfectly smooth picturesque egg white foam tinted pink with huckleberries. It was a great balance of tart and sweet, and the berry notes complemented the light oak flavors of the scotch. The Gospel was like a classic espresso martini but with more complexities. The orange and ginger added floral notes and the drink was super smooth. The food was also amazing. We didn't order much since we were planning to eat dinner elsewhere, but I wish we ordered more. The stroop waffles were insanely good. It's a savory stroop waffle filled with tuna tartare that was deeply savory with sesame and chive flavor. The smoked crème fraiche emphasized the savoriness and added a richness. The yuzu glaze tied everything together with a light sweet and tart flavor.

The environment and mood was incredible, and probably worth the trek over alone. I loved that the place wasn't super crowded or super loud, and the vintage record listening bar decor was a pleasant backdrop to everything to come. The drinks themselves were tasty and a nice twist as well. The espresso martinis, in the pictures below, were great and arrived in wine glasses. Sure, why not? Maybe it was just a charmed night. We found street parking, the bar was pleasant, the drinks were good. What more can you ask?

Dear Val and The Patio Restaurant Team,…read more We wanted to extend our sincere thanks to you and the entire Patio Restaurant staff for making our wedding brunch celebration such a memorable experience. From the very beginning, Val was incredibly kind, responsive, and organized. She answered every question we had and guided us through the planning process with patience and professionalism. Her recommendations on the food portions were spot on, ensuring that everyone had plenty to enjoy without overordering. Our family and friends had a wonderful time, and everyone complimented the food, drinks, and beautiful venue. The patio space created such a warm, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere that was perfect for celebrating with our loved ones. The brunch menu was outstanding. Every dish was delicious, from the mac & cheese, fried chicken sandwiches, and meatballs to the calamari mixto, French toast, fruit and berries, charcuterie selection, sommelier's cheese selection, little gem salad, avocado toast, and scrambled eggs with potatoes. There was something for everyone, and every plate was enjoyed. We also want to recognize the bartender for crafting amazing drinks throughout the event and the servers for being so friendly, attentive, and professional. They made sure our guests were well taken care of and contributed to the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up perfectly, allowing us to simply enjoy the celebration with our family and friends. We will always cherish the memories we made that day, and Patio Restaurant will forever be a special place for us. Thank you, Val, and thank you to everyone on your team for providing such exceptional service and hospitality. We truly appreciate everything you did and look forward to visiting again in the future. Then when the food came, it didn't come coursed out at all. The mains came before the shared appetizers. The oysters came out midway through our meal. It was all just kind of a mess.
