Came here on a warm friday night and the vibes were so good! They have outdoor seating and a patio and it was so lively inside and outside. It was not even 7pm and the vibes inside were giving club. I didn't get any wine but the food was surprisingly so yummy -- we got the labneh with cara cara which came with seasoned pita bread, as well as the potatoes. I loved the combo of the yogurt with sweet oranges, and the bread was amazing! Super fluffy and soft. I want to recreate this at home asap. The potatoes were super crispy (a little on the salty side) and the sauce that came on the side was so delicious. I've been here for the wine bar and always had a nice time. Came for the breakfast burritos on a Sunday morning and had a lousy experience. Pretentious ambiance although I'm not sure what I expected. 9:30 AM and they were blasting trap music from a speaker shoved in a tree -- which, when one of the workers reached up to adjust the speaker settings, he pushed the speaker so hard that it fell through to the other side of the tree and almost concussed a patron standing there. The worker did not apologize or seem the slightest bit embarrassed. Besides this the workers had a snooty vibe -- making faces at a patron they bumped into, and leisurely sipping a mimosa and hitting their vape between preparing orders. This is probably why it took 30 minutes for them to hand us our bag of two (presumably) prepared-ahead breakfast burritos, even though there was not a long line. They were pretty good, nothing crazy, and the hot sauce was great, but I ordered a sausage burrito and they gave me bacon, which was especially frustrating after the long wait and obnoxious vibe. I have never been to a bar that stopped serving at 11:20PM for closing at 12. Pretty disappointing we were essentially refused service 40 minutes before closing. Showed up around 11:15, people were dancing on the table tops and on the counter, seemed to be having a great time. People should know this place isn't consistent with their listed hours or with their service. It's definitely more intimate and French-y with the best shawarma I've ever had in my life. Also, huge shoutout to the melted cheese on the tortilla--a detail that should never go unappreciated. They give you salsa on the side, which I always consider a non-negotiable.
