    Garlic shrimp spaghetti
    Kelsey K.

I love me some pasta and Damico has some good ones! It was pretty dead inside on a Sunday evening and we were ordering to-go. Parking is a pain at this location. Even though you're not suppose to, we just parked in the lunds & byerlys and walked across the street. My go-to is the garlic shrimp spaghetti. It's got wonderful garlicky buttery flavors and the Parmesan adds the perfect texture. I was a little disappointed in my serving sized compared to my partners pasta dish though. I just want alllll the pasta. Plus this is very expensive pasta so please give me more. My partners chicken penne was also amazing! My wish is that they lower their prices. Their prices are that of a very nice sit-down restaurant but I get more of a take-out vibe here.

I had a gift card to D'Amico burning a hole in my pocket, and decided to pick up from their Edina location this week. I had catered in D'Amico a few times in the past at the U of M, but hadn't actually been into one myself. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a bummer experience. INTERIOR: Is a plus! It's clean and fancy looking with nice tile and decor. There was hardly anyone in during the lunch hour - maybe most take out or cater? They do have a nice patio area as well. MENU: Is limited - a few salads, a few soups, and a handful of things in the case. A small soup and tiny antipasti plus ice cream was over $20. SERVICE: Was brutal on my stop in. I asked about the salads for the soup and salad combo, and the cashier pointed me to the signature salads menu. I pick one, and she walks around trying to figure out how to make it while I stand at the counter. Another team member says I can only pick from the antipasti or pasta salads in the case, and I can't mix and match. The cashier slowly gets the soup, a tiny to-go of the antipasti, and ice cream in between fiddling with the register - this whole process took no less than 15 minutes, with no sense of timeliness or hospitality. Usually in a patient person, but this was pretty painful. There are so many nice options in the area - unfortunately, I won't be back here.

    Chicken gorgonzola salad pasta

Been going here 15 years, one of my favorite places in all of Edina. I always either get the chicken gorgonzola or chicken with dried cherries pasta salad with a side caesar. The BEST pasta salads, ever (I am a fanatic) and also the BEST caesar salads. I love the interior design and the service has always been good even when someone I'm with orders a pasta to be made.

"Italian style" steak. Skip it. Stick to pizza or pasta.

We enjoy the amica club special of a pasta or pizza with side salad and bottomless wine. Otherwise expensive. The dinner entrees are not as good as they used to be. Went for valentine's day last two years. 2017 was wonderful. 2018 valentine's day was horrible. Way too busy. So many people there with kids! Why? It's valentine's day selfish family people! So nowhere to sit! Standing with our salads and wine waiting for somewhere to sit. Finally someone leaves but no one clearing tables. I looked around, no place to put the dirty dishes and glasses. No towel to clean off the table. Finally someone came by. We ordered the Italian style steak. Was ok, but what was Italian style? Just a basic steak. Also had the chicken prosciutto meal. Over cooked and dry when last year it was amazing and also had an egg on the asparagus. They need much better bread. An Italian place should have a wonderful Italian bread not that bland bread. Their pizza and pasta and sandwiches are very good. Skip the entrees. Not worth it.

    Pokestop near my pasta.

I really wasn't prepared to spend $15 on a single sandwich though. Listen, everything about this place was fine. Including the sandwich itself (I got the Adult Club cuz I love me some chicken salad, but I should've asked to have the bread toasted... it really wasn't all that sourdoughy in taste either??). I just can't quite get over the amount it cost. Which I guess might be why there aren't any prices listed on the menu signs. Like, my hubbie and I DIDN'T get drinks or chips or a side or dessert. None of that. Just a sandwich for the each of us and it was $30. If we had added stuff, I bet we'd've run the bill up to $50 in no time. For lunch! Gotta be trippin'! I like supporting small local business when I can but I think this place isn't in my budget. Sorry. :( But the employees were nice, the ambiance was cool, the tables were clean, large selection of drinks, very tempting looking desserts, even ice cream, and a community board. If money isn't a concern that factors into your decisions, absolutely patronize this joint. I'll just be jealous.

Being 5 minutes from our destination we decided to give it a try And boy are we glad we did! The sammiches weee absolutely outstanding. They come with a smorgasbord of toppings, so you need to peruse the list to determine if there is anything you DON'T want. We had three turkey sammiches and one ham, and everyone chose to modify their toppings slightly (note/ if you desire tomatoes, those need to be added as they oddly aren't on included in the smorgasbord ‍) I opted for everything - perhaps a bit anxious about how well all the flavours would mesh (mayo, mustard, horseradish, oil and vinegar along with various toppings). But you know something / it worked really really well. We also chose the potato salad as a side and it was also quite tasty. Lighter, northerly mayo's. While the sammiches weee being constructed we perused the offering in the attached grocery. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and unfortunately, it missed the mark. For a café that seems to put so much effort into its unique menu the sandwich felt processed and lacked the fresh, high-quality ingredients I expected. It was just an unsatisfying start to the meal. The waffle tasted like one of those store-bought belgian waffles However, I have to give credit where it's due: the espresso was excellent. It was nice and strong, clearly made from well-sourced beans. It's a great spot for a caffeine fix. The staff were kind and attentive, and the cafe itself is a great spot to work on a laptop, but based on the food quality of my visit, I can't give it a full recommendation yet. I'll likely be back for the coffee, but I'll stick to one of their more popular items next time.
