I totally recommend these guys. They're honest and forthcoming about the repairs or inspections your vehicle needs. Inspections are cheaper than most and they also do a lot of free checks on vehicles, like leeks, and other noises that may be driving you crazy. lol But don't go here if you want to get things half-assed cause they are a by the book kind of place. Was able to being the truck in sat there for 2 days. Extremely poor customer service from the owner Javier Molina himself. On Wednesday July 26, 2023 I called to schedule an appointment. Javier (after collecting info about my vehicle) had given me estimates for some repair work I requested to be done on my SUV. I had disclosed that Firestone had checked it out and given me estimates, but someone we both knew had recommended him. I took the vehicle to his shop the next day Thursday July 27, 2023 at approximately 11:30am. In the presence of 2 others who were with me, he said the estimates he had given me the prior day was not longer valid because he needs to do his own diagnostics shortly to determine if I really needed my brake pads, rotors, rack and pinion replaced as I had requested, saying he didn't trust Firestone's diagnosis, accusing them of overpricing, etc. I gave him the go ahead, diagnose to figure out the problems in order to begin work. At 3:55pm, I called Javier to check on the status of my SUV's diagnosis. Surprisingly, the nice demeanor of the man I met earlier in the day was very agitated, defiant, accusatory and dismissive. I had greeted him over the phone and asked if he had been able to complete the diagnostics. He angrily retorted, " Look, why you trying to put pressure on me, no where in the metroplex will you take your car and have it looked at on the same day. No one puts pressure on me around here or tells me when to do my job. I have a lot of cars waiting to be serviced, and I don't want you calling me every 30 minutes asking about your car. As a matter of fact, come get your car now, I am no longer gonna work on it. I am closing right now so come get it from here, I'm not gonna work on it." I was shocked at his tirade, and so was everyone around me (I had the call on speaker.) I was so dumbfounded, because all of what he said was very rude, and it was the first time I had called since leaving his shop in the morning. All I asked was the status of the diagnostics. This was a total opposite of the nice man I met earlier that morning. I did not argue, but quietly told him I will pick it up in a few moments. I got a ride to his shop, I did not say a word, just collected my key got in my vehicle and drove off. Friday morning I took the vehicle to Pep Boys at 8:07 am where I was given excellent service. They run a diagnostics on the vehicle and determined the rack and pinion were in good shape and didn't need a replacement (the technician actually asked me to take a look and explained things to me.) They did replace the brake pads, rotors, did an oil change, and all was completed by 11:00am. I will recommend Pep Boys over Javier any day, based on my personal experience. He had been recommended, but failed miserably for no good reason. The phone call was witnessed by the person who made the recommendation, and who gave me a ride to pick my car. The person was appalled at his behavior. He lost two customers that day. 1 star is kind, considering the unprofessional manner Javier handled himself. read more

If you need a small quick fix, sure this place is cheap and kinda gets the job done...maybe still look around though, small details matter. Time management isn't their strong suit so have some patience. Could be a better operator of a business. read more

After noticing a power steering leak in my Acura MDX. A man at D&D Automotive give my vehicle a cursory look and without explanation or conversation he reentered the shabby cluttered office. 10 to fifteen minutes later pleasant woman came out with a single sheet work order and stated it would be $360 to replace my power hose. I told her there were many more issues i wanted address with my vehicle. She returned with her husband Javier. I attempted to explain I would like to have the vehicle thoroughly checked out because I had many concerns and with the noises I was hearing. Adding I felt the power steering pump needed to be replaced as well. He became argumentative. I explained that since the vehicle had to be repaired I thought it would be a good idea if I had the timing belt service performed as well. The nice woman started preparing the estimate after I asked if genuine Acura parts could be used Javier returned to the office said something to her in Spanish she asked for more time to complete the estimate taking my name and number. I never heard from D&D again that evening I took my vehicle to LxToy Auto Care at 3777 N. Beach street Fort Worth. Dropped my keys in to night drop box requesting the vehicle be checked out. The next day I was offered a thorough explanation of the needed repairs totaling over $1800.00 the following day my vehicle was repaired Jose and his wife waited for me to arrive after business hours. They treated me with courtesy and respect learning I was a veteran they gave me an additional discount thanked me for my service and warranted the repairs or 2 years. I returned to D&D with my professional copy of my work order to show Javier I was a serious customer he was indifferent about me as a human being my service to this country and the way he treated me. The best customer service I've seen in a long time. My wife broke down 3 hours away on a Saturday. The nearest shop was D&D automotive. My wife called and Javier was out with his children. My wife explained her situation. Javier arrived with a tow truck. Took the truck to the shop. He said he would get her info and call her on Monday to let her know what was wrong. Once they arrived at the shop. He took a quick look at the truck and discovered the problem immediately. Javier told my wife he would go ahead and fix it on the spot.
