You can now pay by cash or credit card in all 3 of the bays, and you have a bit more control over how much you spend with cash as you can insert as much or as little money in once you meet the minimum. Today, for example, I was able to give my car a basic yet complete wash for only $3. But with only 3 bays, it can still get very cramped and backed up here. There's only so much space in front of the bay entrances to accommodate those of you waiting in line. It's also fully automated, so if you experience any problems, you have to call the toll-free number on the sign, as opposed to finding a nearby employee. But all things considered, it's once again enjoyable to wash my car here.

I walked in for a New York State vehicle inspection, a service they advertise, but from the moment I arrived, Scott was dismissive. He immediately assumed, "You're probably here for an inspection, that's the only time you come," which set a negative tone. Before I could even respond, his uncle chimed in, bringing up an irrelevant issue about tires I supposedly didn't pick up two or three years ago. What does that have to do with my inspection? Absolutely nothing. It felt like a deliberate attempt to shame me and avoid doing their job. I expected to be treated with respect as a customer, but instead, Scott and his uncle teamed up to make me feel unwelcome. They didn't offer to inspect my vehicle, nor did they provide an appointment, which they are legally required to do under New York State law (§ 79.8(c)--if they can't inspect your vehicle right away, they must offer an appointment within eight days). Instead, their hostile attitude left me with no choice but to walk out--it genuinely felt like they threw me out for no reason other than their own bad attitudes.

Saturday - car starts to spit and sputter Sunday - car completely loses power, misfirings, dying I called Valvoline, Assistant Manager comes to my location, purchases a styrofoam cooler, jacks up my car and drains at least 3 quarts of black oil out. Advises that most likely they did not drain the old oil out and just added the new oil on top of old. After this I take car to repair shop Diagnosis - spark plugs are saturated with oil, many codes are registering on meter, low pressure I continue to call Valvoline and create a case, District Manager comes out to repair shop and is very unhelpful and insists that it is no fault of a valvoline. He had no knowledge of what was happening or could happen to the car. The manager and assistant manager pretty much admit that it occurs and they probably did not drain out the old oil. The District Manager says it could have many scenarios. In the long run Valvoline did not drain out my old oil and added new oil to the old. My car had about 10 quarts of oil in it and started to cease my engine. I would not go to this business. They do very low quality unprofessional work. Save yourself the expense and abuse.
