My daughter and I went here for Mother's Day pedicures. It was actually the following Sunday after. I used to be a twice monthly client for gel nails and fills for 3 years. Because of the pandemic, they closed. I stopped getting my nails done altogether. My income never recovered. Did go in one time after they reopened and got a pedicure. They talked me into a full set. I realized that I couldn't continue after that. So when I went I with my daughter, they all remembered me. Too bad they did. I got the WORST "gel" pedicure I've ever gotten from them. The colors has peeled off of a couple nails. And at closer scrutiny at home, the color was all over my toes. I then realized, I don't remember him doing ANY nail prep other than clipping and a short filing. No cuticle or under nail cleansing. I could go on about how bad the service was, but I think you get the point. Don't go here. Unless you enjoy being treated badly. The employees here have the attitude that they are better than their clientele. And have nothing but disdain for us, the consumer. It's obvious with how they carry on conversations in a language that only they understand. It's to hide their abuse and dislike for the people who keep their doors open. read more

Several terrible experiences there. I've gone for the convenience of the location, but not anymore. I always book an appointment, even with that they are always 20-40 behind schedule. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. When I went in there for a pedicure there were easily 10 walk ins with no appointments! This is a happening place! Make an appointment! I had a man do my pedicure. Great leg massage! Clean instruments and they lined the pedi bowl with plastic. Great nail polishes to pick from. Tons of colors and gel polishes too! I always make an appointment prior to showing up and they fail to sit me down in a timely manner. I am super disappointed in their services. Trish (yes I name dropped), mainly offended by your behavior. Very unprofessional. I get treated poorly and never handled properly. You think working with people all day they would have a better attitude and a better approach on customer relations. I never leave bad reviews on companies but I felt this was necessary. Worst pedicure ever! Messy job, the water was cold and she didn't even leave my toes clean after cleaning the excess polish off. I had to keep pointing out the cuticle and skin that needed to be cut off and cleaned then she pulled my foot hard and told me to relax. The woman dug into and buy excess nail on the right side of my big toe even after I had told her to not cut my nails because I'm diabetic. Horrible service went in to get my acrylic nails removed and the owner assisted me and began removing them with nail clippers and a nail tip. She was ripping my acrylics off with a nail clipper and was ripping my real nail off as well. I immediately flinched and asked why she isn't soaking my nails to remove them (which is the correct and safe way) she got mad and told me I'm too sensitive and that soaking takes too long and she has other clients. She was very rude and careless. These type of nail salons are the ones you should definitely avoid my nails resulted super fat and thick and ugly. Please avoid this place and it is not sanitary what so ever!! read more

I was a walk in and fortunately they had an available tech. I asked for a gel manicure and was promptly seated. I had nearly black nail polish on before so it was a bit to clean up. The tech hurt a bit when he pushed back my cuticles, sometimes paying more attention to what was going on up in front then what he was doing with the metal tool against my nails. I was not offered to view the color selection while he filed or buffed my nails. It wasn't until I rinsed my hands, did he offer me the bin. Good for me, I already knew what I wanted. I stated that I wanted a gold line across the base of the tips. He didn't understand and said he'd do it with polish. What he meant was that he would dab the gold sparkle gel polish, clean it up some and set it with the UV lamp. It was a brilliant idea. The result is less than stellar. The coverage on my nail was compromised in gaining my gold tips. If you are a walk in, know what you want, and may it be simple and straightforward because you might end up with lumpy nails. read more

First time here...kind of disappointed ..I've heard great stuff about this place but, pedicure was $18 and very short. Flower started with me last, and she was the first one to finish...won't be back. Seats are nothing special. customer service lacks. Two stars cause she painted my nails nice, but other than that...sucks Oh as soon as she finished she started cleaning the glass bowl on the chair & I was still sitting on it, she also left super fast to do someone's manicure. I have been going to Tami (I think it's her name) for my eyebrow waxing since my junior yr in high school so 4 years ago, and even when she moved from next to mi pueblo to next to Kmart, I didn't mind driving just to see her. She always gives me a great shape and always takes her time and after I get lots of compliments on them. Try calling before showing up bc it tends to get busy in there especially on weekends and prom season, but even then I don't mind waiting on her because she really is the best. As for the review that said they broke out from the wax, this happens to me all the time there but i have tried other places and broke out as well, so maybe its the wax. Came in with my step daughter for simple French tip manicures. They attended us quickly and sat us down together. I got mine done first while my step daughter soaked her cuticles in warm water. The male who did my manicure cut my cuticles TWICE. I know my cuticles are sensitive but they wouldn't stop bleeding! And then he tells me "I'm sorry" and proceeded to add alcohol on my fingers! The only reason I didn't walk out was because my step daughter was watching and kept asking if i was okay. A woman did a great job with my step daughters French tip though, so that's why the two stars. Needless to say, I'm not coming back. read more

$10 for a great manicure can't beat that. They were able to accommodate 3 walk-ins on a Sunday morning at 10am with no wait. My nail teck was David, he massaged my arms and cleaned up my nails and cuticles with great detail and he spoke english well which was helpful for explaining what I wanted. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because I felt they didn't have a large variety of colors that I liked and because they were burning incense and the scent/smoke smell was really strong, but I'll still go back. read more

Horrible place to go. So far I'm on my second hand surgery at California skin institute due to the fact that they cut me while doing my nails and got infected due to Unsanitized utensils. The best place to get your nails done when you're on a budget! They're professional, clean and friendly! I loved Annie! She's great at foot massages and my nails look like i paid top dollar for them when I paid less than any other place. One of the things I loved is that they were not pushy at all with my daughter and I. They respected what we asked for and didn't force anything more on us. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Wow I can not believe how Rude this lady was to me and my daughters.. she was upset that I had my children with me from the beginning.. I didn't complain how dirty the seat, she had me sit in.. she was huffing a puffing she even told me to sit my breastfeeding 1 1/2 year old daughter on one of their mini work chairs because she didn't agree with my child with me from the beginning.. she moved my 6yr old to another one of their mini work chairs even though my daughter was waiting for her nails to get done by D&Ls staff.. just so they could make room for, (in their minds) important looking client that walked in after my family.. the lady had me move my children again because she didn't feel comfortable where my kids were butt no1 but that lady was offended by where my kids were.. karma hit because the chair they took from my 6 yr old daughter had A screw fall from it, after the more important client was seated.. they had to flip it over and fix it, they even had to grab another chair, because that chair was missing two screws lmao.. my 13 yr old daughter was already in the process of getting her nails done, so she is there finishing her set of nails.. all in all they lost two clients that day and forever customers/my family.. I know I bring a lot of kids only one wasn't getting her nails done.. I always tip very well.. u never know who's on the other side of the chair.. but I get my nails done twice a month faithfully and I have to work a night shift tonight I needed are nails done in town and we decided to try this place D&L nails.. thank u for a uncomfortable and unwelcoming time.. read more

And he was fast. I came back and he was available and I'm so happy! I'm pre- booking with him from now on. I went back hoping for the best. My pedicure was nice. ANNie did a nice job. I wished she would have spent a bit more time with the massage and sluffing. I noticed that the woman that was waiting next to me didn't get a set of cleaned fresh tools. I believe she had my used tools. I was not happy with this. I don't have fungus but she had it bad and if they used those tools on the next person without disinfecting them that would be terrible. I feel bad that I didn't say something. Shame on them. I also watched a manicurist shake her towel for her next customer rather than getting a clean one. The manicurist and pedicurists also do Not use new files for every customer. Nasty. Not too busy, but when I asked for a simple, regular manicure of my natural nails( mostly to get the cuticles off), the owner?? Spent 5 minutes turned away from me talking to one of the other employees ( not sure what was said, in their language), and told me it would be about 15 minutes". Rude, poor customer service, and unappealing dirty supplies over crammed into the front corner right by the front desk . I drove down the road to JC nails in the same lot as Safeway, got right in , and out in 10 minutes. Pleasant, attention to waiting time( took care of 4 other customers walking in or sitting in chairs waiting), and are customer-oriented. Of all the nail salons in Watsonville this one is my favorite. I like getting pedicure fairly regularly, but after visiting here I don't have to go back for another month because my polish looks so good! I don't know what they do, but I have stubbed my toes, gone to the beach, and my toes still look freshly painted. I love that they have a huge selection of OPI nail polish. They also do cute designs and even if you want something they aren't used to doing, they'll attempt it for you. One time I asked for polka-dots on my toenails and they tried even though they weren't sure, and it came out great. The salon itself is very sanitary and they scour the pedicure stations after each use. The salon has a very comfortable atmosphere but also feels very clean. The floors and mirrors are always sparkling and the sinks always clean. The women that work there are very nice and quite attentive. The prices are great for the quality you get. If you want a long lasting pedi you better try this place! read more

The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because she cut me right on the cuticle of my big toe! It kinda hurt, but she took care of it and apologized. Came here with my friends and paid $25 (plus $5 tip) to get a basic gel manicure. The lady was kind of impatient with me picking out the color and she would complain to me about how I should have my nails square shaped because it's "pretty" but no I'm more into the almond shape. She made it obvious that she was annoyed with me whenever I would tell her that I'd like them rounder. My nails looked nice for 2 days.. they chipped on day 3 on more than one of my fingers. I don't ever get my nails done so $25 is really expensive for me to have something as basic as gel. I know that's the around the average price for them which is fine but the quality was absolutely terrible for the price. One week later and 3 of my nails have completely peeled off. read more

This was my first and last visit to this salon. I didn't have to wait very long before being seated at a station for a manicure. But after I sat down it took another few minutes before someone came to work on my nails. I had gels that needed to be removed so the woman wrapped my nails and then went to go work on a woman at a pedi station. About 15 minutes later the technician came back to unwrap my nails. Instead of using a tool of some sort to remove the last bits of polish she used her own nails to scrape it off. This was very uncomfortable for me and I told her it kind of hurt. She was a little more gentle with the remaining fingers but I was really put off that she used her own nails to remove the polish. She buffed the nails and then said I should sit and wait for 10 minutes. I realized she then went back to the other customer at the pedi station who was getting gels on her toes. Knowing this was going to be much longer of a visit than I intended, and already pretty upset I had been there for over an hour and only had polish removed, I got up, told her I was waiting too long and had to go and walked out. This was by far the worst experience I've had at a nail salon in the area. I won't ever be going back there again. read more

Never coming back here. The lady doing my nails was so rude and also did a horrible job. She kept on pressuring to get my eyebrows done when I had asked for a pedicure and manicure. While doing my pedicure she completely cut two of my two nails and asked me shush when I was in pain. fter the pedicure was over everything she did was messed up. She took my credit card before she was even done. And just left in a hurry and said she'd prefer a cash tip. The owner of the place apologized to me and had a different lady re do my nails. The other lady's was really sweet and nice. The towels they used were really smelly. This was just honestly the worst place I've been to. I was so excited to try a new nail salon because most of them in Watsonville suck. I had high hopes given other reviews and word of mouth. So I went here to get a pedicure with my friend. The salon appeared to be clean. Two different ladies did my toes. The first lady basically prepped me and the second one came to paint them. I was distracted talking to my friend and then I look down. My big toes were bleeding and she continued to paint my toes even though they were bleeding. She dipped into the nail polish several times and I'm pretty sure there was blood on the brush transferring. I got stuck with an infection on my two big toes and scars. Don't recommend, not coming back, and definitely don't think it is sanitary after my experience. read more
