Mitch is fantastic. No, wait, Mitch is ALL CAPS FANTASTIC…read more He is personable, kind, honest, and sincere. He is also funny and cool; as one of the other reviewers said, you'd like to have a beer with him. You can work with Mitch in two ways. One: he might happen to have the perfect car for you sitting in his lot already. If so, lucky you! He only sells cars that are in great shape, often managing to find what I call "car unicorns" (one-owner cars with great maintenance records from states without road salt or flooding). Two: if Mitch doesn't happen to have the right car for you, you can use him as a sort of "car sommelier." He'll help you figure out what kinds of cars you might like (which was super helpful for me), steer you away from bad years or bad models, and then, when you know what you want, he'll source you a great car. When the car arrives in PDX, he'll take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure it's in tip top shape. We were definitely going to use Mitch to source a car for us, but, alas, we unexpectedly found our own extremely rare "unicorn" at a different dealer. But I will absolutely use Mitch's services when it's time to replace our next car. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Shocking! Thanks, Mitch. You rock.

Bonus for having kids toys around to make it easier to keep the kids busy. Would recommend Stolz Motors every time, the ideal car dealer that operates on integrity, honesty and quality.

Let me start off by saying that although we didn't end up getting our car through Central Sales, we…read morehad such a wonderful experience with them that I needed to write a review. My husband first spoke with Ray, who he felt he had an immediate connection with and easy, flowing communication about our vehicular needs. But Ray was going on vacay, and we couldn't wait until he got back to complete our car buying experience with him. Enter, Roy - Ray's bro. Roy was AWESOME. He took the time to REALLY answer my questions in a way that I could understand, and didn't try to push cars on me that were out of my price range. He was an excellent listener and ended up bringing out a car that day to our house for my hubby and me to test drive. Let me pause for a moment to say just how smart this business model is - I mean, with 2 kids under 4 years old, it's a PITA to get to a dealership and take turns test driving a car and then waiting around for hours to purchase the car while the kids go cray cray. Central Sales is part of Ron Tonkin (I think...), so they have a huge inventory of cars to pull from, which they bring to you to test drive, and then they arrange all the financing for you to find the lowest APR, and then bring the paperwork to you when they deliver the car. It takes about 10 minutes to sign everything. All for no extra fee. Brilliant. Other dealerships should take note. But what made everything so super was the truly no-pressure attitude of Roy (and I imagine everyone else he works with). He was super nice and completely understanding when I told him that we were also test-driving a car from another dealership later that day. He reiterated that he just wanted to make sure that we got into the right car for us. And I believed him! We ended up doing the whole take-the-kids-to-the-dealership-and-wait-an-excrutiatingly-long-time-to-purchase-a-vehicle thing. But only because the vehicle that was there was the one we wanted in the end. But we will DEFINITELY use Central Sales again when it's time to buy a car. Thanks Roy!

My daughter needed a car and I found one online at this place…read more We drove an hour and a half to check the car out. The salesman we had was super friendly. He found the car we were interested in and we took it for a test drive. It seemed to be perfect and decided to get it. Unfortunately, it took 3+ hours just to get through the paperwork. We negotiated the price, shook hands and signed on the X. Once he came back with the paperwork, he also came back with a mechanical disclosure. He proceeded to tell us all the problems with the car. The sway bars and bushings needed to be replaced. The water pump may have issues since thier mechanics noticed water spots around the water pump. What? We are spending over 16k for a car and NOW they disclose the problems? The salesman told us they just started doing things differently now. Well..that doesn't seem fair. We agreed on a price. I signed papers. We couldn't back out now. Rush hour was hitting and I wanted to get home ASAP. We ended up getting the car anyway and drove home. The car drove home fine. However, we have yet to fix the problems. Very disappointed with that process.

So when we moved to Oregon we really didn't know if we could have such an effortless and ideal experience. I found Oregon Roads online and read all the reviews. We decided to call them to get a feel of what their service would provide. Joy Rose was exactly what we were looking for. She was professional and understood what what we wanted. Leasing from her went smoothly. We traded in our older vehicle and we got the exact car we wanted in the color we preferred and at the price that matched our budget. Flawless and terrific customer service. We highly recommend this company.

Every experience has been so much better than any of the other places around town. While they don't have the service department or the huge lot of vehicles, the process with them is pressure-free and friendly. Also, you don't spend a whole day at the dealership if you buy from them, they know what they're doing and don't waste time going back and forth between buyer and manager or whatever it is the larger places do to drag things along. They also won't push you to buy something you don't need. Every time we've been there, they've waited awhile before approaching us, letting us look at vehicles without feeling like you're going to be accosted by a stereotypical salesperson as soon as you park on the lot. Also, if you're looking for something really specific, they do offer to do the searching for you and will get you the car you're looking for, if you can't find it here right away. I recommend Oregon Roads all the time!
