Sami, Lynette, John & Dave ROCK!!!! This will be our 3rd car purchase from Idrive Autohaus!!! I was beginning to get a bit uninspired in driving my '07 Avant A6 3.2. Don't get me wrong. The A6 Avant is a great utilitarian vehicle that doesn't compromise luxury appointments, however I needed something else...something different to rejuvenate and inspire me when I get behind the wheel of a car! Well, it wasn't before too long and by coincidence, while taking a hiatus on the Washington coast this past November, we decided to drive down to Portland and pay Sami a visit. Unbeknownst to us he just received 2 Audi A6 Avants in his inventory only a few days ago! Call it a stroke of good luck, timing, or coincidence. I took it as a sign that NOW was the the time to make a move and upgrade while we were first in line! The A6 Avant is difficult to find out here on the West Coast. They seem more readily available on the East Coast for some reason. During the drive down, Ron and I were in deliberations as to why I found it necessary to make a car purchase as I already was driving a great '07 A6 Avant loaded with all the "creature comforts" available for that year and model car. Besides an upgrade would mean higher monthly car payments! Upon our arrival at Idrive Autohaus, where my final lobbying attempts failed to sway Ron into making a decision, Sami immediately came to my rescue! Like a confident, seasoned District Attorney taking the floor of the courtroom, he meticulously laid out in clear and logistical talking points on the benefits of upgrading to a newer model car. After Sami finished his closing statements, Ron sat there with a big smile on his face, speechless and quite convinced that perhaps maybe, it was time to upgrade to a 2010 A6! I breathed a sigh of relief knowing that our time spent driving down to Portland that afternoon was not in vain! I was exhausted! By the time Sami had finally convinced Ron to make the car purchase it was approximately 7:00 p.m. We couldn't start any paperwork because Ron conveniently left his checkbook back in our Washington hotel room! It was a deliberate attempt to avoid a potential car purchase. We had no choice but to leave and come back on the weekend! Lucky me! I got to drive down and now back up to Washington! :( We drove down to Portland that Saturday morning and arrived at Idrive Autohaus in the early afternoon. The car we were going to buy was in the showroom! It was absolutely gorgeous! A Jet black A6 Avant 3.0 T Supercharged! Yahhhh Baby!!! I was taken aback by the "immaculate" condition of the car both inside and out! We only saw photo's of it prior to this visit! Photo's didn't do it justice! Up close and personal is the only way to get to realize the true beauty and "aesthetic" of a German Luxury Brand from Idrive Autohaus! Living in inner Northeast I've driven by iDrive Autohaus for years going to and from Freddie's. I've always admired the great selection of gorgeous cars on their lot. I'm not one to feel comfortable walking onto car lots, not wanting to be accosted by an overly eager salesperson. I started going onto the safety of iDrive website to view their inventory of Audis. (I've been driving a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 for the last 4 years, but knew I needed to move on...) It was easy to let my browser do the shopping, but there comes a point when I just had to go sit behind the wheel and check a few of their Audis. I walked onto the lot, looked in a few car windows, got behind the wheel of a few all the while trying to get my courage up to go into the salesroom to talk to a salesperson. (I did noticed it seemed strange that although it was the weekend no one came running out to sell me a car...) Entering the sales area I was greeted by Sami Barbar, the owner. He invited me to sit down which I did (in a lovely leather chair) and we just spent time getting to know each other. This was so refreshing and unexpected. Sami wanted to know about me and what was important to me. He didn't ask me what kind of a car I wanted or how much money I wanted to spend. He basically just wanted to figure out how to match me with the right car. After about 15 minutes of talking I stopped to share that I had always felt what the auto industry needed (and what people really wanted) was someone to match the personality with the car and vise-versa. Sami is that guy. Finally after 45 minutes of talking, I had to suggest that maybe we should look at a few cars... Talk about low pressure. I had to tell Sami to show me a car.... I loved the experience and Sami found the right cars for me to consider. He taught me how to analyze the financial aspects of car buying and ownership. I went home that day feeling armed with the tools to make a good decision. I came back the next day to share my findings with Sami who listened attentively, added a few other factors to consider, and let me draw my own conclusions. I didn't make a decision on the spot, but came back the next morning prepared to get embroiled in nasty negotiations and strong arm tactics. Not of that... Again, no pressure, no haggling, just honest exchange that lead to a deal that felt right, fit my finances, and didn't make me feel I'd been put through a meat grinder. Wow! I am so happy with my new car, and I'm equally thrilled with the service, care, and attention that I got at iDrive. My husband has a great hometown dealership in New Hampshire where you can trust the salespeople that the cars are in great shape, that you'll have an easy, pleasant experience, and that don't need to haggle. I'm so glad I found iDrive (on Yelp!) because they give that dealership a run for their money! I found a few cars on the iDrive website (always up to date) and went to look at them. Sami welcomed us and sat us down at the computer to select the cars I wanted to see and look into warranties. I hadn't thought about purchasing a warranty, but I decided to go for it based on the high quality information Sami provided about the various options. Since I was financing, we looked at the numbers and figured out what my estimated monthly payment would be for a few cars. Sami never tried to push me out of my price range or push me toward a different car. We checked out three cars and test drove just one. iDrive mostly sells late model Audis, but they also have a good stock of lower priced cars from trade-ins. They spruce up the really good ones and sell them alongside the high-priced luxury cars. I made the very easy choice to buy a 2008 BMW 328i, and we sat down to do the paperwork. It was all very easy. Sami did let me know about an additional coverage service for minor dings and repair work, but didn't pressure me at all when I declined. iDrive's success is clearly driven by repeat customers that come back for the great service and reliable, trustworthy staff. It is a rare and refreshing change from the typical hard sell used car dealership experience! I had a comically difficult time coming into Portland for a job interview and Sami at iDrive Autohaus made a huge personal difference in my interview success AND my faith in humanity :) I drove in from Spokane on the afternoon before a second job interview. Exiting 1-84, zooming along because I was late to a rental house showing appointment in Northeast, I suddenly heard a persistent clunking and felt some violent shaking from my car. I pulled over and got out to look at the thing and saw that my back left tire was only being held on by 1 of its 5 lug nuts. Somehow I lucked out, as it would have been disastrous if my tire has FALLEN OFF on the freeway. Many white knuckled blocks and 2 sketchy auto-repair shops later, I dragged the thing to iDrive Autohaus after googling the closest European car shop I could find. I was explaining my situation to the staff member in the showroom and asked if she could perhaps sell me some lug nuts so I could start breathing again and not worry that I'd miss my interview or not be able to make it back for work in Spokane on time the next day. Sami got up from the other side of the room and said he'd check to see if he had some fitting lug nuts he could sell me. He ended up replacing all of my missing lug nuts, spent extra time making them match the existing ones as well as possible, had his assistants check the torque of the lug nuts on all of other tires AND adjust my tire pressures. And he didn't take any money from me even after I offered twice to pay him. iDrive Autohaus has some genuine people who went out of their way to help out a panicking out-of-towner. If I get this job, I'll definitely be back...and maybe upgrade to an over 1996 model Mercedes :-) read more

It is my pleasure to recommend Columbia motors if you are searching for an automobile. I appreciate the open and honest way that Maks and Roman address their customers. These guys stand behind their word and are straightforward. We bought a used 2005 F250 with 85K miles on it. On our test drive we noticed it had a hard starting issue when the engine was hot. Columbia motors sales team suggested we take the truck to our local Ford dealership and that they would cover the diagnostics and repairs for the hard starting issue. We took the truck into Bickford Ford where they found a bad injector, IPR and STC fitting. They replaced all bad parts and Columbia Motors stood by their word and covered all costs. This was an expensive fix. Columbia Motors are honorable and have real integrity. They give 110% effort to make you comfortable with purchasing a vehicle. They set the bar high when it comes to being fair and honest in their dealings. March 12, 2019 I recently purchased an Audi Q5 from IDrive Autohaus. I went through my bank's car buying program, which lead me to Sami (the owner) at IDrive Autohaus. Like most of the other reviews Sami is a great guy, straight talker, no-BS, very easy going and VERY PATIENT! Buying a car can so anxiety provoking and unpleasant but Sami makes you feel very comfortable with a no pressure approach and really works with you to find the perfect car for you and at a reasonable price. What's not to love ? No pressure or BS, Sami is clearly, genuinely enthusiastic about cars, he'll talk your ears off, and he's got some really top drawer vehicles on his lot. Saw Sami had a perfectly spec'd A8 at a good price but was still awaiting delivery, no problem, he kept in touch with updates and info, then let me know when it was there. Meantime, he got the financing sorted and at a better rate than the bank I've been with since '94... ( B of #$%@ A). The car looked beautiful, but Sami was totally up front and went through the service history, issues that had been sorted, and provided all the supporting documentation, reassuring ! I'm an experienced used car shopper and I can tell you these guys are in a class of their own. Most of the cars they sell are super nice high-end euro cars but they had a sweet FJ Cruiser I had been looking for. I was treated with class and respect. Lynette and Sami were super helpful, friendly, REAL (no smarmy sales tactics). Sami let me negotiate a bit on my trade-in and I got a super honest deal. There was no "back office" haggling, no pre-drafted up sells. I liked the rig, I liked the price, financing was painless and I got what I wanted. I saw my dream car, an Audi Q5, listed for a very competitive price at iDrive on the Kelly Blue Book website. Sami and I proceeded to work out a deal with my trade in and purchase over the phone, as I live about 3 hours from Portland. He went the extra mile and had the car looked over by Sunset Audi, paid for some fixes, as well as found me a few extras that I wanted for the car. Sami and his team were Great to work with! I will admit at first I was leary of purchasing a car from a very small dealership, others similar in size usually sell cars less desirable and with shady sales reps, this is not the case at iDrive Autohaus. We spent the day test driving several cars from different makers all over the Portland metro area, we had made a decision that the Mazda6 was the best choice for us, Sami had a sweet 2015 Touring model with below average miles for sale for $2-$3 thousand below fair market value. Sami threw us the keys to take it our for a test drive, he let us have all the time we needed to look over the car and talk over our decision without any pressure. I purchased an Audi S 4 from Sami at I Driver almost a year ago. Sami and Lynette were great to work with and made me feel very comfortable with the whole process of buying a car on my own.
