The finance team was smooth and straightforward, making the process way less stressful than expected. That level of care and communication really sticks with you. Overall, just a solid, positive experience from start to finish. The moment the paperwork was signed, the communication completely disappeared. Their "We Owe" process is an absolute joke. I've been waiting weeks just to get the promised repairs scheduled. I've called multiple times, left messages, and every single time I get the same scripted response: "They'll reach out." Three different employees have told me exactly that, and not once has anyone followed through. Service Department? Comical Jered at the Portland location has repeatedly failed to return calls or messages after saying he would. If you're going to tell a customer you'll call them back, then do it. It's that simple. I own a business myself, and I know customer service doesn't end when the payment clears. It starts there. Keeping your word and communicating with customers isn't optional it's the bare minimum. The ironic part is I actually like the car I bought. My problem isn't the vehicle. It's the people running this dealership and the complete lack of accountability after the sale. I'd love to hear from the owner, although it seems the dealership is much quicker to respond to glowing reviews than to customers who are still waiting for promised work to be completed. If you're considering buying here, don't just read the five-star reviews. Read the one-, two-, and three-star reviews carefully. I wish I had. It would have saved me weeks of frustration and excuses and the headache

They said they fixed my vehicle and within a week it stopped working. They told me I needed a new battery but I took it back to the auto zone I bought it at 3 months ago who tested it at 100%. Never once on the paperwork or via phone was it explained that they did a deep dive test that found an issue that might not register directly on a more surface level test by autozone but no one reviewed that with me or made any note about it on the original paperwork that I could show autozone relating to my concern. I reached out to speak with a manager regarding my concerns 4 different times and not once did they reach back out to me. I wish I could just ignore my clients I don't want to talk to - highly unprofessional. I will be complaining to Subaru corporate about my experience. Do not take your vehicle here. I will be going to Vancouver next time. I finally heard back from a a manager who basically didn't give a crap about what had happened. He said that I left messages with a third party call center so he never was truly notified about my concern and didn't seem terribly concerned and just got mad at me that he hadn't gotten contact as if I would know who is fielding my call when I dial the service information listed on the Gresham Subaru website.

First, they let me schedule a test drive that worked for my schedule. Secondly, they were prepared when I showed up... the car was out front and ready to see. Lastly, the sales process was very low pressure and my sales rep (Dosy) worked with me to make the deal align with my needs. The person who processed my documents was very personable and kind as well. The loan process was straightforward and easy. They also purchased my old car and made the transfer process as seamless as possible. The dealership is clean and everyone is friendly and professional. They have a snack area in the back and the restrooms were clean. The best part: they filled the car up with the gas before they handed me the key... it's the small things that matter when it comes to high customer service, and this place definitely hits the mark for me.

We got there, and they were showing the car to someone else who showed up to see it. While they were on the test drive, they tried to get us to buy it out from under them. We went on a test drive after they did, and it was obvious they were buying it when we got back. Then they tried the, "well, their financing might fall through. You should hang around until it's approved." Yuck! Cringy. They showed my hubby a few other cars online, but it was quite awkward and we just wanted to go. A different Ron Tonkin had another car for us to look at. The same day my husband was going to drive down, he got a call saying that someone needed a loaner, so they gave him the same car my hubby was going to see later that day. I think we learned our lesson about Ron Tonkin. The two stars is only because the associate took the time to answer questions and send videos of the car.

You'd think this would be an easy search, but it was nothing but frustrating. I was pretty much ignored in all the "big name" stores. What I would have given for someone to simply point me in the right direction! I just wanted to buy a simple roller shade. How hard could this be for them? And then I walked into Advance Auto Parts on E. Powell in Gresham - and KNEW I had finally found my place. No sooner did I walk in the door than "Brett" asked if I needed some help. When I mentioned wanting a roller sun shade, he went to the back and personally brought out the one he used for his own car! "These work really well for me," he said. "Want to see if it works for your car, before you buy?" With that, we went outside and tried it on my car. It was perfect. (The price was really reasonable, too!) Now THAT was good customer service! That Brett would take the time to "demonstrate" a product, to make sure it would work for me was a very kind (and darned impressive) thing to do. I hope Advance Auto Parts pays this man well. I had a factory defect on an item I purchased at another Advanced Auto Parts store, and they accepted the return here. Funny thing was the second item I bought (at this store), also had a defect. However, they accepted a return on that one too. The third purchase got it right. The product defect was no fault of theirs by the way! Thanks guys, you're my choice when it comes to my automotive needs !
